A violent rumble shook a startled Yamato from her slumber before she let out a panicked scream. Immediately, a hand clamped over her mouth. Yamato fought back harder as she tried to free herself from the binds she was bound in before a familiar voice hissed at her, "Will you shut up, you idiot!"

Yamato's eyes became as wide as saucers as she saw her captor and whispered his name in confusion, "Naruto?!"

"In the flesh," he told her before sighing, "I am just a clone. The real is me fighting upstairs."

"Who are you fighting?" Yamato asked him before another violent rumble shook the entire island and she realized the answer in horror, "You didn't!"

"Well, I didn't but my boss did!" the clone tells her with an eye roll, before he tells her, "Hold still."

Naruto then grabbed her wrists and scrutinizing the handcuffs on her wrists, especially the keyhole that locked the cuffs on her wrists

"Don't tamper with them!" Yamato shrieked in fear before she scooched away as far as she could from Naruto with a slight panic, despite her still being tied up.

"Hey," Naruto tells her gently before another impact shook the island, "I need to know the keyhole size and type to make a duplicate key so we can escape off your father's territory tonight."

"What?" Yamato whispered in disbelief as she shakes her head and mutters, "Say that again."

Naruto then pointed at an open furnace where a molten slab of iron was ready to be shaped and crafted into a key.

"I was taught by a master swordsmith on how to make meito blades, making a key should be easy enough," Naruto said with a sigh before he muttered to himself, "Seriously, I don't know why I never thought of this before."

"But ever since your father called me out, I had to become serious." Naruto tells her with a serious voice, "There was no way I am going to break my promise to you and die tonight without giving up."

Naruto then cuts the ropes he tied her up with and immediately Yamato buried herself into his chest in a hug

"I am that important to you?" Yamato asked in a low whisper, "The son of a monster who is helping to oppress the people of Wano."

"Yes," Naruto tells her with a shaking head, "Yamato, I promised to free you and I am a person who never goes back on his word."

"As much as I find this cute, can you release me and my brother already, Uzumaki!" an irritated voice came from the room corner.

Yamato then snapped her head and looked at the other of the corner of the room where a bound Ulti and Page One sat. Ulti had woken up while her brother was coming around, judging from the movement. At their feet was a treasure box that was shut.

"Oh, they were looking for you," Naruto tells Yamato before he explains, "They entered your father's office looking for you and nearly caught me in the act when I was rummaging around to find a spare key for the cuffs. Unfortunately, I did not find them. But when they came, they found a treasure box full of five devil fruits which I am taking."

"Weren't there six devil fruits?" Yamato asked Ulti with a confused voice.

"I think someone has already eaten the sixth one," Page One mutters as he lifts his head and said to Naruto with a serious voice, "So what do you want with us?"

"You two go pack your belongings but don't take too many clothes and stuff," Naruto tells them. "I need it took real."

"What looks real?" Ulti asked him in a confused voice.

"Your staged kidnapping..." Naruto tells them before looking at the molten slab of iron and asks them, "How good is your acting?"

"What makes you think we won't just tell our superiors on what you are planning," Ulti told him in a strained voice.

"Well, I could let Yamato tell them you two were in Kaido's office planning to steal the devil fruits?" Naruto threatened with a flat face before smirking at the panicked expression on the sibling's face, "But I won't do that because I trust you guys and I know you two see Yamato as someone who looked out for you, I am guessing if Kaido wasn't an asshole, you would have asked to be adopted by him to be Yamato's siblings."

Immediately both sibling's cheek turns crimson from the embarrassment, as they looked away from Yamato's eyes before giving an embarrassed huff.

Stunned and feeling touched, Yamato placed a hand over her heart and said, "Is that what you think of me?"

Ulti nods slowly before saying in a hurt voice, "That's why I was so mad at you when you said you want to cut ties with us. We are friends, Yamato!"

Yamato then lowered her regretful eyes and mumbled something that no one in the room could catch.

Naruto then looks upwards before he winces at the memories he received from other clones and said, "Things are getting kind of intense up there. For now, I need to focus on making a duplicate key for Yamato's cuffs."

-Skull Dome: Rooftop -

"Demolition Gust!"

Another clone popped as Naruto barely dodged a barrage of invisible wind blades that were breathed out of Kaido's mouth. He then looked behind to see the rocks behind him get carved into pieces.

That could have taken his head off if he was not careful enough. He only barely dodged that attack thanks to his enhanced perception and reflexes he got from his sage mode. The Eight Gates helped him keep up with Kaido's crazy speed. Despite his gigantic size and dragon appearance Kaido was fast, barely giving Naruto a chance to gather his bearings as he dodged and countered Kaido's attacks which included swipes from his gigantic claws that generated huge shockwaves or the powerful bites that's nearly tore a chunk of his body.

These attacks were the easier one to dodge and counter, the other ones that were much harder to dodge. Naruto then felt his sage mode fade away, and he quickly realized how much in a trouble.

"Bolo Breathe!" Kaido said as he gathers fire inside his mouth before he spat it out as numerous fireballs, each the size of a boulder and they spread all over the battlefield.

Explosions rocked the field as the fire balls scorches the ground black and sent dust and shattered stone fragments everywhere. Kaido then observed the field with his giant eyes. Before a kunai was thrown into the air that had a small paper ball that was tied to it.

"Light?" Kaido thought as he read the kanji on the paper ball before it started to smoke.

The paper ball erupted into blinding light, forcing Kaido to squeeze his eyes shut. Still closing his eyes, Kaido failed to notice a handful of smoke bombs being tossed into the air, creating a cover for their user.

Naruto panted as he took deep breaths and looked at his slightly burnt arm that was signed by Kaido flames. His level of swordsmanship is useless against Kaido in this form. The scales were too resistant to his blades and no matter how much he could cut Kaido's scales and draw blood from the dragon; it was just a scratch to Kaido and five minutes later the cut will be healed. The only way he could beat Kaido with his swords. Is to give him an innumerable number of cuts instantly and expect him to bleed out to death.

"Wait" Naruto thought as he froze in realization, "I have a jutsu like that..."

Naruto immediately began to gather all of the nature energy in his surroundings and blends it with his chakra, returning his body state to Sage Mode. He then crossed his fingers and hundreds of clones were summoned around the battlefield hidden by the smokescreen.

All of them copied the original as he lifted his hand and began to gather and rotate dense chakra and forming it into a shuriken. Naruto did no longer need clones to assist him with this jutsu. So much had changed about him in the past nine years as he began adding more chakra and wind chakra to increase its size before the Jutsu finally began to form as it lets out a high screeching noise.

"What's that high screeching sound?" Kaido growled out as he blinked out the spots in his eyes.

"Not yet!" Naruto yells to his other clones, "Some of us will be infusing with Earth Release instead of Wind."

"Hey" a clone asked with a conflicted expression, "That Jutsu is incomplete!"

"And it's an overkill!" another clone protested, "It's just a huge of waste a chakra, besides we need Shukaku and a desert to make it effective!"

"I know!" Naruto yelled with a grim expression, "But you know multiple Rasenshurikens are not enough to stop him!"

Blinking the spots out of his eyes, Kaido sees the smoke covering the battlefield around him and snorts before spinning his serpentine body into a coil, creating tremendous gusts if winds that cocooned and turned to several raging tornadoes.

"Dragon Twister!" Kaido yelled as the tornadoes immediately clear the smoke, revealing hundreds of Naruto's clones with grim expressions on their faces. All of them were struggling to not get blown away before their soles and feet began to glow with chakra.

Some of them held a massive spinning sphere that had four large pointed blades made of wind extending out of the core, that produced a screeching noise. But the others had a churning and spinning sphere that creaked and within it was a mixture of dirt, dust, sand and rocks grinding against each other.

Kaido's Observation Haki screamed at him to move away, but it was too late as numerous projectiles streaked towards him. There was no escape, as Kaido saw hundreds of projectiles rushing towards him from all sides.

Kaido just braced himself as the first projectile hit him, and the shuriken exploded and expanded into a vortex of wind in the area he was hit, and it stung. Another projectile hit another spot of his body and another wind vortex formed. Soon, he was being hit by many of these projectiles. Each one of them expanded into violent vortexes of winds on impact. Surprisingly, the vortexes began to absorb and merge with each other into one massive vortex of wind sphere that trapped him within it.

As he braced himself in the blast, Kaido began to feel stinging pain across his scales and muscles as he felt his like his long serpentine body was being cut with thousands of small knives. From the corner of his eyes Kaido saw dozens of Naruto's hitting the wind vortex with a brown streak of light in their hand Each time a brown light hit the swirling dome of vortex that cut him, the winds began to become heavier as dirt started to form around the sphere and swirling around the edges of the domes.

"Collapse!" he heard his adversary shout and the wind vortex sphere began to shrink rapidly.

The wind was still cutting him with small and many cuts, but the most dangerous part was the dirt clumping around his body and producing a tremendous amount of pressure to crush his body as he slowly began to spin around dragged by the centrifugal forces on the dirt that was spinning him around and crushing him within the swirling dome.

Kaido just gritted his teeth before he began shifting his form, ignoring the pain that was inflicted on his body before he gripped his kanabo and swung it.

"Earth Release: Rasenburial." Naruto thought as he looked at the swirling mass of earth chakra in the wind vortex, contracting in size it and shrinking down the dome of wind all while cutting and crushing the dragon within it.

It's a jutsu where Earth Release Chakra is added to his Rasengan. Once hit by it, the victim is trapped in a swirling sphere mass of chakra that acts like a spinning prison that crushes them with earth particles as it contracts.

The jutsu was incomplete as the throwing it like a projectile was way too slow for battle due to the heaviness of the Rasenburial sphere. So he had to completely pin down Kaido with multiple Rasenshurikens and then slam a swarm of Rasenburial on the wind vortex for a more devastating effect, being crushed and cut at the same time. It should be enough.

Naruto stumbled as he felt himself getting weaker before he inspected his body with surprise as there was no residual nature energy left within his body.

"Over already?" Naruto thought in astonishment as he looked at Kaido entrapped with the dome, "I need to use the transcendent gates if he comes out of this"

Naruto immediately dismissed every clone so that he could merge all of his chakra into himself as in preparation to activate the gates with sage mode to fight Kaido if he comes in his normal form.

He then felt the amount of chakra within his body. Once he sensed his reserves did that, Naruto's expression became grim as he realized that he had burned through half of his reserves with this stunt trapping Kaido within his momentary prison.

Naruto began to mold and create chakra within his body as fast as he can by converting his stamina to chakra, but before he was done, the dome was popped by a powerful inward force that popped it. Kaido, in normal form, briefly floated in the air before landing on his feet once he fell to the ground.

Naruto blinked as he saw Kaido pull himself up. The monstrous being's body was littered with minor cuts and bruises all over his tough muscles, but they were healing much slower than usual.

Naruto immediately grabbed his swords and was about to attack Kaido with when he stopped and examined the situation. Despite Kaido's relaxed demeanour, there were no openings from him to exploit currently right now. Which means he had to wait for Kaido to move first and then counter him.

"So you figured a way to circumvent my durability, upstart?" Kaido growls at him before grinning, "You also took advantage of my massive body for more openings, creating multi directional assaults with your clones. You are a much more effective fighter than most people I have fought before."

"Well, I am Shinobi and if you don't like it, you can take it up to the person who entered me in this lifestyle," Naruto told Kaido with a grin, "You need to expect the unexpected with me and my people can fight dirtier than pirates..."

"Well, I don't care about that," Kaido said with an eye roll before asking him with a serious expression, "Last chance, join me and I will forgive all transgressions against!"

"No way!" Naruto hotly denied the offer with an icy expression. "You can take that offer and shove it up your ass! In fact, here I will shove it up your ass!"

Naruto then flipped his middle finger and shoved it towards Kaido's shocked expression and shouted, "SAGE ART: GATES OF TRANSDENCE!"

Space began to bend around Naruto as he accelerated way above the speed of light in an instant, and he circled around Kaido who was slowly turning his head at that speed before he paled as his Observation Haki told him Naruto intention.

"You wouldn't!" Kaido panicked as he tried to shift his body away from the Kunai that Naruto was rushing towards him with, but he was too late to react as Naruto attempted to ram the kunai up his ass while shouting at the top of his lungs, "TAKE THIS! ONE THOUSAND YEARS OF DEATH!"

