Welcome back! Happy Ladrien June! (this list I found much earlier)

The idea for this, I actual got from a short fan comic I remember reading a while back. I can't remember what it was called or who made it, nor could I find it again (it's been a long time since I last looked at it), but still thought mentioning was important.

Don't worry, I did my best to make it different enough.

Day #3: Stop and Stare

Adrien couldn't sleep. He wasn't sure why exactly. He'd had a long day and thought going to bed early would be good but now he couldn't fall asleep.

It was dark out. He'd already tried taking a hot shower. He didn't want to be too noisy, for fear of waking up his father or Nathalie so he didn't want to turn on the tv or any music. So he opted for sitting on his couch and scrolling through his phone.

With nothing new on social media to pique his interest, he opened his folder of saved Ladybug pictures. Each one more beautiful than the last.

Adrien smiled. Seeing Ladybug's face always warmed his heart. Made his oversized room in his cold, lonely house feel less cold and lonely.

Out of the corner of his eye, he saw some movement outside his window. Adrien glanced up and saw someone. A figure standing on the roofs of the building right across the street. Adrien discarded his phone onto the couch and stood up. Walking closer to the big window, he could make out the dark pigtails and red body suit. It could only be one person.

Ladybug. She was there. Right outside his window.

Why she had stopped there, he wasn't sure. But he didn't care. He was just thrilled to see her.

She didn't appear to be in any destress, so he was fairly sure that there wasn't an akuma that she needed help with. Which was good because he wouldn't have to transform and spend the whole night frighting a super villain. But also not so good because he couldn't transform to go and visit with her face to face.

She just stood there, looking at the city.

And there he stood, just staring at her, just watching to see what she'd do next.

A few seconds that felt like hours passed before she moved. She turned her head and glanced down at his window, spotting him staring at her.

Adrien froze for a second, not sure what to do. She stared at him for a good couple of seconds.

Then she waved at him, flashing him an adorable smile.

So he waved back at her, smiling his most charming smile.

When she stopped waving, he watched as she brought her fingers up to her lips, kissed them, then blew it in his direction.

Adrien's heart leapt as he reached his hand up to catch it—even with the glass between them—he caught it in his right hand then clenched it in his fist and held it over his heart as he watched his lady jump to the next rooftop and disappeared from his sight.

Despite the little visit being so brief and from a distance, it felt as magical as any time being in her presence.

Adrien swooned and turned around, leaning his back against the wall of glass and slid down to the floor.

"Mon amour," he whispered dreamily, still holding both hands to his pounding heart.

Maybe she will come by again tomorrow. And he would pray that she stopped to stare down at his window again. Adrien would stay up all night if he had to.

Next one to be posted tomorrow ;D
