*Cedric's POV*
"Well that was interesting wasn't it?" Peter chuckled as we all walked into the changing room of the paint balling company. This was a muggle thing that I had always wanted to try, and I loved that Edward had planned this into my stag night. I felt as if this made my stag night more special, we all had fun - the guys even pranked me at the end!
"Yeah" I sighed as I removed my black paint balling helmet. "Thanks for covering me in paint guys" I whined as I looked down at my black paint balling suit and I noticed that I was covered in head to toe in multi coloured paint. When we were walking back all the guys decided to hide when I was making my way back to the changing rooms, however just before I got back to the block everyone jumped out and they shot me senseless.
"You're welcome" they all laughed in unison.
"You shouldn't be such an easy target" my father chuckled as he settled his paintball gun down onto a nearby bench.
"Hmph!" I puffed as I placed my gun down next to my father's. "I'm going to be covered in bruises" I whined once more.
"Why are you complaining for? I'm sure Hermione will kiss them all better" Arthur teased.
"ARTHUR!" I shouted as I turned and glared at him. "Don't speak about my fiancé like that" I warned him.
"Sorry" he quickly apologised. "But come on!" he exclaimed. "You can't lie and say that you are not looking forward to your wedding night" he winked at me.
"Well-" I began. "I can't" I admitted. "We are both looking forward to it" I confirmed. "But that is all I am going to say on the matter, I won't disrespect Hermione that way" I stated bluntly. "What happens between me and Hermione stays between me and Hermione" I added.
"Spoil sport" Arthur teased.
"Why would you want to talk about your friends like that?" Ron pressed.
"I don't see it as a big deal" Arthur shrugged.
"Well just keep those comment to yourself" Harry interjected. "Mione is our sister" he pressed further.
"Please Arthur?" Richard added, and we both watched as Arthur looked at us all nervously.
"Ok" I he nodded. "Ok" he repeated. "I just wanted to tease you a little bit, but you have taken all the fun out of it" he admitted.
"Good" I advised, and I watched as both Harry and Ron both pursed their lips together at this. "There is actually something that I wanted to say something to the pair of you-" I started as I stepped up to the pair of them.
"Us two?" Harry asked slowly as both he and Ron both looked confusion.
"Yeah" I nodded as the three of us all took a step to the side as the others started to get changed. "I know it sounds mushy but I want to thank you both again for being so accepting of mine and Hermione's relationship" I told them fondly. This was the truth, I know that the start of mine and Cedric's relationship was very rocky. And Harry, Ron and Ginny was very protective over Hermione and I fully understood that but as time went on I had grown close to them. And it meant a great deal to me that I had become close to them and that they not only accepted mine and Hermione's relationship but me also. "I know you may think things are before their time" I added.
"No" Ron answered. "You and Hermione are doing what is best for you" he stated which made me smile.
"Yeah" I nodded.
"You and Hermione are soul mates" Harry interjected. "Anyone with a right mind can see that" he smiled fondly. "I'm just glad that you were able to get Arthur to stop talking like that" he urged as he pressed his lips together. "We see Hermione like our sister, we don't want to think of her like that" he reminded me as Ron nodded in agreement to this.
"Well I can assure you that I don't want to talk about her like that" I told them. "I don't and won't disrespect her in that way" I added. "That is not who I am" I urged, hoping they didn't think that this was the case.
"We know Cedric" Harry answered.
"We trust you with Hermione" Ron added.
"However-" Harry started.
"Yes Harry?" I gulped.
"We will also protect her" he told me. "So that is your warning shot" he warned me.
"Consider me warned" I answered as I nodded at this.
"Good" Harry answered as pulled a funny face which made the three of us chuckle at this. We then all quickly changed back into our clothes we then left to go back to the hotel that we were using to get changed for the evening. I did question what we were going to do but they told me that it was a surprise and they weren't going to tell me anything, so I decided to just go with the flow. Edward had obviously put a lot of planning into my stag party, so I wasn't going to push it any further. I was really enjoying myself of my stag party, I just hoped that Hermione was enjoying herself as just as much as I currently was.