The Kunai went through his baggy pant before it bounced off Kaido's seemingly invulnerable skin. The Kunai remained in the new hole of the green baggy of his, as Naruto stared it at with a deadpan, muttering to himself and to Kaido, "I forgot about your invincibility... You can keep the Kunai if you want to? I am not touching that thing again!"

Naruto was immediately backhanded across the battlefield by an enraged Kaido. Naruto spat at a glob of blood before wiping his bleeding mouth as he stared at pissed Kaido, who had steam blowing out of his ears and a red incensed face that creepingly looked like Yamato when she got embarrassed and then got angry at him.

"You dare?" Kaido fumed with anger as he bellowed out, "YOU DARE? THAT WAS JUST PURE-!"

Kaido began spinning his club in his hands and disappeared from Naruto's line of sight and suddenly appeared over Naruto in a blitz of speed. Kaido then brought down his kanabo, that was streaked and imbued with lightning that was colored black and red. But even before the club hit him, Naruto felt the flowing Armament Haki being emitted from it.

Naruto then, with all of his might, the Uzu-Uchiwa and prepared to block the attack as he imbued it with a large amount of chakra that it wrapped around the blade and swings it horizontally in a reverse grip style as he vaulted to his knees and shouting, "One Sword Style: Kurama Tail!"

Haki and Sage Chakra clashed as blade and club connected with sparks, creating streams of energy and shockwaves pulsing around them. Each of their respective weapon and its energy trying to outdo the other. With a resounding snap, the imbued energy with the weapons mixed and a rush of energy and bright light was emitted from the impact point and Naruto paled, remembering the previous times it happened before with normal and now it was Senjutsu Chakra!

Naruto whispered with dread, "Oh you got to be kidding me!"

He was very lucky to be in Sage Mode when the unstable mixture of Haki and Sage exploded and ripped through the air, slamming both adversaries with full force.

KABOOM

-Onigashima Harbor-

King just stared at the skull dome from the harbor for any signs of victory. He was surprised the battle lasted longer than a minute. There was a reason he had this mindset. In the past 25 years, no one had beaten their captain. The only close call was when Oden scarred Kaido in the battle at Udon 17 years ago and the battle tipped into Kozuki Oden's favor before the interference that Kadio wasn't so proud of happened.

Suddenly an echoing blast jolted him alert as shockwaves reverberated on the top of the dome, breaking and shaking apart the island before there was a rush in the air and an explosion shattered the sky, blowing away the stormy cloudy skies into a clear starry sky where a full moon shone brightly above them.

King had shielded himself from the explosion that was faraway and on top of the skull dome, but the blasts echoes were still barrelling across the ocean.

King then looked at the Tobiroppo, talking with each other in hushed voices while others just stared at the direction of battle with serious expressions as they realized how powerful the enemy was. It wasn't an average hotshot rookie pirate trying to make a name for himself. This was a powerful and seasoned warrior putting his life on the line, intending to win this battle. But no matter who it was, King was sure Kaido will always emerge victorious.

"So... Can you guess what is happening up there?" Onyx asks him with a puzzled look as she faced away from the moonlight.

"Kaido-san hasn't done his victory roar yet..." King tells the newcomer with a shaking head, "He could be playing with his opponent. There could be other reasons Kaido-san hadn't crushed him outright yet, like he is stronger than the average person who challenges Kaido-san."

"Is that blasphemy I hear from you King?" a scornful voice came from a masked before he arrogantly said, "Kaido-san's strength is above all in this world. There is a reason Kaido-san is called the World Strongest Creature throughout the seas."

"Who-Who, You overestimated yourself last time," King warned with narrowed eyes as the flames on his back began to burn more fiercely, "Queen forced you to join the Beast Pirates five years ago and that's because you thought he was an easy target! So why don't you leave the experts on this?"

Who-Who's grin slides off his face and narrows his eyes at the jab before he took a drag out of his cigarette and sighed, "Maybe you are right? Nevertheless, I can't believe anyone can last this long against our General-Governor even when he was messing around in battle?"

"Oh, don't be such a scaredy cat, Who-Who!" Sasaki snorted as he gave his colleague an eye roll as a bottle of sake sloshed in his hands. "I am sure we will throw a feast after this battle!"

"Oh..." said Black Maria before a coy smile appeared on her face as she brought out a stack of cash. "I am betting Kaido-san will win in the next fifteen minutes!"

"I will take that!" Jo-Jotte yelled in excitement, making all members of the crew freeze in their places. "How much is in that?"

"YOU AND YOUR GAMBLING ADDICTION HAVE CAUSED KAIDO TO CUT OUR SALARY!" yelled every Tobiroppo present at Joe-Jotte.

"Sorry!" sniggered Jo-Jotte. "I am a sucker for money! And Scapone you still owe me from last time!"

The user of the Snake Snake Fruit Model: Titanboa just glared at his fellow Tobiroppo and asked her, "How much?"

"Twenty Million Berries! Plus the simple interest of 3% of two years." The user Boar-Boar Fruit Model: Entelodon said towards him as she held out an eager hand.

"That will be..." Klondike muttered in the corner as he calculated it instantly, "Twenty-One Million and Two-Hundred Thousand Berries! That's a third of our yearly salary!"

"I know, and stay out of it, bug eyes!" snapped Scapone at Klondike.

The user of insect insect devil fruit Model: Arthropleura just sighed at the insult before looking around and asks, "Has anyone seen Young Master Yamato and the Brats?"

Suddenly all Tobiroppo froze at Klondike words and glare at each other before Black Maria yelled, "1,2,3 Not doing the babysitting! Not it!"

"Not it!/Not it!/Not it!/Not it!" the other four of the Tobiroppo yelled.

"Not it!" Scapone's yell echoes last before he slumps to the ground and whimpered, "Dang it! I hate this! The Young Master is so stubborn these days!"

"I know what you are talking about! Yamato has gotten stronger over the past three years!" Black Maria told him with a pitying look, "We could say that the young master is reaching on our level?"

Sasaki just throws a sake bottle towards Scapone, who catches it and looks at it with an interested look.

"It's yours!" Sasaki informs him before giving him a flat look, "Just make sure that brat doesn't cause anymore trouble for their sake and our sake!"

Kuri: Okagakure (Village Hidden in the Hills)

Tama wanted to speak to someone, but there was no one currently around, as all were in a meeting. She read her letter before giving a sniff as she held back her tears and thought, "First it was Ace-san, now it's Naruto-nee!"

A shock cramped through her body before she slapped the mark on her neck with a wince. She hasn't told anyone but during the week she was not telling anyone that she attempted to use the mark. She had mixed success as sometimes she failed to feel and see the darkness clinging in people's heart. When she could see and feel them, there was a dark smoky wisp covering people. Some had less, some had more, some had none like children, but none had more darkness than her brother.

The darkness shrouded his entire body that changed intensity depending on his mood, and her perception of him changed as she began to feel scared from the darkness and scared for him... So, she kept her distance away from him during the week. But every time he saw her, Tama sensed the darkness in him burn more intensely with feelings of regret and sadness.

She wanted to make amends to him, but every time she tried to come close to her mark began to feel like it was burning her neck as she saw the darkness take the shape of her brother. He looked exactly like her brother but dressed in a white kimono and walked around barefoot like a ghost, but it had black sclera and angry dark red irises instead of the blue calm and kind eyes of her brother.

She wasn't sure if her brother Naruto could see him, but she sometimes saw them staring at each other. She first sensed the darkness during their argument in her brother's office and froze in fear before running away. So, when her brother left her a letter, she rushed to the gates of the village to say farewell to her brother and to tell him what she felt.

But whenever she wanted to speak about the shadow, she got scared to mention it. Now she was agonizing on telling Naruto what she had seen after he left the village and went to the scary island filled with dangerous pirates. She did the opposite of what the letter had advised of her. She slowly began to pull the threads of power from the mark on her neck and into her body as her senses burst.

Now she could feel every negative emotion, and this mansion was filled with anxiety over Naruto's plan.

"Come on, that is not enough!" Tama whispered softly and closed her eyes as she searched for her brother's darkness... It had to be somewhere and suddenly she felt it blazing on the edge of Wano, entering the seas. Tama focused on it as hard as she can, to her surprise, she could smell the salty breeze of the sea and opened her eyes to see a crack in the air forming before it shattered to reveal a swirling hole the size the hand, peering he eye she saw her brother's back as he walked on the sea towards the island with the skull. She then threw something through the hole.

SPLASH

Naruto's head whirled around to see her eyes poking from the crack in the air and look on with shock and disbelief and she heard him whispering, "I must be seeing things, because there was no way that's- "

Before he could believe that he saw her, multiple cannons were fired in his directions and Naruto moved away, breaking the fragile connection she had on him.

"No!" Tama groaned in frustration before she heard a voice in her head. "Looking for your brother, huh?"

Tama then looked at her shoulder and let out a startled scream as she saw a small critter jump off her shoulder from her outburst and reappear in dark smoky energy at the top of her desk that hissed at her outburst before becoming solid.

"Wow" Tama whispered before she poked the little fur ball that was once a raging beast that caused destruction and forests to bloom, "You are much cuter than before!"

Nue looked the same as before, but he had shrunken down to the size of a ferret and stared at her with intelligent yellow before it growled out, "Girl... I am hungry... FEED ME!"

Tama frowned before she picked Nue by the scruff of his neck and told him off, "First, my name is Tama! And what exactly do I feed you?"

Tama then yelped in pain when Nue bit her thumb and turned into a shadowy smoke that floated in the room and asked, "Chakra... Feed me, chakra, you have it, right?"

Tama frowned before she remembered her brother's specific instructions to be really careful with Nue and her chakra as she hasn't had any training.

The only current exercise she could have right now was the leaf concentration exercise from the letter in, and she could barely even do it. She had to first sense the chakra within her and then learn how to produce it by combining spiritual energy and physical energy...

Naruto told her if she mastered this, he will send other exercises through a special communication method that he hadn't disclosed. But that will only happen if he survived the fight and escapes Wano with a crew.

Tama then closed her eyes and began searched for the warm feeling inside her, all the while ignoring the yellow eyes that stared at her and glittered with anticipation. Suddenly she felt a small flicker of warmth within her body and she smiled before she tried to push it to her right hand fingers. She opened her eyes, seeing a flaming blue energy flickering on her fingers and it was being tugged and absorbed by Nue, who started to grow.

It was the worst timing when Shinobu entered her room to see Nue growing bigger at Tama's hands. Immediately Shinobu was in between them with her hands full of kunai's and staring at Nue's delighted face.

"What the hell are you doing out of your seal?" Shinobu asked with a suspicious voice, "Naruto-sama told me you shouldn't be out of that seal on Tama's neck!"

Nue just stared at Shinobu impassively before it finished its growth spurt as it grew to the size of a household cat, and Tama began to feel a bit tired.

Nue then locked eyes with Tama and sent his thoughts in gibbering strings of words that Tama could somehow understand their meaning and began to explain to Shinobu with a scared look.

"He said that he was drawn out by the darkness," Tama translated the feelings and words, "It's something he had drawn out those negative..."

"Not happening!" snapped Shinobu in protest as she stood in front of Tama protectively.

The next thoughts that came from Nue made Tama go pale. "Because I have no choice!"

"And why is that?" challenged Shinobu with a scowl as she prepared to fight the cat size Nue who looking at her with his yellow eyes impassively before beginning to shrink until he was much smaller than before and dissipated to his smoky form and returned to the seal. Tama felt her senses locking on someone's negative emotions and a bright purple smokey light flooded around her and the world turned upside down, and Tama almost blacked out.

When she could see straight again, she was in a very fancy room that had a pavilion that overlooked a place that was extremely busy street, despite how late it was. The two people in the room rose at once, gawking at her in astonishment. Behind them was a railing that overlooked a bustling and nightly street that must be an officials town. As she only saw rich merchants and civilians going around.

Whatever Nue had done to shoot her across the country, it wasn't good for Tama's stomach. She could barely control her nausea, but she wasn't so lucky. She then ran to the nearest railing and threw up, before asking the people with stunned faces in a polite voice, "My name is Tama. Can you please tell me where I am?"

A beautiful woman approached Tama, then kneeled and consoled her.

"My name is Komurasaki!" the woman whispered. "You're currently in the flower capital! Is there anything I can do to help you?"

"Oh, well, you were my brother's employer..." Tama said in relief before smiling at the surprised faces, "His name is Naruto, do you know where he is right... oh come on no-"

Tama then dumps the rest of her dinner on the beautiful blue-haired lady kimono.

