It was now time for the company Christmas party. She was getting ready. She was wearing a black dress and a pair of flats. This is the first time that Oliver has seen her dressed up.
"Chrissy, can you help me tie my tie?" Aaron and Justin asked, walking into her room.
She sighed. "Both of you should know how to tie a tie."
They pouted at their sister.
"Come on then," she said, gesturing them over.
She tied Aaron's tie first and then moved on to Justin's tie.
"Thanks."
"No problem. How do I look?"
"You look pretty, sis. Oliver will definitely enjoy it."
She smiled. "Thanks."
"I'm meeting Liza there," Justin grinned.
"Michael said he would come later."
"Oliver's here!" Sheila yelled.
Christina grinned as she walked down the stairs to greet her boyfriend.
"You look gorgeous, Chrissy," Oliver grinned looking at her.
"Thanks, Ollie. You look handsome too," she smiled.
He took her hand as they waited for the rest of her family to finish getting dressed. The group soon traveled to the company party.
"Hey Christina," Amber greeted.
She smiled. "Hey Amber."
A man walked over to Amber and put his arm around her. "Hey love."
"Hey Bo."
"Bo?" Oliver asked.
"You two know each other?"
Oliver nodded. "Yes, he's my agent."
"You're famous?" Amber asked.
"I play rugby."
Amber nodded. She wasn't familiar with sports so she didn't question any further. Oliver rarely left Christina's side that night. By the end of the night, he was slightly tipsy. He accompanied Christina home.
"Do you want me to spend the night?" Oliver asked.
She thought for a moment. "You did have a bit to drink, didn't you?"
"Yes, I did."
"I'd feel better if you spent the night. Effie isn't home since she's spending the night with Teddy and Victorie."
Oliver nodded.
They walked in the house and Christina handed Oliver his pajamas.
"Thanks love."
"No problem, I'm glad you came. Those parties are so boring."
"My party will be more fun."
She nodded. "Okay. Come find me in my room when you're dressed."
"Okay."
She walked away and Oliver quickly changed out of his dressy clothes and into the comfortable clothes. He walked to Christina's room and knocked softly.
"Come in."
He walked in to see Christina in the middle of changing since she didn't have a shirt on.
"I can come back when you're done, love."
She shook her head. "It's fine, Ollie."
"Okay."
"How do I look?"
He looked closer at his girlfriend's breasts.
"How do I look?" she repeated.
"You look amazing, love."
She said. "That's good."
"Your bed looks comfy," he mentioned.
She giggled. "Cheeky, aren't we, Wood?"
He winked at her. She sat on the bed after finishing getting dressed. She crawled into bed.
"So, can I share your bed?"
"You can."
He crawled into bed next to her.
"I'll just warn you I haven't shared a bed with anyone in awhile."
"Same here."
She smiled at him.
"Goodnight, Chrissy."
"Night, Ollie. Happy Birthday."
"Thanks."
They fell asleep.
—
The next morning, Christina woke up to Oliver's arm around her waist and him softly snoring in her ear. She smiled at him.
A few minutes later, the door opened and her daughter snuck in and jumped on the bed.
"Morning mummy."
"Morning Effie. Did you have fun with Vic and Teddy?"
She nodded.
A second later, Oliver popped up and began to tickle Effie who let out a loud giggle. Christina grinned at the scene.
After a few seconds he stopped tickling Effie and turned to greet Christina with a kiss on the cheek. They got out of bed and walked down to the kitchen to see Aaron and Michael snogging.
Christina cleared her throat with a smirk.
"Oh, morning you two," Aaron greeted his sister and her boyfriend.
"Morning."
"It's nice to see you again, I'm sorry you had to wake up to me snogging your brother."
"It's alright."
Aaron said. "I've caught her and Oliver snogging too."
"What's snogging?" Effie asked.
"Nothing, sweetie. What do you want for breakfast?"
"Cereal and toast."
She nodded and poured some cereal for her daughter as Oliver got out some bread and put in the toaster.
"Strawberry jam?"
"Yes, please."
Oliver waited for a moment and they sat down.
"Oliver?" Bethany asked.
"What is it, Effie?"
She squirmed in her chair nervously. "Do you think I could start calling you dad?"
"I'd like that, as long as it's okay with your mum."
Christina smiled. "It's fine, Effie's been wanting to call you dad for a bit."
"Okay."
They finished eating and Oliver helped clean up. After clean up, he started to say goodbye
"So, I'll see you in a few days for my team party?"
"Okay."
He smiled and kissed her passionately before leaving.
