Chapter 6 sneaking into the Mer Dance
Cubby's POV
As Izzy, Jake, Izzy, Stormy and I were in studio A talking, I had to ask a question.
"Hey, Izzy didn't you Pirate Princess Misty and Owlette go to the trio competition?" I asked.
"Yes, we did Cubby." Izzy answered as Pirate Princess, Misty, and Owlette walked in with Peter behind them while Pirate was holding the trophy in her hand.
"Hi!" Misty exclaimed.
"Hey, Misty!" We all said hi back.
"How did you guys do?" I wanted to know.
"We came in second place." Owlette exclaimed while we all clapped our hands.
Izzy's POV
A trio competition is where you go with a trio do there's solos which is one person duets which is two and trios whish is three.
"Wait, second? Who the hell came first?" Jake wanted to know.
"Jake, language." Peter exclaimed.
"Peter, I'm about to be 18 next year." Jake told him.
"Anyway, the Mer Dance won first place." Owlette said.
The audience, the Mer Dance is well everyone's competition.
"They win." Peter said as he took the trophy out of Owlette's hand and walked away..
"You should have seen the Mer Dance they were amazing." Misty said.
"Come here guys, I have the whole video on my phone." Owlette told us as she took out her phone so she can show us the video.
Owlette's POV
"Hey let's take a little road trip to the Mer Dance and sneak into their studio to see what they're doing for regionals and come back and work on ours what does everyone think? Pirate Princess, Misty and I are already going.
"We're in." Jake and Izzy both exclaimed.
"I'll go as well." Stormy said.
"I want to go too." Cubby told us.
"Um..." I was thinking about bring Cubby along for the road trip.
"Sorry Cubby but you can't come with us." I told him.
"Aww coconuts, but why can't I come?" Cubby asked.
"May I remind you on what you said about me losing Izzy's necklace?" Jake reminded him.
"That's why we don't trust taking you anywhere." Izzy exclaimed.
"That's fine, I didn't want to go anyway." Cubby answered.
"Uh, why do you want me to come with you guys on this road trip to The Mer Dance?" I asked.
"Because it would be perfect if you joined in you're a good guy who thinks of a good way to sneak into buildings.
"Hmm, well I can't go but you guys can try the vent. That's the easiest way to get it it's fun. But be careful, it's hot inside a vent." I told her.
"Oh come on, Bart you can't just sit here and do nothing." Owlette exclaimed.
"I don't want to go, okay thanks for the offer though." I thanked her as I got back to my books.
Catboy's POV
As I was streaching in Studio A, on the floor, I saw the door open and it was Owlette walking in.
"Hi, Catboy, what are you doing?" Owlette exclaimed.
"Streaching! How are you doing?" I asked.
"I came in here to get extra practice." Owlette told me as I got up and we hugged.
"How is everything in troupe A?" I asked.
"Pretty good, it's a lot of pressure though." Owlette exclaimed.
"I also wish you were there with us. I really miss you." Owlette said as a year came down my face.
"I miss you too. Listen I got to go, maybe we can talk later on during lunch time." I suggested.
"I'd like that." Owlette answered as I grabbed my stuff and left studio A to herself.
John's POV
As I walked in Studio A, I saw Owlette doing something. So I walked up to her.
"What are you doing here?" I asked.
"I'm here to rehearse." Owlette exclaimed.
"Owlette, Owlette, Owlette!" I kept repeating her name which got her annoyed.
"What do you want? You should've booked the studio I did." Owlette exclaimed.
"I thought I was going to be here by myself cause everyone is at the Mer Dance." I thought.
"Here's what we can do, we can split the studio I get one half and you get the other." Owlette said.
"I get this half." I told her.
"Does it matter?" Owlette wanted to know.
"Yes it does!!" I yelled.
"Okay, you don't have to yell." Owlette answered.
Jake's POV
As Stormy, Izzy, Pirate Princess, Misty and I were discussing about sneaking into Mer dancing, stormy smoke up.
"Hey, I know a guy there and there's a back way to sneak into." Stormy said.
"Where did you meet this guy?" I asked.
"Jake!!" Izzy yelled.
"What? I want to know." I told her.
"I don't think we should take Jake with us he's a blabber mouth." Izzy exclaimed.
"Oh really, then you're a baby lover." I argued back.
"Guys can we not argue, right now?" Misty asked.
"He/she started it." We both exclaimed while pointing at each other.
John's POV
Once I put my music on, and started dancing, I was enjoying my song.
Owlette's POV
As I was having trouble focusing on my dancing, I went over to John today his attention but he was still focused on his dancing. So I went over to the radio that was playing his music and turned it off.
"Hey what happened to the music? Who in the hell turn off the music?" John asked.
"I did!!" I answered.
"But why?" John asked.
"Because your music is distracting me from rehearsing
"I'm using my music to help me." John exclaimed.
"And besides you're not even on your half." I told him.
"Well bird brain, if the music is distracting you so much why don't you go to studio B?" John wanted to know.
"Why can't you go to studio B London boy?" I asked.
