After the holidays, Christina started to attend therapy with her counselor and Oliver tagged along. Christina started to experience Braxton Hicks contractions around Valentine's Day much to Oliver's concern. Though Christina and the healer assured him that they were normal.
On their anniversary, Oliver woke up first.
"Hey little one, today is your mummy and I's anniversary. We've been dating for two years today. I love her so much and I can't wait to meet you in two weeks or so," he told her thirty eight week belly before dropping a kiss on said belly.
A few seconds later, Christina woke up.
"Happy Anniversary, Ollie," she smiled.
He responded with a passionate kiss. It was a shame that it wasn't advised to have sex this far in her pregnancy.
"Our daughter thinks my bladder is a football. I need your assistance getting out of bed."
Oliver hopped up, rushed to her side and escorted her to the loo. After the bathroom trip, he escorted her down to the kitchen. It was his turn to start the tea as Christina fed Bludger and Rugby. Bludger had become even more attached to Christina since she started experiencing Braxton Hicks contractions.
"Who's a good boy?" Christina asked Bludger.
He wagged his tail a million miles an hour.
"It's funny that Bludger was meant to be mine but he ended up more attached to you. Though, you're home more often so it makes sense."
She nodded and stood up again to go wake up Effie for school but Oliver told her to sit down again.
"Ollie, I'm fine. I can go wake up our daughter for school," she assured him.
He relented and she waddled towards Effie's room and knocked. "It's time to get up, Effie."
"Okay, mummy!"
She waited a few minutes and Effie walked out of her room.
"I dressed myself today, mummy."
She smiled fondly. "I can see that. I think you did a good job. Let me brush your hair though."
"Okay, mummy."
Christina grabbed the hairbrush and led her daughter over to the nearest chair to brush her hair. Her daughter's hair was just a bit longer than hers.
"Is my baby sister making you tired today, mummy?"
"Not yet. She causes me to go to the loo a lot though."
She nodded. Christina finished brushing her daughter's hair and they walked to the kitchen to Oliver chatting with Aaron who was picking her up like usual.
"Hey sis," Aaron greeted, hugging his sister.
"Hey Aaron."
"My niece is pretty active isn't she?" he asked.
"She is. I'm not surprised though her daddy is very energetic," she smiled at Oliver.
Aaron nodded. "When is she due again?"
"Two weeks or so. Though, Effie was about a week early so she could be born at any time."
"Have you decided on a name?"
"Millie Susan Wood," Christina said.
Aaron nodded. "That's a cute name."
"Millie is my grandma's name. So, it's an homage to her and Susan was Effie's idea since my sister has been reading her 'The Chronicles of Narnia'."
Aaron nodded.
"Are you ready to go Uncle Aaron?" Effie asked impatiently.
"I am."
Effie hugged her mum and dad before leaving with her uncle. Christina sat down.
"Are you working today?"
"I am. But just for a few hours. I should be back by three. I start at 11."
Oliver nodded. She left for work around 10:30 after a kiss from Oliver. By the time she got back she was home alone since Oliver had left for practice at 2. Bethany wouldn't be home until 4:30.
She sat down to catch a nap since she was super tired.
By the time she woke up, Bethany was home and Oliver was home too.
"Did you have a nice nap?" Oliver asked.
"I did."
Oliver nodded and continued making dinner for them.
Later that night, they were lying in bed.
"I can't wait until I can sleep comfortably in your arms," Christina said, eyeing Oliver's arms.
"Me either."
"I'm sorry we didn't celebrate our anniversary properly today," she apologized.
He shook his head. "It's fine, Chrissy. I understand that you're exhausted from your pregnancy."
"Thanks, Ollie."
He kissed her cheek before they fell asleep.
