Eventually the bus made its way into town, stopping. The kids all swarmed off the bus, heading into Laundy Matt's where they dropped off their bags to be washed. Slinkman told them they had to wash and dry their clothes. The Coffee Beans secured four washing machines, emptying their bags into the machines.

Andy put a quarter in the machine, turning the knob to start the load. this continued as Tusk tapped Steven on the shoulder, glancing over again to Suzie, the Poodle was approaching them. talking the machine right next to Steven.

"So, Steven, I don't think we properly got introduced, I'm Suzie" The Poodle introduced herself, opening the machine and dumping her load as Steven rolled his eyes. Somehow the Poodle had already found out his name as she leaned against her machine, chewing on a piece of bubblegum.

The Poodle pulled the pack from her jacket pocket, offering a piece of Watermelon flavored gum, holding out the torn package towards him. Steven just looked at her. responded that he had gotten enough watermelon from the squirrels before as Suzie realized the irony.

"I Was not a part of that, blame Rachel and Terri, personally I was rooting for you" She flirted as Steven shrugged, finding the Poodle's attempt at flirting annoying. he looked at her, being clear with her about his lack of interest in her. Telling the Poodle that he wasn't into her, and it was obvious that she was trying to flirt with him.

Either she was attempting to pull something on him, or it was genuine but regardless Steven paid no attention to her effort as she huffed, looking at him. "Fine, play hard to get."

Steven groaned as he was certain that Suzie was not going to get him. after starting the washer and a few failed attempts at hitting on the wolf Suzie stormed off to Amber and Toodie, telling her cabinmates she did not get it.

Suzie had used her best pick up lines, she tried using her cuteness, but Steven was not biting. The Poodle found it impossible to believe that boy could just reject her. Rachel looked over at Suzie asking why she would want to get with a Bean Scout, as they were so weird and gross.

"That's not the point, the point is that my charm is NOT working" Suzie replied confused by how that could be so. as Toddie giggled, commenting that maybe Steven 'Plays for the other team'. Rachel blushed nervously, rubbing her shoulder as Patsy interjected herself in the conversation.

"Toodie, you should not joke about that kind of stuff" The Mongoose replied as the last thing she wanted was a rumor being spread about the Wolf being gay, which Patsy knew was not the reason Steven wasn't into the Poodle. Suzie just repeated that she wanted him. Patsy shrugged knowing what it was like to be in love with someone who did not return those feelings.

the washers went off as the scouts transferred their laundry to the dryers. Nina closed the dryer door, pushing the button as she gave some honest advice saying the worst thing Suzie could do was smother Steven with flirtation, suggesting the best thing she could do was try to forget about it, claiming she could not make Steven fall in love with her.

"The hell I can't" Suzie rebutted, commenting she was willing to do whatever it takes to get that kiss; Patsy telling her that it was a BAD Idea. as they ended the conversation. Patsy glanced back at Lazlo. In truth she also desired a kiss from the Monkey, reflecting on how close she came. He was a forbidden fruit that she longed to taste.

The Monkey was sitting on the washing machine, next to Raj and Calm. "This is Agent M, calling Ground control, I see the mission objective". Lazlo was playing some sort of game with the Jelly Beans as Raj responded, claiming that the mission was compromised, and that Lazlo needed to evacuate the shuttle as an alien life form has boarded their ship.

Clam suddenly shot up from the washing machine, the Rhino having a pair of boxers on her hear as opening the door knocked Lazlo off as he fell on the floor. Clam let out a mock roar as Patsy chuckled at how they made a game out of washing clothes.

The Dryer buzzed as Patsy took her load from the dryer, placing the clothes in a basket and walking towards the table, setting her basket down as she pulled out her uniform, sniffing the attire which smelled of fresh soap, folding it as she started rolling her socks. Eventually Nina and Gretchen walked over folding their own laundry.

"Do you really think the Cocoa Beans will hold their truce?" Nina asked as Patsy honestly did not know. Before they had shown up No one at Camp kidney would directly challenge the Squirrel scouts let alone Flying Squirrel Cabin. On top of that Steven knew Patsy's secret. She agreed to uphold the truce, meaning the girls could not mess with the Bean Scouts anymore. After folding and putting their clothes back in their bags they waited.

When the last scouts were finished with their laundry Lumpus and Slinkman promised to take them to Beef Lumberjack as they left the laundromat and headed across the street to the steakhouse. Lumpus called to the kids, reminding them that they were responsible for paying for own food, letting Tarson, the bear waiter know that everyone was paying for their own food and not to order what they can't afford.

