Hello everyone I'm back once again to bring you all another chapter of my story; I hope you all keep supporting my work. Also for those wondering why Kabuto did not come and rescue Sasuke; remember he got taken by Ibiki and the Anbu. Ok with nothing else to say let's begin.
Set in Stone: Chapter 28
With Naruto and company: Takigakure outer defenses
"Ok then" Jiraya said walking out of the village defensive lines and walking up to Naruto, Karin, Tayuya and Kin who were eating lunch "I've gotten permission to operate in the area; we have a 3-day window to complete this mission so let's go and get this crap over with. Otherwise, we'll be forced out and miss out on getting that info from Guren" he said and they all stood up.
"Karin keep your senses open, Kin your ears, Naruto be ready to fight just in case someone comes out" Jiraya said and they all nodded.
"Copy that Lord Jiraya" Karin said readjusting her glasses.
"Copy" Kin said.
"Ok great let's go" Tayuya said stretching "I want to get this done as soon as possible; I hate fucking camping" she said and Kin chuckled. "Ok I'll lead the way; it's in the western forest I believe" Tayuya said.
"Alright let's go save that kid" Naruto said with a cheer.
'Confident little fucker isn't he' Tayuya thought 'I guess that's why Kin into him… or at least I hope so' Tayuya thought as she began to lead the team west of the village.
2 hours later
As the team walked through the forest Naruto walked up to Kin and spoke "Tayuya is pretty cool" Naruto said "I can see why you hang out with her; she has a foul mouth but she's pretty fun to chat with once you get to know her" Naruto said and Kin smiled.
"Yeah of course" Kin said before blushing "but that's not the only reason I hang out with her" Kin said a little bashful making Naruto confused.
"Huh what do you mean Kin" Naruto asked confused why Kin was so flustered.
"Welll… it's uhhh… it's like- "Kin began until Naruto grabbed her and pulled her to safety as a gust of wind hit just where they were just at.
"What the hel- "Tayuya said before a bright light blinded her and made her stumble back "fucking fuck" Tayuya shouted as she rubbed her eyes.
Jiraya who shielded his eyes in time say the attacker running at him; he blocked and grabbed the attackers' arm and put her into wrist lock.
"Who are you and- "Jiraya began until the girl disappeared from his grasp and he looked around; the girl then reappeared in front of him and kicked him in the nuts breaking his defenses. She was about to follow up with another attack but was kicked by Naruto from the side; the girl then retreated up a tree and looked down.
"Intruders" the girl shouted "you have violated the neutrality of Takigakure; now you will face the wrath of Fu, container of the 7 tails" she shouted. Naruto looked at the girl and saw her unusual features; she was a petite girl with tan skin, orange eyes and mint green hair.
'Wait did she said container of the 7 tails' Naruto thought with wide eyes.
"Now prepare for- "Fu began until Jiraya held up his hand.
"Wait, wait we are from Konoha" Jiraya shouted before reaching into his pocket and pulling out a piece of paper "we have permission from your leader Shibuki to operate in your nation; we are not your enemy" he said.
Fu then went from confident to downright embarrassed "oh my god I'm sorry" she said jumping down and running up to them and grabbing the paper; she read it and realized it's legit. "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry; I wasn't informed; are you all ok" she asked worried she caused a international incident.
"Fuck no I'm not" Tayuya said stumbling around "when I get my vision back, I'm gonna stomp your ass" she said; Karin then went over to Tayuya and kept her from stumbling around blind.
"Tayuya stop" Karin said "let me take a look at your eyes" she said and Tayuya nodded; Karin then looked at her eyes and after a few seconds sighed. "The blindness is temporary; we better set up camp and wait for your eyes to heal" Karin said and Jiraya nodded.
"Looks like we have no choice" Jiraya said; Fu then stepped forward.
"I'll go collect fire wood" Fu said; she then picked up a basket behind a tree and gave it to Naruto "I was mushroom picking; they will make a great soup" she said before darting off in the woods.
Naruto then walked up to Jiraya "hey pervy sage do you think she can help us" Naruto said and Jiraya looked in thought.
"Maybe" Jiraya said "let's see if we can get her assistance; maybe let the fox talk to her tenant" he said and Naruto nodded.
