Chapter 2: Bear & Bird and Ronins in Acme Forest
The gang got up the next morning and enters Acme Forest. As they were walking through the forest, they saw some ? Blocks floating in the air. Yakko and Wakko jumps up to them and a Cape Feather and Tanooki Suit came out.
Wakko: Hey, there's a Cape Feather and a Tanooki Suit from Super Mario Bros. They could come in handy.
Yakko grabs the Cape Feather while Wakko grabs the Tanooki Suit and saves them for later. As the gang continues walking through the forest, they saw a bear and a bird fighting some enemies. The bear is brown with a cream-colored muzzle, tummy, hands, and feet, a blue backpack, and yellow shorts. The bird is red with a yellow beak and talons and is riding on the bear's backpack. They are fighting blue goblins with machetes called Bokoblins, green beavers called Gnawties, and green ogres called Uggers.
Furrball: Look! There's a bear and bird fighting some enemies!
Yakko: The enemies look like Bokoblins from Legend of Zelda, Gnawties from Donkey Kong Country, and Uggers from Banjo-Tooie.
Sora: We gotta help them out!
*Wonderwing - Banjo-Kazooie*
The gang helps the bear and bird with the enemies. The Bokoblins slashed their machetes at the gang, but they easily dodged their weapons. Sora and Buster uses Strike Raid to throw their Keyblades at the Bokoblins. The Gnawties and Uggers charged at the gang, but the bear and bird fires Blue Eggs to take them out. Sakura uses her Clow Card Firey to summon powerful flames while Li uses his Wind Ofuda to summon powerful gusts of wind. Yakko and Wakko uses their Cape Feather and Tanooki Suit to become Cape Yakko and Tanooki Wakko. Yakko is wearing a yellow cape while Wakko is wearing the Tanooki Suit. They took out some Gnawties and Uggers with their cape and tail. The rest of the gang uses their usual attacks to take out the remaining enemies. After all the enemies were taken out, the gang turns to the bear and bird.
Bird: Thanks for saving us. We could have taken them out ourselves.
The bear and bird then looks at Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy.
Bear: Say, you three wouldn't happen to be Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy, right?
Plucky: How did you know about us?
Bird: Mumbo and Wumba told us all about you three.
Sora: You two know Mumba and Wumba?
Bear: Yes. They came from our world.
Bird: Say, you three look kinda funny to me.
Sora & Plucky: HEY!
The bird laughs.
Bear: Oh, forgive me. We haven't introduce ourselves. My name is Banjo.
Bird: And I'm Kazooie. I'm Banjo's partner. Who are all you people?
The rest of the gang introduced themselves to Banjo & Kazooie.
Buster: Anyway, how did you guys arrive here in this island?
Banjo: Well, me and Kazooie were wandering around Spiral Mountain, looking for some honey when a portal came and sucked us in.
Sakura: Hey, that sounds kinda like me, Li, Sora, and Kairi getting sucked into this world.
Kazooie: Anyway, what are you all doing here?
The gang explains everything to Banjo & Kazooie.
Banjo: I see. So Monty has kidnapped some girls and is searching for treasure.
Calamity: Yes, and we must rescue them and find the treasure before Monty.
Kazooie: Is it OK if we can come with you? I would love to kick some spoiled brat's butts.
Sora: Sure, the more the merrier.
*Spiral Mountain - Banjo-Kazooie*
Banjo & Kazooie joins the gang as they continued walking through Acme Forest. Yakko and Wakko uses their new Power-Ups to fly up to the very top of the forest. The rest of the gang travels through the forest on foot, fighting some more Bokoblins, Gnawties, and Uggers along the way. They also climbed up some trees and slide down some handrails. They made it to the next part of Acme Forest which is a dark forest.
Plucky:(Whimpers)This place is getting creepier.
Sora: Relax, Plucky. We're almost outta the forest.
