Chapter 10 Peter's stressed out
Peter's POV
As I was in my office looking around for a black book underneath the paper works, I was looking everywhere the the stupid book. Who know owning a dance studio, and taking on regionals could be so hard and difficult.
"I knew I should've give Jessica the day off." I exclaimed under my breath as Owlette came walking in.
Owlette's POV
"Hey Peter what's up?" I asked.
"I am freaking out, Owlette I'm freaking out! I can't find this little black book anywhere." Peter said.
"Okay before you pull your hair out, I will help you. Because I can see that you are very overwhelmed." I told him.
"I appreciate it. it's just that I'm all alone today, and I gave Red Jessica the day off. Who knew owning a dance studio and taking on regionals can be so hard." Peter explained as he fell to his chair.
"Well, is there anything it can do to help you out?" I wanted to know.
"Actually, yes! Can you help me find that black little book?" Peter asked.
"Sure!" I answered.
"Owl eyes!" I called as my owl eyes were activated as they were scanning for the book
"Found it!" I said as went over to it and gave it to him.
"Wow, I'm impressed Owlette. Thanks!" Peter thanked me.
"Hehe, is there anything else?" I exclaimed.
"Yes, can you go and pick up the sample costumes from the costume store that would be amazing. Before they close though." Peter told me.
"Okay don't worry, you can count on me Peter me and my owl feathers will get it done fast!!" I answered as I flew away.
Peter's POV
Once Owlette left, I chuckled a bit.
"Owlette's funny." I said to myself.
Owlette's POV
As I walked over to locker, to pick up my bag, I looked over at Bart who was showing off his dance moves.
"It's just typical Bart to be showing off to all the girls." I exclaimed.
As Bart walked over to me he started to ask me a question.
"What are you doing?" Bart wanted to know.
"I'm doing something for Peter." I answered.
"I didn't ask what you were doing, I asked where you're going listen up." Bart said.
"Oh, sorry well, I'm just going to pick up the sample costumes." I answered.
I don't know why, Bart is approaching me right now but I don't have the time for it.
"All right I'll take a while." Bart exclaimed.
"Shouldn't you be getting back to your girlfriend." I told him.
The thing about art is at keyboard for all the girls, but I am not falling for it.
"Jessica? She is not my girlfriend." Bart told me.
"Does she know that?" I wanted to know.
"Yo Jessica, you're not my girlfriend." Bart told her as he turned around.
"Okay.." Red Jessica said as she was confused.
Bart's POV
As I wanted to spend time with Owlette, I mean in the past she's avoided me. But not this time.
"See, she's not my girlfriend." I told her.
"Sure. But listen I gotta go see you later Bart." Owlette said as she walked off.
"Just keep kissing those frogs Owlette, this boy can wait." I told myself.
"Bart what are you doing?" Catboy asked.
"Uh, I gotta go." I sad as I ran off.
As I ran after the bus, I began to bang on the door as it came to a stop and the driver opened the door as I just hoped on board and saw Owlette sitting in her seat.
"Hey, Owlette!" I said as she turned around and saw me.
"What the? Bart what...what are you doing here?" Owlette wanted to know.
"I told you I was coming." I exclaimed.
"But I told you not to come, Bart." Owlette said.
While Owlette was looking out the window, i began to talk about Springfield.
"So, my dad used Lisa's bike to get to Moe's, my mom bought some shoe's because it would be good for the community. My best friend Milhouse and i go bike riding every weekend." I said.
"Let me stop you right there, did it ever occur to you that you talk too much?" Owlette asked.
"I love talking to people." I exclaimed.
"Good to know." Owlette answered.
"Do you know I like talking to people so much?" I asked.
Once I decided to tap on an old lady's shoulder, I started to speak again.
"Excuse me, sorry to bother you but I just want to tell you that you have beautiful hair." I complained.
"Thank you dear." The old lady thanked me.
"it's gorgeous right, look it's nice and perfect." I said as she just nodded her head.
"The amount of volume and curl at the same time." I told her.
"Oh yeah." Owlette answered.
"Could you please tell me where you get it done? maybe I won't let could maybe use it like a good hair dresser." I wanted to know.
The old lady started to explain to Owlette, while I was kicking my legs up and down.
I think strangers are friends you haven't met yet.
As the old lady got up, she turned around and waved bye to us.
"Goodbye darlings!" The old lady exclaimed.
"Bye!" I answered back.
