Okay, reader. Here is the fifth chapter of this story!

Now, I have nothing important to say about this chapter. All I can say is that everything that took place in this chapter just came to mind, just like the last chapter. Whatever ideas came to mind were used and included here.

Anyway, this chapter picks up from where the last one left off, with Adam going to lunch. It also shows him going through something painful in gym class, and what happens to him afterwards as a result. How will this go for him? Find out now!

IN THE CAFETERIA AT CHARLES DARWIN MIDDLE SCHOOL - 12:27 P.M.

It was just about lunchtime for everyone at CDMS. And Adam Lyon had just entered the cafeteria. Unlike yesterday, Adam had decided to use some strategies for him to have the lunch that he brought from home today be eaten by nobody but himself.

To make sure that Bull couldn't take his lunch again, the human student had hidden his lunch in his pants pocket. It might be a little mushy looking when it comes to eating it, but at least he'll be able to eat something edible for lunch this time.

Adam patted the pants pocket that his lunch was stuffed in and glanced in all directions in the cafeteria to make sure there was no Bull in sight. To his relief, he didn't see him anywhere. Letting out a sigh of relief and wiping his forehead, the human student saw the table that the pack was sitting at, and he decided to sit with them.

At that particular table, the pack members were just enjoying their lunches casually, not having anything to say at the moment. It was then Adam approached the table and got their attention.

"Hey guys," he said, getting them to look directly at him.

"Oh. Hey Adam," Jake greeted. "Where's your lunch? Did you forget it again? Or did Bull end up taking your lunch, just like he did yesterday?"

"Not this time," Adam said with a smile, patting the pocket that his sandwich was in. "I decided to keep my sandwich safe in my pocket this time, just so Bull doesn't try to steal my lunch. It might be all mushy from being in my pocket, but at least I can eat something edible for lunch today."

"Wow. Smart thinking Adam," Jake said. "Though I have to wonder if you'll have enough money to get your pants washed and dry cleaned after having it make a mess in there."

"Not a problem. I have my sandwich in a sandwich baggy," Adam proclaimed, taking out his sandwich from his pocket to show them that it was in a bag. "See."

"Ooo," the pack members saw the sandwich in the baggy for themselves. Even though it looked squished in spots, it still looked edible for the human student.

"I know. I thought it was clever myself," Adam exclaimed proudly. "And the best part is, I haven't seen Bull at all in the cafeteria. I think I'm in the clear to have my lunch today without anything bad happening to it."

"Uh, I wouldn't be so sure of that, man," Slips told him. "I believe I saw Bull nearby a little while ago."

"Turns out Bull wasn't in the mood for your lunch in the slightest, since he's not too fond of how much mayonnaise you used. So it may seem that he went after Henry's lunch since it's more edible for bull sharks," Windsor decided to elaborate for Adam to understand as he pointed towards a table in a corner of the lunchroom.

All of them turned to that particular corner, where Bull Sharkowski had just eaten Henry's lunch without any problem at all. Needless to say, Henry was upset judging by his frown.

"Well shoot," Henry snapped his fingers. "I was gonna be eatin' that, ya know? It was my lunch."

"Tough break Armadillo," Bull snorted as he then breathed through his headphones and got up. "I'll be back to pound your sorry butt later."

"Aw shucks," Henry proclaimed as Bull walked off. "Now I got no lunch, and I'm gonna get pummeled later on, on top of that."

Back with the pack, Adam had to blink at what he just witnessed.

"Wow," Adam said. "I didn't expect that to happen. It's like Bull has something against Henry and all that."

"Sí," Lupe nodded in agreement. "It's known that Bull Sharkowski likes to bully Henry and steals his lunches whenever he isn't after you."

"I see," Adam blinked again, and frowned at that. He wasn't surprised by how Bull would do that to one of the other weaker students. Still, it didn't seem too different from how he was treated. Fortunately, Henry was willing to put up with it all, with a smile on his face.

"I guess that makes sense. Anyway, mind if I sit down with you guys?" Adam queried.