As the gang continues walking through the dark forest, they saw two people fighting some more enemies. One person was a young man with red hair in a ponytail, wearing a red hakama with white pants, and wielding a reverse-blade katana. The other person was a teenage demon boy with long white hair and dog ears, wearing a red hakama, and wielding a giant katana. They are fighting small skeleton soldiers called Stalchildren, green crocodile soldiers called Kritters, and brown pterodactyl-like enemies called Gruntydactyls.
Kairi: Look! There are two more people fighting more enemies!
Banjo: It looks like they are fighting some Gruntydactyls from my world.
Furrball: And the other enemies are Stalchildren from Legend of Zelda and Kritters from Donkey Kong Country.
Buster: We gotta help those people!
*Yellow Flibbits - Banjo-Kazooie*
The gang helps the two swordsmen take out the enemies. The Stalchildren slashes their claws at the gang, but they easily dodged their attacks. Sora and Buster uses Sonic Blade to take out alot of Stalchildren. The Kritters bite their jaws at the gang, but they still dodged their attacks. Banjo & Kazooie uses Wonderwing to charge at the Kritters with Kazooie's Golden Wings. The Gruntydactyls dove at the gang, but the two swordsmen slashes them away. The red-headed swordsman uses Dragon Soaring Flash to uppercut the Gruntydactyls with his sword while the white-haired demon uses Iron Reaver Soul Stealer to slash the Gruntydactyls with his claws. The rest of the gang uses their usual attacks to take out the remaining enemies. Just as the last Stalchild and Kritter were about to attack the gang, Yakko and Wakko lands on them. Yakko flew down with his cape to headbutt the Kritter while Wakko transforms into a statue to land on the Stalchild, taking them out. Wakko then returns back to normal.
Plucky: It's about time you guys dropped in. We were about to take them out ourselves.
Yakko: Sorry we're late. Too bad we missed all the fun.
Man 1: Thanks for helping us out. If you guys haven't arrived, we would've been finished by now.
Man 2: Say, who are you people? Are you all from around here?
The whole gang introduced themselves to the two swordsmen.
Man 1: I see. Well, I guess we should introduce ourselves. My name is Himura Kenshin, but you can call me Kenshin.
Man 2: And I'm Inuyasha. I'm a Dog Hanyo. Me and Kenshin actually came from different worlds.
Li was looking at the two katanas Kenshin and Inuyasha were carrying.
Li: Those are some pretty interesting swords you two were carrying.
Kenshin: My katana is called the Sakabato. It's a reverse-blade katana. It's made that way because I normally don't like killing people.
Inuyasha: And my katana is called the Tessaiga. It's a special katana that can slay demons. It can change into different forms.
Sora: So where did you two come from and how did you get here?
Kenshin: I came from Meiji Japan. I was honing my skills to become the greatest Ronin when a portal appeared and sucked me here.
Inuyasha: And I came from Sengoku Japan. I was fighting Naraku and his demons when a portal appeared and sucked me here as well.
Kazooie: Well, doesn't that sound familiar. Me and Banjo, two kids with sword keys, and two kids with magic cards were sucked into this world by a portal as well.
Inuyasha: Well, at least I don't have to worry about Kagome telling me to sit to land my face on the ground.
Kenshin: So what are you guys doing here?
The gang explains everything to Kenshin and Inuyasha.
Kenshin: So Monty was behind all this?
Buster: Yes. We must rescue the kidnapped girls and find the treasure before he does.
Inuyasha: Then I guess we have no other choice but to join you guys.
Sakura: Sure, welcome to the crew, Kenshin and Inuyasha.
*Bubblegloop Swamp - Banjo-Kazooie*
Kenshin and Inuyasha joins the gang as they continued walking through Acme Forest. As they traveled through the dark forest, they took out more Bokoblins and Stalchildren, Gnawties and Kritters, and Uggers and Gruntydactyls. They then made their way through some kinda tree maze where there are trees with elevators inside them. They went inside the tree elevators and they took them all over the tree maze. After a few minutes of going up and down elevators in the tree maze, they made it out of the maze.
Plucky: Man, that was really confusing. I thought for sure we would be stuck there forever.
Sora: Well, at least we got outta the maze.
Buster looks at his map again.
