Chapter 15 Heartbreak

Izzy's POV

As everyone was in Studio A and has their up, while getting ready for rehearsal Red Jessica and Peter came in.

"Dancer's can I have your attention please? Peter has an announcement to make." Red Jessica said.

"I just wanted to let you all know that our application for regionals has been confirmed." Peter told us we all cheered and clapped our hands along with hugging.

We're so much closer to Regionals.

"We know what that means it's game time so get your game face on." Red Jessica exclaimed.

"Regionals are in a month so we have a lot of work to do." Peter told us.

"Please get to work." Red Jessica said as we cheered.

As I walked over to Jake, I needed to talk to him.

"Hey Jake can we talk?" I wanted to know.

"Sure." Jake answered.

I need us to get back into our relationship it's very important that we work as a team and that he's part of the team.

"Jake, I just wanted to make sure that we're okay." I said.

"What do you mean okay?" Jake exclaimed.

"We need to get back into our relationship to make this work." I told him.

"You're asking me to be your boyfriend again." Jake wanted to know.

"Well..." I started to say but Jake cut me off.

"You went behind my back, you helped John with his dancing, and stole my spot as dance captain." Jake exclaimed.

"There's no chance we will ever be together again we're over." Jake told me.

"All I came over to tell you is that I want you to help me out. We could be like co-captains." I said as Jake started to laugh.

"I'm not a co-Captain to anyone. And another thing, we are OVER!!" Jake exclaimed as he walked away from me.

As I walked back over to Cubby, Owlette, Finn and Misty, we turned around and saw Bart come in with his mother, talking to Peter and Red Jessica. I really don't know what's going on with Bart. I've been seeing his mom in here a couple of times and it's just kind of scary. We then saw them go into Peter's office.

Cubby's POV

As I went to go talk to Stormy, I started to speak.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Nothing." Stormy answered.

"How's the acting? How is that going with the agent?" I wanted to know.

"Whatever." Stormy said.

"What's up! Tell me!" I exclaimed.

That's nice, uh I don't want to talk to you." Stormy told me.

"Why wouldn't you want to talk to me?" I asked.

"So you can leave!" Stormy said.

"Okay this is not about the whole Captain with Jake and Izzy?" I exclaimed.

"This is really what this is about?" I wanted to know.

"Whatever." Stormy repeated.

"Just because the team was divided and I chose Izzy doesn't mean we can't be a couple." I told her.

"That's exactly what it means." Stormy said.

"Stormy we've been through so much, we are going tonight this one thing come between our relationship? We're soulmates." I told her.

"I thought that I thought that too... I actually thought we were the perfect couple." Stormy said.

"Okay." I exclaimed.

"And you were unloyal you proved that you're not a loyal boyfriend." Stormy told me.

"Really or did I approve of that thinking about the team for once. And choosing what's best for the team?" I asked.

Everything's now falling apart.

"Protect yourself really, who went behind my back and help with creating a new regionals routine and you didn't even tell me where you were going." Stormy said.

"Not only Jake lost his captaincy, but I lost my boyfriend. Oh yeah and so did you, you lost your girlfriend." Stormy exclaimed as she walked away.

After Stormy walked away, I was now really angry and upset.

Bart's POV

As Peter Red Jessica and my mom walked over to the team Red Jessica started to speak.

"Dancers we have another announcement to make." Red Jessica told us.

"Miss. Marge." Red Jessica called on Bart's mom.

"This is Bart's Mother." Red Jessica introduced us to her.

"Red Jessica um actually retrospect anything this is an announcement that Bart Simpson my son, should make himself to his friends I think they deserve that." Mom told her.

"Um as of today, um I'm being pulled from Troupe A." I told them.

"What?" They all exclaimed.

"You're not in Troupe A anymore?" Cubby asked.

"Nah, man I'm sorry I let you guys down." I apologized.

"Why?" Cubby wanted to know.

"Um...my math grades are slipping a bit. It's not a big deal though." I told them.

"You know I beg to differ Bart they're not slipping, a bit in math he just failed his math exam." Mom excalaimed.

"I thought we knew..." Izzy almost finished but Mom interrupted her.

"He KNEW, that this was the consequence of that." Mom told her.

"No! He KNEW that this was the consequence of that. And I'm sorry that it's come to this I really am. Cos I know it puts you in a bind but I don't feel like I have a choice he's out." Mom said.

"I think that I am only left with one decision and that's to call him out of the studio, I'm sorry but that's how it's going to be." Mom told them.

"There's no more that we can get into dance with us at regionals?" Cubby exclaimed.

"No, I'm sorry but he needs to spend time on his studies." Mom answered as Owlette looked at me then at my mom.

That's when I quickly looked at the team after making eye contact with Owlette.

Izzy's POV

As I walked over to Bart's mother, i started to speak.