"Wake up!" a voice warned Naruto.

Naruto's eyes snapped at voice and his instincts kicked in and grabbed the edge of a ledge with his weapon less hand, stopping himself falling through a hole that opened a fall to the Live Floor below them. Naruto then pulled himself upwards with a heave and then looked up to the battlefield.

He found Kaido's legs sticking out from the rubble he was buried within. Smirking at the hilarious sight, Naruto tried to get to his feet, before his body gave out and he fell face first, hacking a large amount of blood. The pain he was now feeling was like his inwards had been liquefied briefly before being solidified from the explosion.

"The explosion force from the mixture has raged havoc on my body," Naruto summed up before he began to cough more blood out as he remembered the previous times it happened, "This reaction between Haki and Chakra became more violent when I used sage mode. Is the combination of energies creating a mixture of energy so powerful and unstable? Is that why it keeps exploding inside my chakra system?"

The answer was obvious with all his experiences during clashes like these and the current explosion.

"If that is true, then the reason I struggle to use Haki, because the combination of energies is too powerful for my body... So, I can only use Haki or Chakra without the other," Naruto realized with a dread as he felt his chakra network

Naruto pushed himself upward with a heave and saw Kaido erupting out from the rubble.

"Ow... " came a booming voice from the large man before he began to chuckle and exploded with laughter

"Wororororororo!" Kaido laughed in delight before giving him a bloody smile and complimented him, "That's more like it brat... That one really hurt."

Naruto just stared at him impassively before he looked at his sword and sheathed it, realizing his current level of swordsmanship limited his movements and options, so he should only use it when he is certain that he can strike Kaido with a powerful slash.

"How did you do that explosion?" Kaido marvelled as he held a hand over his body and felt the pain coursing through it. "I know the one you did with King wasn't that strong!"

"We were both struck by the explosion" Naruto tells him as he enters a stance reserved frog Kata, his body already entering Sage Mode, "Why don't we continue this fight and find out again?"

Naruto just watched Kaido's smile grow wider before he muses the look at Naruto's and shakes his head, saying, "It's a shame to have you killed, but when you lose and somehow survive, you will be captured."

Naruto ignored Kaido's words before remembering the feeling when he held Enma and focused on it and the burning pain started to spread across his right arm where Sage Chakra was mixing with Armament Haki. He was currently building up the most amount of the mixture of Haki and Sage Chakra within his arm.

At this moment a memory was relayed to Naruto from a dispelled clone, making sigh in relief and think with a glad smile, "Maybe I won't die tonight... and Yamato will be free."

-Five Minutes Ago-

Yamato looked at the key, which was still too hot to touch, and then looked at Naruto, who was smiling.

"It was difficult with all the shaking and the vibration from upstairs, but I know this will work!"

"We're almost there!" Yamato whispered in a happy and excited voice, "I will finally be free like Oden!"

"Let me take these off!" Naruto tells her with a grin, "I promised you! That I will be the one freeing you from here!"

Yamato's face became extremely nervous and worried as she thought about her threats and warnings.

"Just in case to be safe throw them far away..." said Yamato's in anxious voice, "Though I don't think they'll explode, my father isn't that cold-hearted."

Naruto just fits the key in the keyhole of the cuffs and turns it clockwise slowly.

THUNK

CLATTER

"They came off!" Yamato gasped in shock as she saw the cuffs fall off other hands and onto the floor. Immediately Naruto kicked it away, and they flew away far from them and landed in the corridor. After a couple of tense seconds, the cuffs did not explode and Naruto breathed out a sigh of relief.

"See there was nothing to worry-" Naruto was cut off by Yamato hugging him, all the while tears had begun to stream out her eyes, tears of happiness and sadness, as Yamato felt she was finally free from her shackles but not of her past and lineage.

Naruto then slowly unlatches Yamato's arm and tells her in a serious expression, "Yamato, I will need a ship... A ship that can handle the waterfall and is fast enough to escape your father's forces."

"I will see what I can do!" Yamato tells him before saying, "I will go pack my things. You said we will need to travel light, so I will only take a few clothes and stuff."

"Wait, Yamato, can you wear the cuffs again?" Naruto asked her with a hint of warning.

Yamato scowled before whispering in anger, "Why? I just got freed from them after-"

"We can't raise suspicion that you can remove your cuffs now," Naruto tells her with a flat stare before throwing her the key, "Once you reach the harbor and secure a ship with Page One and Ulti, I will dispel myself to tell my original to come over."

"Oh, you really thought this through?" Yamato said with a raised an eyebrow, "I nominate you to be the captain of the crew!"

Naruto snorts before telling her, "That was always the plan, Oni-Princess."

The clone then walked over to the boxes of devil fruit and inspected them. One fruit catches his eye as it was round and somewhat flat with an orange exterior, resembling a persimmon. There were four other devil fruits in there, one was yellow and two of them were green and brown. The last was seemingly the plainest of them all, as it was white.

Naruto then closed the lid of the box, bites his thumb to draw blood and then weaves a sequence of hand signs before slamming his hand and muttering. "Summoning Jutsu: Uzumaki Iron Box."

The summoning formulae expanded under his hand onto the ground, summing the wooden box, Naruto dropped the box filled with Devil Fruits within the iron box and seals it away before dispelled himself and the box, leaving Yamato alone as she held the key that signified her current freedom and choice.

"What are you smiling about?" Kaido asked in a rough tone before he swung his club, creating a huge shockwave that pushed Naruto back a bit before racing towards Naruto and swing towards him horizontally.

"Thunder Bau- agh!"

Kaido was cut off by a kick to the chin by Naruto which he shrugged, but the blonde has now vaulted over his head and began to wrap his arms around Kaido's neck in a chokehold. Kaido's face turned to one of surprise as he felt his airways being cut off.

"GET! OFF! ME!" Kaido shouted before he transformed into a dragon which Naruto was now riding, as he stood on top of his snout with an evil grin before delivering a dropkick towards his left eye.

Kaido's roar of pain shook the entire island as he violently thrashed Naruto off his body in a violent crash and transformed back into his normal form as he held the burning eye and blinked it rapidly.

Kaido then growled out as he searched for his opponent, "Dirty little... Where did he go?"

Kaido then used his Observation Haki to sense Naruto, and he sensed him hurtling towards him in the air.

Kaido then looked upwards and saw a strange sight. His opponent's right arm was covered in a black coating that was used in hardening through Armament Haki, but there were glowing white cracks forming and spreading on the black coating.

"Interesting" Kaido thought before he took the attack head on with a grin.

SMASH

The fist made contact and a powerful blast of energy was expelled from it and Kaido felt it overpower his stature as it sent a powerful shockwave that cracked and tore apart the battlefield.

Kaido was sent face first into the ground, breaking apart the stone below them. Cracks formed on the ground around them as the stone crumbled away on the base of the hollow skull dome and they began to fall. Kaido lashed out and grabbed Naruto's foot despite his blinding pain and ringing head and grinned before he threw him down to the live floor with all his might.

His opponent surprised expression was laughable as he hurtled through the air before crashing into a building which collapsed on impact and buried him underneath wooden rubble. Kaido then hit the ground with an earth-shaking impact that left a vast hole which was the size and the shape of him.

"Do you know you are an idiot!" Page One said in a deadpanned expression as he looked at his sister, who had stuffed her bags with clothes and books and teddy bears. It seemed his sister had half of her belongings now packed into a couple of bulging suitcases.

"What?" Ulti huffed with an annoyed tick mark on her face. "This is light! I barely brought anything with me!"

"Ulti, you heard him. We are supposed to travel with few stuff in order to look like we have been kidnapped!" Page One advised with a shaking head, "Once they see how much you have packed, they will be thinking who on earth packs for a kidnapping?!"

"Okay, what did you pack?" Ulti said as she rolled her eyes at her brother, who had packed a couple of clothes, two log poses, one for the new world, while the other was paradise. In his hands he had a handheld astrolabe along with a compass that was useless in the grand line. He also had his favorite fishing rod. But there was a certain thing missing from her brother's possessions.

Ulti just chuckles at her brother before pinching his ear and hissed at his ears despite the yelps, "You forgot something important!"

"What? I am sure I packed for everything!" Page One yelps as he struggled to remove his sister's fingers away from his ear.

"You forgot something you use in your fights," Ulti snarled out in frustration. "Don't tell me your forgot to pack your axe! Can you be responsible for once?"

"Thats rich coming from you, sis!" Page One tells her with an annoyed look on her face as he stopped resisting. "Besides, where is your weapon?"

"Hand to hand combat is better for me!" Ulti tells him cheerfully as she releases him from her grasp. "That morning-star club just slows me down! The fight with Ace-san and his crew taught me that!"

Page One opens his mouth for retort when the entire Skull Dome shook violently as something hit through the top floor. Both siblings looked outside the mansion to see a large hole in the roof that showed the sky and the moon. On the live floor, one of the buildings had caved in and a hole that Kaido definitely created when he crashed onto the earth.

Ulti then looked at her brother with wide eyes and said in a nervous squeak, "I knew he was tough, but was he always this strong?"

Page One just shakes his head before he feels the battle with his Observation Haki, despite his sister's better grasp on it. Page One could sense the two battered and bruised but alive people from the voices he sensed on the battlefield.

-Flower Capitol-

Tama's current decision might not have been the best one, but she blamed Nue for it. Okay, she may have failed to follow her brother's instructions with the mark on her neck... But it wasn't her fault she began trying to use the mark when she wanted to find her brother. If she wasn't going to get her younger body back at all, then she must use this body to its upmost to support and help her brother.

And it led to Tama being in a mansion that was not in any of the villages and in the heart of Wano of capital.

"So, you are Narutomaki's sister?" said the blue-haired Orian as she peered closely at her with suspicion. "You don't look like him,"

"We aren't by related by blood," Tama explained in a stiff voice, "We share a guardian who raised me and tried to keep my big brother out of trouble!"

"But that obliviously failed!" a voice said behind Komurasaki, "But what I want to know is how the hell did a teenage girl like you just appear in the middle of the night?"

Tama then tried her best to recall the past hour she was in and began to explain.

Hiyori's eyes softened at the young girl told her tale.

"You okay there?" the ghostly silhouette voiced asked in his mind.

"I will be okay," Naruto grunted in pain before pushing away the rubble he was buried under with his left hand and emerged on an empty live floor. Naruto then looked at the mansion where his clone had freed Yamato from her shackles by creating a duplicate key.

"Now all we have to do is get out of here," Naruto whispered as he saw a Kaido's hand erupt from the chasm in the ground. Kaido then pulled himself out of the chasm, groaning in pain.

Naruto immediately hid behind a pillar and suppressed his chakra and powered down from Sage Mode.

"Now no one should be able to sense me," Naruto thought in relief as he used the Chakra Suppression Jutsu, "But the downside is I won't be able to use Chakra for jutsu or I will be sensed by Kaido's Observation Haki."

Naruto then took a closer look at Kaido and saw on the side of his head had a gash that was bleeding profusely. The red blood from the wound dripping into the ground in large droplets.

Kaido was staggering around in a daze before muttering to himself, "I never felt a punch hurt this much ever since that old fart Garp punched me in God's Valley!"

Naruto felt like the plan worked at the cost of his left arm, which now hung loosely by his side. He then inspected his own left arm and saw it had been mangled by the powerful punch. It was entirely discolored with bruises and there were definitely some broken bones in there, along with some torn muscles. He could move it and clench it, but it kept creating jolts of pain throughout his arm and to his shoulder.

Suddenly, the ghostly silhouette appeared next to him and looked at him before sighing and asked him with a concerned voice, "Do you need help?"

"Other times I will say no," Naruto told him with a tired expression, "But this time I am back in a corner and my left arm is fucked up."

"Good, then you would need my help, right?" the silhouette asked him with a nod. "Whatever you do! Please do not use that jutsu now."

"Well, that's not your decision," Naruto told him with a shaking head. "It's the backup plan in case everything fails!"

"And when you do that and die, who will go after Black Zetsu!" snapped the silhouette in anger before it looked at the surprised expression on Naruto's face and told him, "Our revenge on him is the most important thing going for me!"

Naruto just slumped to the ground and stared at the silhouette and asked him in a hushed voice, "Who the hell are you? I am sure Black Zetsu killed everyone by killing Sasuke. Which made me free anyone from the Divine Tree impossible..."