Stormy's POV
As Izzy, Pirate Princess and I are rehearsing our trip, we've entered into small competition, we are just trying to get use to being in front of an audience for regionals.
"That was good!" We all exclaimed as Peter came in.
"Stormy, the photographer is gonna be here to do your headshot." Peter exclaimed as i was jumping up and down with excitement.
"Really?" I asked as he nodded.
"Yes. So, you better get ready." Peter said.
"Okay, thanks Peter as I didn't realize I was still jumping.
"Stormy?" Izzy called.
"Yeah?" I asked.
"You're still jumping." Pirate Princess told me as I stopped.
"Oh, sorry. I gotta get ready. See you girls later." I told them as I left.
"Stormy have you thought about like any looks for your shot?" Izzy asked.
"What do you mean?" I wanted to know.
"I mean for the photo shoot like different outfits, the wardrobes, and like accessories." Izzy exclaimed.
"Outfits? I thought it was just a headshot." I said.
"It's all about the outfits!" Izzy told me.
"Hey, how about I help you manage your whole shoot I'll take care of all the tough decisions for you." Izzy asked.
"Okay, cool amazing." I said as Izzy and I hugged.
"Pirate Princess will you help me with my makeup?" I asked.
"Okay." Pirate Princess answered.
Bart's POV
As Owlette and I were still on the bus, I saw my favorite comic book place.
"Hey, Owlette we need to go get a comic book." I told her.
"We're not getting a comic book."Owlette exclaimed.
"Have you ever read a comic book?" I asked.
"No, that's a boy thing." Owlette told me.
"Then you cannot say a word." I said as i was pointing at the place.
As I got up and grabbed Owlette's hand, she began to speak again.
"But if we don't get to the costume shop, I swear..." Owlette was about to finish but I cut her off.
"Let's go!" I said as she got up and followed me.
Stormy's POV
As Izzy and I were in Studio A, the headshot was set up, and the cameraman was there as well. Pirate Princess Pirincess was actually doing my makeup at the moment. That's when Peter came over to us.
"Stormy, are you excited?" Peter wanted to know.
"Yep!" I answered.
"Great, I'll be in my office if you guys need me." Peter told us.
"Okay, Peter!" We all answered as he left.
"How much like this coast?" Pirate Princess asked while she was doing my makeup.
"Not sure, Queen Coralie is paying for it." I told her.
"When is Queen Coralie going to watch?" Pirate Princess wanted to know as I just looked at her weird.
"She's not coming because she's teaching a water ballet class." I answered.
"You'll do great just relax." Pirate Princess said while Izzy was sorting my jacket out.
Owlette's POV
As we got our comic books, we decided to go back on the bus.
"What's your transfer?" The driver asked.
"I don't think I have a transfer." Bart told me as I was now annoyed.
"BART!!" I yelled.
"Here is my transfer Mr. Driver!" I said as I showed him my transfer.
Can I get on without a transfer?" Bart wanted to know.
"No!" The driver answered.
As I try to get past Bart, he then put his arm in front of me.
"Hey, Bart." I said.
As Bart was tried to get past me again, he blocked me from getting on the bus again.
"Are you actually getting on the bus without me?" Bart wanted to know.
"Yeah, I have to get the costumes." I told him as he took my transfer out of my hands and ripped it in pieces.
"Woah." Bart said as I was now shocked and what he just did.
"You did not just ripped my transfer?" I asked as he showed the ripped transfer to me.
Bart's POV
"Is this valid?" I asked.
"No." The driver answered.
"But sir, you saw the transfer." Owlette tried to defend herself.
Izzy's POV
While Stormy was getting her headshot done, it wasn't looking very good at all. Every time the Flash goes off, she squints her eyes, and rubs them in the process.
"It hurts." Stormy cried.
"This is just the practice round you got this." The photographer exclaimed.
"Okay." Stormy answered as her eyes were wide open again so she can get used to the flash.
Once stormy was going off the worst poses she could ever think of, she was doing terrible. I can see it in my eyes that she's uncomfortable in front of the camera. That's when the photographer turned around to me and the pirate princess and started to ask us a question.
"Can we try another costume on her please?" The photographer wanted to know.
"Sure! Come on Stormy!" Pirate Princess exclaimed as we looked at each other and nodded our head to the photographer.
Stormy's next look was rockstar, as she was having some Rockstar sign up and ending up playing the guitar in the air. I can see that Stormy wasn't still getting it.