"Why can't you go to studio B bird brain?" John exclaimed as we walked back into our halves to continue rehearsing..
Jake's POV
As I was driving the girls and myself to the Mer Dance, we were listening to some tunes.
"Hey Jake can we listen to some Britney Spears?" Misty asked.
"Sure!" I told her as I turned on Britney spears.
Stormy's POV
Once we arrived at The Mer Dance parking lot, I began to show Jake, Misty, and Pirate Princess the back door that we can sneak into. As we all got into the Mer Dance studio, we hide behind some of the costumes racks while watching the Mer Dance rehearsing.
"Wow, it's like they're robots. Dancing robots." Jake exclaimed.
"Yup, the Mer Dance is so polished and clean." Misty told him.
Owlette's POV
As John and I were still rehearsing, John was getting on my nerves.
"Hey, John how about I teach me your techinical ballet and you can learn my acro dance." I suggested.
"Okay, that's fair." John agreed as we started to teach each other our dances.
Jake's POV
"Uh, ladies I am worries that we might get caught so I think we should go.* I told them as we left.
As we all got into the car, Stormy started to speak.
"One of us should have gone back there and filmed the rehearsal. So who volunteers to go back?" Stormy wanted to know.
"Stormy that's a bad idea, we can't go in again." I told her.
"I volunteer to go back and film everything." Pirate Princess said as Stormy was surprised.
"No I'll do it because I don't want you to get into trouble pirate princess." I told her.
"I can do it Jake, I have my phone with me." Pirate Princess exclaimed.
"Go ahead." Stormy told her as Pirate Princess ran back inside the building through the back door to secretly film The Mer Dance rehearsal.
Owlette's POV
As I was teaching John Acro, we already got the mats so he doesn't fall or hurt himself. I started to teach her how to do roll overs aerials, multiple of flips in one go as he copies me.
John's POV
As I was doing these moves on mats, so I don't hurt myself, I then started to teach Owlette technical ballet. We got the ballet balance pole out.
"Put your feet together with your legs crossing over and put your hand out, and then bend down to the floor so you can lift yourself back up." I told her as she copied me.
Pirate Princess's POV
As I snuck back into the building, I hid behind a piano and started to record the Mer Dance and them doing their rehearsal. But I was terrified of getting caught. But I know what's best for my team.
Jake's POV
As Izzy, Stormy, Misty, and I were still waiting for Pirate princess to come back out, Misty started to speak.
"Where is she?" Misty wanted to know while I was pacing back and forth.
"I told you this wasn't a good idea. And I also told you not to shoot a video." I exclaimed.
"Okay, okay, okay enough of I told you so. Izzy can you text her?" Stormy asked as my girlfriend got out her phone.
"Yeah, that's actually a good idea." Izzy answered as she began texting Pirate Princess as we were waiting anxiously outside for Pirate Princess.
Pirate Princess's POV
As I was still filming the Mer Dancing, my phone started to go off as my eyes widen. I was trying my best to turn it off. But unfortunately The Mer Dance turned around and looked at me.
"Hey! Hey you!" One of the girls exclaimed as I looked up at her while coming out of my hiding spot.
"Hehe, hi." I said.
Jake's POV
Izzy, Misty, Stormy and I were still waiting outside for Pirate Princess. But she hasn't come out yet.
"She hasn't even replied yet." Izzy said.
"It's been ten minutes." I exclaimed while throwing my hands up.
"Stormy please go get her." Izzy told her.
Stormy's POV
As I ran back inside the building, I looked into the door and opened it as I then snuck inside again.
Owlette's POV
As John and I were doing our duet in studio A, we were doing a mix of acro and ballet. The moral of the story was that John is the puppet while I was the puppet master.
"Okay, I feel really good right now." John exclaimed.
"Yeah me too. Great job." I said as John hugged me.
"Hey are you up for some juice?" I asked.
"Sure." John answered as we went to get some juice to drink.
Pirate Princess's POV
Once I was out of my hiding spot, spot I saw the coach.
"Yeah, you! Get over here!" The coach exclaimed as I started to walk nervously towards The Mer Dance.
As I was walking towards the Mer Dance troupe, they were terrifying.
The girl who was the dance captain of the team looked at me really annoyed.
Stormy's POV
As I slowly walked in and saw that Pirate Princess got caught, I widen my eyes once I quickly ran out of the building to the other guys. All I know is that Pirate Princess is going to be in loads of trouble.
"Guys, guys, guys!" I called while running to them.
"Stormy what's the matter?" Izzy exclaimed.
"Pirate Princess got caught." I told them.
"Yay, hey no way." Izzy said shocked.
"We need to go now!! Get in the car!!" I told them as we got in the car apart from Jake.
"What? We can't just leave." Jake told us.
"Jake so help me, I will slap you if you don't get in the car!!" Izzy said as he turned around to face her.
"GET IN THE CAR!!" Izzy yelled as Jake got in the car.
Pirate Princess's POV
As all of the dancers were looking at me, these people were looking so mad I didn't know how I got into this situation and I'm so overwhelmed I wanna cry while looking at the coach.
