It was now the day of the party Christina was finishing up the cake. She had been up since early morning since their daughter was rather active.
"You almost ready, Chrissy?" Oliver asked, knocking on their bedroom door.
"Almost, Ollie."
A few minutes later, she waddled out of their bedroom wearing the same dress she wore the year before but just with alterations to accommodate her newly twenty four week pregnant belly.
Most of the time, Oliver had a hard time keeping his eyes off her belly. He couldn't believe their daughter was growing in her belly.
"Do I look alright?"
"You look perfect."
She smiled and went to grab the cake from their ice box. They travelled to Adam's mansion in the outskirts of Cardiff.
"Hey you two," he greeted warmly.
"Hey Adam."
His hazel eyes noticed the cake in Christina's hands. "I didn't expect the cake seeing the fact that you're heavily pregnant."
"She's been awake since around six. Mainly because our daughter was active this morning. And you underestimate my amazing girlfriend."
"Apparently, I do," Adam laughed, taking the cake from Christina.
Before Christina could respond a girl with brunette hair walked in.
"Hey Adam," she greeted.
"Hey Jo, this is my team mate Oliver and his girlfriend Christina."
"It's nice to meet you, I'm Joanna Krum," she smiled.
Oliver blinked in surprise. "You're married to Viktor Krum?"
"Yes, I am. We've been married for almost a year and we have a daughter named Vanessa," she explained with a smile.
"Who's Viktor Krum?" Christina asked.
"He was the seeker for the Bulgarian National team but he retired a few years ago," Oliver explained.
"Oh, okay."
Oliver led Christina to the living room where most of the team was with their respective significant others.
"Hey Oliver," Todd greeted first.
"Hey Todd."
He turned to Christina. "I forgot that you're heavily pregnant."
"Just started my twenty-fourth week today."
"Is this your first?" the girl next to Todd asked.
Christina shook her head. "It's not my first since I have a six-year-old daughter from my first marriage."
"You were married?"
"I've been divorced longer than I was married. But I rather not talk about my previous relationship since I'm insanely happy with Oliver," she grinned.
"And I'm insanely happy with you too, Chrissy," Oliver grinned widely, wrapping his arm around her waist and resting his hand on her belly as their daughter kicked.
"When are you due?" Sam's wife Faith asked.
"Late March or early April," Christina replied.
Faith nodded. "I mean you already have a daughter but at least we're not the only ones with kids on the team."
"I didn't know you had kids."
"Who do you think Oliver got some advice about being a father?" Sam asked.
"He's rather close to his dad."
"I got advice from my dad too but Sam also has a child that isn't biologically his."
"You do?"
"Yes, I do. Faith was pregnant when I met her. She gave birth a few months into our relationship."
Christina nodded as Oliver led her to the couch to help her sit down. She started talking to the rest of the significant others.
About 20 minutes later, it was time for dinner Oliver escorted her to the table.
"So, I'm not that good of a cook but I tried my hand at some Shepherd's Pie," Adam explained, setting down the plate in the middle of the table.
The group started to serve themselves, eat and chat.
"So, how is your daughter dealing with the pending arrival of her sister?"
"She's super excited. She even suggested a name."
"What name did she suggest?"
"Susan. After Susan Pensive from the Chronicles of Narnia, Oliver's sister Emma has been reading those books."
"Oh, that's a decent name. Most young kids suggest weird names."
"It is but it might be her middle name once we decide on her first name."
"What are the choices?
"Leah, Megan, Harper, Millie and Freya," Oliver listed as he took a bite of his Shepherd's Pie.
"Harper Susan Wood sounds good," Alicia said.
Katie thought for a moment. "I like Harper too. Will she go by Wood or Finch-Fletchley?"
"I suppose Wood. It's hard to hyphenate our names unless there's a way for me to change my last name to Wood without having to marry Oliver."
"I'm sure there's a way since we're not getting married anytime soon," Oliver said finishing his dinner.
After another 20 minutes, the rest of the team was finished with their dinner.
Christina hopped up to grab the cake.
"I can handle the cake, Christina. You sit down next to Oliver," Adam assured her.
Oliver chuckled. "You're not to win this argument, Adam. My Chrissy is rather stubborn."
"Besides, I'm only twenty four weeks along. I can handle passing out slices of cake. It's good to be on my feet anyway."
"Okay, you've convinced me," Adam said.
"So, you two must fight a lot if you're both stubborn?" Katie asked.
Christina said. "We have our share of squabbles but nothing too serious."
"Yeah, besides I may be stubborn but I hate seeing Chrissy upset so if it's my fault I apologize."
Later that night, the couple was snogging passionately on their bed. It was pretty obvious that Oliver wanted to go further.
"Are you sure you want to do this, Ollie?"
"I am but if you're not okay with that. There's no pressure," he assured her.
She sighed. "I definitely want a good fuck but I'm still surprised you find me desirable while I'm pregnant because when I was heavily pregnant with Effie, Scott didn't lay a hand on me for the rest of my pregnancy."
Oliver cupped her face in his hand tenderly. "I haven't proved to you that I'm nothing like Scott the past year and eight months?"
She sniffled. "You have a million times over."
Oliver wiped her tears away with his thumbs but that was just the start of the waterworks. For the second year in a row, Christina cried about Scott in Oliver's arms but at least this time he knew what she was crying about.

The next morning, Oliver woke up. Christina was still fast asleep. She had cried herself to sleep. Oliver gazed at her as the door opened.
"Morning, daddy," Bethany smiled.
"Morning Effie."
"Is mummy alright?"
Oliver nodded. "She's just tired. How about I go start some breakfast."
The little girl nodded and waited for Oliver to get out of bed and Bludger took his spot. They walked downstairs to the kitchen.
"Ollie!" Christina shouted worriedly a few minutes later.
He walked back up to their bedroom and Bludger was whining loudly. "I'm right here, Chrissy."
"I was scared that you left me."
He frowned and went to sit back down next to her as Bludger stopped whining. "I'm right here and I'm not going anywhere."
"Sorry, my abandonment issues are in high gear again."
Oliver stroked her hair.
"I think it's time I start going to therapy again."
Oliver nodded. "Okay, I support your decision."
"At least someone did."
Oliver helped her up and they walked downstairs.
"Mummy, are you alright?" Bethany asked worriedly running over to her mum.
"I'm better now since you and daddy are here," she smiled at her daughter.
Bethany nodded.
"Here's your tea," Oliver said, pressing a warm cup of tea into Christina's hands.
"Thanks, Ollie," she smiled waddling towards their kitchen table.
Oliver continued making breakfast and served it.
