Chapter 4: A Bandicoot and Ninja in Acme Lava Cave
The gang has entered Acme Lava Cave.
Plucky: Phew, it's getting really hot in here.
Buster: That's because we're in Acme Lava Cave. Look all over the place
The gang looks around the cave to see that there is lava all over the place.
Banjo: You're right. No wonder it's so hot in here.
Inuyasha: We should hurry and get through this place.
As the gang keeps running through the lava cave, they saw more ? Blocks. Yakko and Wakko jumps up to them and out came two Ice Flowers.
Wakko: Hey, two Ice Flowers from Super Mario Bros. They should keep us cool in here.
Yakko and Wakko grabs the Ice Flowers and uses them to become Ice Yakko and Ice Wakko. Yakko now wore light blue pants and Wakko wore a white long-sleeved shirt with a blue cap. As the gang continues running through the lava cave, they saw two more people. One person was an orange bandicoot with a yellow tummy and blue jeans with black sneakers. Accompanying him was a brown floating mask with yellow eyes, three feathers on his head, and a green goatee on his chin. The other person is a ninja boy with blonde spiky hair, wearing a black headband with a metal plate in front, an orange and black jacket, and orange pants. They are fighting some Koopas with red shells and helmets called Fire Bros., red round robots with fireballs called Goras, and red torch-like robots called Changkey Makers.
Yami: There are two more people fighting some fire enemies here!
Yakko: They look like Fire Bros. from Super Mario Bros., Goras from Sonic the Hedgehog, and Changkey Makers from Megaman.
Bomberman: Let's help them out!
*Fireman Stage - Megaman(Super Smash Bros. Ultimate)*
The gang helps the bandicoot and the boy with the enemies. The Fire Bros. threw fireballs at the gang, but they dodged their attacks. Yakko and Wakko threw ice balls at the Fire Bros., freezing them. The Goras launched their fireballs at the gang, but they still dodged their attacks. Bomberman threw his Ice Bombs and Water Bombs to freeze and soak the Goras. The Changkey Makers threw their Changkeys at the gang, but they easily dodged the fire robots. Yami summons a white horned skeleton called Summoned Skull and it uses it's electricity to zap the Changkey Makers. The bandicoot uses Death Tornado Spin to spin his body like a tornado into the Fire Bros. and Changkey Makers while the ninja uses Rasengan to throw blue energy spheres at the Goras. The rest of the gang uses their usual attacks to take out the enemies. After all the enemies were taken out, the gang turns to the bandicoot and boy.
Bandicoot: Thanks for helping us out. We could have just taken them out ourselves.
The mask flew over to the gang.
Mask: Say, some of you look like you don't belong here in this world. Who are you people?
The whole gang introduced themselves to the bandicoot, mask, and boy. The boy turns to Sakura.
Boy: So your name is Sakura? I have a friend who shares the same name.
Sakura: That's pretty cool. Who are you by the name?
Boy: Oh right. My name is Naruto Uzumaki. I wish to become a Hokage. Believe it!
Bandicoot: And my name is Crash Bandicoot, but you can call me Crash.
Mask: And I'm Aku-Aku. I'm kinda like a mentor and father to Crash.
Kazooie: Say, floating mask man. You kinda remind me of that numbskull Mumbo.
Sora: Anyway, how do you know we're not from this world?
Aku-Aku: I have a keen sense of knowledge and can tell that some of you apart from these small and young animals are not from this world.
Furrball: Anyway, I'll bet you guys aren't from this world either and were brought here from a portal, right?
Crash: That is correct. Me and Aku-Aku came from N. Sanity Island. We were about to stop Dr. Cortex again when a portal came and sucked us into this world.
Naruto: And I came from Konohagakure. I was fighting Madara Uchiha with my friends when a portal came and suck me in here as well.
Aku-Aku: Anyway, I bet all of you came here for a reason. Can you tell us what's going on?
The gang explains everything to Crash, Aku-Aku, and Naruto.
Crash: So you're on a treasure hunt and you're here to rescue some girls from Monty?
Sora: Yes, and we need to find the treasure before Monty does and find the girls.