"Yes, you are the sole survivor!" agreed the silhouette angrily, "That pain and anger you felt when you realized everyone was gone after Sasuke's death brought me back! When Nue attacked you, he pulled me out and woke me up from your buried feelings."

The silhouette started to become clearer, and Naruto immediately recognized the person in an instant. He had the same face as him along with the same build, same clothes, even the same whiskers, but their eyes were different. This person had black sclera and red eyes.

"It was you!?" gasped Naruto in surprise. "All Along?"

Dark Naruto just shrugged before saying, "Disappointed, huh?"

Naruto's just sighed at the negativity exuding from his dark side.

"So, why did you come back?" Naruto asked him with a raised eyebrow, "I thought you entrusted me with everything at the waterfall of truth!"

"Well, because you failed to save everyone!" snapped Dark Naruto as his red eyes glared bitterly at him, "I was reborn from the pain you carry every day. The pain and hate you hide, but act on sometimes!"

Naruto just stared at the dark version of himself and sighed before asking him, "If you are sticking around, should I call you Dark me?"

Dark Naruto just snorted before telling him, "I am here to help... Here is what I can do. The first choice is for you to hand over your body to me while you mentally rest, or you can give me a shadow clone!"

"A Shadow Clone, shouldn't be a problem for me!" Naruto told his dark self.

"So, what's your plan?" asked Dark Naruto.

"Well, I need a way to get off this island and into the seas with the others!" Naruto told him before "But I can't have Kaido or his crew following us!"

"Well, I have an idea!" said Dark Naruto with a grin. "Dad's Jutsu!"

Naruto frowned with before saying, "You mean Lord Second's Jutsu?!"

"I know he invented the Flying Rajin!" Dark Naruto snapped before sighing, "Dad just improved the Jutsu to a new level and was more efficient with it!"

"You are forgetting something," Naruto tells him with a shaking head, "I can't do that jutsu. I haven't figured out how to shrink and compress technique formula so it can be easily used like Lord Second and Dad did it!"

"But you don't need to do that!" his Dark Self tells him with a grin, "That's space-time Jutsu is based on the Summoning technique... So reverse Summoning Jutsu should work!"

"And who will do that, while someone distracts Kaido and his crew?" Naruto told him with a glare, "You know, all contracted summing's animals are dead thanks to Black Zetsu. If there is no Contracted Animal, the seal will have to be made from scratch to summon me there."

"A clone!" Dark Naruto says with a shrug before becoming nervous, "You will have to be facing the monster behind you!"

"No... I got a better idea. The stunt Kisame and Itachi pulled on us-" Naruto shook his head before he froze in his tracks and paled, "He is behind me, isn't he?"

Dark Naruto just nodded before disappearing into the thin air as a gigantic shadow was cast behind Naruto. Naruto's eyes widened before his shoulder slumped as a tired look of dreaded acceptance crossed his face as Kaido swing his club.

Naruto felt his body crumpling as he felt his body explode with pain as something struck his chest with the force of a Tailed Beast Bomb. Naruto heard a loud crack echoing through his body, and his knowledge of the human told him that his ribs hadn't only just cracked; they had been shattered like ice under the sheer force of the attack.

There was another blue blur at the edge of his vision. A split second later, a club streaked with black and red lightning came closer as it was held by a blue blur.

"Conqueror of Three Worlds Ragnaraku!" Kaido yelled as he slammed the club at Naruto.

Naruto's body slammed into the ground, cracking it and sending out tremors through the earth and shaking the entire island.

The blonde lied there unmoving for a moment before he coughed out a copious amount of blood and tried to ignore the pain coursing through his body. In the corner of his eyes, Naruto saw a much larger Kaido, who now had bulging muscles covered in blue scales. These scales covered his arms, outer torso, back, and even the legs that now had claws. Kaido now had six horns protruding from his head, similar to the ones he had when he was a dragon. His spiked kanabo was grasped by the claws on the hands, and a long scaly coiling tail trailed behind him.

Naruto rolled on his stomach and, in vain, tried to get on his knees before they buckled away, and he fell face first into the puddle of his own blood and as his vison got darker before he began to pass out.

"Not yet!" Naruto whispered in protest despite his broken body, "I just need one thing!"

"Shit..." Page One said in fear as he attempted to rush back into his room once he saw the beat down done in two moves. "Forget it, what we can do against "

"I thought I'd ever agreed with you this much, Pay-Pay!" Ulti squawked as she saw the bloody mess in the crater.

She turned around and slammed into a clueless and vibrant Yamato. Ulti immediately tried to usher Yamato away from seeing this. But Yamato was larger than her and ignored Ulti resistance as she reached the edge of the railing and saw her transformed father standing above the broken form of Naruto.

Yamato's vibrant face turned into one of fear as she felt Naruto's weakening and fading voice with her Observation Haki and screamed out, "NO! FATHER! STOP! PLEASE DON'T!"

Immediately, the siblings ducked away and scurried away inside of the castle to avoid Kaido's rounding head and hid behind Yamato.

"Yamato..." Kaido's voice rumbled like an echoing thunder through the Skull Dome and snapped at her, "I am saying this once, stay out of it!"

Yamato took a step forward in defiance, which her father ignored, and then looked back at Naruto with an unreadable expression on his face.

Yamato felt her emotions were in jumbles and was unsure what she could do to help Naruto. Suddenly she saw a dark shadow fly across the sky dome interior and land next to her and hissed to Yamato, "Enough!"

Yamato glared at King's face in protest but was taken aback by King's red eyes. For once, they didn't hold any sense of apathy or boredom, but they held slight signs of interest as they looked at the foe who had pushed her father in a one-on-one battle to use his hybrid form.

"Don't worry!" King told her in a soft voice he only used towards her when he babysits her in her childhood before the whole Oden fiasco, "I will put in a request so your father won't kill him!"

"You think I will agree with that!" Queen's voice comes from behind them as he growls out in protest, "With Onyx and him around! If they train enough, they are bound to take our positions as All-Stars, King!"

King just snorts and rolls his eyes, "Oh, I know they will take you and Jack positions if they aim and train hard enough! Don't compare me to you two weaklings!"

Queen just snorts before muttering, "Not if I poison them!"

King just shrugs and says, "It's a fair game in this crew! But I recommend for you to start training again if you want to keep your position!"

Suddenly, a white flash landed between them and said in a dangerous tone, "Poison who?"

"No one!" Queen denies with an amused chuckle and straight face

"Good!" Onyx replied with a feral smile, "Because if you just said that to my face, I would have torn your throat out, you overgrown lizard!"

"It is the full moon tonight, Queen," Onyx warned in a dangerous voice. "And it will be a shame for a genius of your caliber to die tonight?"

Queen just glared at her before snorting at her, "Like you can do anything to this cybernetic brachiosaur... Remind me what devil fruit did you get out of that hoard?"

Onyx just sighed and told him, "I think it's better than yours, long neck! Do you know why the geisha run away from you?"

King snorts before covering a chuckle and a grin behind his hand and looked at an enraged, "She got you there!"

"Do you want me to shoot you with a new virus? I cooked up something new for my Excite bullets!" snarled Queen at both of them with a twitching face.

Yamato just ignored them and looked at her father staring at Naruto's downed body and sighed in relief when she saw him deactivating his Devil Fruit and face his subordinates with an excited grin and he threw his head back in laughter, "WORORORORORORORORORORORORORO!"

Kaido's echoing laugh causes cheers to explode across the gathering crowds.

"Kaido-san!"

"He had no chance!"

"Take him in!" Kaido's euphoric yell echoes across the skull dome, "We will have a celebration tonight!"

All across Onigashima, cheers and whoops of celebration and victory echoed as the crowd chanted, "Kaido-san! Kaido-san!"

Yamato just ignored the cheers as she held back choked sobs of despair as she saw a low-ranking subordinate approach Naruto with cuffs in his hands.

Suddenly all with Observation Haki in the room felt in their mind Naruto's voice surge before disappearing into nothing instantly.

"No..." moaned Yamato in despair as a horrified expression came on her face as she realized what had happened. A wail escaped from Yamato's mouth as she fell onto her knees as she realized Naruto's promise to her killed him. All the while, Kaido looked at the dead body and facepalmed himself and sigh, "Dammit, I overdid it!"

"This is a disaster!" Sukiyaki's as his yell echoes across the room, "How did Tama just disappear? She is just a child!"

"A child with unknown powers and abilities..." said Shinobu as she lowered her head before speaking up in a firm voice, "After what happened to her, Naruto-sama told me she could be able to do the things he could if she trained under him."

"But she is definitely not trained!" protested Sukiyaki as he buried his face into his hands and looks at Shinobu, "I know you taught her the basics of being a Kunoichi, but are you sure it's enough until we find her?"

"But can we even find her?" Ashura asked with a raised eyebrow, "There are no tracks or clues to follow!"

"So, the only one who can find her is Naruto?" guessed Tsuru before she closed her eyes and said, "Let's hope that thing doesn't take advantage of Tama before Naruto finds her."

"He is already fighting Kaido!" Sukiyaki protested. "He can't be burdened with more!

"I know!" Tsuru told him before pressing a palm to her forehead, "All the best we can do is follow Naruto's instructions on how to run this village, if Naruto doesn't contact us in the next hour, we are sending out a search party for Tama!"

"Agreed!" came the assenting voices around the advisory room.

"I will look for Kawamastu and ask for help!" Ashura says as he stood and left the room.

Naruto was sure he was dying. He could feel it and it was like the time when Kurama was extracted from his body during the Fourth Shinobi War... When Madara extracted Kurama from his body, Naruto felt like his soul being torn in half. The only difference here, the pain was fading away from his body.

Suddenly he was somewhere he least expected and looked around his surroundings and gave a sad smile as he whispered to himself, "It was a good run! But I still want to keep my promises... Sorry everyone..."

But Naruto ignored these feelings as he accepted his death before a relaxed look spread across his face as he realized he could see everyone soon.

"Sasuke! Toneri! Hinata! Sakura! Kakashi! Tenzo! Sai! Shikamaru! Neij!, Granny Tsunade! Mom! Dad! Pervy-Sage!" Naruto whispered out as a stray tear streamed down his face, "I am coming home!"

"No, you are not!" a voice protested in anger behind him, and Naruto looked behind himself and saw the cracks on the sewer walls where disappearing and the darkness within the seal faded away as red boiling chakra filled the sewer corridor, he was in.

Immediately Naruto realized the source of red chakra and yelled at his dark self in anger, "You didn't!"

"I had to!" Dark Naruto snapped. "There was no choice! We were going to die!"

"And you could have killed them!" Naruto yells angrily as he rushed towards the seal and to his surprise all the tailed beasts had concerned looks on their faces as they slumbered, before their tails lashed out and trickled their hard-earned chakra towards him.

"Hey! No, that's enough!" Protested Naruto as he felt the Tailed Beast chakra swirl around him, "You are going to sleep longer if you give me this much chakra!"

The only message he got back was from the message and thoughts sent through the chakra saying, "Just give us it back some of it one day!"

And Naruto's eyes snapped open back to reality and found himself being dragged away as he stared at Kaido's back, glancing sideways he saw the perplexed expressions of his before his hands lashed out as they were being covered with the red bubbly chakra of the Tailed Beasts chakra.

Kaido was feeling a bit disappointed. He had been granted the best fight he had in a decade by a fascinating opponent, and he didn't hold back in the last blow. Now he may have killed him...

His stupid subordinates haven't realized that as they pulled on the lifeless body of his and began dragging it away and something inside Kaido snapped in frustration.

"Can you treat him with more respect!" Kaido yelled at his subordinates in annoyance before facing away with a sigh, "The person you are holding was worth more to me than any of you can be in every lifetime you will ever live!"

"Was?" a minion of his echoed with surprise, "But he has a heartbeat?"

At those words, his Observation Haki recoiled as he saw in his mind a vision of the future that told him something red was hurtling towards him. Kaido's eyes widen as he saw a dark red shroud cover Naruto's body before it moved.

He immediately reacted to it and barely dodged the person shrouded in dark red energy from crashing into him. As the red blur flew past him, Kaido felt a splatter of blood across his face and looked around for the source of blood, only to see the people that held Uzumaki Naruto had their arms torn off and their necks twisted abnormally.

