AU stories for NCIS episodes. Each is independent from all the others since this is based on the possibility of parallel universes and multiple timelines…. many, many of them. Later on some may seem to follow something that happened in an earlier AU episode story but it's probably coincidence unless I say otherwise in the beginning. Again, these are AU scenes/stories which means a character may die in one story and be alive in the next one.

Sheriff Charlie Dupray's statement played on cable news again. This time it was accompanied by law enforcement experts praising her work.
Tony leaned back in his chair and wondered. "Do you think if Gibbs had just taken her out to dinner that she might have given us a teeny bit of credit?"
"I don't know, Tony. She was persistent though, wasn't she?"
"If I wasn't so good looking and have as many dates as I want, I might be jealous that all the ladies seem to like Gibbs so much."
Kate laughed. "All these ladies you're talking about are victims or spouses of victims or murder suspects. Oh and law enforcement."
"You know, you could have stopped the sheriff in the beginning. You're the one who told her you didn't know if he was available."
"I didn't encourage her. I didn't lie. Do we know if Gibbs is involved with someone?"
Tony piped in. "The redhead who brings him stuff and gives him rides."
"Okay, let's make a pact. Anybody asks if Gibbs is available, we say no, he's definitely not available."
"Deal," Tony agreed.