Later on, that night
"So, you guys are here to rescue a kid for a informant" Fu said taking another spoonful of mushroom soup into her mouth.
"Yes, we are" Jiraya said taking a bite himself "Tayuya here has a general idea where the base is at; but with you here you could lead us to it a lot easier" he said and Fu thought for a moment.
"Well, I think I can help out; I'm sure Shibuki won't mind" she said with a thoughtful look "plus I need to make up for attacking you earlier; hey Tayuya right… what land marks were near the base if you remember" she asked.
Tayuya looked at her with one eye closed as the other has not regained its vision "it was near a lake with a decent sized cliff next to it" Tayuya said with a huff that Fu did not miss.
"I'm still sorry about blinding you" Fu said sheepishly "I thought you were bad guys" she said a little saddened; Tayuya saw this and frowned.
"Ughhhh" Tayuya groaned "fine I forgive you damn it; just don't blind me again" she said and Fu brightened up.
"Awesome we're friends now" Fu said hugging Tayuya who looked uncomfortable with the physical contact.
"Hey Fu" Naruto said gaining the girls attention "you said you are the container of the 7 tails correct" he said and Fu nodded. "Well, it just happens to be that I'm the container of the 9 tails; if you want, we can let our biju talk" he said. Fu let go of Tayuya and skipped over to Naruto.
"That sounds great" Fu said "Chomei only talks to me; I'm sure she'd like to talk to another one of her friends" she said and Naruto nodded. "Ok let's do it" Fu said; her and Naruto both got into a meditative position and grabbed hands. For a moment nothing happened; the next moment both containers began to ooze a small amount of their chakra that formed around their hands.
In the mindscape
Naruto and Fu opened their eyes and looked behind then; Kyuubi and Chomei were both behind their respective containers.
"Kurama" Chomei said passively "It's been a while; what was it 70 years" Chomei said.
"73 years" Kurama said without his usual anger or sarcasm "Last time I saw you that foolish First Hokage gave you to the Waterfall village as part of a alliance; it has been a while" he said.
"Shall we catch up then" Chomei said; Naruto and Fu both had smiles on their faces as the 2 Biju conversed for the first time in decades. After a long conversation both Biju said their farewells and both Fu and Naruto began to exit their shared mindscape.
Out of the mindscape
Naruto and Fu both opened their eyes and saw that the sun had risen up.
"Holy fuck you guys are back" Tayuya shouted "hey Karin, Kin, pervert they're both up now" she said; Karin, Kin and Jiraya all ran out of their tents and came up to them.
"Naruto what the hell happened" Karin said hugging him "we were so worried" she said and Naruto looked at her confused.
"Huh what we were only gone for like a few hours" Naruto said "it looks like it's 5 am or so" Naruto said.
"Naruto" Jiraya said grabbing the boy "you and Fu have been meditating for over 30 hours; we didn't touch or move you because we were worried if we did, we could do something to kill you" he said making both containers' eyes go wide.
"What the hell fox" Naruto shouted "you literally wasted a whole day" he shouted out loud.
"How about you meet someone you haven't seen for over half a century and see if the conversation lasts for a few minutes" Kurama shouted back. Naruto huffed as both he and Fu stood up; just then Naruto grabbed his stomach and Fu squeezed her legs together.
"Oh man I gotta go" Naruto said as he ran off into the woods.
"Gotta pee, gotta pee, gotta pee" Fu said as she went in the opposite direction.
"Well at least they have their priorities straight" Kin said shaking her head.
"Ok after they are both done, we gotta get a move on" Jiraya said "we have about 2 days left to find the kid" Jiraya said as the others nodded and went to break down the camp.
3 Hours later
Fu was leading Naruto, Kin, Tayuya, Jiraya and Karin around the woods in order to find the secret hide out; so far, they checked 4 different locations that had a description like what Tayuya said she remembered.
"Ok location number 5" Fu said with a pep in her step "if this isn't it, we have 10 more locations to check" she said making Tayuya hang her head.
"I hate the fucking woods" she said; Kin then came up and patted her shoulder.
"Just hang on Tayuya" Kin said and Tayuya huffed.