"Kaido-san!" Jack yells in warning towards Kaido as the entire the dome shook from impact as the red blur crashed a couple of hundred meters away from him and formed a new crater on impact, immediately sending all the weaklings flying away. Immediately, all of All-Stars were on guard as they reached for their weapons and the Tobiroppo began to shift their bodies into their hybrid forms and Onyx's body crackled with electricity as she took a step towards the crater.

Kaido just felt his excitement soar to new heights as he saw Uzumaki Naruto was shrouded in a red and bubbly shroud that shifted shape, for a moment the red cloak looked like a tanuki with a singular tail then a fox with nine tails and then a bull with eight tentacles. The red bubbling cloak range of shapes kept shifting through a rhinoceros beetle with six wings and a tail, a turtle with three tails, a cat with two tails, an ape with four tails, a horse with a dolphin face and seven tails.

Uzumaki Naruto then glared at them before uttering a challenge, "Your blows hurt less than Granny Rabbit, and if you are going to kill me, please try to kill me properly next time."

Naruto hadn't felt this great in a while as he felt the tailed beat chakra ease the pain in his body and strengthen it despite the injuries he felt. Suddenly, popping sounds and steam emitted from Naruto as his skin, muscle, and bones healed from the injuries delivered from Kaido's club. Before, the red cloak began regressing back into his body and Naruto closed his eyes and opened them. They were no longer blue or yellow and toad-like, Naruto's eye were now dark red with a thick line running through the cat like slit forming crossed irises.

These red eyes glared at the crowd before falling on Kaido and their owner muttered, "Your blows hurt less than Granny Rabbit, and if you are going to kill me, please try to kill me properly next time."

"Huh?" whispered Kaido, looked on with a flat face before asking in an incredulous and excited voice, "Are you being serious?"

"Oh Yeah I am..." Naruto told him with a grin and looks at them. "I am alive and well, and I will not be explaining how I did it."

Naruto's red eyes then glared at the amused phantom hovering next to his side before searching all over the gathered crowd. And saw Page One and Ulti behind Yamato and sent the group a mental message.

"You three should start running out of here!" Naruto says as their minds telepathically communicated and then orders them, "Secure a ship while I distract the others."

"Wait! Why is your voice in my head?" came the confused and surprised telepathic message in his head.

Naruto was about to respond when Who-Who closed in towards him with a face full of glee as he shouts, "Blade Pistol!"

Who-Who thrusts his dagger forward repeatedly, launching a series of sharp, compressed air projectiles that flew towards Naruto.

Naruto dodged them with ease, sprang into the air as he dodged and formed a cross with fingers and shouted at the top of his lungs, "Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu!"

And Chaos exploded across the battlefield as thousands of Naruto rushed towards Kaido and his crew. The two armies slammed into each other with for a moment, before the clones began to pop and dispel from the onslaughts of attacks. Through the smoke and dust of the battle, Naruto grabbed Kaido's arm as he was about to mow down half of his army of clones with a single swing. Naruto began pouring the most amount of the Sage tailed Beasts Charka within his arms and heaved with all his might.

Kaido's feet lifted from the ground as he was thrown off into the air towards the hole in the skull dome ceiling. Naruto joined him by bending his knees and with a snapping motion he was already trailing behind Kaido as he hurtled through the air with an ever-growing grin while his body shifted into the dragon hybrid form.

They landed on the exterior edges of the hole in the Skull Dome and looked down at the battle.

"Your crew are doing better than I thought, I never thought many people can land a blow on me or my clones..." Naruto muttered as his clones army began to thin out under the onslaught of attacks that included waves of flames, barrage of lasers, a storm of electricity, a spinning elephant trunk, threads of hard web, biting shockwaves, a rotating drill sword, poisoned fangs, many pointed legs, and a huge mouth that ripped rows of heads with one chomp.

"Well, I don't let weaklings join my crew!" Kaido snorted as he looked at Naruto with an amused expression, "And you are the perfect candidate!"

He was answered by incoming a black fist with glowing white cracks that snapped his head backwards. Kaido stumbled backwards on the powerful blow that contains enough destructive power that could even hurt him in dragon-hybrid form.

Looking at his opponent's arm and expecting it to be damaged and broken just like last the time his, Kaido was shocked to see the arm steaming and healing as it repaired the damage rapidly. He was then met with a kick to a chin contain the same power as it cracked his jaw. Already healed from the self-destructive mixture of energy, the foot stamped the ground as Naruto clutched a sword and unsheathed in a fast swing while he imbued the sword with the same energy that was now hurting Kaido.

Immediately Kaido grinned as he blocked the sword from slicing him with a hardened kanabo imbued with Armament Haki and Conqueror Haki. Using his Observation Haki to look in the instant future, Kaido disappeared along with Naruto and reappeared in a ringing clash in mid-air that sent powerful shockwaves across the Wano region. Disengaging from their clash mid-air, both warriors disappeared again in a blitz of speed and reappeared again swinging their weapons.

-Live Floor-

"This is ridiculous..." said King as he swung his sword down and cutdown a clone in half before it popped and muttered, "I mean what is the point in him and his clones fighting us... What do you think, Queen?"

King then looked at Queen, who was cackling with a wild look as easily mowing down a group of clones with multiple explosive lasers. King then sighed and then looked at Jack charging headfirst into a crowd of clones stomping on them and smacking them with his trunk. Suddenly, the smell of ozone filled the air as a blitzkrieg of electricity spreads through the clones, shocking them before they popped.

"Whatever he is doing isn't worth it!" Onyx shouted across the battlefield as she slammed a clone down before puncturing it with her sharp claws. "It seems a waste of time and energy for him. But with each clone is down, all of them fight more efficiently."

"You are right!" Black Maria nodded as she moved in to save one of her subordinates, who was being overwhelmed by a group of clones before she interfered. She immediately blocked an incoming attack with her bo-staff and swung her fist that was covered in knuckle brasses across the clone face.

Sasaki then propelled himself through the shadow clone's defences and smashing them apart. He then swung his drill like sword around, carving up another a section of the clone group that was barraging them with punches, kicks, swords, and swirling spheres that carved and ground against them.

King then narrowed his eyes as he saw three of the Tobiroppro attack a clone. There was something different about this clone. The clone had blood red irises and black sclera that glowed with murderous intent as it moved with rampage. There was already a mound of corpses piling up in a puddle of blood that was being crushed under his heels. He dodged Who-Who biting shockwaves and kicks that sent lashes of air blades towards him. He dodged the war hammer aimed for his head by a hybrid Jo-Jette. The feeling the clone gave differed from Uzumaki Naruto or the surrounding clones.

The clone simply hunted down the weakest opponents as he passively dodged the Tobiroppo or headliner attacks against him and just punched through their bodies and tore apart their body wildly with a cold, focused anger. In fact, he just shoved a katana that he disarmed from an enemy into a person's mouth and left it there before digging his fingers into another enemy's throat and tore it out.

At this sight, it was obvious what needed to be done. The Tobiroppo, Headliners and All-Stars, along with Onyx, rushed and aimed their attacks toward at the biggest threat in the battlefield in one motion.

Lasers, biting shockwaves, a flaming bo-staff, flying slashes from swords, and blunt shockwaves from clubs and hammers converged on the threat. There was a brief dull surprise from Naruto as he was barraged by the attacks before rising his arms to block the attacks.

Their attacks landed on him, creating a tremendous blast that took out the rest of the clone army, with a couple of their weaker members.

Once the dust settled down, King saw an enormous amount of blood pooling around the sole survivor as blood gushed out from the missing left of Naruto's side.

"So you must be the original?" asked King as he looked at the injured Naruto who hadn't dispelled back to smoke and told him, "There is no way you are a fake, I am sure."

King just got a silent glare from his injured enemy and pointed his sword breaker katana towards Naruto and told him.

"I already figured your cloning powers. There is a limit on how much you can divide yourself. The clones can be forcibly dispelled with a good blow," King said before continuing his analysis, "Compared to the original, they can't bust big moves but as whittled down the numbers the clones seemingly to learn from the ones who were dispelled, and they seemed to have more of that blue energy and power."

King just looked at the surprised expression on his enemy and continued on

"You split stamina and that energy among the clones equally, every time one of those gets dispelled." King said as he shared his thoughts with the crowd, "All of you learn the information gained from the dead clone and gain back a trickle of energy from the killed clone, isn't that right?"

"You are correct," admitted Naruto with a chuckle, "Gee... No wonder you are Kaido's right-hand man!"

The chuckle brought King a bit of unease as he stared at Naruto's dark red eyes and told him, "Give up... Kaido-san wants you alive. I can't have you the original dying..."

King just stopped once he saw the bloody grin on Naruto's face.

"Who said I am the original or even a clone?!" whispered Naruto with a smile before his body collapsed and remained unmoving.

Immediately cries of surprise as the body began to change its height and width along with its features as it transformed into someone that made people frown. The body held the same injuries as the person it was. Surprisingly, it was someone King recognized but could not recall his name.

"Is that one of your subordinate Scapone?" Queen asked with astonishment as he checked the dead body for any signs of abnormality, "This is literally impossible, It's the first time I seen body modification that changed the aura and appearance of a person on this level."

"Wait, he is still alive!" Black Maria pointed out as she saw Scapone's subordinate eyes flicker with the faintest signs of life as he began coughing out blood.

Immediately, Kind held the guy by his neck, snarling, "Explain!"

"I couldn't do... he forced... took my body over... shifted it and use it like it was his..." The dying subordinate wheezed out "But I could hear his thoughts sometimes..."

A horrified look crossed the subordinate face before he began shouting in a raspy voice, "TRAP! IT'S A TRAP! HE IS PLANNING TO-gurgle!"

The subordinate word was cut off as he was killed by a thrown Kunai that scored the back of his head. Looking at the projectile direction, King found the amused eyes that had black sclera and red irises. Uzumaki Naruto, or a clone of his, stood alone on the balcony of Kaido's mansion and clapped his hands.

Six clones were immediately conjured around them in a circular formation. King then realized almost all the crew was within the circular formation and shouts in warning, "Scatter!"

But it was too late as the clones shouted out their jutsu, "Ninja Art: Six Teal Shadow Formation!"

Blue shimmering energy exploded out of the group of clone's hands as they erected a shimmering blue wall that conjoined into a spherical barrier trapping all the elites of the crew inside. Kind immediately punched the barrier only for his hand to bounce off harmlessly.

"Let me try!" Queen growled out as his cybernetic arm pulsed with light before it fired a beam of laser on the blue barrier. The laser was instantly reflected towards Queen.

BOOM!

An ashy Queen emerged from the plume of smoke and glared at the laughing clones who were holding the barrier.

"It's useless," chuckled the Naruto on the balcony, "But seriously, didn't you guys feel something was off in there? I mean, 30% of this clone chakra was sent into that guy as I remote controlled him and shapeshifted his body! I couldn't fight all of you by myself... So, the plan was to trap you in this barrier until I leave."

Suddenly a clone came and told him, "Enough with the monologue... That's for the bad guys to do!"

"But I am the bad guy!" protested the other clone, "I mean, I am your dark side..."

"That follows my orders and allowed to take over a clone and appointed you the leader in this battle."

The clone snapped at Dark Naruto, "You know what the real aim is, don't you?"

Dark Naruto then dispelled. The clone then turned around and jumped from the balcony and told the clone, holding up the barrier, "Keep them in here!"

"Of course," a clone muttered but then told him, "But it's taxing to keep this up!"

"How long can you keep it up, then?" asked Naruto with folded arms. "It needs to be held long enough..."

"A half of an hour the most!" grunted the clone as he growled out, "Less if they keep attacking it!"

Naruto then looked at the barrier and couldn't see beyond the barrage of attacks on the interior surface of the barrier.

Naruto began walking away from the skull dome and to the harbor where an ecstatic Yamato was being held back by Page One and Ulti from entering a ship rowed with high end cannons from Wano's factories.

He then closed his eyes, and the sclera turned black, signifying Dark Naruto was in control.

"Now do any of you know how to sail this stuff?" Dark Naruto asked them as Yamato removed her shackles while giving him strange looks.

Page One just nodded and said, "I can navigate this ship in theory, but practically I would need a lot of help with the mast. A ship like this needs at least twelve people to operate."

"Twelve people, that not much..." Dark Naruto said as he crossed his fingers.

Yamato looked like she wanted to say something, but stopped when Dark Naruto turned and asked her, "What is it?"

Yamato's orange eyes glittered suspiciously as she asked him, "Are you really Naruto?!"