Tarson letting them know for those young ones it was on the house, pointing to Gordon and Honey. It was common knowledge that Honey and Gordon Brown were siblings, but no one guessed they were Tarson's kids. Gordon looked up, thanking his father as he put in his order. the other scouts doing the same.

When the elder bear came to Tusk, the Boar simply ordered some Macaroni and Cheese, Green beans and Side of fries with Ketchup, Amber asking to share Tusk's order, them being the only vegetarian kids which the Boar accepted, sitting together.

After everyone made their orders the two were sitting at various tables. Tusk and Amber sitting across from eachother. The Boar looked at the placemat which only had one maze on it.

"Well, I guess this is our second date" the rabbit joked, remembering last time and how she was off her meds, Tusk chuckled, asking if she wanted a do-over. the two talking amongst each other and really hitting it off.

Eventually the food arrived as they two were scooping macaroni and green beans on their plates, sharing the basket of fries. The two actually got a few looks from other scouts, word about the Rabbit and Boar spreading around.

at another table Jelly Cabin was sitting across Flying Squirrel both Lazlo and Patsy in the center on their group. Patsy looked over at Gretchen, dining on a huge plate of wings, her fingers and face getting covered in sauce as Nina was eating a pulled pork sandwich. Raj was eating chicken fingers with mashed potatoes, as his religion prevented him from consuming Beef, Clam was eating a Ham Steak.

Patsy sat, looking at the Beef Steak right Infront of her, cutting it with her knife and poking her fork into the meaty slab, taking a bite. She Looked at Lazlo, eating his steak, commenting that he preferred Churrasco to American Steak as Patsy remembered he was from Brazil. she looked at him, getting his attention as he asked what was on her mind.

Patsy pointed out that she remembered that Lazlo from Brazil, meaning he knew how to speak Brazilian as Lazlo looked at her, stating that Brazilian was not a real language, adding that yes, he did in fact speak Portuguese as it was his native language. adding that aside for his parents who moved to the states, no one else in his family spoke English.

I was wondering, if you could... teach me how to speak Portuguese?" Patsy requested as Nina, looked at her, saying it cool for her to want to learn another language. Gretchen was not interested in the slightest. Lazlo, being Lazlo agreed to tutor her; asking why she wanted to learn. Patsy told him that she thought learning an exotic language could be cool.

In reality Patsy was looking for an excuse to spend time with him, and learning Portuguese would be an added bonus as they would have their own secret language to talk in as Lazlo decided to start with something simple, looking down at steak.

"Este bife é delicioso" Lazlo taught as Patsy looked at him, never actually having heard Lazlo speak in his native tongue which sound way different from his English, there wasn't even a hint of an American accent. it sounded foreign, but in a good way as she loved his accent; thinking it sounded somewhat romantic before asking what it meant as Lazlo pointed down to his food. "This Steak is delicious" Lazlo Translated as Nina clapped.

Lunch continued as Lazlo shared a few more simple sentences, even Raj, Clam and Nina were getting in on it. Lazlo picked up a scoop of Green Beans as he felt something against his foot. he noticed the grin on Patsy's face as he felt the force sliding the monkey's shoe off and pressing against the sole of his foot, obviously warm as Lazlo identified the item as Patsy's foot, wiggling her toes against his in a game of footsies all he could do was sit still and not draw attention to it. He picked up his spoon and continued eating.

"You have such an amazing accent Lazlo" The mongoose praised, all while continuing to massage his foot. Lazlo wasn't oblivious as he figured Patsy was subtly flirting with him, but this was different, she had never been physical before, unless they counted that hug on the peak.

Eventually The kids finished their lunch. Lazlo felt Patsy withdraw her foot, presumably to slide it back into her shoe as he did the same, getting up and putting their money down for the food as she walked beside him, asking if they were still sitting together.

"You're not going to back out and stick me with Raj again?" Patsy asked as Lazlo was going to sit with her as they both carried their bags, heading toward the bus. Patsy was the first to sit down as Lazlo looked at her, she was sitting on the girls' side and once Lazlo sat beside her, he did not know what would happen.

He had promised to seat next to her before and backed out but not this time, plus she was 'Pretty' as he placed his buttocks on the bus seat next to the Mongoose who smiled at him, considering this a great victory as they both sat there with their bags on their laps, waiting for the bus to start.

on the opposite row Raj sat with clam, telling the rhino that he fears they have lost Lazlo to the world of girls and cooties.

So, Lazlo speaking Portuguese is partially a reference to 'Make the Most of it' more so I wanted the two to have a secret langue to communicate it, plus I could see Patsy learning another language for Lazlo.