Naruto: OK, I guess we can join you as well. That Monty sounds like trouble to me.
Dizzy: Can we hurry? Dizzy getting really hot in here!
Plucky: OK, Dizzy. Let's hurry and get outta here.
*Lower Norfair - Super Metroid*
Crash and Naruto joins the gang as they hurried through Acme Lava Cave. Yakko and Wakko even uses their ice powers to cool the gang down. They jumped over some blocks floating over lava and even jumped on a big one that can fit all of them. Suddenly, a lava geyser appeared under the block, sending the gang to a much higher level. They even fought more Fire Bros., Goras, and Changkey Makers along the way and took them out. They also encountered new enemies like the green dinosaurs called Dodongos from Legend of Zelda, red lava serpents called Magmoors from Metroid Prime, and red lava blobs called Magmoos from Kid Icarus. The Dodongos and Magmoors breathe fire at the gang and Magmoos shoot fireballs, but the gang easily dodges their attacks. The gang takes them out and proceeds forward. They then came across a lava lake and a series of platforms floating over the lake. They jumped onto the platforms and made it to the other side of the lake. The gang took a break for a moment.
Calamity: Man, that was pretty harsh. Can't we catch a break for now.
Buster: Relax guys. We're almost outta here. We gotta hurry and get through the cave.
The gang proceeds forward and saw a series of floating platforms above a small lava pond and a tunnel that leads upward.
Plucky:(Whimpers)We're gonna climb all the way up here? I don't think I can move on anymore.
Buster: But it's the only way outta the Acme Lava Cave. If we wanna get outta here, then we have to climb up those platforms.
Sora: I think King Buster is right, Plucky. We don't have any other choice.
Plucky: Fine, but if there's anymore obstacles along the way, then I'm leaving.
The gang stars jumping up the platforms. As soon as they jumped up some of the platforms, they hear some shaking.
Kenshin: What was that?
They looked down to see that the lava is rising up to them.
*Escape from Mt. Lavalava - Paper Mario 64*
Bomberman: The lava is rising! We must climb outta here!
Sora: Me, Plucky, and Dizzy can just fly outta here! We learned how to fly from the Dragon World.
Kairi: Please take me with you, Sora! I can't fly on my own!
Buster: Thankfully, I learned how to fly from the Dragon World as well.
Furrball: With my claws, I can climb up walls.
Calamity: I have jetpacks in my backpack.
Beeper: Beep-Beep!
Calamity: Little Beeper can run up walls.
Yakko & Wakko: We'll use Calamity's jetpacks.
Sakura: I can use my Clow Card Flight.
Kazooie: I can fly to get Banjo outta here.
Inuyasha: Me and Kenshin can just wall jump here.
Bomberman: I can use my Bomber Jet to fly.
Yami: I can summon my Curse of Dragon.
Crash: I can use my Copter Pack to fly.
Naruto: I can wall jump like Kenshin and Inuyasha.
Sora: Then let's hurry and get outta here!
The gang flew to climb outta the tunnel as fast as they can to avoid the rising lava. Sora, Buster, Plucky, and Dizzy flew up with their ki. Sora picks Kairi up as they flew up the tunnel. Furrball uses his claws to climb up the walls. Calamity pulls out three jetpacks from his backpacks and he, Yakko, and Wakko uses them to fly upward. Little Beeper ran up the wall. Sakura uses her Clow Card Flight to give herself and Li wings to fly upward. Kazooie flew upward with Banjo. Kenshin, Inuyasha, and Naruto jumps upward between walls. Bomberman uses his Bomber Jet to fly upward. Yami summons a yellow skeletal dragon called the Curse of Dragon and he rode on it to fly upward. Crash uses his Copter Pack to fly upward. The gang flew up away from the rising lava in time as the lava stops rising. The gang took a break again.
Plucky: Man, that was scary! I'll never do that again!
Sora: Well, there's no going back now that lava has blocked the pathway we just came from.
Buster: We can't stop now. We're almost outta here. Let's hurry and get outta here.
