Hey guys, welcome back! I really hope that you are enjoying this story. I know that it has taken a VERY long time to get to this point but thank you for continuing coming on this journey for me. I think you can tell by the way these chapters are getting posted that this story is the one that I am currently working on. I do have a plan in my mind for this story, fingers crossed that things go the way that I hope it does. I will let you know in time if it does or doesn't. Let's just back into it, much love RSD xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo.
The next day I went to work and I knew that I was going to have do something that was going to put all this Cormac business behind me and Cedric. It was getting to the point of being ridiculous. This was a time where me and Cedric should be happy and excited planning our wedding and we should be enjoying our engagement. And don't get me wrong we are but this business with Cormac was ruining it at times.
When I went into work I asked for a word with my manager and I told him what had happened over the weekend. He suggested that I go and see a patrol officer, I did tell him this is what I was thinking about doing. I did also admit that I was scared about the repercussions for Cedric hitting him, my manager said that it sounded like self defence but the patrol officer would need to make the judgement on that. It was then decided that Cormac couldn't go anywhere near my department when I was on duty, my manager also stated that he thinks he needs to also speak to Cormac and Cedric's manager as this really can't go on any more - and I fully agreed with him.
A couple of hours into my shift Patrol Officer Harvey came to see me, she was a slim, petite officer with bright blonde hair and striking green eyes. Her robes were a deep royal blue, and she wore her patrol officer helmet on her head. I told her to sit down and she took her notepad and quill out of her pocket and asked me to tell her the whole story, which made me feel very nervous.
After I had told her everything she said that she will need to speak to Cormac and Cedric as well, I shared and highlighted my concerns and nervousness about her doing that. However it was at this point in which Patrol Officer Harvey stated that this was the only way to move forward. I told her that I understood this it just made me nervous, especially Cormac. She told me she understood this, and she stressed that she would remain open minded and respectful to everyone involved which reassured me greatly.
It was on the evening when Cedric came home he told me that Patrol Officer Harvey came to see her, and he told me that they had discussed everything. Cedric told her that he had to do two statements, one for the situation as a whole but a second one for what had happened on Saturday night. Patrol Officer Harvey told him that she suspected that Cormac would put his own spin on it so she wanted to make sure that she had the story from all points. Cedric stated that she told him that it does look like self defence however it may need to be looked into due to what Cormac says - which I could tell he was nervous over. I tried to reassure him on this, but I couldn't help but also feel nervous as knowing Cormac anything could happen.
It was a couple of days later in which me and Cedric received an Owl from Patrol Officer Harvey and a judge. When we saw the seal on the letter we both started to panic and we both opened it slowly and nervously, we saw that a judge had ruled in our favour for a restraining order which was reassuring for both me and Cedric. However it did come with a very stern warning that there can be no more fighting between Cormac and Cedric, which we both agreed with. We were warned about consequences on this and I knew that it made both me and Cedric nervous because if Cormac did come anywhere near us he would try to provoke Cedric. I told him that if Cormac comes anywhere near him he was going to have to really try hard to make sure that he doesn't react. He told me that he would try, and he would try hard but I could tell by the look on his face that he wasn't entirely certain on this.
We also received and Owl from work with the arrangements to accommodate the restraining order, as it had been reported to them, they stated that they would do their very best to try and not put me, Cedric and Cormac into any situation where we would be around each other. They also stated if any thing comes up like balls or events comes up then this would have to be discussed with the three of us. I was grateful for them trying to accommodate this situation, I knew there was going to be some probably here and there but me and Cedric would try to be open minded. We knew that we couldn't have everything our own way and we understood there was times in which it would have to be balanced. There would be certain meetings or events where it was more appropriate for Cormac to be than me and/or Cedric to be there. We were going to try and be balanced - even though Cormac probably didn't deserve us to see this situation this way.
