Set in Stone: Chapter 27
Naruto and Sarada vs Sasuke
Sasuke charged across the water as Naruto and Sarada both took up defensive stances; Sasuke jumped and spun around ready to land a spinning kick onto Naruto's head. Naruto blocked the kick and held his leg; Sarada the jumped up and proceeded to kick Sasuke in the ribs sending him over the edge of the water fall.
"What an idiot" Sarada said rolling her eyes "charging alone against a superior enemy force; how am I related to him" she said and Naruto chuckled.
Sasuke landed in the water with a splash; he then swam back up to the surface and stood on top of the water. When he did he saw both Sarada and Naruto charging at him; Sarada engaged first by throwing a series of kicks and punched at Sasuke. Sasuke blocked the majority of the punches.
'She's using the interceptor fist style' Sasuke thought 'how the hell did she learn it' he thought. He then caught Sarada's arm as she tried to punch him; Sarada then twisted her body and was able to get behind Sasuke holding his arm behind his back and putting him in a choke hold.
Naruto then came up and seeing Sasuke be grabbed by Sarada began his attack; Naruto started off by punching Sasuke across his face with all his might. Sasuke spat up blood as his head cocked to the side; Naruto then followed up with another and then a punch to the stomach.
Sasuke then kicked Naruto in his chest sending him back; Sasuke then used the back of his head to headbutt Sarada making her nose start to bleed. Sasuke seeing the opportunity he created turned and began to beat Sarada; Sarada took a punch across her face then a kick to her ribs. When Sasuke went in for another hit his fist was blocked; Sarada then proceeded to kick Sasuke in the gut and grab him by the collar.
Sarada using her enhanced strength threw Sasuke to the wall of the valley; Sarada then went through hand signs 'Fire Style: Fire ball Jutsu' Sarada then sent a fire ball towards Sasuke who was now standing on the wall.
Sasuke seeing this went through hand signs himself 'Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu' Sasuke then launched his fire ball; when the 2 jutsu's collided, they created a giant inferno. Sarada then saw Sasuke running towards her at full speed with his hand crackling with lightning; as he got closer Sarada got into a defensive stance trying to time her next move just right.
"Chido- "Sasuke began until he was hit in the side by a rasengan from Naruto; Sasuke was sent skipping across the water until he hit dry land.
"I'm still here asshole" Naruto shouted as he made another hand sign 'shadow clone jutsu' Naruto then created 10 clones that descended on Sasuke. Sasuke got up and began fighting Naruto and his clones; Sasuke punched the first Naruto clone making him dispel. Sasuke then engaged 2 clones form both sides; Sasuke jumped up and performed a double kick making both burst into smoke. When Sasuke landed a Naruto clone punched him in the gut; a second one then sent him up in the air with a kick.
Another Naruto clone jumped off another clone and kicked Sasuke once again sending him even further up; the real Naruto then charged his legs with chakra and jumped above Sasuke.
Sasuke then looked up and saw Naruto's heel just in time before it collided with his face "Uzumaki Barrage" Naruto shouted as Sasuke was sent to the ground. When Sasuke hit the ground, he landed on his back with a smack knocking the wind out of him; when Sasuke looked up, he saw Sarada coming down.
"Chhhhaaaaaa" Sarada shouted as she brought down her chakra infused fist; Sarada then drove her fist into Sasuke's gut cracking the ground underneath him. Sarada then stood back up looking down at Sasuke.
"You little bitch" Sasuke ground out as his curse mark spread across his body even more "I'll kill you and Naruto; and I'll take my time with it" he shouted as he got back up his wounds healing.
Sarada then blocked a flurry of punches from Sasuke; Sarada could barely hold it together as Sasuke's punches made her bones rattle as his strength increased. Sarada was then grabbed by Sasuke and pulled towards him; Sasuke then kneed her in the gut making her cough up blood. Sasuke then grabbed her by the neck and picked her up beginning to choke her.
Sasuke was kicked in the gut by Naruto making him drop Sarada; Naruto then followed up with a kidney shot and a leg sweep. Sasuke fell to the ground and was about to have his head stomped on by Naruto but he jumped away at the last minute to gain some distance; Sasuke then went through hand signs.
'Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu' Sasuke then fired 20 small fire balls at Naruto and Sarada's position; Naruto ran and grabbed the gagging Sarada and used a substitution jutsu. Naruto and Sarada landed on the other side of the river.
"You ok" Naruto said huffing.
"Asshole nearly crushed my wind pipe" Sarada said hoarsely as she applied chakra to her throat "we have to step our game up; use your cloak, I'll use my Susanoo" she said and Naruto nodded.
"Gotcha" Naruto said 'hey fox ready to kick this guy's ass' Naruto said in his mind.
"Let's end the Uchiha once and for all" Kurama said inside Naruto's head.
Sasuke was running across the river when he felt 2 large chakra surges; Naruto was now in his one tail cloak and Sarada was now using her imperfect Susanoo. Sasuke was stunned when he saw this.
"What is this" Sasuke said frightened before steeling himself "What are you 2" he shouted.
Naruto looked at him and smiled "We're the last 2 things you are going to see before you die" he said; Naruto then ran at Sasuke in a burst of speed and kicked him in the head sending him skipping across the water. Sarada then moved and formed a hand with her Susanoo and used it to punch Sasuke down into the water.
Naruto then made several clones and they all dived underwater after Sasuke; Sasuke was sinking to the bottom when he felt a kick to his stomach. Sasuke then saw several Naruto clones coming down; one kicked him in the face while another grabbed him and began to choke him.
Sasuke reached into his kunai holster and took out a kunai; he stabbed it into the Naruto choking him dispelling it. The others then grabbed onto him and held him at the bottom of the river; Sasuke then began to feel his vision fade as the clones began to drown him.
Sarada standing on top of the water then saw the water begin to bubble; just then the real Naruto flew out of the water to the valley wall crashing into it and cracking the stone. Naruto then brought himself out and look at Sarada
"Sarada move" Naruto shouted; Sarada did not hesitate as when she did a massive fire ball came out of the water evaporating the water and creating steam. Sarada landed next to Naruto as they both looked down below
When the steam cleared Sasuke stood there in his final curse mark phase; Sasuke had his sharingan blazing with an evil snarl on his face.
"Naruto" Sasuke shouted in fury "I'll rip out your fucking heart and drink your blood; and I'll kill that fucking girl and everyone you love back in Konoha. You will not humiliate me; you hear me you orphaned gutter trash" he shouted.
"I think he finally lost it" Naruto said looking down at Sasuke "how did a psycho like him even get into the academy; they made us take mental exams" he said and Sarada shrugged.
"I don't know" Sarada said with a sigh "I have my Psychopath dad and a crazy mom; I'm just glad all I have is germaphobia" she said making Naruto chuckle.
"Ok time to step it up a notch" Naruto said as he began to form a second chakra tail; once it was formed both Naruto and Sarada jumped down and charged at Sasuke. Sasuke seeing both Naruto and Sarada approach ran towards them; Sasuke then grew claw like wings out of his back and took to the air.
Sasuke was certain he had an advantage from the air; he then saw a boulder flying at him. Sasuke dodged and saw Sarada down below using her Susanoo to pick up boulders and use them to shoot him out of the sky.
Sasuke dodged another boulder by banking to the left; he then saw Naruto holding onto the boulder. Naruto jumped off the boulder and kicked Sasuke in the face sending him into a valley wall. Naruto landed back on the ground and heard the sound of chirping.
Sasuke was standing on the valley wall with a dark Chidori in his hand "Lets end this" Sasuke shouted; Naruto held out his right hand and began to form a rasengan.
'I didn't have time to perfect it yet' Naruto thought as a purple rasengan formed 'but I guess no time like the present' he thought as he poured wind chakra into his rasengan. His rasengan how had a thin layer of wind chakra around in; Naruto then began to run up a boulder and used all the strength he could muster to jump at Sasuke.
Sasuke using his wings jumped directly at Naruto with his Chidori firmly in his left hand; as the 2 approached Sarada looked on and hoped Naruto's technique will work.
Naruto and Sasuke's jutsu collided and created a bright flash of light; then the light died down Sarada looked to where Naruto and Sasuke were and smiled.