"What makes you say that!?" Ulti asked her in a surprised voice, "I know he can do clones and the original is fighting your dad at the top-"

"Ulti, use your Observation Haki properly!" snapped Yamato as she glared at Dark Naruto, "Naruto gives the feeling of the sun, he feels warm and nice and most of all easy to read but here he feel like a distant star that's difficult to feel and see, also his dialect is proper here."

"Go on..." Dark Naruto said without a care in the world, "Describe it!"

"It's difficult to understand," Yamato told her with narrowed eyes, "but he is focused like he has a singular goal..."

"Well, it seems, this Kozuki Oden is smarter than I gave a credit for!" snorted Dark Naruto before chuckling darkly, "The original will hate this but it's true I have a single goal... but also the first thing I need is allies, which means I need you to be alive and free from here. Me and other me have goals that coincide, just different ethics and morals on how to execute them."

Page One then felt the creeps as Dark Naruto gave them a bitter smile, "A word of advice from me, just try not to think you understand and know who Naruto is!"

"What the hell do you mean by that?" Ulti growled out in anger.

"Look at me," Dark Naruto said slyly, "I am on the other side of Naruto. Reborn from his negative emotions, he suppresses and ignores. Just know this we are both the sides of the same coin."

Suddenly Naruto's hand slapped over his mouth before Naruto's voice came out of it.

"Just shut up and go back!" Naruto said in irritation and forced came out of it, "It's not your place to interfere with our relationships..."

"Well I warned you," Dark Naruto said ominously towards the stunned trio of horned people before, "And try to keep them around this time!"

The dark red eyes fade away and turn blue that were filled with annoyance. Naruto then jumped on board of the ship and shouted out to them, "Let's go! I will be explaining the plan once we set sail."

"Can I ask-" Yamato began before she was cut off by Naruto.

"We need to leave now! I am literally holding back a dam of enemies from attacking us when we leave this territory." Naruto told them before lowering the plank.

Page One joined Naruto, before he was followed by his sister and Yamato.

-Flower Capital-

Tama finally finished her tale to her hosts before Nue appeared on top of her head no larger than a squirrel and told her, "I sense your brother! Are you willing for another trip?"

"No!" Tama yelled as she scurried away from Nue and hid behind Hiyori, "What you did was horrible!"

"Oh, come on!" Nue told her with a snarl, "If it wasn't for that woman's negative emotions! I would have not teleported you here! If you delay any, your brother will be out of range!"

"Fine!" Mumbled Tama before Hiyori grasped her arm and told her, "Wait. I want you to hand something for your brother from me."

"I just know my brother will freak out when he sees me, this far from the village!" Tama whispers.

"Well, I guess I will tell your brother to go easy on you!" Hiyori told her before ruffling the girl's hair.

-Wano Sea-

Being on a boat again was weird. The last time Naruto was on a boat was during a week voyage to the island turtle Genbu near the Land of Lightning shores.

He was taken there to be hidden away from the Fourth Ninja War and to learn how to harness and tame the chakra of Kurama. After he did that, he was tricked by Aoba into thinking that his S-rank mission was to recruit all the island animals in order to form an animal combat unit for the war, all to keep him away from the war. He soon busted out of the island after finding the mission was a sham.

Now this boat was more complex than the one he had taken for the voyage, but Page One said he could handle navigating it, while Yamato sat at the helm wheel with excited, sparkling eyes as they left the harbour and to the treachery waters.

"Follow the wind, Yamato!" yelled Page One over the howling winds and violent waves around the island. "Don't let us get stuck in the whirlpool current..."

Yamato spun the helm wheel, and the entire ship tilted sideways and nearly capsized, before immediately reversing her actions.

"Stop it before you kill us!" Ulti screeched before elbowing Yamato out of the way and grabbed the helm wheel and steadied the ship towards the waterfall and he sighed in relief, "Okay, that was close!"

Naruto ignored them as he began writing on the wooden planks with a seal. As fast as he could and with no mistakes, Naruto wrote an array of kanji and symbols to form a Reverse Sealing Jutsu to summon the original back here. If there was anything wrong with the seal, the consequence could be a minor, like teleporting yourself towards the place of the person you intended to summon or just a disaster by trapping the person you are summoning into the wrong space-time coordinates. They could teleport directly into a wall, or outer space, or another dimension.

But he could hardly concentrate on the seal, not because of the waves or the rocky boat, but by the squabbling females who were at each other throats.

"BOTH OF YOU CUT IT OUT!" Naruto yelled at Ulti and Yamato, "I AM TRYING TO CONCETRATE HERE!"

"She started it! / She started it!" Yamato and Ulti chorused at the same time before glaring at each other before both reached for the other collars.

"You got anything to say, Yamato!" Ulti growled out in annoyance.

"Bro-con!" Yamato told her with a sly smile as she watched Ulti face turn red and growl out.

"What did you say, Oden Cosplayer!" Ulti snapped back.

"I am Oden!" Yamato hotly said, "And I will be him until the day I die!"

"And I am not a Bro-con." Ulti huffed as she glared at Yamato before muttering, "I just love Pay-Pay like how an older sister does! Don't you agree with me Pay-Pay!"

"Leave me out of this!" Page One tells her as he looked at the ocean before whirling around them in panic. "Hard to Port. We are in trouble!"

Naruto then looked up and saw the problem. There was a waterspout coming towards them, ignoring it as Ulti took the helm wheel while he continued to write the Reverse Summoning Seal when the Snail Tanashi on him began to ring.

"Pru-Pru-Pru-Pru-Pru-Pru!" the snail Tanshi rang out, silencing the crew as Naruto took it out of his kimono and answered, "Clacha!"

"What is it?" Naruto asked with a deep frown as he saw Ashura's face morph into the snail. His expression was filled with anxiety and worry.

"Tama - missing!" Ashura's voice began to choppy as they travelled further away from Wano and Onigashima, "-animal within her seal-!"

"Sorry I misheard what did you say!" Naruto yells over the storm and thunder at the Tanaishi as he continued to write the seal.

Before Ashura could respond, a purple flash appeared over Naruto, and someone tumbled out from mid-air and directly on top of Naruto, screaming at the top of her lung.

Immediately Naruto understands what had happened and slammed his head into the deck and groans before telling Ashura, "I am guessing Tama disappeared!"

"Yes!" Ashura said with a worried sigh. "She disappeared in a purple flash by that animal!"

"There is no need for that!" Naruto tells him with a strained smile, making Ashura look bewildered. "She just appeared in thin air right now!"

"Oh!" Ashura said in surprise being yelling to someone next to him, "She is safe! She somehow got to Narutomaki-sama!"

Naruto heard a collective sigh of relief from the other side of the snail before hearing Tsurujuro's voice mutter, "Oh, we were so worried for her!"

"Should I be worried about the village as you can't keep a track of a girl!" Naruto asks them with a raised eyebrow.

"Hey don't blame them as it was not their fault!" Tama protested before heaving and then barfing all over the sealing array.

Naruto sighed and pinched the bridge of his nose and told Ashura, "Change of plans, I am taking her with me! The troublemaker within her is too much for the villages to handle!"

"Tama!" Sukiyaki's steamed voice came through the snail, "You will be not eating any Oshiruko for a while! Do you agree with me, Naruto?"

Naruto nodded in an agreement, looked at Ulti and Tama before telling them, "There will be no Oshiruko on this ship until I change my mind!"

Tama opened her mouth to protest and faltered at the annoyed glare from Naruto and gulped in fear and nodded.

"Good!" Naruto glowered before telling Sukiyaki, "She has another punishment waiting!"

"Naruto, just be responsible and look after her!" Sukiyaki sighed before telling them, "Remember, I love you two both like you are my children!"

"We know that..." Naruto tells Sukiyaki with a smile before muttering to the snail, "Love you too, master! See you in three years!"

Naruto heard Sukiyaki saying in a weepy voice, "Brat... Promise me you won't die out there!"

"I won't!" Naruto said with a smile, "The day I die will be a day when I have no regrets!"

"That's like you, Naruto!" Sukiyaki chuckles before hanging up.

Immediately Naruto whirls at Tama with narrowed eyes, "Explain! NOW!"

Tama just gulps and hands him a scroll of paper. Naruto snatches out of her hand and unfurls it and his heart softens as he reads.

Dear Narutomaki.

Can you forgive her for me? She wants to be with you! I understand her desire. Even after all these years... I still miss my brother Momo... But I know we all have responsibilities. Just like I have my own and you have your own path. Tama decided to take the responsibility to protect you from yourself! If there is only one regret I have in the time you spent with me and Denjiro is that we never knew your full tale! From what Tama told me what she knew your heart is filled with pain that you hide. I am the same as my anguish and grief for my parents, Wano and it's people will never fade until my revenge on Orochi comes! So Naruto, when the day comes for you, return to Wano and Momo to rule Wano. Can we laugh together in bliss as Kozuki Hiyori and Uzumaki Naruto and not Komuraski the Orian and her overprotective bodyguard?

If the answer is yes, then I will be glad. And I know you are too kindhearted to refuse a beautiful and kind woman like me!

I'm so glad to have met you, Naruto!

Kozuki Hiyori

Naruto just feels his heart relax as he read the and smiles softly before furling back the scroll and whispers to himself, "Well I am feeling conflicted, to punish or to not punish Tama!"

Naruto then weaved a couple of hand signs before slamming his hand on the deck and a summoning array expanded across the wooden deck before whispering, "Summoning: Uzumaki Iron Box!"

A puff of smoke later, Naruto opened his ancestral family box and tucked the letter away among the dozens of storage scroll, Scroll of Seal, which contained many Forbidden Jutsu, the chest full of devil fruits, and other important items that belonged to him now. He then took out the storage scroll that was tagged with Seven Swords of the Mist and then looked at Page One, who didn't have an axe as he had forgotten his.

Naruto then unfurled the storage scroll before going over the storage seal that said Axe and pressed it and filled the seal with chakra, unsealing its content.

A puff of smoke later, Naruto was holding a giant axe and hammer, linked end-to-end by a flat, thin, leather-like rope. He tossed the weapon towards Page One, who fumbled mid air it in surprise before cradling it as he inspected the weapon and then looked at him.

"What is this?" asked Page One with an interested voice as held the axe and the hammer respectively in each hand.

Naruto then tucked the storage scroll back before unsummoning the box and told him, "The weapon's name is called Kabutowari. It had been passed down through a group of strong and bloodthirsty ninja-swordsmen close to my home country..."

"So people used a weapon like this, an oversized axe and hammer together with a cord seems kind of weird?" Page One asked with a confused look.

"The cord allows you to use each weapon individually, to cut and crush obstructions respectively, but their true strength lies in their capability to be employed with one another." Naruto informed him with a shaking head and gave him a soft smile, "When used together it was said they could break through any defence."

Page One just grinned at those words, "Captain! You are the best! I will treasure Kabutowari!"

Naruto then looked at Tama who still holding Sakura Ringu before looking back at crew and told them and shook his head ruefully, "Guys... We have a new crew member, my cute little sister! Tama!"

"So this is Tama?" Yamato said excitedly before looking confused. "She is older than I thought she would be."

"It's a long story!" Naruto told them with as he saw Page One shaking his head in amazement and snorting, "A new crew member, an hour in the crew's formation? At this rate, we would have a thousand by the next week! Welcome to the crew, you brat!"

"Thanks?" mumbled Tama as she ducked her head and hid behind Naruto.

"She is so cute!" Ulti says as she pinches Tama's cheeks playfully. "It will be nice to have another girl around that is not Yamato! My advice for surviving this crew is to stay away from Yamato, as she is the one who does crazy things!"

Tama just gave her a confused nod and mumbled something that Naruto could not hear.

Yamato just glares at Ulti and tells Tama in a kind voice, "Ignore the bro-con! She is delusional!"

"What is a bro-con?" asked Tama in confusion before Naruto tells her as he hands her a mop with a strained smile, "Tama, come and clean up the mess you just did on the deck! Now I need to redo the seal from the beginning and the rest of you, back to your positions! We will celebrate and talk when the original is here and we are away from Kaido's territory!"

-Rooftop-

Naruto swung his sword again only for it to blocked by Kaido's Kanabo. The flowing mixture of Sage Chakra and Haki within the sword clashed against the club that was infused Armament Haki and cracking Black-Red Lightning before being blown away from the recoil.

