Set in Stone: Chapter 31 (Orochimaru's down fall: part 1)
Land of Rivers: With Naruto and crew
Naruto, Sarada, Ichigo, Tsubaki, Moro, Hinata, Fu, Haku, Karin, Ino, Guren and Tayuya were all following Jiraya to where Orochimaru was supposedly hiding; Suddenly Karin stopped gaining everyone's attention.
"I sense a lot of chakra signatures up ahead" Karin said and everyone looked to her.
"How many do you sense" Jiraya asked and Karin focused; she closed her eyes then re-opened them.
"I sense about 300 low to medium signatures and 1 extremely high signature" Karin said and Jiraya nodded.
"Ok then" Jiraya said "Naruto and Sarada with me; Ichigo, Tsubaki and Moro will lead the attack with the others" Jiraya said and Tsubaki nodded.
"Gotcha pop" Tsubaki said before turning around "ok ladies and lady boy and Ichigo" Tsubaki said making Haku sweat drop. "We have 200 asses to kick so let kick them good" Tsubaki said and her team smiled; Tsubaki then walked over to Naruto and gave him a hug "good luck be safe" she said and Naruto smiled and hugged her back.
"You be safe too ok" Naruto said "now get your hands off my ass" Naruto said making Tsubaki let go of Naruto's ass and hop back with a lecherous grin.
"C'mon it's just so grabbable" Tsubaki said making everyone sweat drop "ok people let get this party started" Tsubaki said as she and her team disappeared in swirls of leaves.
"She is most certainly your daughter" Naruto said and Jiraya nodded.
"Yeah, the apple doesn't fall far from the tree" Jiraya said with a hearty laugh; he then became serious "ok enough jokes; lets end this once and for all" Jiraya said and the team nodded.
Naruto and the others then went into a good position and waited for the attack to commence.
With Orochimaru
Orochimaru was in his throne room listening to a report from one of his few remaining commanders when a loud crash erupted.
"What the hell is that" Orochimaru shouted; just then a sound ninja ran into the room.
"Lord Orochimaru; it's Konoha they found us" he said "there are about 9 or so ninja attacking the entrance" he said and Orochimaru cursed.
'I have no choice I have to fight' Orochimaru thought as he began to walk out of the room "I'm heading to the escape enterance; I'll flank them" he said and he left
The ninja who came to warn Orochimaru then left the room and collapsed on the ground to everyone's confusion.
With Ino and Ichigo
Ino woke up and saw Ichigo "Mission complete" Ino said as she stood up and activated her communication device "Lord Jiraya; Orochimaru is going to the escape enterance" Ino said.
"Copy that Ino; thanks" Jiraya said over the radio; Ino then got up and looked at the battle raging a few hundred yards away.
Tsubaki was tearing up the earth. Moro was flying around the battle field like a hurricane. Several crystal pillars were sticking out of the ground. And there was a dome of Ice mirrors.
"Shall we go my love" Ichigo said unsheathing his sword; Ino smiled and unsheathed her sword as well.
"Let go babe" Ino said before patting Ichigo on the butt making him jump; Ino then ran into the fray with Ichigo right behind her.
With Naruto, Jiraya, Sarada
Naruto, Jiraya and Sarada were hiding near the emergency escape entrance waiting for Orochimaru to come out of his hole.
"Where is that pasty motherfucker" Naruto said making both Sarada and Jiraya look at him "I want to get this over as soon as possible" he said; just then an explosion went off where Ichigo and the others were. "Damn it; I bet those guys are having a blast fighting all those jobbers" Naruto said. Sarada then put a hand on his shoulder and smiled.
"Don't worry honey" Sarada said "once we are done with Orochimaru we'll go join them" she said making Naruto nod with a small smile.
Just then the secret entrance opened and Orochimaru walked out; Jiraya scowled, Sarada cracked her knuckles and Naruto smiled and made a hand sign.
Orochimaru exited the entrance and was about to flank his attackers; Orochimaru then felt a surge of chakra and then turned. He saw a wall of wind coming towards him and saw preparing to dodge; the wall of wind was then hit by a fireball turning the wall of wind into a giant inferno coming towards him.
Orochimaru quickly went through hand signs 'Earth Style: Mud Wall' Orochimaru then slammed his hand on the ground creating a wall in front of him. The wall was hit by the fire and held on for a few seconds; the wall then shattered and sent Orochimaru flying backwards into a tree.
Orochimaru then got back up and looked and saw his three opponents "Jiraya" Orochimaru hissed "they Kyuubi brat and that glasses wearing girl; so you are here to finish me off huh" Orochimaru said and Naruto nodded.
"Yeah, we are" Naruto said as he got into his fighting stance "you've been a pain in our ass for too long; time for you to go to hell where you belong" he said.
Sarada removed her glasses revealing her sharingan and making Orochimaru's eyes go wide "the sharingan; how do you have it" he asked.