"Of course, Adam," Ingrid said kindly. "We were hoping that you'd sit with us anyway."

"Right. Thanks, Ingrid," Adam smiled slightly as he sat down and took out his sandwich from the baggy.

"So anyway Adam," Jake decided to change the subject. "How did your little visit with Mr. Mandrill go?"

"Oh, you know? It went as well as I had hoped," Adam shrugged and took a bite of his sandwich. "Quick. Simple. To the point. Nothing unusual happened. I got some stuff off of my chest."

"Really? What did you two talk about?" Jake questioned.

"Uh, Jake," Adam gave him an incredulous look. "I'd rather not talk about it."

"Oh come on Adam," Jake yelled. "Why can't you!?"

"Well Jake, it's something personal," Adam swallowed his food as he exclaimed. "It was something I wanted to be kept secret between me and Mr. Mandrill. The stuff that is wrong with me shouldn't be shared with anyone else."

"I guess that makes sense," Windsor commented. "It's common knowledge that most secrets should be kept hidden from the public's view. They happen to be called 'secrets' for a reason."

"You said it Windsor," Lupe agreed. "There's nothing that I have that I would keep secret from you. But even if I did, you guys wouldn't know about it!"

"Well I for one think that secrets should be kept secret," Ingrid remarked. "There are a lot of things about me that I would like to keep a secret from you guys."

"Yeah. You know, secrets are wicked awesome, dude," Slips absentmindedly said. "Everyone has them. You just don't know what they are because they're kept secret."

"Exactly Slips," Adam took another bite of his sandwich. "And that's why I'd rather not talk about the discussion I had with Mr. Mandrill."

"Come on! You can tell me!" Jake begged. "I'm all for keeping secrets!"

"Sorry Jake. But my decision is final," Adam told him sharply. "Besides, knowing you, you would probably blab about it and share it with everyone else at the school."

"Since when would I ever do that to you?" Jake asked.

"Since always," Adam deadpanned. "I'll let you think about that for a bit."

"Please, Adam! It wouldn't hurt to know a hint, you know!" Jake yelled. "I'm supposed to be your best friend!"

"Don't start with that, Jake," Adam warned, swallowing his food. "I'm not gonna say what it was, so just drop it."

"Okay! Okay, fine! Geez!" Jake yelled while furrowing his eyebrows. "Isn't it so much trouble to tell me not to bring it up anymore?"

Adam didn't say anything. He only rolled his eyes as he continued eating his sandwich, not wanting to discuss it with Jake any further. It was then the pack remained silent for a few moments or so.

As soon as Adam was halfway done eating his sandwich, he asked them. "So anyway, how were things in fourth-period class?"

"Oh, fine. Fine. Just fine," Jake told him. "Hibernation class was the same as always. Just a snooze fest for me and the rest of the students, right guys."

The rest of the pack all made comments in agreement, showing that Jake was right about how boring it was. Adam seemed satisfied with this.

"Well, that's good," Adam continued eating. "Good to know that I didn't miss much."

"Trust me, Adam, if there was something important that you had missed out on, we'd let you know," Jake said nonchalantly.

"That's right man," Slips agreed. "If they had done something new in Hibernation class that you don't know about already, you'd get the memo right away, Adam."

"Cool," Adam swallowed his food and smiled. "I'm glad to know that you'd fill me in on what I missed out on, guys."

"Yes," Lupe said. "It would be caótica for everyone if you were left in the dark about it. Right guys?"

The rest of the pack just nodded in agreement, which was enough of a suitable answer for Adam. Not having anything else to say, the human student decided to finish up the rest of his lunch, as did the rest of the pack members.

There was nothing else to discuss right now, so all they could do was finish eating. They knew that gym class was next, so they needed all the energy they could get from their lunch alone. No question about that at all...

The lunch period had passed by like it was nothing. And now it was gym class for several of the students. This included Adam, who was in the same gym class as Jake, Windsor, Slips, Lupe, and Ingrid. Several other students attended that gym class including Bull, Henry, and a few others.