Both opponents skidded away in opposing directions and Naruto felt his arm and the chakra network within his arm was on fire before the Tailed Beats Chakra healed it. Looking at the damaged arm healing slower than before, Naruto realized he was in trouble.

"I can't afford to prolong the fight!" Naruto thought as he rushed towards Kaido, his sword aimed for the towering dragon hybrid man's jugular as his thoughts raced, "If I run out of Tailed Beats Charka, I will lose! And I can't just borrow from them again!"

Kaido just skidded to a sudden stop as his clawed feet dug into the earth, and smirked before telling him, "What's wrong? This one felt weaker!"

Suddenly, Naruto held out his and began creating an immense mass Rasengan that was swirling and rotating and then slowly infused it with his newly awakened Haki, giving the massive Rasengan swirling streaks of black within the blue-white swirling massive ball of chakra.

Naruto grunted in pain as he felt his chakra network and arm scream in pain as cracks began to spread and fissures began to spread across his palm and blood seeped through them. The damage was happening faster than the Tailed Beasts Chakra could heal him.

Kaido's eyes glowered in excitement him before rushing towards him and jumped in the air with his scaley legs and spun his club as it crackled with purple lightning before it was infused with the Haki that gave it the streaming black-red lightning.

"Lightning Hammered Ragnaraku!" Kaido roared with a grin as he swung downwards.

"SUPERMASSIVE RASENGAN!" Naruto screamed with all his might as he thrust the immense Rasengan that dwarfed Kaido.

Both opposing attacks met in a clash and on impact Naruto's Rasengan overpowered Kaido's attacks before it slammed on the dragon hybrid man and its swirling dense chakra was released.

The force released from the Rasengan exploded out in a powerful blast, and it roared across the rooftop, blowing of chunks of rocks everywhere and making the mountains range around the ridges of the island shatter like glass in an instant, everything in front of Naruto, earth, the air the Mountain, everything was simply blown away by the power.

Even as it faded away, the ground and air still shook its power, and Naruto looked at the trail of devastation that carved the earth created by his Rasengan. Even Kaido shouldn't be okay after this.

Naruto then looked at his right arm and hand, before grimacing in pain as he saw its mangled state. Blood seeped through the cracks in his skin and muscle, hell some part of his arm felt like they were in so much pain they numbed out the pain coursing through his body and chakra network.

But Naruto was glad he won the fight, and he wouldn't have to use the Sealing Technique: Dead Demon Consuming Seal or it's mask to release his soul.

Naruto collapsed on his knees panting from exhaustion, waiting in hope for the reverse summoning seal to summon him to the ship.

Suddenly a blue clawed hand erupted from the edge of the rooftop and Naruto became stunned as he sprang to his feet and rushed towards Kaido, who was pulling himself upwards and back to the fight.

Before he could even cross halfway there, Naruto and fell flat on his face from the exhaustion and tasted the earth. Naruto then looked at Kaido with exhaustion as he saw him bleeding profusely from his mouth and his huge muscly abs were torn into shreds as they struggled to keep Kaido's insides.

Naruto kept staring with a mixture of horror and fascination at Kaido before whispering in a tired voice, "How on earth did you survive that? Are you immortal?"

Kaido just grunted in pain and then grinned before coughing up blood as he said, "I nearly died there. Pushing me towards the ocean is crude but effective! I can't swim!"

Naruto just looked in disbelief at these words before reaching for the Death God mask tucked underneath his kimono and told himself, "I hoped to never use this, but the way things are going, it seems I won't be able to keep any of promises... This sucks!"

"My turn," said Kaido before swung his club forward and roars, "Vajra Arrow!"

Instantly Naruto felt the projectile-like shockwave hit him squarely in the chest and was blown away across the battlefield.

Naruto landed and rolled to his feet ready to spring an attack on Kaido despite the broken ribs before stopping and covering his arms over his body to block the many projectile-like shockwave from Kaido's club as the dragon hybrid man howled out his attacks, "Vajra Arrow Storm!"

Naruto had no choice but to wear down the attacks as they hit him, felt every shockwave broke something in his skeletal structure, soon wounds started to appear as cuts and bruises were created on contact and Naruto stumbled before being blown away and hammered repeatedly by the flying projectiles.

Once they were over, Naruto just sat there lying as the last of his Tailed Beasts chakra he got recently heal his body enough so that he can continue to fight with no major issues.

"You are still alive?" Kaido laughs as he sees Naruto getting to his feet despite the many wounds on his body, "If you keep going further like this... Maybe I should let the world know you are the one of the strongest in this world!"

Naruto just chuckled back, before beginning to form the seals for the Jutsu that had saved Konoha twice in his lifetime, but at a high cost, it required a sacrifice, a soul. The user's own soul.

"Sealing Jutsu: Dead Demon Consuming Seal!"

As Naruto whispered these words and clapped his hands together. Naruto felt his soul slowly being ripped away from his body and suspended behind him but still linked to his body. He then felt the surrounding air turn cold as he could feel the Shinigami chill the air and the atmosphere with its deathly presence.

Naruto then looked behind himself and saw his soul restrained by the hair of a translucent gaunt spectre with a demonic appearance. The spectre was purple skinned and was much larger than an average human and had long, shaggy white hair, from which two red horns protrude. It was draped in a large white garment and carried a set of prayer beads in his right hand, and his mouth where full of sharp, jagged teeth that held a tanto.

"So, this is the most powerful entity the Uzumaki Clan created?!" Naruto thought as chills spread across his soul before he sees the Shinigami wraps its left arm with prayer beads and chants unintelligible words until a cursed seal appears on its right arm.

Naruto then slowly placed the mask on his face and muttered to himself, "Oh I hope this works... Please Work!"

Naruto then looked at the Shinigami, who froze on the spot once he saw the mask, and grinned before chattering excitedly in an unintelligible language.

Naruto knew there were two ways to summon the Shinigami, offer your soul to seal up your enemy soul with your soul in the belly of the Shinigami, the summoner soul always gets devoured even if the victim of the Jutsu can save his soul by overpowering the Jutsu. The other way to summon the Shinigami is to use the mask that makes him copy your movement.

According to old scrolls, he found in the ruins of Uzushiogakure. The mask was mostly used to undo the sealing by forcing the Shinigami to slit his stomach by slitting your own stomach, thus forcing the devoured souls to escape to the afterlife. But it also mentioned another application invented by an exiled Uzumaki clan member who abused this method repeatedly in his life. Even for the Uzumaki's taste, his methods were savage.

The Jutsu and the release were mentioned in the scroll, but Naruto had a theory about what it was and how to execute it. He had just done the Jutsu and wore the mask, and if he was right here...

"There is a slim chance I can escape from the Shinigami clutches..." thought Naruto with a crazed look as his eye looked around, "I have one shot here!"

Kaido looked at his mask and gave him an irked face before saying, "This is no time to play dress up! Bah! Yamato has already influenced you too much! Are you dressing up as an Oni with that mask?"

Naruto then moved and instantly he disappeared from Kaido's eyesight in a blur of speed and suddenly Kaido couldn't sense him with his Observation Haki before two clones reappeared right next to him with a wild look in their eyes and grabbed both of his arms and pulled them back, before the real one appeared and grasped him with all his might.

Naruto then felt the Shinigami arm going through Naruto's soul, making him feel his blood chill as he saw a transparent and intangible arm protrude from his stomach and reached for Kaido before going through the skin and muscle like a ghost.

Kaido was about to push the clones away when he felt something invisible enter his abdomen and grasp something in his core, and he suddenly felt paralyzed and unable to move, no matter how much he willed himself.

"It's over!" Naruto panted as he took deep breaths as he sees Kaido's soul slowly being extracted from his hybrid body.

"What is this sensation?" Kaido thought as dread filled his body.

"The Dead Demon Consuming Seal..." Naruto whispered to Kaido as he began to explain what was happening to both, "In this Sealing Jutsu, in exchange for the effectiveness of Jutsu, one's own soul is handed over to a spectral being my clan created and began calling the Shinigami. It's a Jutsu that should cost my life. At the same time the Sealing ends, my soul would be devoured by the entity behind me. You too will also die by this Jutsu!"

Kaido's eyes widen at these words and for once in this battle there was a hint of fear in those eyes, as his soul was one third out of his body.

"And now, your soul will be dragged out... and sealed!" Naruto growled behind the Shinigami Mask.

"My body... won't listen to what I say!" Kaido thought before opening his mouth and roared out a battle cry that sent shockwaves across the entire battlefield and unleashed all of his Conquerors' Haki to overpower Naruto. Making Naruto give him a flat look and tell him off.

"You'll probably be able to see it soon." Naruto tells him darkly, "Your soul is also already about halfway out,"

"I don't know why you have a more potent version Linlin's power but if you think this will kill me than you are wrong!" Kaido growled out as his right hand twitched despite being held down by the clone and the paralysing effects of the jutsu.

"Those who have their souls sealed by this Jutsu will suffer inside the belly of the Shinigami for eternity and will never attain peace..." Naruto tells him ignoring his words before giving him a chuckle, "If I die with you, I will be glad to fight you in there for all eternity if it means Wano is free of you!"

"Don't think you can win like this!" Kaido hissed out angrily as he lets out a more concentrated blast of Conqueror Haki cracking and creating fissures around him. "I refuse to die like this! I will bring a legacy of turmoil and change to this world through a battle where my life is extinguished, through a battle where all will witness my glory!"

Suddenly, Naruto began to feel and see Kaido's soul slowly trickle back to his body despite the Shinigami's hand gripping on the soul.

Naruto then pulls harder on the soul, and Kaido keeps trickling back his soul to his body and Naruto doubles down his efforts on the war for Kaido's soul.

Kaido then let out a guttural roar that pushed Naruto backward. The sound was so deafening that the island was so shaking, and the waves were flattened around the island and Kaido kept emitting out his Conqueror Haki that the surrounding ground began to crack and break apart.

Naruto winced as he felt an eardrum get ruptured from the deafening roar as his ears start to bleed before wincing and yelled at Kaido.

"I AM NOT LETTING GO!" Naruto yells over Kaido's roars.

"LET'S SEE IF YOU CAN HANDLE THIS YOU BRAT!" Kaido roared as a smirk began to spread across his face and change happening to his body.

Kaido's body began to become bulkier and muscular, and his facial features became more beast-like. His once human-like teeth turned into a full set of fangs, his nose turned larger, and his eyebrows become thicker and take the pattern of flamelike clouds, and Kaido's eyes began to glow orange with yellow ring-like pupils.

Kaido then wrenches his hands free, overpowering the Jutsu paralyzing effects and raised a fist and brought them down on the mask repeatedly in a flurry of blows and Naruto ignored the pain and ringing head as he shrugged the blows off as he maintained a vicelike grip on Kaido's soul.

Suddenly a blackened and hardened fist with Armament Haki landed on him and Naruto's head snapped backwards, and Naruto blinked out the blood pouring into his eyes from the gash on his forehead as he momentarily slacked his grip on Kaido's soul. Then a fist slammed into Naruto's gut and stumbled backwards as he felt the Shinigami lose a grip on Kaido's soul and then felt a crack form on the mask and sprang backwards to and looked behind himself to see one of the Shinigami red horns had been broken.

Naruto paled at what happened and thought back on the warnings on scrolls about the mask, "If the masks break it will be a colossal disaster... it's the contract and the seal that created and bound the Shinigami to the clan!"

Naruto then looked forward to see Kaido has vanished from the spot he was in and swore, "One second I look away and he is-"

He then was struck by the spiked kanabo crackling with red-black lightning and the mask shattered on impact as he was sent flying across the battlefield.

Naruto crashed into a boulder before bouncing off another one and then heard a weak moan and saw the thing he dreaded the most to happen.

The unknown.

The Shinigami was releasing his soul and then clutched his bleeding face with his hand and gave him a deranged smile before cracks began to form on him and floating black kanji began to seep through the cracks and then the specter imploded to floating black Kanji that collapsed into a black sphere that then zoomed towards Naruto and slashed it with his Uzu-Uchiwa not willing to mess with the seals from the Uzumaki Clan, after all his Mom mentioned his clan were full of people who were maniacal and savage with the seals.

The sword met resistance as it grinded against the sphere before it dissipated away into a shadowy smoke against Uzu-Uchiwa

"Well, that was unclimactic..." Naruto muttered as he glared at Kaido and yelled at him, "You just destroyed a precious Family Heirloom. Are you going to pay for it!?"

