"Okay let's start over, who are you?" Kazuma says to Jakie

"Names Jackie and this is my partner V." Jackie answers Kazuma as V just says hi to him.

"So what's going on? I mean we brought the kid so that he could find his mom and when we found her we saw her trying to get away from you." V says to Kazuma.

"Repressed Trauma, she hasn't had a chance to deal with her situation, and we...I accepted a job that is just going to make things worse for her." Kazuma stops talking before he turns to look at Sasha.

"For the two of them."

Jackie nods before he starts to walk toward Gloria. "Makes sense, but this isn't how you do it, I mean if you force her to deal with it." Jackie says to Kazuma who interrupts him before he can finish.

'Then she's forced to deal with it, she isn't alone, she has me- Aqua- Sasha, and him." Kazuma says to Jackie as he points to David who now has his arms around her.

"You and your partner both know that if she doesn't deal with everything now then those walls she built to keep herself together could break during a fight or a moment when her life is in danger."

"Then what?" Kazuma says to Jackie but his eyes are directed at Davis who only glares at him.

"When the day comes then it's up to him to help her back on her feet." Jackie says to Kazuma as he turns to look at David.

"Main told me about you, how you got that thing in you. Now you have a reason not to do anything stupid, so you better not let your mom down." He stops talking as he turns to look back at Kazuma.

"Unfortunately he's right, we didn't hear what he said to her, but if just some words can put her in that state, your mom needs you more than ever," Jackie says to David.

No one says anything and soon the only sound that can be heard is Gloria sniffing as she tries to stop herself from crying.

"Hey since the two of you brought him here, can you take Gloria and her son home, she's nowhere near ready for where we're going." Kazuma says to Jackie and V who immediately agree to his request.

"Aqua, Kazuma, I know that the two of you mean well and that you are just looking out for us."

'What I'm trying to say is that I know that my past...well her past. Sasha stops talking as she tries to organize her thoughts.

"The past of the person who died and who She\ I was will one day come back and I'll be forced to deal with it, but that day isn't today so please let me be me"

"And if I break, will the two of you be there for me?" Sasha says to them before Aqua jumps on her and hugs her tightly, Sasha can't help but smile as she feels herself becoming warm.

Maine didn't say anything as he drove towards David's location, he knew where the kid lived and that meant that he would soon meet Gloria again, he was not looking forward to it.

Normally he would have just ignored the kid and his mom and he would have gone straight toward Sasha to get whatever answers she had, but there were too many unknowns.

Nothing made sense when David told him how his mom went missing, he had Kiwi look into it and the kid was right no one survived a fall like that.

And yet here they were, two women that fell from hie places and should have been dead while at the same time they are with a pair of unknowns that haven't gotten their feet wet.

No, that wasn't right either, the way that green moved showed that he had experience in fighting people that were faster than he was, which meant that he had also fought people that were stronger than he was.

Now in days the two things just went together, the stronger a person gets, the faster they become, it was just the benefits of getting Chrome.

He called Lucy so that she could use the tracking device inside David to see and hear what he was hearing and sent it to him and the rest of their crew.

While he did listen to their conversation, he was more interested in the woman's glowing hand, what kind of implant did that?

And why was someone that could react to a sandevistan so confident David would lose if he fought against her?

He had seen Shasha's body and how broken it was, he can still remember the peaceful smile she had when he found her, that was why he left her there.

She must have known that she was going to die there and made peace with it.

"Kazuma I'm done fixing your headset but I had to change some things." I said to Kazuma as I handed him the headset.

"I didn't think the thing worked anymore" Kazuma answers me as he takes the headset and places it on his head before using the cable that's hanging from the back of the device and connecting it to his tablet.

I watch as Kazuma begins to stumble before he regains his footing and starts to look at the world around him.

"It's an old model, but someone was still using t, so it just needed some power." I answer him as he stares at me, I can't help but cover my chest out of instinct.

"There are all sorts of signs and words that I can't understand." He says to me.

I connected to his head sets system and find that he was right, there are all sorts of things popping out, but none of my antivirus ae activating so whatever the headset is showing Kazuma is exactly what it was meant to show him.

"Hold on, this thing is updating.' Kazuma says to me as we watch all of the pop-outs and words that I can't understand begin to vanish.

Finally, after what feels like five minutes everything is gone, so maybe the thing was just rebooting itself.

'What's that?" Kazuma says to me as I see a logo that I don't have shown on my chest.

I use my connection to the net and find that it's a stamp used by Biotechnica to mark things that belong to them.

'What?" I said to myself before I push the question aside, that is something for the old me to know, and the person that I am now doesn't need to know why I was marked.