All of the students were dressed in their red and white gym shorts and undershirts, save for a few such as Slips, who was only wearing the undershirt, and Jake, since he refused to wear shorts or any kind of pants.

Standing right in front of all of the students was Coach Tiffany Gills herself. Coach Gills was a tiny, orange goldfish, who floats in the middle of a larger glass fishbowl of water. She also has a tall, yellowfin on her head, resembling a lock of curly hair, upon which she wears a blue bow. She has three eyelashes on each of her big, bulging eyes, that often stare off in different directions.

She also has a very large mouth, rimmed with pink lips. She has two yellow fins on the sides of her body, serving as her arms, and a tail on the back. Lastly, she was wearing a whistle around her neck, that's bigger than she is, causing it to lie down on the floor of the bowl, while her body only supports the back end of the string. Her fishbowl was placed on a stand with wheels, which upon being pushed is the only way she can get around.

Standing right next to Coach Gills was her assistant Horace. Horace was shown as a short and skinny little tan ferret with a red polo shirt. He has a black stripe on the fur, where his eyes are, and a pink nose. He also has some hairs sticking out of his head and nose. Aside from being Assistant Coach, Horace's only role was to push Coach Gills around the school so she can get from place to place.

The students were heard talking amongst each other until Coach Gills blew her whistle, getting their attention right on the spot.

"Alright you animals, listen up," Coach Gills started to speak with a rather masculine type of voice. "As you all know, many of the students here are not in fit shape, including all of you, lemmings! So today, we have a special physical activity that you'll all be taking part in!"

"Uh, 'cuse me Coach," Jake had his hand up. "But is it going to be football?"

"Spidermonkey, you aren't even close," Coach Gills had to express her annoyance with his guess.

"Uh, if I may intervene," Windsor spoke up. "It's painfully clear to me that we're to take part in a list of different exercises to test out our 'own' physical prowess, or as most would call it; the obstacle course."

"Sorry to rain on your parade dude, but that's not what we're doing either," Slips decided to share. "What we're doing in the gym today is playing some ultimate fetch."

"Geez, you chicos think all alike, don't you," Lupe got her voice out. "It's obvious that we're going to be playing some volleyball outside on the football field, fools!"

"Well I for one think that another Annual District Physical Fit Test is coming up, and we have to prepare for it," Ingrid commented shyly.

"I hope we're playing dodgeball today," Bull remarked smugly before breathing through his headphones. "Cause then I'll be able to whip all of 'yo' sorry butts!"

"Uh, are we gonna play Throw the Armadillo again," Henry asked nervously, shuffling his feet a bit. "Cuz I'd like a head start this time 'round, if we do."

It was at that moment that every student except Adam started making guesses as to what they were going to be doing in gym class today. Several moments later, Coach Gills blew her whistle and got them to stop talking.

"You're guesses are all incorrect!" Coach Gills bellowed before she gave her explaination. "What we'll be doing in gym class is we'll be testing your endurance, your agility, and your overall instincts on the chase and catch with a special tool. Horace, show them what I mean!"

Horace didn't say anything as he took out what appeared to be a laser pointer. It didn't take long for the animal students to get a good look at it.

"Oooo..." All of the students (bar Adam) stared in awe, completely mesmerized by it.

By contrast, Adam was completely confused by this, as he raised an eyebrow.

Zuh? Isn't that a laser pointer? Adam thought in confusion. That's what we're doing in gym class today?

"That's right lemmings! This is what they call a laser pointer," Coach Gills exclaimed. "Since nothing else can get you animals to sweat and take part in 'survival of the fittest'; and believe me, ultimate fetch can't even do that. We're gonna work with your instincts and allow them to kick in to chase after the dot. Horace, would you do the honor?"

Horace nodded as he pressed the button and caused a red dot to appear on the floor where the laser pointer was pointing. Immediately, all of the students (except Adam) went completely feral and made screeching animal sounds as if they wanted to chase and hunt down that red dot.

Adam was a bit confused by this, as he had no idea what this was about, and didn't 'really' see the appeal in this. Seeing how all of the animal students were behaving, Coach Gills blew her whistle again.