Kaido just snorted as he shifted into a dragon and flew into the air away from Naruto as he stared at him apprehensively, "After trying to take my soul? I say that's a fair price!"

Naruto then told him with a straight face, "Then can I have your heart instead!"

"Was that a Love confession?" Kaido said with a raised eyebrow before shaking his head at Naruto, "Sorry I don't swing that way, but I think I am sure Jack does? I can arrange a marriage between you too!"

"No!" Naruto said with a red face of embarrassment, "I am straight! Not that I have anything against people who prefer it that way! To each his own, I say!"

"Then what about kissing Sasuke!" Dark Naruto said in his mind with a chuckle, "Or the hours practicing Reverse Harem Jutsu!"

Naruto just rolled his eyes before his eyes caught the sight of a vessel of the Beast Pirates and felt two signatures of chakra among the five people.

"Is that Tama?" Naruto thought in surprise before he sees Kaido following his line of sight and sees the Ship traveling away.

"I wasn't aware there were ships that had to depart tonight!" Kaido growled out in anger before swiveling his eyes to Naruto and rumbled, "Are those your allies, Uzumaki Naruto!"

Naruto just gave him a look of silence and jumped into the air before jabbing with Nidai Kitetsu, yelling as his blade was flowing with chakra, "One Sword Style: Chōmei Sting!"

Naruto drove down the blade hilt deep into Kaido's dragonic jaw and twisted the blade before disengaging with the blade. Naruto landed on the ground as a rain of large droplets of blood sprayed into the earth as Kaido shrugged off the cut and growled at him, "That one felt weaker than every other thing you did to me!"

Naruto just gave him a glare before pointing the blade challenging at Kaido, who was flying in the air with a grumpy look as he surveyed the surrounding battlefield.

"Just give up, Uzumaki!" Kaido growled out at him. "I know your limits... You will die if you keep going like this!"

Naruto knew Kaido's words were true as he was running in the fumes of his chakra, and he could barely execute another clone without dispelling the one on the ship who was writing the seal to reverse summon him.

"If you won't give up..." Kaido growled at him angrily before yelling at him, "Then this will break your spirit!"

Kaido then opened his mouth, inhaled a tremendous amount of air and flames before compressing it as his head swiveled in the boat's direction.

"NO!" Naruto yells with deep panic as realizes Kaido's intentions. Naruto then tries to warn Kaido of the implications of what happened if the Bolo Breathe lands on the ship as the flames were bursting and flaring behind Kaido's teeth, "YOU WILL REGRET IT! WE ALL WILL! YOUR-"

"Bolo Breath!" Kaido thought as he ignored Naruto's words and fired the blasts with an almighty blast as he lets a stream of flames in a conical blast towards the unaware ship as Naruto screams towards the ship a scream of despair.

Page One first saw it as a glint of light on top of the skull dome, when he was checking the new cool axe his captain gave him. But then he began feeling the air shimmering around the glint of light.

"A heat mirage?" thought Page One as he frowned before he saw the glint grow even larger as it grew in luminance and power. "Is that Kaido-san?"

"Yamato!" Page One yells in warning as he points toward the glinting light and yells, "Is that your dad?!"

Yamato's eyes widened in horror as she pales and mumbles to the crew, "We are dead!"

"WHAT DO YOU-" Ulti yelled before her jaw become slack as she stared at the conical blast of concentrated white fiery flames heading towards the ship they were on. "Shit!"

The last thing they heard before the heat and white light of the flames filled their vision was Naruto yelling something as the wooden mast on the ship burst from the incoming heat.

-Rooftop-

Naruto felt his blood turn to ice as the memories rushed back from the clone that had been forcibly dispelled from a fiery and abrupt end, but he couldn't sense anyone that was on the ship... All was left was the lingering sensation in his heart that was turning to a mixture of feelings that were terrifying as Naruto never wanted to become this person again.

"Not Again... this can't happen to me again!" the words echoed within his mind as the mixture of emotions that were bottled within him began cracking the dam of repressed memories he had been ignoring since he came to this world. No matter how much he wanted to grieve right now, he just couldn't... His heart was too hardened by everything.

Kaido just glanced down at him, looking surprised at the reaction of the death, and frowned at his expression, "That must be some goal you seek to be this cold-hearted to your comrade's death..."

Naruto ignored Kaido's words as he began to feel a strange feeling towards Kaido. It was not rage for him killing everyone on the ship... The feeling felt strange, as he did not feel it for a long time.

"I didn't have time to ask you earlier, Uzumaki!" calls out Kaido with a serious expression, "What are you seeking in this world?!"

This time Naruto responded as rage filled his heart and looked at his blood covered hand in disgust and answers in quiet voice, "What I am looking for?"

Dark Naruto appeared next to him as Naruto felt his blood boiling as he remembered everything... There was rage directed to Black Zetsu and most fall the rage was directed towards himself. But strangely for Kaido, he felt no rage directed towards him.

Naruto understood Dark Naruto was feeling the same as Naruto felt his feelings overlapping with each other as they came to a single conclusion.

"I might've already understood by that point..." Naruto mutters to himself as he remembered the days scratching and screaming at the cocoons bound at the divine tree, wanting to wake up his friends and allies before committing the unspeakable act to free them from the Divine Tree, cut them down before they turned into a White Zetsu under the influence Infinite Tsukuyomi. He remembers all their stunned expressions of betrayal once they wake up from the world of dreams dying and the tears spilling from the eyes as they understood what happened. The memories still haunt him to this day and probably until the day he dies.

"This all piled up, little by little and I know who's fault it is!" Naruto snarled as he could feel his head splitting from the amount of self loathing, he was giving himself, "I can't take this anymore... What I wanted to do back then was to die but my anger will still be with me when I die!"

"What I am seeking now is atonement for my failures..." Naruto's enraged voice echoed all over the battlefield as tears filled his eyes, "But the thing I desire the most is... Revenge against that black tar face for making me suffer in that hell!"

"Not me?" Kaido asks in surprise before looking at Naruto with a gaping mouth.

"Why I should hate you..." Naruto says as he gives him a pitiful look and lets out a broken chuckle, "You just killed your only child and heir! Yamato is dead! So are Ulti and Page One... they are dead because you fired that stupid blast on that ship..."

"Huh?" Kaido said as his dragonic face morphed into one of shock and disbelief and asks in a shocked voice, "What did you say?"

"You even killed my little sister... I want to hate you so much, but I can't because I know this is my fault!" Naruto cries out as he ignores Kaido's question as he tugs on his blond hair in frustration over the failed plan before whispering to the world, "For things to turn out like this... I will keep hating myself... until the day I die!"

"Why should I hate you? You just killed your only child and heir! Yamato is dead! So are Ulti and Page One... they are dead because you fired that stupid blast on that ship..."

"No... No... No!" Kaido thought in horror as he feels the truth in his opponent's words, "NO! NO! NO! NO!"

Fear and anxiety filled his entire being before he franticly activated his Observation Haki to sense for those Naruto mentioned. Kaido had and never will admit it, but he loved those kids even if he was harsh and gave them an uncaring attitude towards them. Despite his expectation of Yamato and Silver Axe's brats, he took in. They held a soft spot in his heart. So, he refused to believe he just killed him them now.

His range of Observation Haki spread across the island and all over the region of Wano and he sensed nothing that told him his child and foster kids were on the island.

"They are dead?" Kaido whispered in denial as he realized what happened "Because of me? I killed them?"

And Kaido's world shattered apart as he let out a scream of grief that shook apart the island and felt ugly tears and snot flowing down his face as the pain made his heart

"YAMATO!" he screamed out to the heavens, wanting back his daughter felt something break inside him as he regrets all the times beating up his daughter and locking her up, "I... I... DIDN'T MEANT IT! I AM SORRY! YOU WERE RIGHT! COME BACK! "

Kaido then felt a sob choke him up as he remembered the tiny child he held in his arms, the child now gone turned to ashes. He only had the memories left as tears of grief flowed down his eyes. Page One and Ulti came to his mind next, and grief clouded his mind as he remembered laughing with Silver Axe's kids. He knew they covered for Yamato and treated her like a big sister.

He then stared at the broken shell of a man that was his opponent and felt a sense of pity towards him. And then shifted back to his human form and landed on the ground, staring at him with a face full of grief and regret.

Kaido knew Naruto tried to warn him from firing the Bolo Breathe at the ship which he didn't know was boarded on it. Kaido had no one to blame himself.

"Me, the ruler of the world, the next Pirate King and the finder of the One Piece?" Kaido whispers before slamming his head with frustration as he denies these dreams, "I couldn't even protect Yamato, Ulti and Page One!"

"It's a shame, but this battle ends here right now..." Kaido tells him with a pained expression, "If this tragedy did not happen, I would have clobbered you up and won. Then I will have given you a toast once you joined the crew!"

"It's kind of sad that Yamato will never know how much you loved her!" Naruto says bitterly, "Page One and Ulti had their dreams too! But I think they feared your wrath!"

Kaido then gave him a hardened look, "How did Yamato even got these cuffs off!"

"I made a duplicate key!" Naruto answers with a voice filled with regret, "If I knew, someone close to me will die tonight because of my actions... I would have left Yamato behind. Damn my promise to her!"

"Promise?" Kaido asks with a raised eyebrow.

"That I will free her!" Naruto snapped in anger as he slams his fist to the ground and growls out, "If I knew this would have happened, I would have helped you to keep her chained within this island!"

"Why?" Kaido asked with perplexed as he felt touched by Naruto's protectiveness over his daughter, "Was she special to you?"

"I don't know," Naruto muttered as he recalled his interactions with Yamato, "One moment she acts like an idiot and goofs off, making herself be annoying and frustrating but the next moment she was kind and understanding but tough and badass at the same time."

"I know!" Kaido chuckles before they both laugh together and their eyes connect. They reached a silent agreement.

"A final clash! Give me everything you got!" both of them thought simultaneously.

Kaido transforms back into a dragon and flew higher than before into the air and this time lightning began crackling from his mouth as he roared.

"LIGHTNING DRAGON DRUM!" shouts Kaido as he breathes a large amount of multi-coloured lightning from his mouth, forming a giant lightning dragon over his original dragon body. The lightning dragon dwarfed the island in size as purple to white to blue to yellow lightning crackled over the lightning dragon, lighting the dark sky into day.

Naruto closed his eyes as he poured everything into his swords, and they began to surge with a tremendous amount of chakra as Naruto shifts his balance and screams out, "TWO SWORD STYLE!"

Naruto then jumps into the air so he was on Kaido's level before he began to pour more power into his sword, making them stream with a crackle of red-black lightning.

"Conqueror's Haki!" Kaido thought in surprise as he steeled his self, "He is using it unconsciously!"

"Rising Dragon: Lightning Bagua!"

"Ten-Tails Cataclysm!"

Kaido surges his lightning dragon forward and towards Naruto, who swung down his swords and unleashed two huge sharp crescent of chakra flying slashes tinged with red-black lightning that rushed towards the dragon was wrapped with multi-colored lightning.

Kaido's electric dragon bit through one crescent slash while the other cut through the lightning cloak and through the scales, muscle making Kaido roar in pain as he continued to barrel towards Naruto relentlessly.

CRACKLE! CRACKLE! CRACKLE! CRACKLE!

Naruto smelt the ozone and felt his skin tingle from the lightening dragon jaws about to around him.

CHOMP

Kaido's electricity dragon bit into Naruto's body before discharging the blast of lightning in one go.

Naruto's vision turned white as the lightning explodes across the sky and blasts him into the stratosphere as he loses his consciousness and began to fall thousands of kilometers.

A/N: Hello R8Handman here, I am guessing half of you are screaming at the screen while the other are struggling to close your mouth. And to reconfirm what just read, that just happened. What a Plot Twist! You thought Naruto would leave happily ever after with Yamato on a ship with Kaido letting them away! Think about Kaido's character and his power, his crew, and strength. The only way any of them could have escaped the island together was Kaido thinking they were dead! Now some of you might call it fake out death, but honestly, the story works either way if they somehow miraculously survived! Read between the lines and my effort with this story and you will get what happened. I am going to enjoy this evil cliff hanger!

Anyway, Naruto lost to Kaido! And Kaido's character arc starts right after this hiatus! Yes, there will be a hiatus as I will be busy with exams and rewriting my old story.

I will be back after I repost my renewed MHA X Naruto crossover!