"Why would I tell you that" Sarada said making Orochimaru chuckle.
'Since losing Sasuke I thought my ambitions were foiled; but now looks like I have a second chance' Orochimaru thought licking his lips and making Sarada shiver
"Hey buddy eyes off my girl" Naruto shouted "besides I thought you liked little boys" he said with smirk; Orochimaru then looked at him and scowled.
"You just signed your death certificate boy" Orochimaru said; Orochimaru then went through hand signs "summoning Jutsu" Orochimaru shouted. Just then Manda the snake boss appeared.
"What do you need Orochimaru" Manda hissed. Just then Jiraya went through hand signs.
The next moment Gamabunta the toad boss appeared "Hello Manda" Gamabunta said smoking his pipe "I'll be your opponent; you slippery reptile bastard" he said making Manda hiss.
"Naruto, Sarada" Jiraya shouted "I'll help Gamabunta you 2 take out Orochimaru" he said and both Naruto and Sarada nodded.
"Ok Sarada" Naruto said "lets kick his ass" he said as he and Sarada charged in.
With Moro and Tsubaki
"Punch to the face" Tsubaki shouted as she punched another sound ninja making his head explode; "Kick to the nuts" the shouted as she kicked another shinobi in between the legs splitting her in half. "Whoops that was a woman" Tsubaki said.
"Can you please take this seriously" Moro said taking out several kunai and throwing them at a enemy shinobi; she then saw a group of five more charging over her. Moro charged and then began to spin 'fang over fang' Moro then plowed into the group slicing and cutting them to ribbons.
"Dude I can have a little fun" Tsubaki said ducking under a sword strike from a enemy and grabbing the arm "unlike you I'm not a total buzz kill" she said before snapping the arm and using the sword to stab the enemy.
'Ughhh why am I always teamed up with her' Moro thought as she continued fighting.
With Ichigo and Ino
Ichigo slashed a enemy shinobi with his electrified sword causing him to spasm and die horribly; Ichigo then did a spin and with a swift kick broke an enemies neck.
Ino was a few feet away, she was focusing on a group of three shinobi charging at her; Ino got into a low crouch. In one moment, she was there; the next she was behind the 3 shinobi. The shinobi dropped to the ground as their heads fell off; Ino flicked off the blood from her sword and turned to Ichigo who was looking at her impressed.
"That's so hot" Ichigo said making Ino roll her eyes.
"You're such a dork" Ino said; just then Ino saw more enemies charging towards them "shall we continue" she said and Ichigo eye smiled.
"Lead the way" he said as he and Ino both charged ahead.
With Naruto and Sarada
"Rasengan" Naruto shouted as he drove the jutsu into Orochimaru's gut; Orochimaru was sent flying into a boulder destroying it. Orochimaru then shed his old body and got back up; he then saw Sarada running towards him and prepared to defend himself.
Sarada threw a punch at Orochimaru which he blocked followed up with a kick which connected with Orochimaru's ribs; Orochimaru then grabbed Sarada's leg and was about to slam her to the ground. But Sarada acted first by hopping up and kicking Orochimaru with her other leg making him let go.
Sarada fell to the ground and performed a sweep kick swiping Orochimaru off his feet and to the ground; Sarada then attempted to stomp down on Orochimaru's head but the snake sanin dodged at the last minute. Orochimaru jumped away and went through hand signs.
'Water Style: Water bullets' Orochimaru fired several water bullets at Sarada who responded by going through her own set of hand signs.
'Fire Style: Phoenix flower jutsu' Sarada then fired several small fireballs at the approaching fire bullets; the result was the water and fire creating steam blocking Sarada's vision. Orochimaru then came out of the steam and punched Sarada in the face; he then followed up with a kick to her jaw making her spit up blood.
Orochimaru was about to punch again but his hand was caught by Naruto; Naruto retaliated by punching Orochimaru. Naruto punched Orochimaru again and was about to hit him again but Orochimaru caught his hand; Naruto not deterred proceeded to headbutt Orochimaru in the face using his headband as his weapon.
Orochiamru's nose shot out blood and before he could retaliate was kicked away by Naruto.
"You ok Sarada" Naruto asked picking her up.
"I'm fine Naruto" Sarada said wiping her lip "man he's tougher than last time; but he's in his prime now" Sarada said.
Orochimaru got back up and spat out blood "insolent brats" Orochimaru spat out; he then summoned out his Kusanagi "you will die here Kyuubi brat" he said pointing at Naruto. "And you will be my new vessel" Orochimaru said pointing to Sarada; Orhochimaru the charged at the 2 of them ready to take them out
With Jiraya and Gamabunta
Gamabunta spat out large stream of oil at Manda; Jiraya was going through hand signs.
'Fire Style: Dragon flame bomb' Jiraya then fired a stream of fire that mixed with the oil that Gamabunta was spitting out; the result was a river of fire going straight to the snake boss.