"Alright, ya animals! That's enough out of the lot of you!" Coach Gill barked before turning towards her assistant. "Horace, turn that thing off!"

Horace did so as the red dot disappeared. All of the animal students stopped acting feral and were back to normal. They seemed to be fascinated by what they had seen and wanted more of it. Jake, in particular, was enthused by what they were going to do in gym class today.

"Woo hoo! That was awesome!" Jake cheered, both hands in the air. "Let's do it again! This is going to be the best gym class ever!"

"Yes Mr. Spidermonkey, I know," Coach Gills proclaimed. "'In fact', today's gym class is about chasing after the red dot. And by doing so, you'll be showing your endurance, your agility, and most of all, the internal instincts that you use while hunting for food!"

"Hey, Coach Gills? Would it be alright to point that red dot at Henry Armadillo," Bull suggested, with a smug grin on his face. "Cuz that would give me the excuse to pummel him."

"Don't get ahead of yourself, Mr. Sharkowski," Coach Gills deadpanned. "You're all expected to take part in this exercise. So I expect to see 100% effort out of the lot of you. Is that clear?!"

"Right on, Coach," Slips cheered. "This gym class is going to be wicked radical, dudes."

"Frankly, I've been wondering if we would ever be able to participate in a class that puts our instincts to the test," Windsor shared.

"Sí! It's all about the red dot! And all of its glorious wonders," Lupe proclaimed. "BRING ON THE RED DOT!"

"Well, I think it'll be fun to chase after a red dot," Ingrid admitted.

"No duh! Red dots are shiny, and pretty," Jake said in admiration. "WOO HOO! LET'S CHASE AFTER THE RED DOT!"

"Alright! Alright you animals, I know how much you want to chase the red dot. But hold onto your horses for a second," Coach Gills instructed them. "When I blow the whistle, Horace will point that laser pointer to the ground, press the button to show the shiny red dot, and then you'll all have to chase after it, climb up the vines, and demonstrate some acrobatics to catch up to it! Do you all understand!?"

"Yes Coach," all of the animal students said in unison.

"And Lyon," Coach Gills turned her attention to Adam. "I take it that you are all freshened up this time. And you don't have the smell of manure, correct?"

"Uh yes, Coach Gills," Adam nodded. "I managed to keep myself clean this time."

"Good. Because that awful smell from yesterday would be a major distraction during gym class," the gym coach told him.

"Right. Uh, Coach Gills? If you don't mind me asking, why are we chasing a red dot for gym class," Adam had to bring up. "With humans, we use it as a toy for our cats to chase around the house to use up their energy."

"Oh my goodness, Adam," Jake gasped, sounding offended. "Are you trying to question the wisdom of the magical red dot? It's amazing! It's SHINY! AND IT'S RED!"

"I know that Jake," Adam deadpanned. "I've seen people use it as a toy for their pet cats to play with. I never seen anyone use it to play with zoo animals before."

"Alright! Alright, Mr. Lyon! I get it! It's not usually used for zoo animals," Coach Gills yelled at this. "But the school board has issued us to use this new technique with all of our students. Just so we know for sure that you lemmings can hunt effectively on your own when you all mature into adults, and not be a bunch of pathetic saps who couldn't hunt a leaf!"

And yet, I still fail to see how this'll help me in the future since I'm a human... Adam thought in annoyance.

"Ahem! Now that we got that out of the way," Coach Gills got their attention. "Does anyone else have any questions that they need to ask before we start today's gym class?"

Unsurprisingly, no one else had any questions that they had to ask. They were pretty much eager and ready to chase down that red dot and attempt to catch it. Coach Gills seemed pretty satisfied with the silence she was given. It meant that they were ready to get the class session underway.

"Alrighty then. Here's how this is going to go," Coach Gills gave an instruction. "I want you all to be on your mark! And when I blow the whistle, Horace here will press the button and start moving the red dot around. And once you see the dot, you are to all chase after it. And I want to see plenty of running, climbing, scaling, and whatever it takes to catch it, so we will know you have what it takes to be a hunter in the wild! Is everyone ready!?"

