Hello again fan fic peoples I'm back with another chapter. First of all, thank you for your love and support I appreciate it and I'm grateful. So, with that out of the way let's get started.

Set in Stone: Chapter 6

Sarada was angry at how the last 2 weeks have been going; first was the fact that they got ambushed by 2 rogue mist ninjas while defending their client. They handled the 2 just fine with only Naruto getting a cut on his hand that was able to be healed by Hinata. The part that really got the shit storm started was when the mist ninja Zabuza ambushed them as soon as they arrived in wave country; Sarada out of all her studying the past of her father she never knew that he was ambushed by a A-class missing ninja. Once again, the team was able to win by the skin of their teeth; Yugao using her kenjutsu matched Zabuza, Hinata using her Byakugan tracked him in his hidden mist technique, Naruto chipped away at him with his almost unlimited chakra and Sarada was able to find her moment and trap him in a genjutsu.

Before anyone could deliver the final blow 2 senbon pierced his neck and 'killed him'; as the masked hunter nin made himself known he took away the body before Yugao realized that they had been tricked. Which now brings her to her latest predicament; Sarada was currently in the middle of a dome of ice mirrors made by the imposter hunter ninja.

"Goddammit" Sarada said as she pulled some senbon out of her arm as she looked at a mirror reflecting the image of the masked boy.

"You should give up already" Haku said as he looked at the glasses wearing kunoichi "I don't want to kill you" he said as the girl looked at him with a glare.

"You know what" Sarada said looking at the boy with anger and frustration in her eyes as they turned red with a black figure 8 in the center "fuck it" she yelled as a wave of chakra exploded from her. Haku was taken aback until he saw a light red ribcage made of chakra surround Sarada as well as a right arm form. 'I have to use this sparingly' Sarada thought as her eyes began to bleed 'I'll have to make this quick' she said as she began to smash the mirrors one by one.

Haku was going from mirror to mirror as he tried to avoid the attacks ' who is this girl' he thought as he bound to another mirror just as the one he was occupying was destroyed.

With Naruto

Naruto who just arrived from the bridge after saving the bridgebuilders daughter and grandson was standing next to his sensei Yugao as they both looked at Sarada summon her partial Susanoo. As they both looked at the chakra that was emanating, they then looked at each other.

"I think Sarada will be fine for right now" Naruto said as Yugao nodded in agreement as she knew that if Sarada was using her trump card she was assured to win.

"Then may I please get your assistance in defeating him" Yugao said as she pointed at Zabuza who was still looking at where his apprentice and that black haired girl were fighting.

'Haku. Looks like you got more than you can handle' Zabuza thought as he looked at Yugao and Naruto 'I better finish this so I can help you' he thought as he charged at Yugao swinging his executioners blade at her.

Yugao ducked under the large blade only to be kicked away by Zabuza; Zabuza was then rushed by Naruto who slashed at him with a kunai. Zabuza was cut across this abdomen as he cursed; Naruto was to slow to dodge the counter attack from Zabuza as he was slashed across the stomach.

Naruto was then kicked into a railing as he sat up only to realize that his guts were on the outside; he then heard 2 yells as he saw both Yugao and Hinata who was defending Tazuna scream in horror. As Hinata rushed to Naruto with Tazuna in tow he wasn't able to distinguish what she was saying. Naruto with only a moment of clarity heard one sentence from Hinata.

"Naruto please don't die; I can't live without you, I love you too much to lose you" Hinata screamed as she rushed trying to save Naruto's life. With a mixture of pain and blood loss, Naruto passed out.

Mind scape

"Foolish boy" Naruto heard as he woke up feeling fine and looked over to where the voice originated; only to nearly die of a heart attack as he saw the 9 tailed fox "how are you suppose to save the future if you die right here" the fox said as Naruto stood up and pointed.

"First of all, how the fuck do you know that" Naruto yelled at the fox "and second I'm not dead yet am I" Naruto finished as the fox glared at him.

"I know about your mission to save the future because I live inside your body; stupid mortal" the fox said as he looked at Naruto who then looked sheepish as he never thought about it that way. "Second I will help you not die" the fox said as Naruto looked confused and spoke up.

"Why the hell would you help me; what's in it for you" Naruto said to which the fox stood up and roared so loud that Naruto felt his ear drums nearly burst.

