Everyone was lounging in the living room. They decided to relax before going out to dinner, and then to the club. Bix and Lucy were playing Mario kart against each other. Cris was sitting by Lucy reading a book but laughing at the two of them.

"HA! Beat you again!" Lucy grinned.

"That's because you pick the hardest levels! I want a rematch and I pick the levels!"

"Bix, even when you picked last time, she beat you. You've never been able to win against her when you play this game." Laxus said. Bix grumbled knowing Laxus was right.

"Fine, new game! Street Fighter." He got up and switched the game. Lucy shrugged and smiled. Kaleb bit the inside of his cheek to keep from laughing after he heard the thought that passed through her head. Bix chose Ryu as his character and Lucy chose Chun-Li. "Where is your father now?"

She shook her head, trying her best to clear her thoughts and go back downstairs. She didn't want any of them to worry about her. She was so lost in her thoughts and trying to cheer herself up, she didn't hear Cris calling out to her. She jumped when he sat down next to her and grabbed her hands.

"What's wrong Starlight? You've been up here for an hour." Lucy's eyes widened; she didn't think she had been up here that long.

"I was thinking of my dad, wishing that I could've had a relationship with him like you guys have with Arman. I was mad at myself because I was feeling jealous. "They treated her nicely. They'd all sit around and joke. Then of course Gray and Natsu would start brawls and pull others into them. Why?"

"On missions they treated her differently it seems. Natsu and Happy were constantly telling her she was heavy. The others on the team never stopped either of them and they'd all laugh because Natsu said they had only been joking if she got mad at them."

"I'm going to be the shit out of Natsu if I ever see him." Laxus growled.