All of the animal students nodded in anticipation, while Adam simply frowned, not looking forward to this at all. He gulped and grimaced at this.

"Okay, team!" Coach Gills started. "Now, on your mark! Get set!"

Immediately after she was finished, she took her whistle and blew right into it like she usually does. Horace took this as his signal as he pressed the button on the laser pointer, and the red dot appeared as he started moving it around.

The moment the red dot appeared caused all the animal students to go feral and let their instincts kick in as they started chasing it. Meanwhile, Adam felt awkward about this setup as he tried running after it, not feeling as enthusiastic about it as the others were.

All of the animal students small and large were giving full chase against the red dot, and they seemed to be doing good with keeping up. Adam, on the other hand, was jogging and panting to keep up with it. There was no doubt that he didn't have the stamina or the instincts needed to keep up with the others and not feel worn out.

They were running laps around the gym as the red dot keep moving in circles all along the walls of the gym, and the students who weren't Adam were barely worn out. It was then Coach Gills blew her whistle and bellowed.

"Faster you animals! Faster! I want to see ALL of you break a sweat out there!"

"Hey, Adam!? Come on!" Jake called out to him as he kept running. "Try to keep up, will ya?! You don't know what you're missing out on!"

"I'm trying to, Jake," Adam panted. "I'm going as fast as I can. But I'm...feeling tired. Can't...keep up!"

"Lyon, I expect you to at least put in an effort out there!" Coach Gills hollered.

"Right," Adam huffed as he continued to run and keep up with them, to no avail.

Eventually, Coach Gills was satisfied and decided to change courses as she looked toward her assistant. "Alright Horace, you know what to do."

Horace nodded as he then moved the red dot over to the bleachers, making for a change of course. All the animals knew what to do as they climbed up the bleachers. A few of the heavy students that were elephants, rhinos, hippos, and bovines were unable to get to the top as they fell through the bleachers, creating a gaping hole in the spots they fell into.

The bird students such as Lupe could simply fly up there, while smaller students such as Jake and Slip were light enough to reach the top of the bleachers to catch the red dot. A tall student such as Ingrid could only get to the halfway area of the bleacher before stopping since she would plow her head right through the ceiling.

Instead, she used her massively long neck to chase after the red dot, as much as she could. And the smallest students which include Henry and James were able to use her neck to their advantage as they climbed on and ran across her neck.

And then there was Adam, who was attempting to get up onto the bleacher. It was easier said than done as they were plenty of massive holes in the bleachers that were made by the heavier students.

He was barely able to get around one of the holes before he ended up falling into another. Thankfully, his arms quickly reacted as he grabbed onto the edge of the hole.

It took several moments of struggling to climb back up, but Adam was able to make it back up onto the bleachers, which was followed by panting and huffing repeatedly.

He then realized that the other students were ahead of him. As such, Adam had resumed running in a struggling manner, trying his best not to fall behind. As the students were reaching the end of the bleachers, Coach Gills decided to move on to the next part.

"Alright, Horace! Aim that dot for the vines over there," Coach Gills ordered. "I want to see these animals be able to climb and swing after that red dot!"

Horace nodded once again as he aimed the red dot for the nearby vines away from the bleachers. It was now time for the students to swing their way after the dot, and the results depended on the animal species of each animal.

Most of the heavier students were unable to climb and swing on the vine. Not only could they grab the vine with hooves and single toes common in elephants, but their weight would also bring the vines down and the ceiling with it. So all they could do was continue running along the vines.

Of course, Ingrid was too tall to climb up the vine, so she was unable to do so, while Lupe was able to fly up and soar around each vine that was in front of her.

As for Windsor, he was able to climb up and swing from vine to vine after the red dot, since he was a gorilla. And even though he was lowland, they could still climb up trees when necessary. Because Slips was a snake, he could slither up the vine by circling 'around' a vine and then use his mouth to cling onto the next vine, then wrap his tail around the one after that, and repeat that method to go after the dot.