"Ok here we are" Fu said as they arrived at the destination; Karin's sensory ability then went crazy as she looked at the cliff.
"I sense a lot of chakra signatures" Karin said "I count about 31 chakra signatures; all seem to be male at least chunin level except for one which seems to be really low. Probably the kid but I can't be for certain" Karin said.
"Ok let's get a closer look" Jiraya said as the group began to walk across the water to the cliff; as they approached, they saw that there was a genjutsu placed on the cliff. Jiraya then dispelled it revealing a heavy metal door. "Great" Jiraya said "we are going to have to blast the door now; it'll ruin the element of surprise" he said.
"Fuck and there are no other ways in" Tayuya said "oh well lets- "she began until Fu stepped forward.
"I got it" Fu said turning around and facing the group "watch this" she said; Fu then disappeared and everyone looked around confused. Naruto was looking around until he saw Fu fly in front of him; Fu was about the size of a Q tip and flying around with what looks like wings coming from her back "hey Naruto look; Pretty cool right" Fu said with a smile as everyone looked at her in awe.
"No fucking way" Tayuya said.
"I-I-I" Kin stuttered as she did not believe what she was seeing.
"That's why I didn't sense you when you attacked" Karin said "I can't sense really small signatures" she said adjusting her glasses.
"Holy crap you're like a fairy Fu" Naruto said with stars in his eyes; Fu giggled and looked at Jiraya.
"Give me 5 minutes" Fu said before flying to the door and slipping under a crack; Jiraya was rubbing his temples.
"God this is such a weird world" Jiraya said; Jiraya and the group waited for a few minutes for Fu. Just then the door began to click for almost a minute straight and it slowly began to open; as it opened a random unconscious sound ninja fell face first out the door into the water with Fu standing behind him.
"Sorry I took so long" Fu said "it needed a blood seal to open; so, I had to beat up a guard" she said rubbing the back of her head and sticking out her tongue.
"I don't give a fuck as long as we get in" Tayuya said walking in; she then stopped and patted Fu's shoulder "good job… friend" Tayuya said awkwardly but Fu smiled non the less.
"Ok then" Jiraya said "Naruto; you Fu and Karin go one way and me, Kin and Tayuya go the other. If you find the kid send a clone; if we find him, I'll do the same. Everyone in the facility is hostile; engage to kill if necessary" Jiraya said.
Naruto Fu and Karin went left while Jiraya, Kin and Tayuya went right.
With Naruto, Fu and Karin
Naruto Fu and Karin were walking steadily down a hallway when they heard voices; they then saw 2 oto shinobi walking with their backs turned.
"Karin would you kindly" Naruto said with a smile and Karin nodded.
"Sure" Karin said; Karin summoned 2 chakra chains and sent them to the oblivious ninja. The 2-sound ninja were wrapped up in the chains unable to move "ok get them" Karin said and both Naruto and Fu went charging ahead.
Naruto and Fu both jumped in the air and delivered spinning head kicks to the ninjas knocking them out as Karin's chains receeded.
"That was so cool; those chains are like super awesome" Fu said complementing Karin who blushed from the praise.
"Oh, please it wasn't that cool" Karin said "bit I appreciate it though" Karin said
"Ok let's keep going; I want to beat up more bad guys" Fu said with excitement.
Naruto, Fu and Karin all made their way deeper into the base to find the Yukimaru.
With Jiraya, Kin and Tayuya
A Oto shinobi fell to the ground with 2 senbon in his neck unconscious; Kin then walked up and pulled them out and put them back in her holster.
"That makes 4 now" Kin said "man I know I wasn't nothing special when I was in Oto; but damn these guys suck" Kin said making Tayuya chuckle.
"The snake fucker always preferred quantity over quality" Tayuya said "after all how do you explain the crap tornado that was the invasion" Tayuya said.
'Please that was because of my genius planning' Jiraya thought 'damn it sucks knowing I will never get my credit; but hey the village is safe and everyone who matters knows' he thought. An Oto ninja then popped up behind Jiraya ready to stab him with a kunai; Jiraya then effortlessly grabbed the hand holding the kunai and flipped the attacker. The ninja then slammed on his back coughing out blood; Jiraya then balled up his fist and punched the ninja knocking him out "can I get an actual opponent than these random jobbers" Jiraya said to himself.