"Ladies can we get another costume on her?" The photographer asked us.
"Yeah!" We both said as a princess carried stormy away while she was still playing the guitar.
After the photographer asked me remember this was going great, it's not, I started to feel discouraged. I don't want my career to end at headshots. That's when Peter came over to us.
"It looks like it's going really good." Peter exclaimed.
"Actually Mr. Pan, it's not I had better pictures of a monkey than this." The photographer said.
"Okay, how about we take a break." Peter suggested as we all took one.
Once Peter, Izzy and Pirate Princess walked up to me. Peter began to speak.
"What's wrong Stormy?" Peter asked.
"I'm feeling uncomfortable being in front of the camera." I told him.
"Okay, calm down. Where do you feel most comfortable at?" Peter wanted to know.
"Surfing!" I answered.
"Okay, great now just pretend that your surfing." Peter suggested as Izzy began to smile and helps me to take my high heels off.
As I began to do cool surfing tricks, the photographer gets his camera out and takes my picture. At the end of my photoshoot I felt really good about it.
I suppose I am better than a monkey.
Once the photo was taken, Peter Izzy, Pirate Princess and I looked at my headshot as we all hugged together.
Owlette's POV
While Bart and I were on their way to the costume shop, Bart's grandpa appeared as he started to talk to him.
I began to get annoyed but I didn't say anything as they kept on talking. That's when grandpa Simpson started to talk about his old days.
"Are you kidding me right now?" I wanted to know in my head.
Bart's POV
As we finally arrived at the costume shop, it was closed as I spent more time with Owlette and it just backfired on me.
"No, no no no no! We're too late and it's closed because of you and your Bart ness. You followed me into the bus stop, and talking about your neighborhood like I even cared. And then you made me get off the bus to get a stupid comic book that I don't like, and let me tell you more Bart Simpson. By the time we got back you literally ripped my transport so we could take a stupid shortcut to the park and then meet your weird grandpa. Nice man by the way, but still weird." Owlette told me.
As I thought deep down, I was glad that I came but Owlette was really mad at me right now.
"And by the time we got to the costume shop, we're too late. And now, it's closed!" Owlette exclaimed.
"Do you understand that Bat?" Owlette asked.
"It means we'll be dancing in our underpants." Owlette exclaimed.
I knew that I messed up, but I'm gonna fix it.
"Are you done, yelling at me?" I asked as I sat down next to her on the bench.
"Don't worry, I'll get us in the store." I told her as I softly smiled.
"Watch this." I told her.
As I went over to the window, I began to knock on the window as I looked at Owlette.
One of the workers go over to me and started to speak.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, hey kid we're closed." The workers said.
""Can you let us in please?* I asked as he then pointed to the sign that read sorry we're closed.
The worker doesn't let me in.
"We're from the Never Dance." I exclaimed as the worker just walked away.
"I'm not done yet." I told Owlette as I started to drumming on the door with my hands.
The owner walks over to me and started to ask me a question.
"What are you doing with my glass?" The owner asked as I tried to speak.
"We're closed, go away." The owner told me.
"We're from the Never Dance, let us in!, We need our costumes" I said while pointing at Owlette.
"I'm going on vacation come back in three weeks." The owner exclaimed.
"But we're from The Never Dance." I explained again.
"Yeah, yeah, yeah come back in three weeks." The owner repeated.
"What?" I asked shocked.
Every time the owner said no the more I felt like I'm losing Owlette more, more, and more.
"I'm still not done." I told her.
"Yep." Owlette said.
As I walked over to the door again, I began to drum on it once again
I wasn't going to give up this.
The workers came over to the window, and I walked over to the middle of the pavement and did a backflip.
"Come on let me in! Please let me know, I just flipped.
"Owlette, join me please." I said as she got up and joined me.
The song that we were dancing to was the Monkee's theme song.
It's nice to see Owlette get loose.
"Please let us in." We both said after our dance was finished while workers clapped their hands.
"What do you think guys, should we let them?" The owner asked his team.
"Yeah, let the kids in." They all said as Owlette was now happy.
"Yes! Thanks Bart." Owlette thanked me as hugged me and then placed a kiss on my cheek.
"Aww man." I said while blushing. As the owner opened the door for us and we walked inside the building.
Owlette's POV
As Bart and I were now on the bus, I was seeing Bart in different light as began to hold hos hand which Bart notices and he smiles as he said nothing as held mind back.