Manda dodged the fire at the last minute and retaliated by firing a stream of venom towards Gamabunta; Gamabunta dodged but was still hit by the venom on his arm. Jiraya holding on looked down.
"Gamabunta; are you ok" Jiraya shouted.
"He got me bad Jiraya" Gamabunta said looking down at his purple arm "I'll keep on fighting but if I don't get help soon I'll die" he said.
"Very well" Jiraya said "lets kill him before that happens; then you can go and get help" Jiraya said as he and Gamabunta got ready to go back into battle.
With Guren and Tayuya
Guren sent a pilar of crystal towards a group of sound ninja killing them; she then created another pilar to block some shuriken coming towards her. Guren saw that it came from another sound ninja; she was about to retaliate when she saw something.
The ninja was then crushed to death by a Oni with a club; Tayuya then jumped down from a tree next to her summon.
"Fuck these guys suck" Tayuya said "I swear Orochimaru is one dumb fucker to hire retards like these" she said and Guren sighed.
"Tayuya can you please not curse so much" Guren asked "it's not very ladylike" she said and Tayuya huffed.
"Nope" Tayuya said taking out a kunai and throwing it killing another ninja "now lets get back to killing these fuckers; I want to get this done ASAP" she said.
Guren let out a sigh and got ready as the next wave of Ninja came at them.
With Hinata and Fu
Hinata ducked under a punch from a Sound shinobi and retaliated with a palm strike to the gut knocking the man out.
"Hey Hinata I have a question" Fu said before kicking a sound ninja knocking him out "why are you only knocking them out" she asked. "I mean I'm doing it because I don't have any weapons on me but you can like poke them and kill them" she said and Hinata sighed.
"I prefer not to kill if I don't have to" Hinata said and Fu nodded.
"You're a good person Hinata" Fu said making Hinata smile "ok lets go and kick some more ass ok" Fu said and she and Hinata left the area.
With Karin and Haku
Haku had 20 sound ninjas inside his ice dome trying to keep them all contained; he was bouncing from mirror to mirror taking out ninja after ninja with ease. Over the past few years, he has mastered the use of Zabuza's sword; he can now wield it like he was born with it.
Haku left his mirror once more landing on the ground faster than anyone could see; Haku then sliced through 5 enemies at once before going back into his mirror.
'This is going by pretty smoothly' Haku thought; he then heard another scream from outside the dome 'looks like Karin is still working' he thought.
Karin was standing on top of the dome using her chakra chains to take out any Sound ninja that tried to attack from the outside; Karin sent her chains out once more and stabbed through another ninja.
"Just go away" Karin shouted to the ninja's down below "you don't have to be Orochimaru's cannon fodder; just leave" she said. 'God these goons are so dumb' she thought as she sent out her chains once more to skewer another enemy.
With Naruto and Sarada
Naruto got cut across the chest by Orochimaru's sword; Orochimaru was about to slash him again but his blade was blocked by Sarada using a kunai. Sarada then parried the sword and began to slash at Orochimaru who was stepping back; Sarada then jumped back to gain some distance and landed next to Naruto.
"Naruto; are you ok" she asked and Naruto nodded.
"Yeah, I'm fine" Naruto said "the fox is handling the poison and healing my wounds" he said showing his already healing wound.
Orochimaru was now furious; his time was being wasted on these 2. Just then a sound ninja ran up.
"Lord Orochimaru our forces are being devastated; we need to retreat" he said trying to inform Orochimaru.
Orochimaru then smiled; he had one last card up his sleeve; "Kyuubi brat" Orochimaru said going through hand signs "I have a special surprise for you" he said grabbing the sound ninja. "Edo Tensei" Orochimaru shouted.
The poor sound ninja then began to be enveloped in dust as the jutsu took effect; Naruto and Sarada braced for who ever appeared as they knew from experience the difficulty of fighting a reanimated puppet.
The form took shape and what revealed was someone Naruto has only seen once; his mother Kushina.
Kushina opened her eyes and looked at Naruto "Naruto is that you; what are you doing here. Did you get older" she said and Naruto looked at Orochimaru and scowled.
"That's pretty low asshole" Naruto said through grit teeth "using my own mother against me" he said and Orochimaru chuckled.
"What's wrong brat; can't bring yourself to kill mommy" Orochimaru said mockingly.
"Naruto" Sarada said gaining his attention "I'll handle Kushina; you fight Orochimaru" she said. Naruto nodded and focused on Orochimaru.
"I was going to kill you before" Naruto said "but now I'm going to enjoy it" he said; Naruto's eyes then became slitted and red chakra began to ooze out of him before it completed by forming into his one tail cloak. "I'll kill you; you bastard" Naruto shouted as he and Sarada rushed in to fight Orochimaru and the reanimated Kushina.