"I have an idea." I said.

"I'm sorry, who are you?" Marge asked.

"I'm Izzy the dance Captain." I told her.

"So you were saying." Marge exclaimed.

"Oh yeah, Bart leaves for 2 weeks focuses on his studies, and brings up his grades. Because we really need him for regionals." I told her.

"I understand that Izzy, but Bart promised me these things before." Marge said.

"And Bart will do, what he always does which is fine something more fun to do than a math and that's not hard. Root canals at the dentist are more fun than math." Marge said.

"You know you blow it off Bart!" Marge said to her son as she started to put her foot down really hard.

It's important that I do convince her.

"Now that we all know, we now or want to fix it right guys?" I asked the team.

"Mrs. Simpson, you know what? So I could definitely help your son." Cubby exclaimed.

"We can all help him." I told her.

"I don't know." Marge said.

"Please!!" I started begging as I got down on my knees. Along with everyone else doing the same well cubby was trying to don't know what's going on with him. Even Peter Pan and Red Jessica were doing the same thing.

"Mrs Marge! Please?" Cubby pleaded.

"You, zip it." Marge told Bart.

We were all still begging Marge.

"All right, I give up okay you guys can help my son." Marge cave in.

"Yes!" I exclaimed as everyone cheered and I clapped my hands.

We all finally got up from the floor, Owlette was helping Cubby to get up for some reason.

Marge's POV

"Okay, hold on hold on, hold on! I know I'm still talking because my lips are still moving. So listen good. I don't want to see any dancing from you for 2 weeks Bart. And I mean it! No class, no rehearsal, no Studio no Troupe A. I don't want to see so much as a flap ball change from you Bart. And I'm warning you if those grades do not improve, I will tour jet your skinny behind into military school so fast, your head will spin. Do you see how serious I am?" I asked.

"Yeah mom." Bart answered as we hugged.

"Oh." I exclaimed as everyone was giving me a hug.

Izzy's POV

My plans finally work, I'm just so glad that I could convince Bart's mother.

That's when we pulled apart.

"You are very persuasive." Marge said.

"Thank you ma'am." I thanked her.

"And I'm going to tell you something I'm getting soft in my old age." Marge told us as we all laughed.

"Two weeks!" Marge said.

"Two weeks." Cubby exclaimed.

"Two weeks." I said.

"Two weeks." Cubby answered.

Come on Bart we've got to go." Marge told him as they were leaving.

"Dude two weeks." Cubby called out.

"Thanks guys." Bart thanked us.

"Yeah!" Cubby exclaimed.

Everyone started to clap and cheer as they praised me. Apart from Jake.

Bart's POV

As my mom and I were leaving Studio A, I heard Owlette calling name.

"Bart, wait up!" Owlette called as i turned around so she can get my attention.

"Oh look Bart, Mommy's having a hot flush okay?" Mom said.

"I'll meet you at the car. What? What? Am I embarrassing you?" Mom asked.

"Really." Mom said as she was stroking my hair back.

"Mom!" I told her.

"I am embarrassing you?" Mom exclaimed.

Ay Caramba!" I exclaimed.

"Well, that's good because I was put on Earth's to embarrass you." Mom said.

"Don't be long." Mom reminded me.

"Alright." I told her.

"You've got homework." Mom said.

"Yeah." I answered.

As I turned back to Owlette, I started to speak to her.

"Listen I am so sorry about that whole math thing." I apologized.

"I know." Owlette said.

"I don't know what to do. Tell me." I said.

"Tell me Owlette please what am I supposed to do?" I asked.

"I have a proposition for you. If you get a 70% on your next math exam no less than 70%, I'll go on a date with you." Owlette said as i began to smile.

"Well, what makes you think I want to date you though?" I asked as I got closer to her.

"I dunno, do you?" Owlette asked.

Just seeing Owlette standing there and just asking if she liked me made me like her all the more. Because I could never figure out this girl.

I could never figure it out and by her saying that she pretty much was agreeing to like me back. I smiled.

"So, it's a deal?" Owlette asked.

"Yeah, I think it's the best deal I've ever made." I told her.

"I'll see you later?" I wanted to know as she kissed my cheek.

"Yeah." Owlette answered.

Izzy's POV

"The routine is looking awesome!" Peter exclaimed as rehearsal began.

"Thanks Peter!" I thanked him.

"I still feel like we can spruce it up." Peter exclaimed.

"Okay." I answered.

"This is regionals we want to pull out the best tricks." Red Jessica told us.

"It's good to see some of troupe B, here as well set an example." Red Jessica said.

"Thank you for being here I appreciate the dedication. People from Troupe B come to Troupe A rehearsals. Because they want to get better." I said.

"Perfect! Take it away Izzy." Peter told me.

Once I turned around to face the team, I began to talk.

