After making love me and Cedric then took it in turns in the bathroom to get ready before we packed our bags and things together to get ready to leave. I still was in shock with what had happened in our short stay in Hogsmeade, but I wouldn't change it for the world. Cedric and I had taken a very important step in our relationship, and I was over the moon! Yes, I knew that this was going to happen at some point, as I knew that there was never going to be anyone else for me apart from Cedric. So, the fact that we were now engaged only made me want to marry and spend the rest of my life with Cedric even more - if that was even possible!
As I finished packing my things together, I then started to imagine what our wedding was going to look like, and I couldn't wait to walk down the aisle towards my future husband. I started to imagine the things we will have at our wedding like lighting and decorations. I know that me and Cedric would need to speak about this, but it is fun to start imagining our wedding.
When we had collected our things together, we then walked out of the room hand in hand, with Cedric quickly placing his bag on the floor to close the door behind us. We then walked down the short corridor hand in hand, very eager to get home so we can move onto the next chapter of our lives.
I stood to the side as Cedric quickly checked us out, and I couldn't help but look over to the clock to see that it was eight fifteen. I then reminded myself that the Hogwarts Express was due to leave at nine o'clock, so we had just timed it right including the walk to the train station.
When we stepped out of the Three Broomsticks, I noticed that it was very overcast outside with black clouds starting to come which made me hope that we would get to the train station before it started to rain. I also noticed that the streets were practically empty, as those who were about to leave Hogsmeade or those setting their businesses up for the day were only in the streets.
Me and Cedric then slowly walked through the streets in silence, and it was perfect. This was something that I loved about mine and Cedric's relationship was that we didn't have to do anything in particular and it was perfect, and we were so settled with it. I still couldn't believe that me and Cedric had managed to find each other, when I said this to Cedric, he told me that as we were sole mates, we were always meant to find each other. This only made me smile when I heard Cedric say this, as it made me love him even more.
When the train station came into view, I started having mixed feelings about returning home, of course part of me knew that we had to go back home and back to the reality of our lives and jobs. And I couldn't wait to see our family and friends to tell them that me and Cedric was now engaged. Where my mixed feelings came from is that I loved it when me and Cedric were able to have a little trip like this, yes me and Cedric lived together but going away like this was different. We were away from the cares and worries of our usual lives, we were able to just be Cedric and Hermione – and I will always cherish moments like this.
We got onto the Hogwarts Express with plenty of time to spare and we were very easily able to find a compartment so we could have some privacy. We cuddled together on one of the side seats and I started to enjoy just being cuddled into my fiancé.
"This just brings back so many memories, doesn't it?" I questioned as the train pulled away to take us back to our reality.
"Yeah" he agreed. "So many fun times" he grinned down at me.
"I did feel a little bit sorry for your friends though" I stated.
"How so?" he questioned as he pulled one brow up in confusion.
"Well as soon as you saw me at the station you came and sat with me" I reminded him.
"They understood," he insisted. "They knew that I hadn't seen you all summer," he added. "And to be fair Mione I did share a dorm with them, it wasn't as if they were never going to see me" he finished.
"True" I agreed. "Very true," I added. "I wonder when the next time we will be up here" I continued. "I mean apart from the wedding" I concluded as I knew that he probably was about to tease me, given our conversation yesterday about when we both wanted to get married.
"I don't know," he replied politely. "But we both love a trip to Hogsmeade," he grinned down at me.
"Yeah" I smiled as I readjusted myself in his arms as I also looked out of the window. As we started to leave Hogsmeade behind us I then started to think about how busy things were about to get for the pair of us, but I didn't mind. I couldn't wait to go through this with Cedric, in fact I couldn't wait to be his wife. I loved him so much, and I was so excited to spend the rest of my life with my dashing white knight.
After climbing off the Hogwarts Express, me and Cedric walked hand in hand as we also carried our bags through the barrier onto Kings Cross. We then quickly walked out of Kings Cross in silence before we walked into a nearby back alley, we both smiled at each other before we both apparated back to our home and back to reality.
We landed outside of our cottage and Cedric let go of my hand to pull out his wand out of his robe pocket as we both walked down the garden path and we he got to the front door he quickly unlocked the door. We then both stepped into the passageway, and I closed the door behind us, and I watched as he placed his bag on the floor before he quickly locked the door once more.
"Now then- "he started as I placed my bag next to his on the floor. "Miss Grainger" he teased as he smiled at me.
"Yes Mr Diggory?" I teased back.
"There is some business that we need to take care of" he advised.
"Really?" I asked as I pulled my right brow up at him. "What?" I quickly added.
"This" he smirked before he bent down, and he quickly picked me up in a bridal hold.
"CEDRIC!" I shrieked which caused him to chuckle. "You have a one-track mind Mr Diggory" I flirted as he then started to walk towards the stairs, which told me that he was carrying me to our bedroom.
"When it comes to my fiancé?" he purred. "Yes!" he exclaimed. "But you are just the same my dear" he winked at me.
"Maybe" I giggled as I heard him chuckle at me as he started to carry me towards our bedroom. Our gazes locked as he continued to carry me into our bedroom, when we were at the left-hand side of our bed, he carefully slid me down onto our bed before he started to undo his robes. I then started to mirror his action as I quickly undoes my robes and I threw them onto the floor, but not before removing my wand from my robes. Me and Cedric quickly smirked at each other as I pointed my wand at myself as I muttered the contraceptive charm before placing it down onto my bedside cabinet.
By the looks of it we didn't want clothing to interrupt us as we both quickly got out of our clothes, and before I knew it, we were both naked looking lustfully at each other. I then watched as Cedric slowly walked around the right-hand side of our bed and he placed his wand down and as he did this; I couldn't help but grin as I kept looking up and down his perfect and chiselled naked body.
I then watched as a large smirk spread across his face before he jumped onto our bed, and I giggled as he quickly climbed on top of me. We then cuddled tightly together as our gazes locked as I couldn't help but sigh as Cedric's lips pressed against mine as I wrapped my arms around his neck.
As Cedric deepened the kiss, I couldn't help but note how things feel different between us now, but in a good way. I felt even closer to Cedric, yes normally we can't keep our hands off each other, but this time it felt different. Every time our skin touched each other's as we fell into a heated make out session it felt more perfect. I couldn't put my finger on why it felt different. But I was enjoying every second of it, and I never wanted it to end. The last thing I can remember before I completely gave myself over to Cedric was that I will never stop loving him, everything we had been through proved this. I loved him so much, my perfect and very dashing white knight.
