It was now the day of Oliver's team Christmas party. Christina had been over Oliver's house since early that morning helping him prepare food and clean his house. But to his credit, the house wasn't that messy and he was a decent cook. So, he was working on some Beef Wellington while she was baking a cake in team colors.

While the cake was in the oven, she began getting dressed. She had chosen a navy blue sweater dress with a pair of gold and black tights.

"You look beautiful in team colors, love," Oliver smiled walking in his room.

"You think so?"

"Definitely."

She smiled at him as he walked over and kissed her. The kiss deepened slightly.

"Oi! Get a room, you two!"

Oliver and Christina separated promptly as Oliver glared at a smirking Katie.

"Nice to see you again, Christina," Katie laughed.

"You too, Katie."

Alicia walked in. "I told you not to interrupt them, Kats."

"You're no fun, Lia," she pouted.

Alicia smiled at Christina. "It's nice to see you again."

"You too, Alicia."

Oliver took Christina's hand and led her downstairs to properly introduce her to the rest of the team.

"So, this is the famous Christina?" Adam asked, looking at Christina curiously.

Oliver grinned. "Yes, this is Christina."

"I'm Adam Lincoln, the captain and head chaser of this merry band of idiots," he laughed.

"I'm Todd Yorke. I'm the seeker."

The two beaters Sam and Calvin introduced themselves and the third chaser Natalie introduced herself.

"So, how did you meet Oliver?"

She smiled. "Technically we bumped into each other at a Quidditch match last September. But we didn't officially meet until we went on our disastrous first date in February."

"You're a muggle, aren't you?" Todd asked, confused.

"I am, but my youngest brother is a wizard and I've always been fascinated with his world. My daughter is a witch and obsessed with Quidditch. She hopes to be a seeker," she bragged about her baby brother and her daughter as Oliver wrapped his arm around her waist.

"Oh, what house was your brother in?"

"He was a Puff."

Adam asked. "So, he must've had to go on the run?"

"He did. I was so worried about him."

Adam nodded. "Yeah, I was worried about my cousins Joanna and Jason too."

Oliver walked over and wrapped his arm around Christina's waist and kissed her forehead.

"I'm still surprised that Oliver is obsessed with something else that's not Quidditch," Katie laughed.

Christina smiled. "I think his obsession with Quidditch is cute."

"Do you know he slept with the Quidditch Cup that we won in our fifth year?" Alicia giggled.

"I never slept with the Quidditch Cup!" Oliver denied.

Christina teased. "Percy told me a different story."

Oliver pouted for a second. "That redheaded prat!"

The girls giggled at Oliver's little tantrum.

After a little while, they started to migrate towards the kitchen.

"It smells great in here."

"Thanks. I made Beef Wellington and Chrissy made a cake decorated in team colors that happened to match her outfit."

"They happen to also be Ravenclaw colors," Katie said.

Oliver grimaced. "Yeah, it does feel weird that we wear Ravenclaw colors."

"Says the Gryffindor!"

Oliver laughed. They sat down and started to eat.

"Who knew Oliver was a decent cook," Adam laughed.

"It was delicious but I hope you saved some room for Chrissy's cake though," Oliver said as he began to clear the plates.

Christina got up and began serving the cake to Oliver's teammates.

"This is delicious."

"Thanks."

Soon after the meal, the team began to trickle out of Oliver's house. The last ones to leave were Katie and Alicia.

"Did you have fun, Chrissy?"

"I did."

Oliver smiled. "I'm glad. My teammates seem to like you."

She nodded silently.

"Everything okay, love?"

"I'm fine, Ollie."

He nodded as he began undressing and then he got into bed. Christina followed him and snuggled up to him.

This party helped her get her mind off everything that had been going on with her ex but she needed to tell him soon enough.

The next morning, Christina woke up with her head nestled into Oliver's broad chest. She couldn't help but notice a few wet spots on his chest. Curses, she must've cried in her sleep.

A few seconds later, Oliver woke up and stretched his arms over his head before kissing Christina's forehead in greeting.

"Morning."

"Morning."

He looked down at her. "Are sure you're okay, love?"

"Nothing a little snogging session can't fix," she said, pulling him down for a kiss.

He pushed her away. "I usually don't turn down a snogging session but I know something's wrong."

"Then don't push me to tell you like you always do."

"Chrissy, I'm not pushing you at all."

She jumped out of bed, began getting dressed and leaving without a goodbye. The minute she got home she broke down crying.
