"What I'm about to say is confidential, so if anyone asks I never said anything to any of you." the man begins to say to them but before he can say anything else Kazuma looks past him and briefly looks at the guards.

"Sasha, Gloria can the two of you go with Aqua and see if?" Kazuma says to them.

"No I'm going with you!" Aqua yells at Kazuma and forces him to stop talking.

"This is just a scouting mission, I just need to find where the kids are and." Kazuma says to Aqua but again Aqua stops him from finishing what he has to say.

"And how many times did that turn into a huge fight?" Aqua says to Kazuma, as she reminded him of the event that occurred in their past.

"It won't, I don't have Chris to rely on anymore and everyone else is gone." Kazuma answers Aqua.

As Gloria listened to his words she could almost feel the pain that Kazuma felt just by forcing himself to say them, and a gain Gloria couldn't help but wonder what had the two done in the past.

"Okay go ahead." Kazuma says to the man.

"I'm not going to bother saying that it's one corporation or another, because in the end everything always goes back to them."

"What I mean is who else has the power to do whatever they want?"

"Now for your first question, my name is officer Julian, and as for where we can meet there's a bar called Afterlife, just have your girls call me and we will meet there." Julian says to Kazuma.

"As for your last question, everything that I know is in the folder." Julian says to Kazuma but there's an awkward silence between them.

"There's nothing there." Kazuma says to Julian.

'Exactly, everyone that was involved with the investigations has forgotten who and when they were ordered to stop looking into one or all of the missing kids." Julian answers Kazuma.

"That's going to be a problem, just two more questions."

"How do you have this? and why do you remember telling people that you couldn't find their kids?" Kazuma asks Julian.

"Since these are all Missing\ D cases anyone is free to look into them, so it wasn't hard for me to get what you have in your hands." Julian says to Kazuma.

"The problem with how I can remember telling people that I couldn't find their kids, is I don't know, no one does, we just do." Julian answers Kazuma.

As Julian left Gloria could see the shadows of the factory move and briefly cover Julian before letting him go.

'Sasha can you check the police's public records and check if what he gave us is real." Kazuma asks Sasha.

"What's wrong?" Gloriasks Kazuma.

"I think we're being lured into a trap." Kazuma answers her.

"It's not." Sasha says to him, as she quickly flips one page after another. "Everyone of the cases that he brought with him is real." she adds as she closes the folder.

"That doesn't change anything, but the client just paid us, so we're on the clock, but from now on consider the police a threat to our lives." Kazuma says to everyone as he starts to head toward the door.

"So why do you want me to look into this guy?" Kiwi asks David, she didn't try to hide how irritated she felt, David hasn't done a single job yet and he was already asking her for favors.

"Well look at this, I didn't know that you were into younger guys." Jackie says as he walks up to them.

"Please, the kids asking me to spy on his mom's new boyfriend." Kiwi says to Jackie, as she looks past him and sees someone that she hasn't seen before.

"You should do it, I mean think about you wouldn't want some weirdo or some thug doing who knows what your mom right." Jackie says to Kiwi.

"And done."

"You were talking so much that I got bored and did it for him, the guy is completely clean, but nothing about him is real."

"There wasn't a Sato Kazuma or Sato Aqua a year ago." Kiwi says as she tells David what she's found.

"I know that, my mom helped them get their I.D." David says to Kiwi.

'Well, I don't know what else to tell you, other than the Kazuma guy isn't, just some...Hold on, who is..." Kiwi says as she stops talking and starts to call Maine.

"Yeah." Meine says to her.

"Maine I found something that you might want to see, it's about the Nerrruner that worked with you before I joined the crew." Kiwi says to Mine.

"What's going on?" David asks her but before he could finish Kiwi sent him the videos of Kazuma's group walking around the city.

"That's impossible, shes dead, I saw her body." Maine says as he sees the videos.

"Maybe not, now it's not just one dead person around but two." Kiwi says to Mine as her eyes move to look at David who is still looking somewhat confused.

"The woman with the black hair was the net runner that worked for Main before Lucy and I started working with him, she died."

'And yet there she is walking next to those two and your mom, who you claim fell off the freeway and went missing." Kiwi says to David.

David doesn't say anything as he doesn't understand or know what to think.

He tries to say something, but he feels a heavy hand on his back.

"Listen, kid, I don't know you, but you are old enough to know that this city has a lot of secrets, and some are better off being left alone."

"You have your mom right, so what does it matter? Listen when she gets home, hug her and welcome her back, that's all you have to do." Jackie says to David who can only stay quiet.
