We begin to walk towards the train stop, the next location is one of the towers where people live, I kind of wish that the trains near us weren't at the very top of the stairs that way we wouldn't have to.
My thoughts stop as I notice something that isn't right both Kazuma and Aqua suddenly seem tense, they're walking land acting as usual but their footsteps seem as if they are being carefully taken.
It's almost as if they're expecting to be attacked.
Even before I can hear the sounds of the gunshots being fired I suddenly find myself being carried by Kazuma, he has Aqua on top of his shoulder and I am in the same position on his left shoulder, but when did he move?
"Kazum over there!" Aqua shuts to Kazum as she points at someone not too far away from us.
Kazuma doesn't say anything and he only stops running when he manages to put some distance between us and whoever was firing at us.
"There's a chance that he has friends so, get something ready just in case." Kazuma says to Aqua as he puts us both down.
It's honestly kind of funny, Kazuma isn't that much taller than Aqua and I so I'm surprised that we didn't trip on our own feet while he was carrying us.
"Got it!" Aqua shuts and I notice a drone flying towards us, I'm about to hack it and make sure that it doesn't see us, but Kazuma puts a hand on my waist and silently tells me not to do it.
He wants people to see what happens next.
Aqua reaches into a pocket that I didn't know she had and takes out a pair of computer chips that she inserts into her wrist computer, she opens her hands wide as if she was a performer and this world is her stage.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I the great Goddes Aqua! will now have my faithful servant put down these heretics!" she shouts with a bright smile on her face and her hands opened wide.
She doesn't move even as the sound of gunfire reaches my ears.
I can't help but stare, Kazum is holding the bullets in his hands, but he doesn't have any implants so how did he stop them?
Like before Kazuma vanishes, except this time I can see him appear where the person that was shooting at us is, there's electricity coming out of his hands and he moves faster than any person should be able to.
H avoids an augmented person's fist while at the same time, he somehow uses the same wire from before to tie the man up, then he uses his momentum to throw the man at his friends.
The fight is over and somehow there were more people on the ground than I saw before, I only saw two people, but for some reason, there are six of them now.
"Come on." Aqua happily says to me before she skips toward where Kazuma is standing over the people that attacked us.
Even as I follow after her I notice that her steps aren't as joyful as they normally should be, sure her skirt draws my attention and I have a small desire to see what's underneath but that's something everyone has.
"Someone was controlling them." Kazuma says to us as he looks at the two men who are still trying to attack him.
I'm about to try and hack the six men but I'm unable to as the back of their heads explodes, someone made sure that we could find out why we were attacked or who attacked us.
Kazuma turns to look at the drone and says "Do it." but before I can hack into the drone it too self-destructs.
"This isn't a coincidence," I say to him and Kazuma nods, he doesn't react even as the train arrives he just keeps his eyes locked onto something in the distance that even my eyes can't see.