"If you die I die you fucking retard" the fox yelled as he was trying to explain himself to his idiotic host "I am not helping you out of the kindness of my heart; I just rather not die especially due to your stupidity" the fox finished as Naruto looked back at it and nodded.

"Ok so how do you plan to help me" Naruto asked as the fox laid back down.

"I'll lend you my chakra; it'll heal your wounds and give you a power boost" the fox said as Naruto looked surprised at how he was getting help "be grateful human as I will not help again unless the need is dire. Also bring that Uchiha girl in here so I can converse with her; now be gone" the kyuubi yelled as he pushed Naruto out of the mindscape before he could ask questions.

With Hinata

Hinata was looking at Naruto who had a red cloak of chakra around him; she saw his spilled intestines go back into his body and his wounds close up. Hinata was flabbergasted as when she was working on Naruto a few minutes ago he was knocking on deaths door. 'Naruto? Is this you' Hinata thought as she was looking at the red chakra clad boy.

Naruto then woke up with a startle as he found himself back on the bridge; he stood up and looked at his bloody cloths and saw he was completely healed. 'Thanks for fixing me up fox' Naruto thought as he flexed his muscles feeling no soreness or pain. He then saw Hinata looking at him with a face that couldn't seem to decide on a emotion.

"Naruto" Hinata said in confusion "is that you" she asked as Naruto looked at her like she was crazy.

"Of course, it's me" Naruto said smiling "why would you ask that" he said to which Hinata sweat dropped.

"You're glowing red" Hinata stated as Naruto looked at himself as he realized the fox's chakra was cloaking him "also your eyes are red, your whiskers are darker and you have a tail" Hinata stated as Naruto looked behind him and saw a fox tail which seemed to move on its own.

"Well, that's different" Naruto stated as he grabbed the tail "it's real" Naruto shouted as he tried to pull it off to which he couldn't.

Zabuza was looking at the scene with wide eyes as he was not able to comprehend what was going on "first it was chakra skeletons now it's zombie fox boys" Zabuza shouted as his mind was going into over drive "what's next aliens from the moon" he said.

Yugao taking the opportunity of Zabuza being distracted charged at him; Zabuza realized what was happening and dodged the stab Yugao sent his way only to be hit from the side by Naruto.

Naruto followed up his punch with a kick only to be grabbed and thrown; he then corrected himself and landed on his feet. Zabuza was about to charge Naruto until he saw Haku fly to him; he caught the bloody unconscious boy as he saw the black-haired girl approach holding her eyes which were bleeding.

'Dammit' Zabuza thought as he assessed the situation 'in exhausted, Haku's unconscious and we're out numbered' he thought as he weighed his options. He then heard a clap form the other end of the bridge and saw his employed Gato.

"Amazing Zabuza" said the tiny man sarcastically "you not only got your ass kicked once but now it seems to be happening again" Gato said as Zabuza scowled at the insults. "I guess it's a good thing I brought my boys here" Gato said as he pointed at the 200 or so mercenaries behind him "I guess we can take over from here and- "Gato began only to be covered in black fire along with the rest of his men as they all burned in a fiery inferno.

Once all the mercenaries were dead Sarada called off the Amaterasu flames and fell to a knee clutching her eye 'Damn I only used it 3 times and it already took this much of a toll' she thought as she wiped away the blood and removed her glasses. 'I need to find another pair of sharingan before I go completely blind' she thought as she felt a hand touch her shoulder.

"Are you ok Sarada" Hinata said as Sarada couldn't see who it was but recognized the voice.

"Yeah Hinata" Sarada said half heartedly "could you do something for the burning in my eyes" she said as Hinata nodded not that Sarada could see and applied medical chakra to Sarada's eyes to dull the strain.

Yugao now seeing that the interruption form Gato is over looked at Zabuza "this fight is over just leave and don't come back" she said to which Zabuza nodded. Before he left, he looked at Naruto.

"Hey kid" he said getting Naruto's attention "Sorry for almost killing you; it wasn't personal" he said as Naruto nodded.

"Let's fight again someday" Naruto said as Zabuza chuckled.

"Sure, kid just learn how to wield a sword first; a kunai will only get you so far" he said as he vanished with Haku on his back.