And of course, there was Jake, who had zero problems with this part. It took him no effort to climb up the vines and swing from one to another, which was something he was skilled at, being a monkey and all.

Lastly, there was Adam, who was barely able to make it to the end of the bleachers as he jumped down. With a running jump, Adam barely managed to grab the end of the first vine as he struggle to climb up. He felt his hands slipping as he scattered to attempt to stay on the vine.

After making sure he wouldn't slide off the vine, Adam swung it back and forth several times to make sure he was closer to the vine next to it. Upon seeing he was close enough, Adam let go of the vine he was on and went to grab the other vine.

Unfortunately, Adam didn't have luck on his side as he just missed that vine by the thread of a hair. He then fell back onto the floor and landed face-first onto the ground with a thud and a groan. Jake had witnessed this as he then call out.

"Gee, Adam! You seem to have a hard time with swinging from vine to vine," he declared as he kept swinging. "Your arms could use some work with swinging and whatnot!"

"I-I know Jake," Adam moaned, lifting his head and sporting some injuries. "I'm not very good at this..."

Meanwhile, Henry was having trouble himself as he was reaching the first vine from the bleachers. He managed to grab it and remain his posture. But when he tried to swing to the next vine while curled up, his body ricocheted against the vine and he then fell onto the ground moments later. Landing right on top of Adam as a result, getting Adam to groan from the impact.

"Whoa, Nelly. I'll be sure to never do that 'gain," Henry uncurled himself and kept his hand on his head. "Anyway, thanks for breakin' mah fall, Adam. Ya sure made it a soft landin'."

"R-Right...Don't mention it," Adam groaned as his head was spinning before his face fell flat onto the ground.

"Why, I sure do wish I could get back up and chase after that fine red dot o'er there. Yes sirree," Henry proclaimed, attempting to pull himself together.

Not far from there, we see Bull Sharkowski swinging from vine to vine as he saw both Henry and Adam on the ground, neither of them being able to get back up onto the vine. Feeling the need to pummel something, Bull got done with swinging as he went back to that first vine from the bleacher and climbed up.

With a smug and devious smirk on his face, Bull swung to the next vine low enough to reach the human student and armadillo. Using his free fin as a fist, Bull then held it in position. And once he was close enough, his fist plowed right into Henry and Adam, sending both of them flying upward, with the former curling himself into a ball upon contact with the fist.

Letting out a rather sadistic laugh, Bull swung onto the next vine as he said to his two victims. "That's right suckas! [Ya] both got served! Ha!"

Both Henry and Adam collided into the ceiling, with Adam smacked face first into the ceiling before both of them landed into the basketball hoop. Because Henry was curled into a ball, he was able to fall right through the hoop like a real basketball. Adam didn't have that same kind of luck as he was then stuck in the hoop, unable to break free.

And to make matters worse, Adam's 'own' weight managed to cause the net of the hoop to snap apart, causing the human student to fall and crash landed back onto the ground, on his back this time. Adam struggled to get back onto his feet while Henry uncurled himself and felt rather dizzy as he staggered about a little.

"Ooooo..." Adam grunted, feeling some pain in his body. "I don't think I'll be able to catch up with the others now..."

"You said it..." Henry agreed as he staggered after the others before collapsing onto the ground and moaning.

In his current state, all Adam could do was just watch the others attempt to catch the red dot for the next several minutes, not able to run after it anymore.

Several minutes later, Coach Gills could see the sweat forming on most of her students as she felt that they had enough. She then blew her whistle to bring the session to a halt.

"Alright, you lemmings! That's enough out of the lot of you," she then told her assistant. "Cut the red dot Horace! I think they've shown their capabilities!"

Horace immediately let go of the button, making the red dot disappear as all the animal students came to a complete stop afterwards. Afterwards, the students were now catching their breath as Jake felt over-ecstatic about what they did.

"WOO HOO!" Jake cheered, hands in the air. "That had to be the best thing to have ever happened to us!"

"Suffice to say that we all were able to make something out of this," Windsor commented.

