"I have already told you-" Cedric growled as he took a step toward Cormac.
"And I have already told you-" Cormac started as he got back up to his feet. "Diggory!" he spat as he took a step towards Cedric. I watched as Cedric growled again as he balled his fists up and he took another step.
"Cedric no!" I shouted as I quickly stepped forward in front of Cedric. "Cedric don't!" I begged as I kept my position in front of Cedric as he continued to get around me to get to Cormac. "He's not worth it" I urged.
"You don't mean that Hermione" Cormac dismissed. "I am worth it" he winked at me.
"Grr!" Cedric growled as he attempted to get around me once more.
"Cedric!" I shouted. "Stop!" I screamed as he nearly got past me as Cormac pulled a smug face at Cedric. "Just ignore him" he pressed. "He's making no sense, let's just go" I advised as I tightened my hands on both his upper arms.
"You should probably listen to her mate" Cormac stated sarcastically. "Because you might have got a lucky shot in her office-" he continued smugly. "But it won't happen again, believe me" he pressed.
"Cormac!" I shouted as I turned and looked at him. "Back off!" I warned him. "Leave me and my fiancé alone!" I called. "We BOTH don't want anything to do you" I pressed as I grimaced at him.
"I beg to differ!" he sang sarcastically. "I will get the last laugh" he warned us. "Diggory" he nodded in his direction as he threw Cedric a sarcastic look.
"Whatever!" Cedric spat as he goes to turn away from him which made me sigh in relief.
"Hey!" Cormac exclaimed. "Don't turn your back to me!" he warned Cedric as he lunged forward and Cedric quickly moved both me and himself out of the way. Cormac lunged for Cedric again and Cedric ducked out of the way as Cormac started to swing his fists in Cedric's direction. Cormac grimaces at this and he went for Cedric again but yet again Cedric ducked before he swung his fists and he his Cormac in the right jaw with his right fist. Cedric then swung his fists again and his left fist collided with Cormac's stomach which made his eyes and mouth fly open in shock. Cedric then swung his right fist again and it collided with Cormac's face, Cormac seemed like he was stunned and in complete shock that Cedric had been able to land a series of punches as he fell to the floor. I then watched as Cedric took a couple of deep breaths to steady himself as he glared down at Cormac. Everyone around us were still in shock that this was happening just in front of them however I couldn't concentrate on them my main focus was on Cedric. I know that this was probably the wrong time but I couldn't help but note how it made me feel to have Cedric protecting me like this, I attempted to push away a knot that was starting to build up in my stomach but it was starting to form and linger.
"Cedric" I said and I watched he slowly turned and looked at me, and I saw that there was still a dark look in his eyes as he continued to calm himself down. I felt the drive to be in his arms so I stepped forward and I quickly kissed Cedric. As our lips slowly moved against each other's I slid my arms around his neck and I felt Cedric's hands cling tightly against my waist. When we pulled apart Cedric rested his forehead against mine we stared into each other's eyes as we head our friends finally manage to get through the people that was stood around us on the dance floor. I also head noises which told me that whoever Cormac was out with also picked him off the floor and away from us, thankfully.
"Are you both ok?" Ron asked, which made me look over to them all to see utter panic on all of their faces.
"Are we Cedric?" I asked nervously as I looked over to him.
"Yes" he nodded as he pushed his face close to mine and he brushed his nose against mine. "Are you?" he pressed as his eyes started to return to normal.
"Yes" I nodded. "Yeah we are both ok" I confirmed as I looked over to the others and I saw that they all continued to look nervous. We all then walked back to our seats in the VIP section, and part of me was glad that we were away from Cormac but unfortunately there was something in the pit of my stomach that was telling me that this was far from over.
