Selina Wu and Brick were at the Warehouse when Sonny and Jason arrived. Jason took his place along the wall with the other guards or second in commands.
"Sonny," Selina said, "Any word on your new coffee competitor?"
"They seem to have run into shipping difficulties," Sonny said, "Some of my old clients came back."
"How fortunate for you?" Selina said, "My sources tell me the shipping delays may have been intentional on the part of the shipping company."
"It was quite strange," Brick said, "Now the company is apparently being sold. It's the usually shipping delay if it was intentional, I'd expect to see. I looked into it, the company was owned by an ELQ subsidiary."
"I can't take any credit for it," Sonny said, "But I will definitely reap the profits."
"Isn't ELQ the company your son, Michael, works for?" Selina asked.
"He's on the board," Sonny said, "I'm not entirely sure whether he still works there since Valentin Cassadine took over the company."
"I find it very interesting that a company competing against your business is owned by your son's family's company," Selina replied, "One might wonder if he was intentionally targeting you. It is common knowledge you and he aren't exactly on good terms these days."
"Michael's business is his business," Sonny said.
"Unless it affects our business," Selina replied, "It which case it becomes our business. Was your son responsible for replacing a valued employee at the harbormaster's office?"
"Well, about that," Brick said, "It seems a mistake was made and the old harbormaster was framed. He got his job back."
"I'm glad to see that set right," Selina said, "We can focus on more pressing matters. The Buscema territory and who is now running it."
"I would have thought the Buscema's would have resolved their family disputes by now," Sonny said, as one of Selina's guards opened the door, "Established which one of them is in charge."
"That would be me," Johnny Zacharra said, entering the warehouse.
"Who the hell let you out of Pentonville?" Sonny yelled in surprise, looking at Brick to see if he'd heard anything. Brick shook his head just as surprised as Sonny.
"The Parole Board let me go for being a boy scout," Johnny Zacharra smirked.
"That's debatable," Brick said under his breath and then spoke up, "I'd heard you were up for parole. But I don't think anyone expected you get parole on your first attempt."
"Must have had some angels looking out for me," Johnny Zacharra said.
"That doesn't explain why you're here," Sonny replied, "You can't walk in here and declare you're running the Buscema territory."
"I can if I've already negotiated it from them," Johnny Zacharra replied.
"You've been in prison," Sonny said, "How could you possibly have the resources to implement that kind of take over."
"Do you really think I've just been sitting in Pentonville languishing, not planning for the possibility I might get out one day," Johnny Zacharra said, "That I was satisfied being your lap dog in prison, Corinthos?"
"As I recall you benefited from my protection," Sonny replied.
"I would have thought some of the information I provided would have been worth a lot more," Johnny Zacharra said, "Particularly related to Garrett Esoterra's deals to walk free and continue to terrorize your daughter."
"I have no idea what you're talking about," Sonny replied.
"Funny, Kellie didn't seem to know either," Johnny Zacharra said, "But then you would keep her in the dark. Funny, that she's shown more appreciation without knowing that info."
"You stay the hell away from my daughter," Sonny said, shoving Johnny Zacharra. Jason's fists clenched at his side.
"Does Kellie even lay claim to you as her father right now?" Johnny Zacharra laughed, "Word is that she hasn't spoken to you in months."
"Enough," Selina's voice cut through the chaos causing Sonny and Johnny Zacharra to freeze, "I know that you and Mr. Zacharra have a history. But the fact remains Mr. Zacharra is out of prison and seems to have emerged the victor in regards to running the Buscema territory. Though he will have to prove himself to other challengers. It's in all our best interests to accept that and move on. Now is not the time to hold on to old grudges. We need to show a united front."
"I'll put old grudges aside if you will," Johnny Zacharra replied, extending his hand to Sonny.
Sonny glared at Johnny Zacharra, but grudgingly shook his hand.
"Shall we?" Selina said, nodding at the table, indicating they should take their seats.
"Did you know Zacharra got parole?" Brick asked Selina.
"Turns out my sources may be better than yours," Selina said, "At least in this instance."
"I assume you remember the rules for operating in Port Charles," Sonny asked Johnny.
"You have nothing to worry about from me," Johnny Zacharra said, "I'm not my lunatic father. You all were making quite the profit under those rules while not attracting the wrong kind of attention."
They were interrupted by Kellie, Frances, and Johnny O' Brien entering the room. Kellie strolled in, wearing black leather pants, a black halter top, and a red leather duster jacket. She and O' Brien stood by the wall.
"Kellie, you have no business being here," Sonny said.
"My apologies for being late," Kellie said to the group, ignoring Sonny's outburst.
"Your timing was perfect," Selina said.
"You avoided the fireworks," Brick said.
Sonny looked at Jason who shook his head to indicate he was unaware of Kellie's planned attendance.
Johnny Zacharra stood up and walked over to Kellie, "how about a hug for an old friend?"
Kellie kneed Zacharra in the groin. He doubled over in pain.
"You couldn't just go with a slap to the face," Johnny Zacharra grimaced.
"We may have crossed paths years ago, but that doesn't make us old friends," Kellie said, "If I recall aside from the whole shooting my brother in the head thing, our interactions were mostly limited to you trying to keep your sister and I in separate corners."
"Please have a seat," Selina said, nodding towards the fifth chair at the table, "There's no reason for you to stand with the guards, not when you have relevant business to discuss."
"Kellie looked uneasily at Jason and Johnny O' Brien
"Just for tonight," Selina said, "Although I think many would agree you've more than earned a seat at this table."
Kellie sat down, staring Sonny down as she did. In the meantime, Zacharra had recovered and sat back down at the table.
"Kellie, you need to leave," Sonny started to protest.
"No, Sonny," Kellie said, "Any right you perceive you have to tell me what to do definitely went out the window when you disappeared to Nixon Falls. If we're honest, you never really had that right ever."
"O'Brien, Correlli, are you really going to let her just sit here?" Sonny asked, "Jason?"
Johnny O'Brien and Francis stared Sonny down. Jason looked away.
"Please continue," Kellie said to Selina.
"Your displeasure at Mrs. Corinthos-Morgan's presence is noted, Mr. Corinthos," Selina said, "Now can we move on or do you need some encouragement to focus on the matters at hand?"
Authors Note: Currently, going with referring to Johnny O' Brien and Johnny Zacharra by their full names at this point in the story. But if anyone has other suggestions to referring to them both, let me know. Seems to be the best way to differentiate between the two. Also, just in case it's not clear, the Five Families consist of Sonny, Selina, Brick, and now Johnny. Brick took over Cyrus's Port Charles territory. Fifth seat is vacant as Sonny and Selina split the Novak territory between themselves. The fifth seat at table is the one Selina offered to Kellie at least for this meeting.