Just then Jiraya spotted a solid metal door with the words 'detention room 1' on it.
"Ok let's see if the little fucker is in here" Tayuya said as she began unlocking the door; upon unlocking and opening it all 3 looked inside and looked at the occupant.
"Uhhh… who are you" Kin said confused.
With Naruto, Karin and Fu
Naruto drove a rasengan into another Oto shinobi sending him into a wall knocking him out; Karin using her chains grabbed another Oto Shinobi and began slamming him against the walls until he was knocked out.
"Wow who knew there were so many bad guys here" Fu said as she spat out a web like binding onto an enemy shinobi before kicking him in the face knocking him out.
"I know like what the hell" Karin said "how did your village not know or realize there was such a large base here" she said and Fu shrugged her shoulders.
"Hey look" Naruto said pointing to a door that said 'Detention room 2' "lets see if Yukimaru is in there" Naruto said as he ran up to the door and unlocked it. Naruto then opened up the door with Fu and Karin behind him; they then saw a young boy with pale green hair, magenta eyes and wearing a Kimono looking scared at the door.
"Who are you people" Yukimaru said nervously before Karin stepped forward.
"Are you Yukimaru" Karin said with a smile and the boy nodded "we are here because Guren wanted us to bring you to her; she's in Konoha waiting for you" Karin said.
Yukimaru hearing Guren's name became a little less afraid "she told you to come get me" he said and Karin nodded; Yukimaru was then helped up by Karin "I can't wait to see her I was really worried" he said.
"Now then let's- "Karin began until there was a loud explosion "what the hell was that" Karin said holding a cowering Yukimaru.
"I don't know but let's find out" Naruto said as he, Karin, Fu and Yukimaru all began to run down the hallways to see what caused the explosion. As they ran down the halls, they heard the sounds of battle up ahead and prepared for the worst.
As they reached the area Naruto saw rhey were now in a wide-open arena type place; Naruto then saw an unconscious Kin on the ground, a wounded Tayuya and a panting Jiraya.
"Pervy sage what- "Naruto began until he ducked down to the ground as something flew overhead; Naruto turned to look and saw the upper half of an Oto ninja making Yukimaru scream in fear.
"Naruto" Jiraya shouted "is that the Kid" he asked and Naruto nodded; Jiraya then turned to Tayuya "Tayuya grab Kin and the kid and get out of here" he shouted.
"Ok pervert" Tayuya said picking up Kin "good luck against him; you're gonna fucking need it" Tayuya said to Naruto as she ran out with Kin on her shoulder and Yukimaru in tow.
"Hahahaha" a Psychotic laugh echoed throughout the arena "they won't get far; I'll tear them apart and play with their innards hahahaha," said the deranged person. Just then a tall boy came into the light from the shadows; he had orange hair and was wearing what seemed like prison garbs.
However, what struck Naruto the most was his appearance; his right side looked normal but his left side looked like Sasuke's when he used his final curse mark phase except his left arm looked like a mix between a gauntlet and a battle axe.
"Naruto, Karin, Fu; I require your assistance" Jiraya said "this guy… Jugo is what Tayuya called him; he's completely unhinged, we need to either kill or restrain him. We can't let him walk around freely on the outside; who knows what he'll do" Jiraya said.
Naruto looked at the crazy orange haired boy and frowned "ok pervy sage" Naruto said getting into a taijutsu stance.
Karin summoned out 2 chakra chains and adjusted her glasses.
Fu brought out her wings and began to fly a few feet off the ground.
"Hey big guy" Naruto shouted to Jugo who looked at him with a crazed smile "lets get it on" he said before making a hand seal 'multi shadow clone jutsu' Naruto then created over 100 shadow clones.
"Hahahaha" Jugo laughed "bring it runt; you will still die in the end" Jugo said before charging at Naruto and his clones.
Ok another chapter done; yep I'm bringing both Fu and Jugo into the story now people. I like Fu because I think she has a lot of potential and I like Jugo because he's crazy and violent (kinda like Guts from berserk… although I'm like 99% sure Guts will kick Jugo's ass).