"This was 'totally' awesome dudes," Slips added. "I can't remember the last time I felt this stoked."

"Okay, class. I get it. You all had a hoot chasing that red dot today," Coach Gills got their attention. "And let me commend the lot of you animals! You all did a terrific job giving it your all!"

"Yes! We were amazing out there, weren't we?!" Lupe wondered in excitement.

"Yes, Ms. Toucan. Well, almost everyone," Coach Gills then looked towards Adam. "Lyon here is an exception. You gotta pull it together and at least make an effort to keep up with the others, Mr. Lyon!"

"Ooo...I know Coach Gills," Adam moaned, grimacing at the pain he had gotten. "But-ow! I think I'm in pain. My back hurts, my eye's swollen, and I think I broke a couple of bones from falling..."

"Hmmm, yes. Well, you do look a little battered up for wear," Coach Gills admitted thoughtfully. "Perhaps it would do you some good to stop by Nurse Gazelles' office after gym class is dismissed."

"I dunno if that'll do me any good," Adam grumbled under his breath as he saw Henry pass out. "What about Henry?"

"Oh don't worry about him. The kid'll be fine," Coach Gills advised him. "As soon as he wakes up, he'll be good as new."

"Right," Adam sighed as he shook his head.

"Okay class, you can get changed up," the gym teacher proclaimed. "This gym class is over, so get going!"

None of the students objected to that as they all walked off to the respective changing areas to get out of their gym clothes and back into their usual clothes, aside from the students that don't wear anything.

Adam could only stagger off as he went to get his clothes, take off his gym uniform and get back into his usual wear. Right after he struggled to get his t-shirt and pants on, the bell rang, which meant that the class was dismissed.

Adam could only let out a brief sigh of relief as he decided to make his way to Nurse Gazelle's office to get patched up after what happened to him, while everyone else decided to head to their next class, including Henry once he came to and woke up. Adam could only hope that his visit to the nurse won't be too strain-inducing and painful to handle...

IN THE NURSES' OFFICE:

The trip to Nurse Gazelles' office was anything but eventful. In addition to struggling to walk down the halls with his injuries, Adam nearly got stampeded and trampled over by some of the students who weren't making this any easier for him. Despite this, Adam was still able to get there in one piece without any of his limbs falling off.

Getting to see Nurse Gazelle wasn't any easier. While anyone could stop by her office at any given time, Adam always felt this feeling of discomfort whenever he went in there. Nonetheless, he knew what had to be done. So he managed to suck it up and have Nurse Gazelle see his injuries.

Adam was sitting on the nursing bed, and standing right in front of him was Nurse Gazelle herself.

Nurse Gazelle was depicted as a tall, figured brown Goitered Gazelle with long, black, pointed antlers. She has blonde hair and blue eyes and she usually wears a white nurse's outfit.

The nurse was looking at Adam with an indifferent expression, while the human student was pretty much dreading this. If they could just get this done and over with, that would be perfectly fine with him.

"So, you had a little accident, didn't you?" Nurse Gazelle asked him calmly.

"Well, sorta," Adam said slowly. "I got several injuries today in gym class."

"Yeah, yeah. I've heard that one before," the nurse brushed off. "That's what all the students tell me when they come to my office."

"Right. Nurse Gazelle, I have a question," Adam decided to ask. "Why did you have me strip down to my underwear?"

"Duh. To give you a quick physical. What else?" Nurse Gazelle said matter-of-factly as she held a thermometer.

"A physical?" Adam was confused and a little concerned. "All I need is for my injuries to be patched up."

"Ah don't worry you peach pit," the nurse patted him on the head. "My physical will only take a quick second, and then we'll handle your cold in no time."

"My injuries," Adam corrected her, sweating profusely.

"Yeah, yeah. Whatever," Nurse Gazelle shrugged off as she got all her tools in her hands to perform the physical. "Now sit still and let me perform the physical."

"Uh, nurse? I-I don't think this is necessary..." Adam stuttered.

