Hi everyone!
In light of finishing my first book, I have rewritten the summary, changed the title, and created a cover for the book.
For those of you just starting with this book, please know that whether or not I separate the stories or make them into one huge story, it will, nonetheless, span over the course of all seven years of Harry Potter. It is also entirely AU.
Since Fanfiction likes to minimise how much we can write in a summary, I have elongated it for you to read at your leisure. You can skip this and go to the first chapter if you like.
There will still be a few more chapters posted, as I still have to edit and then post.
I am still on the fence about how it will be best, but for now, here you go, Harry Potter and the Canvas of Memories.
Book 1 of Harry Potter and the Blackened Trio:
In the shadowed corners of destiny, three extraordinary lives intertwine. Harry Potter, the Boy Who Lived, finds solace in the enigmatic Sala Zahar, the descendant of the darkest wizard of all time. But fate's twisted hand reveals another player—Regulus Black, the boy resurrected from death itself.
Their paths converge at a forgotten orphanage, each burdened by their own rock bottom, seeking solace where none could be found. A bond forged in the crucible of adversity, they become a force to be reckoned with, a trio that defies the odds.
Years pass, and adults with eyes gleaming with secrets yearn to adopt the gifted Sala, but he rejects their hollow promises. For he knows that true family lies not in the unknown, but in the kinship he shares with Regulus and Harry. Bound by loyalty and love, they defy convention and vanish into the night.
Their journey leads them to a sanctuary of forgotten magic—their ancestral home, a hallowed place that pulses with the ancient legacy of Salazar Slytherin. Within its hallowed halls, they discover hidden chambers, ancient enchantments, and secrets whispered by the walls themselves. Together, they wield their combined strength and revel in the power of their shared heritage.
With unbreakable resolve, the trio forges a pact, a sacred bond that transcends time and space. No force, no authority can sever the ties that bind them. As they traverse the enchanting landscapes that precede their arrival at Hogwarts, their days overflow with mischief, laughter, and the radiant glow of self-discovery.
Book 1 of the Blackened Trio chronicles a tale of extraordinary friendship, where the darkness of the past is outshone by the brilliance of camaraderie. It is a journey that will forever alter the course of their lives and kindle the flames of destiny that flicker within their souls.
To avoid any confusion for new readers, I will also add that the first three chapters are not written in chronological order. Harry's chapter happens in 1988, and Arcturus' chapter happens in 1981, the day after the defeat of Voldemort and the day Sirius is sent to Azkaban. Voldemort's chapter covers a few weeks, ranging from August 1979, with time skips until his defeat.