The gang keeps traveling through Acme Lava Cave until they were stopped by an orange monkey with a white tummy and wearing sunglasses riding on a floating platform over a lava pond.
Monkey: Sorry kids. But you're not gonna come any further.
Plucky: Why does that monkey remind me of Elvis Presley?
Sora: Who are you and what do you want?
Monkey: My name is Etemon. I'm a Digimon sent by Monty to stop you fools.
He looks at the human heroes again.
Etemon: Say, you kids remind me of the Digidestined.
Dizzy: Bad monkey know Digidestined?
Etemon: Why yes. I know them. They caused me alot of trouble back at the Server Continent and Spiral Mountain.
Sora, Plucky, and Dizzy remembers the Digidestined. They helped them four times in Odaiba. In their first adventure, they helped the Digidestined defeat Myotismon and Apocalymon. In their second adventure, they helped them foil Team Rocket's plan and defeat MaloMyotismon.
Banjo: Wait! Are you referring to my Spiral Mountain? I don't think I've ever met you.
Etemon: No, not your Spiral Mountain, stupid bear. I'm talking about the Spiral Mountain from the Digital World. The one created by the Dark Masters.
Kazooie: OK! You do not call Banjo stupid, monkeyface!
Etemon: Oh, what are you gonna do about it, birdbrain?
Kazooie: Oh, I'll beat you till you start seeing stars!
Etemon: Oh, I'm already a star and you're not!
Kazooie: No, I'm not referring to that kinda star! I'm referring to the ones you'll see around your head when I'm through with you!
Etemon: Why you! That's it! It's showtime!
Etemon pulls out his guitar and starts playing it.
Sora: Why does he remind me of Demyx?
Buster: Guys, let's show him what we're made of!
*Fire Boss Theme - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time*
Etemon uses Concert Crush to summon dark lightning to attack the gang, but they dodged his attack. Sora and Plucky merges to become Wisdom Form Sora. He starts firing Blue Arrows at Etemon, doing alot of damage to him. Kairi uses Firaga, Blizzaga, and Thundaga on Etemon while Buster uses Ars Arcanum to rapidly slash his Keyblade at Etemon. Dizzy uses Mega Punch and Mega Kick on Etemon, Furrball uses Crush Claw to slash Etemon with his red energy claws, Calamity uses Hyper Fang to bite Etemon with his powerful teeth, and Little Beeper uses Brave Bird to charge at Etemon in blue energy. Yakko and Wakko threw ice balls at Etemon. Each attack did alot of damage to Etemon. Etemon then uses Dark Network to throw dark energy spheres at the gang, but they easily dodged his attacks. Sakura uses her Clow Card Thunder to zap Etemon. Li uses his Water Ofuda to soak Etemon. Banjo & Kazooie jumps over Etemon and uses Bill Drill to do a Ground Pound with Kazooie spinning her body to drill downward on Etemon. Kenshin uses Dragon Cry Flash to dash attack Etemon. while Inuyasha uses Adamant Barrage to fire diamonds from his Diamond Tessaiga. Bomberman threw his Ice Bombs and Water Bombs at Etemon while Curse of Dragon breathes fire at Etemon. Etemon is starting to get dazed with stars spinning all around his head.
Etemon: Why am I seeing stars?
Kazooie: I told you you would see stars.
Crash uses his Fruit Bazooka to fire Wumpa Fruits at Etemon. Naruto then uses Rasenshuriken to form his Rasengan like an energy shuriken and threw it at Etemon. Both attacks did alot of damage to him. Suddenly, his platform starts to short circuit and fell on the lava, making it explode, and sending him flying out of Acme Lava Cave and into the sky.
Etemon: CURSE YOU, CHILDREN! YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE LAST OF ME! I'LL BE BACK!
A star twinkles at where he was sent flying to.
Sora: Man, that kinda reminds me of Team Rocket when he was sent blasting off into the sky.
Sora and Plucky returns to normal.
Buster: Now let's get outta here. There's the exit over there.
Plucky: Good, because I'm about to become a roast duck here.
The gang starts making their way out of Acme Lava Cave.