"Ah, don't worry. It'll be over before you know it," the nurse decided to check his temperature first. "Alrighty then, let's check your temperature."

Adam was expecting her to shove the thermometer in his mouth, but to his surprise, she shoved it in his left ear instead, getting him to yelp in pain.

"Hold still sugar. Just checking your temperature. Now let's see," minutes later, she pulled it out and check on it. "Just as I suspected. Your temperature seems normal. Okay, let's see if we can check that mouth of yours. Open up."

Adam gulped, feeling reluctant to do so, but slowly opened his mouth. Then Nurse Gazelle got the tool that is used to check out the ears and used it for his mouth.

"Mhmm. Mhmm. Oh yes. Oh my, yes. I see," Nurse Gazelle was amazed by what she saw as she took the tool out of his mouth. "The most beautiful mouth I've ever seen. Okay. Now to check your reflexes."

Adam closed his mouth as Nurse Gazelle got out a tiny hammer tool as she then slammed it onto Adam's right knee. Adam yelped and ended up punching himself in the right eye with his right hand.

"Alright. Very good. Now let's check your other leg," Nurse Gazelle then did the same thing to his left knee.

This resulted in Adam yelping again and then doing the same thing to his left eye with his left hand.

"Perfect. That was just what I was looking for," the nurse threw the hammer behind her as she looked at Adam. "Ready for a check of the lower half between your legs?"

"Uhhhh...N-Nurse Gazelle? I...I don't think you have to do that and..."

"Don't worry sweet cheeks," Nurse Gazelle cut him off in a seductive voice. "I won't even take off your undergarments. I'll just check it by feeling with my hooves."

With that, Nurse Gazelle used her right hoove and massage a part of Adam that he didn't like having touched as he squeaked and yelped. The nurse got some satisfaction as she let out an animal sound that is common amongst gazelles.

"Alright. That feels good," Nurse Gazelle said in admiration as she got out the thermometer again. "Now there is just one last place for me to check out. Let's get a good look at your butt and place this thermometer in there to see how it does."

Adam was now dreading this part, as he didn't like that. He couldn't get away as the nurse had him cornered. Nurse Gazelle pulled down his underwear and got a good look at his butt, smirking at what she was seeing. After admiring it for a second, she then took the thermometer and was placed on sticking it in there.

Adam was now shaking and sweating in fear until he felt something uncomfortable and then flinched.

We are now focused outside of the nurse's office as Adam was heard screaming from inside.

"YOOOOOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWWWCCCCCCCCCCHHH!"

It was so loud that it echoed throughout the school. Unfortunately, no one else heard Adam's call for help, nor did they even care. They were too busy doing their own thing to help him out, and they felt that Adam could live through it since he was a human. It seemed that the visit to the nurse's office was going very badly for the human student...

Sometime later, the door to the nurse's office opened up, and stepping out of there was Adam, who was staggering and struggling to keep himself balanced after what Nurse Gazelle did to him. It still horrified him that she did that to him. Then again, it wasn't the first time she acted like that towards him. Even so, it didn't make that visit any less pleasant.

Man. I'm gonna be feeling this for a few days... Adam moaned in his thoughts. That definitely could've gone better. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised considering all that I've been through at this school. I just hope that things don't possibly get any worse for me while I'm attending this school. Maybe I should write about it in my journal...

All he could do was get by the rest of the school day for now. And by the looks of it, it was almost over. Just a little more had to get done, and then he can go home for the day. He just didn't know how much more he could take of this animal school in general...

END OF CHAPTER 5...

Okay, that's it for this chapter! I hope you all enjoyed it even though it took a while for me to finish writing this out!

Yeah, from here on until the story is over, each chapter will be about whatever it is that I can come up with off the top of my head, based on how the story is going and the direction it should be heading in. Just want to let you all know about that.

So if you're wondering about what the next chapter should be about, you'll have to find out until next time, everyone!

For now, you can leave a review for this chapter if you like. There's nothing more to be said about that.

Otherwise, that's all for now folks. So until next time, do tune in again for the remainder of the story. And on that note, thanks again for reading everyone!