Naruto landed on the other side of the river his right arm numb and cut from the wind chakra going wild 'damn it still needs work but it did the job' he thought.
Sasuke landed on the side of the river with a wet smack; Sasuke then began to scream in pain as he held the stump that was his left arm. Naruto's jutsu cut through Sasuke's Chidori and severed Sasuke's arm at the shoulder.
"Gaaaah" Sasuke shouted as his curse mark began to recede; Sarada then walked over canceling her Susanoo and stood over Sasuke.
"This is for Fugaku" Sarada said before she formed her own Chidori in her hand; Sasuke then held his hand up.
"Wait" Sasuke said "you're a Uchiha, why didn't you come find me; we could've rebuilt the Uchiha clan, we could've- "he began to say. Sarada plunged her Chidori into Sasuke's chest making him go wide eyed; Sasuke coughed up more blood and fell dead on the ground.
Sarada didn't say anything; she just took out a scroll and put Sasuke's body inside. "Well, that's that" Sarada said as she turned to the other side of the river where Naruto was standing; she ran over using her remaining strength.
When she arrived, she was Naruto standing there with his chakra receding back into his body "is he dead" Naruto asked and Sarada nodded. She then walked up and kissed him right on the lips.
"Thanks for helping me kill my dad Naruto" Sarada said "you're the best boyfriend ever" she said and Naruto sweat dropped.
"If you said that with like no context everyone would think you're a psycho" Naruto said making Sarada laugh; just then Naruto fell to the ground and sat himself against a boulder. "I can't feel my legs" Naruto said "I think I tore my muscles with that jump" he said and Sarada chuckled.
Just then 2 pair of feet landed and both Sarada and Naruto looked and saw Anko and Yugao.
"Well shit" Anko said with a smile "you both did it" she said and Naruto and Sarada both smiled and nodded weakly. Yugao then went over to Naruto and hosted the boy onto her back.
"Let's go home" Yugao said and everyone nodded; Yugao and Anko went at a brisk pace to let the fatigued Sarada keep pace with them as all 4 ninjas left the valley.
Hidden among the trees there was a hidden figure "Itachi isn't going to like this/ his little brother perished how sad" Zetsu said. "We should- "Zetsu began until his head was chopped off.
Hayate using his stealth skills snuck up behind Zetsu and delivered a debilitating blow "Jiraya now" Hayate shouted.
Jiraya then finished his hand seals and slammed it onto a scroll "seal" he shouted; Zetsu's body was then sucked into a scroll and sealed. Jiraya then making sure put even more seals on it so that way it cannot be opened; he then summoned a small toad and gave him the scroll.
"Take this to Ma and Pa; make sure he never sees the light of day" Jiraya said and the toad nodded taking the scroll with Zetsu back to Mount Myuboku. "Ok so that's done and done" Jiraya said with a huff.
"Freaky bastard" Hayate said not believing such a creature was able to exist "shall we go" Hayate said and Jiraya nodded.
"Yeah, lets report back" Jiraya said as the 2 disappeared in a swirl of leaves.
Konoha 4 hours later
Naruto was lying in a hospital bed bandaged head to toe; nearly every bone in his body had a fracture and all his muscles were torn. 'Damn I think I went a little over board' Naruto thought 'well at least with the fox healing me I should be out soon' he thought.
Just then Sarada, Moro, Tsubaki, Hinata and Tsume walked in.
"How you feeling babe" Tsume said walking up with her arm in a sling "you feeling better" she said going down and kissing him.
"Yeah, I'm fine" Naruto said "the bastard gave me some good hits but I'm still ok; how're you and your arm" he said looking at her arm.
"Kakashi broke it but it'll heal perfectly fine" Tsume said with a smile "did you hear about Kiba" Tsume said and Naruto nodded. "It's weird I don't feel anything" Tsume said "I know he was my son but after hearing all the things he did or will do; I don't feel sad or regretful" she said.
"I feel fucking great" Moro said with a smile "like a giant weight has been lifted off my chest" she said and then wincing feeling the stitches on her cheeks.