"Um, right now, I just want to mess around with everyone's ideas." I exclaimed.

"Cos, I don't want it to just be all of the same choreography no. I want everyone to include their ideas." I told each and every one of them.

everyone agrees with me about what I want to do.

"Okay, so let's put some music on!" I said with excitement.

"Yeah!" Everyone said as I turned the music on.

"Just make a circle whatever you want." I told them.

"Sure." Cubby answered as the music started to play.

Everyone began to show off their dance skills. It's really fun to see my mates dancing their own dance.

It feels like a group effort now instead of just what the dance captain wants. Everyone begins to dance except Jake.

He was just sitting on the floor.

Everyone started to laugh while having a great time, everyone's moves is so unique and different. It just gives us another reason why they're routine is going to be killer.

"Okay position everyone." I told them as they got into their positions.

"Let's take it from turns. 5, 6, 7, 8..." I said as we started to dance.

"1, 2, and 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8." I repeated.

"One, two, three, four, five, six, and seven." I repeated again.

"Um, Izzy?" Cubby was trying to get my attention.

"1.." I was about to continue counting but Cubby interrupted me.

"Um, can I take a 5 minute break please?" Cubby asked.

"Right now?" I said.

"Yeah, I...I...I really need it I'll be quick." Cubby told me.

Cubby's POV

"Go ahead!" Izzy exclaimed as I smiled.

"Thank you!" I thanked her as I left studio A.

I thought my ankle was just a little tweak maybe a little sprain, and I am still really surprised that it's taking song long to heal. I began to slightly limp in the pain as I closed the door behind me. I limps in the pain some more as I began to put my hand on the wall. I then bring my ankle up towards me. It's really really tight and jammed up so I hope that I can keep dancing

I then began to wines in pain, as I leaned against the wall and looked at my ankle.

Jake's POV

As I saw Stormy walked over to me she started to speak.

"Hey, Jake what's up?" Stormy exclaimed.

"You sure you still want to be seen with me?" I asked.

"Shush." Stormy shushed me.

"So, um Cubby came up to me earlier he gave me a speech about how we should still be a couple and like he didn't mean to hurt me and all this stuff and..." Stormy said as I cut her off.

"What did you do?" I asked.

"I broke up woth him." Stormy answered which really shocked me.

"I broke up with Izzy." I told her.

"Like I was yelling. Did you hear?" Stormy asked.

"No." I said.

"This means, got our friendship group has spread up." I exclaimed.

"I don't know how to tell the kids that the mother and father aren't together anymore. You're going to be so disappointed. Even Princess." I told her.

"I know." Stormy exclaimed.

"I had the best of both worlds. You know, I thought that mean Izzy and I would grow old together, have kids together, and get married. But no she left me." I explained.

"Cubby, left me. And he was my best friend. At one time but they both left." I told her.

"I will always be there for you okay Jake." Stormy said.

"And another note she's so never going to make it as dance captain." Stormy exclaimed.

"Thanks for the reassurance, Stormy." I thanked her.

"But to be honest, she's not exactly doing horribly. I think she's doing a good job as dance Captain more than me." I said while she shrugged her shoulders.

Izzy's POV

"So, we need to get down to business! You guys all know the lyrical choreo?" I asked as some of them nod.

"If you don't let's teach it to you." I said.

"Five, six, seven, eight.." I counted as we started.

Cubby's POV

As I was slightly limping over to Jake, who was sitting on the floor I sat down next to him. I know we kind of ended things on rough patch with doing a new regionals routine behind his back, but I just want to make things right.

"Hey Jake, give me talk as brothers not dancers please?" I asked.

"Cubby, left me. And he was my best friend. At one time but they both left." I told her.

"I will always be there for you okay Jake." Stormy said.

"And another note she's so never going to make it as dance captain." Stormy exclaimed.

"Hey Jake, give me talk as brothers not dancers please?" I asked.

"As dancers, we have nothing to talk about. As brothers, we have even less, you're not even my little brother anymore." Jake told me as he started to stand up and walk away.

Once Jake was gone, I began to get really upset. It feels like Jake is getting further and further away from me. That he said we're not even Brothers really hurt. I don't regret training in on the choreography. It's the right thing to do. On a personal level, maybe it was a bad choice. I just lost my big brother.

That's when red Jessica started to crowds down to my level to make sure I was all right.

"Are you okay, Cubby?" Read Jessica wanted to know if I was okay as I just am not in my head in response even though I wasn't fine.

"Do you want to talk to me in the office?" Red Jessica asked.

"No, thank you." I told her.

"Actually, yes I do want to talk to you and Peter Pan's office alone." I told her as I was trying to get up from the floor.

"Do you need help getting up cubby?" Red Jessica exclaimed.

"Yes." I told her as she helped me.