Naruto's chakra cloak faded and he felt light headed as the last thing he remembered was Yugao rushing to catch him.

That night Tazuna's house

Naruto woke up feeling like every muscle in his body was on fire as he turned his head, he saw Sarada sleeping next to him. He decided to wake her up; he tapped her cheek lightly and her eyes fluttered open.

"Naruto" Sarada said half asleep "Naruto your awake she said excitedly" as she hugged him as he hugged back.

"What happened" Naruto asked as Sarada broke the hug and put on her glasses.

"You fell unconscious after the battle on the bridge" Sarada said as Naruto nodded "we brought you back to Tazuna's house to rest; everyone else is asleep I just stayed in this room incase you woke up" she said as Naruto smiled.

"Thanks, Sarada" Naruto said as she smiled back; he then looked at her eyes as they were a little bloodshot "your eyes ok" he asked to which Sarada shook her head.

"I lost 10 percent of my vision" she said as Naruto grimaced "the mangekyo sharingan is a double edge sword; it's powerful but over use will blind you" she said as Naruto sat up.

"How did you get it" Naruto asked as he then regretted it a Sarada froze in fear "it's ok I- "Naruto began as Sarada stopped him.

"It's ok Naruto" she said as she looked him in his eyes "I'll tell you "She said.

Future flashback: Sarada 10 years old

Sarada's Chidori faded from her hand as she looked into eyes of her opponent; as he coughed up blood, he continued to stare at Sarada as her hand filled the fist size hole in his chest.

"I didn't think you had it in you sis" Fugaku Uchiha said to Sarada as she pulled her arm out of her little brother's chest.

"Why didn't you just let me go? Why didn't you come with me? Why do you still serve father; he's a monster" Sarada asked as she began to cry as she held her younger brother to her chest.

"He may be a monster" Fugaku said as he grabbed onto Sarada's hand "but he's, my father; I love him and I'd do anything for him" he then looked up into Sarada's eyes "I love him just as I love you" he said as he began to shake violently.

Sarada looked down as she held her younger brother tight as he was dying; she loved him so dearly and when he came to retrieve her after she ran away, she nearly couldn't bring herself to fight him. But her wish to stop her father and mother was too great so that's what led to the battle between siblings.

As Fugaku's final breath left his lungs and his eyes closed Sarada began to sob, weep and damn the world for being so cruel as to force her to choose between her brother and freedom. As she cried she felt a sting in her eyes; as she stopped she brought out her pocket mirror and looked and saw her sharingan evolve into her mangekyo sharingan. She immediately began to cry and bawl more until she heard a voice from behind her.

"Sarada" Moro said as she picked up her sobbing friend "we gotta go the pursuit squad will be here in a few minutes" she said as Sarada calmed down slightly. Sarada then ran over to her brother's body and sealed him into a storage scroll.

"I'm going to bury him" Sarada said "I love him to much for father to just burn his body like garbage" she said as Moro nodded. As both girls started running once again through the woods Sarada silently cried for she had gained even greater power; but it was at a cost that she didn't want to pay.

Flashback end

"After we escaped, we found the resistance; then I met Tsubaki and later I met Ichigo" Sarada said as she wiped a few tears away. Naruto was stunned; Sarada killed her own brother and gained a power that is slowly crippling her.

Naruto then hugged her and held her tight "if you ever need to talk I'll be there ready to listen" he said letting her go as she smiled at the injured blonde.

"Thank you, Naruto," Sarada said as she moved in and kissed him on his cheek moving away looking at a blushing Naruto. As she was about to leave Naruto held onto her hand and looked into her eyes; Sarada paused and did the same to Naruto. They both then moved closer and closed their eyes as their lips touched and Sarada wrapped her arms around Naruto's neck as Naruto wrapped his arms around Sarada's waist. As they deepened the kiss, they felt a weight being lifted off them as they were alone in their little world. As the broke the kiss they both giggled and blushed at what they just did.

"I'm a little tired" Naruto said to which Sarada understood and began to get up only to be held in place by Naruto "I didn't say I want you to leave" he said as Sarada blushed at the words. Sarada removed her glasses and crawled into bed with Naruto holding him tightly as they both fell asleep wrapped in each other's embrace.
