Hey all how you all doing? Hope you all had a nice Victoria day with your family or friends. I originally wanted to this chapter to be a lot longer but, I decided to split this into two parts as to not prolong the chapter to long considering I have a lot to say in my notes at the very end. Give me your honest opinions; tell me how should I improve because I want this story to feel like George RR Martin writing (even though I think I am the furthest away from his writing style). I also want to say, thank you so much to the new followers/favorites to this story which means so much to me, you guys liking my just a little bit gives me the best feeling.

Disclaimer: I DO NOT own any of these character names or the story itself. George RR Martin owns all of these characters from his story ASOIAF.

Chapter 4: Bonding

Sansa POV

It had been a week after her talk with Jon, and her life had gotten back to normal. The dreams had ceased to exist, making her rest more peaceful for her. With the dreams gone, she was able to go about her routine without worry. Sansa was overjoyed; the incident that scarred her for life seemed to be a distant memory for her. She was happy that life was able to return to normal, and that she was able to put that dramatic incident behind her. She smiled at her needlework; Sansa was always prided for her work by her peers or Septa Mordane, complementing her exquisite work. She looked up from her lap; across from her was Arya who seemed to be struggling with her needlework.

"Oh Arya, that needlework will not do" replied Septa Mordane distastefully, "Look at that, Arya Horseface failing at her embroidery again" her friend Jeyne Poole whispered to her. Sansa looked at her sister solemnly, despite the clear personality differences and likes she did care for her sister. After the incident, Sansa felt something was off with Arya; she would lock herself in rooms for long periods and constantly watching her every move. It almost felt like having a personal guard watching you every day, and she wondered if she was doing because of being on guard for the unexpected. She was going to get to the bottom of this by getting close to Arya, "Arya, would you like me to come over and help you with your embroidery over there?"

My sister gave me the most disgruntled confused face at me, "I don't need help" she replied turning back to her work. I got up from my seat and made my way over to Arya's position, peering over at her shoulder. The stitches were crooked and placed incorrectly, honestly, Sansa was amazed that her sister was able to create a shape in resemblance to a wolf. "Arya, you're doing it wrong; you should not start your stitch with a knot" "Mind your business" her sister, replied hotly at her. "Arya you should listen to your sister, she is the best in her needlework you could learn a few things from her" replied Septa Mordane, Arya looked up from her embroidery as I gave her a comforting smile. "Fine" she replied as the session continued.

Once they were dismissed for the day, Sansa decided to make her way to the kitchens. As she walked humming to herself, she caught sight of Arya holding a training sword. Why was she with a training sword? She followed Arya discretely, back to her room. Sansa knocked on the door, "Go away" said Arya, "Arya it's me" he could hear frantic movement in the room, and Sansa then decided to break the silence "May I come in?"Arya slowly opened the door allowing her sister to enter; as she did, she noticed how plain her sister's room was and surprisingly neat it was.

"What do you want?" "Can't a sister come and see how their younger sister is doing?" "Except you never visit my room," Arya replied warily, watching Sansa's movement carefully. Sansa eyed her bed suspiciously, there seemed to be something off about it. She kneeled next to the bedside, reaching her hand underneath the mattress. "There's nothing there, just leave" her sister replied trying to pull her sister away from her bed. After digging a while, she felt a metallic object grabbing it and pulling out the training sword. Examining the sword for a second, she turned to her sister asking, "Why do you have this?" "I don't know how that got there" she replied innocently, "Arya, I saw you carrying this down the hall to your room, please tell me why did you have this?"

Arya avoided her eyes, looking at her feet and muttering something, "I'm sorry but I couldn't hear that" "I said that I have the sword for training" the response shocked Sansa for a moment before she continued, "Why are you training for?" Arya looked at her with an annoyed look "I am teaching myself how to fight to protect my family" Sansa was breathless from the answer, "Do you realize how terrifying it is when you are powerless and you can't do anything? I do, when you were attacked by that monster I felt useless and I never want that feeling of being inadequate again." After the outburst from Arya, Sansa placed the sword on a nearby table and kneeled to her level, giving her a comforting hug. Her sister eventually relented, hugging her back.

"Arya, I don't blame you for what happened" she replied soft and precise, "I understand your feeling of being helpless in that situation but, it's in the past now" she now faced face with her sister. "You're not going to tell mother or father of this correct?" Sansa sighed and said, "No, I will keep this secret but please don't do anything stupid, father always chided us that swords are not played things." Her sister nodded and went to grab the sword, swinging it around before asking, "You want to stay and watch me practice?" Sansa thought about that for a moment before replying "No thanks, I am just going to go get a snack from the kitchens" as she made her way to the door before opening it "Arya if you need someone to talk to, don't hesitate to knock" Arya nodded and continued with her training. Sansa walked out closing the door behind her, as she walked her way she felt a tad closer to her sister.

Notes:

Hey all wanted to ask a few questions that could affect the future of the story so give me your honest opinions:

1. Would you like to see the Others (White Walkers) to be in this story? Honestly, I'm unsure if I could write compelling concepts around the Others although, they would be interesting how they would affect the plot.

2. Would you still want to see Sansa go down south? This was the one idea I was thinking about a lot, because once the family realize the condition that Sansa have; Eddard might be hesitating to let Sansa out of his sight. Although, think of the horrible scenarios that Joffrey could make with Sansa's "gift". Although I am wondering if I should allow Joffrey have all the fun or should it be Ramsay cause that guy could probably find twisted ideas on how to utilize her to his pleasure :)

3. Would you like the inclusions of the direwolves as well? If the direwolves are included it could a fun dynamic imagine Sansa being the pack leader to all the wolves due to her curse.

4. Lastly who should be the one to explain the curse to Sansa? Originally, I thought Howland Reed would be the one to explain (my reasoning being that since he knows magic, he may be adept in knowing curses). Of course now thinking about it, that may not seem reasonable. I could create a OC character (akin to a Abraham Van Helsing) but I don't know it that would make sense to have. Tell me what you think.

Anyway read/review and I will see you all later.