"What happened to your face Moro" Naruto asked curious.
"Dick face Kiba stabbed me with a kunai" she said "but I did worse to him; believe it" she said and Naruto smiled.
"Tsubaki, looks like you're healing nicely" Naruto said making Tsubaki smile.
"I feel like shit" Tsubaki said with her swollen face and sore throat "but with my mom healing me I'll be 100 percent in a few weeks" she said. "On the bright side I'm still going to be hot; and while I'm staying here, I can work on my book" she said with a smile.
"I'm glad to hear that" Naruto said and then he looked around "where's Ichigo and Yakumo" he asked and Hinata spoke up.
"Yakumo is being chiseled out of her crystal prison; she's alive that's what really matters" Hinata said "Ichigo however is unconscious from his fight with Kakashi; chakra exhaustion. Ino is with him right now" she said and Naruto nodded.
"No one on our side died" Naruto said with a smile "a perfect mission in my book" Naruto said.
Just then the door opened once more and Jiraya walked in "glad to see you up kid" he said walking in "I got some info that you all will think is pretty interesting" he said.
"Whatcha got pervy sage" Naruto said making a tic mark form on Jiraya's forehead.
"First is that while you and Sarada were getting evacuated by Yugao and Anko; me and Hayate were able to kill and seal up that Zetsu; that Akatsuki member" he said making everyone go wide eyed. "Yeah, apparently he was nearby and was viewing the entire fight; me and Hayate were staying out of sight just incase someone else came along" he said and Sarada let out a breath of relief.
"Well, that's something I didn't expect; but hey at least we are a little bit ahead now" she said making everyone nod "what else is there" she asked and Jiraya smirked.
"Tayuya and Guren agreed to help us out by giving info in exchange for a pardon, sanctuary and for me to remove her curse mark" he said making everyone look to him in confusion "Tayuya didn't like working for Orochimaru and when she found out Kin was alive and with us, she switched sides; by the way Naruto, Kin and Tayuya want to talk to you for what I don't know" he said making Naruto nod.
'Wonder what they want' Naruto thought.
"Guren however is the tricky one" he said gaining their attention "she has better information than Tayuya but she wants something in return; and that's where you come in Naruto" he said pointing at Naruto. "When you're healed; you, me, Kin, Tayuya and Karin are all going on an extraction mission" he said making everyone even more confused "Guren is raising a kid called Yukimaru; she wants him safe and in Konoha before she spills what she knows. She doesn't care what happens to her as long as the kid is safe; she even provided a little show of good faith by letting Yakumo out of the crystal" he said.
Naruto looked at himself and then at Jiraya; Naruto thought it over and nodded "when do we go" he said making Jiraya smile.
"We leave in a week; you'll be healed enough to go and we'll get more solid info" Jiraya said walking out "I'll let Guren know we have a deal" he said.
"Wow finished one mission and ready to do another" Moro said "you have more will power than I do that's for sure" she said making Naruto grin and rub the back of his head.
The next week
Jiraya, Naruto, Karin, Kin and Tayuya were all walking down a road; they just left the village no more than 30 minutes ago. Tayuya was re adjusting her new Konoha head band on her shoulder when she looked over at Kin.
"Just like the old day huh Kin" Tayuya said and Kin nodded "man it's been fucking ages since I've been on a mission with you; kinda sucks we have that fucking sleazebag pervert over there" she said pointing her thumb at Jiraya.
"Hey I'm not a sleaze bag pervert" he shouted in offence "I'm a super pervert" he stated proudly making everyone sweat drop. "Now then we better get a move on to this base 36; where did you say it was again Tayuya" he asked and Tayuya spoke.
"It's hidden in a forest near Taki" Tayuya said "should be there in like 3 days or so" she said and Naruto looked excited.
"Sweet another mission in a foreign land" Naruto said before looking at Tayuya "you ready to stick it to Orochimaru for a second time Tayuya" she said and Tayuya smirked.
"Fuck yeah I am" Tayuya said "I just hope that the old snake fucker is there; that would be the icing on the cake" she said with a smile.
"Ok enough chit chat; lets get a move on" Jiraya said as they all began to run down the road.
