Chapter 19
The next few weeks were busy since Scott was arrested much to Christina's relief. She could move on with Oliver. She had decided to move in with him. Her brothers, Oliver's dad and dad were helping her move while Bethany was being babysat by Emma.
"Did we carry everything in?"
"Just about."
"What's left?"
Christina saw Oliver wink at his dad and she looked at her dad and brother confused. Oliver just came over and picked her up.
"Ollie, put me down," Christina giggled.
He didn't respond, he just smirked and carried her over the threshold.
"I said put me down, Oliver Sebastian Wood!"
He gave her a kiss and put her down.
"Why did you do that?"
"I thought I'd carry you over the threshold."
"You'll have to do it again if we get married," Christina smiled.
"Gladly," He smiled, capturing her lips in another kiss.
The kiss deepened considerably. Oliver's arms just above her arse and her hands were tangled in his hair. Their tongues explored each other's mouths. Christina moaned softly against Oliver's lips as she felt Oliver grin as she moaned.
"You two save that for later," Justin and Aaron teased their sister and her boyfriend.
Christina thanked her brothers, her dad and Oliver thanked his dad before they left.
"So, when do you want to make love for the first time?" Christina asked.
Oliver shrugged. "Anytime you're ready."
"I know you said I didn't need to visit a healer to check on my fertility but I think I'd like to visit one."
"That's up to you, I'm only here to facilitate the decision," he laughed.
She giggled along as she walked towards the library that Oliver had showed her. He rarely used it since he wasn't a reader. She grabbed a book about dragons and curled up in a big chair.
"So, what do you want for dinner, love?" Oliver asked, walking into the library a few hours later.
She looked up from her book. "Maybe some Chinese food."
"That sounds delicious."
"It does, doesn't it?"
"I'll order it."
She nodded and continued reading. A while later, she walked down the stairs and set the table.
About an hour later, the food was delivered and they ate dinner. They sat on the couch and turned on the tv. She flipped through the channels.
"Ooh, one of my favorite shows is on," she squealed happily.
"What is this show?"
"It's called Doctor Who. And it looks like it's also my favorite Doctor, Sylvester McCoy," she replied.
"How many Doctors have there been?"
"Eight. Sylvester McCoy is the seventh. His episodes first aired in September 1987 and ended in December 1989."
"So, they would've started airing in my first year and ended the winter of my third year."
"That sounds about right."
They continued watching the show until it was time to go to bed.
"I think I'll move Bethany in by the end of the week if that's okay."
"That sounds good, I'll show you her room."
"Okay."
He led her to Bethany's room.
"She's going to love it, Oliver!" she said, hugging her boyfriend.
"I hope so."
She gave Oliver a kiss. He let his hands wander as their kiss deepened and her hands went to his hair. They soon stumbled back to their room and fell on the bed.
They snogged for a few more minutes and fell asleep.
—
A few days later, she brought Bethany over to move in.
"Mummy, I love this room," Bethany exclaimed looking at her room.
She smiled. "I had a feeling you would, sweetie."
"Can we get a dog?" she asked.
"Let me ask, Oliver. It's his house."
Bethany nodded and Christina went to go find Oliver.
"Hey love, how does our daughter like her room?"
Her heart warmed a little at Oliver calling Bethany 'our daughter' and tears welled in her eyes.
"Did I say something wrong?"
"No. You just called Bethany 'our daughter'," she said looking up at him lovingly.
"Isn't she 'our daughter'?"
"She is but I never expected you to call her your daughter, especially this early in our relationship."
"We've been together for nearly a year, Chrissy. I'm all in."
She sniffled again. "You already know what Scott refers to her as."
Oliver frowned. "Yes, he referred to her as a freak for having magic like your brother."
"Yeah, he did. He's been referring to her like that since he found out and we used to argue about it non-stop."
"No one is a freak in this house."
"At least not in the traditional way anyway," she laughed, sending a cheeky wink at Oliver.
Oliver chuckled.
"Daddy! Can we get a dog?" Bethany asked running in the kitchen.
"What type of dog do you want, Effie?"
"I don't know. One I can play with."
Oliver chuckled again. "You can play with any of them unless they're not active."
"Yay!"
Oliver smiled and Bethany ran out of the kitchen.
"Since we're talking about pets, can we get a cat too?" Christina asked.
"That's fine."
"I was forced to give up my last cat because Scott claimed he was allergic."
Oliver nodded again. "What type of dog do you want for Effie?"
"Pitbulls have a bad reputation but I've read they're actually good canine companions and amazing with kids and babies."
"Is this your way of saying that you're ready to have a shag?" Oliver asked.
"It is."
Oliver nodded.