Buster: We're almost outta Acme Forest. If we go through the forest, we'll be able to go to Acme Cavern.
The gang we're about to leave the forest when they came across a river.
Dizzy: Water? Dizzy hate water! Dizzy no wanna swim!
Sora: Relax, Dizzy. We'll be fine as long as we stick together. I'll even carry you on my back.
Buster: If we cross the river, we'll be able to get to Acme Cavern.
?: Unfortunately, this is as far as you guys will go.
Everyone looks up to see a floating platform on the river that says Acme and a Ferris Wheel with boxes that also says Acme. On the floating platform is Garuru from the Garuru Platoon. Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy has never met him before.
Calamity: Who are you? Why do you have Acme machinery?
Garuru: I am Garuru of the Garuru Platoon. I came from Planet Keron. I was sent by Monty to stop you fools.
Yakko: So if you're the leader of your platoon, where are the rest of your platoon men?
Garuru: They are not here with me right now. They are currently with Lord Ganondorf.
He then saw Buster, Sora, Kairi with their Keyblades ready.
Garuru: Well, those swords look familiar. They remind me of those three meddlers who wielded them a long time ago.
Buster: Wait! You know Terra, Ven, and Aqua?
Garuru: Why yes. I know alot about them. They helped that accursed Keroro Platoon defeat me and escape Planet Keron.
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy remembers the Keroro Platoon. They helped them as Summons in their last adventure to defeat Organization XIII.
Sora: Well, if you're the enemy of the Keroro Platoon and you're working for Monty, then that makes you our enemy as well!
Garuru: Indeed. Anyone who are friends with the Keroro Platoon are my enemies as well. I'll stop you and find the treasure for Monty.
Buster: Guys, in order to reach him, we'll need to jump on those boxes on that Ferris Wheel and then jump on that platform he is on.
Everyone: Right!
*Mingy Jongo - Banjo-Tooie*
Garuru pulls out his sniper rifle and starts firing at the gang, but they easily dodged his shots. The gang jumps on the boxes on the Ferris Wheel and jumps on the platform Garuru was on. Garuru uses Dark Pulse to fire dark waves at the gang, but they easily dodged his attack. Sora and Buster uses Zantetsuken to deliver a powerful slash on Garuru while Plucky and Kairi uses Graviga to lift him up and weaken him. Dizzy uses Mega Punch and Mega Kick on Garuru, Furrball uses Dragon Claw to slash Garuru with his green energy claws, Calamity uses Thunder Fang to bite Garuru with his electric teeth, and Little Beeper uses Drill Peck to spin his beak like a drill and attacks Garuru. Sakura uses her Clow Card Watery to summon tidal waves while Li uses his Fire Ofuda to summon a stream of fire to burn Garuru. Banjo & Kazooie fires Grenade Eggs at Garuru, making them explode on him. Kenshin uses Nine-Head Dragon Flash to strike nine areas of Garuru with his nine kanjis while Inuyasha uses Wind Scar to fire a sword cutter from his Tessaiga. All of the attacks did alot of damage to Garuru, making the platform about the explode.
Banjo: Guys, the platform is about to explode! Let's get off!
The gang jumps off the platform in time as it explodes. Garuru stood back up, looks around, and looks down on where the platform once was to see that he was standing on the air. He freaks out as he fell down into the river and was sent drifting away.
Garuru: CURSE YOU, MEDDLERS! MARK MY WORDS! I'LL BE BACK!
He was washed away so far from the gang until he was no longer seen.
Sakura: Well, that takes care of that.
Wakko: But how are we gonna cross the river if the currents are so strong?
Kairi: Look over there. There's a log at the end of the river.
Everyone looks are where Kairi was pointing at and saw a log.
Plucky: Well, what do you know? Now we can cross over the river safely.
The gang walks over to the log and made it to the other side of the river. When they made it to the end of Acme Forest, they found a cave.
Buster: There it is. This is Acme Cavern.
Kenshin: I wonder if we'll find any treasure in there.
Sora: Let's go inside.
The gang went inside Acme Cavern.
