Hello everyone I'm back once again to bring you another chapter of my story; I hope you are all enjoying it and I hope you will all keep on supporting my work. Now with nothing else to say lets begin.
Set in Stone: Chapter 34
With Naruto and Tsume: Konoha Hospital
Naruto was pacing back and forth while he and Tsume were waiting for Shizune to come back; Tsume was currently laying down on the hospital bed wearing only her bra to cover her top.
"Naruto calm down" Tsume said trying to calm her husband "I'm sure it'll be fine" she said and Naruto nodded.
"I know, I know" Naruto said "But I just hope this is it; we've been trying for over half a year already" he said before plopping down next to her and putting his hand on her belly. "I just hope that this time is it" he said with a smile "I want to rebuild my clan; yes" he said. "But I also want to start my family" he said and Tsume blushed.
Tsume then leaned in and gave him a kiss on the lips "One way or another it'll happen honey" she said with a soft smile which made Naruto smile as well. Just then Shizune walked in and both Naruto and Tsume looked at her.
"Ok you 2" Shizune said with a smile "the test came back positive; Tsume is pregnant" she said; Naruto immediately jumped up and cheered.
"Yes, yes, yes; my wife is having my baby" he cheered; he then leaned down and kissed Tsume "oh shit I'm so happy" he said as he hugged Tsume.
"Me too" Tsume said with a giant smile on her face; she then looked over to Shizune "so can we do the ultra sound" she said and Shizune nodded.
"Of course," Shizune said "lie back down and we can start" she said and Tsume nodded; Shizune then put gel on Tsume's stomach and began to rub the probe along her belly. "Ok look at the screen" she said and both Naruto and Tsume looked "and there it is" she said as she pointed at a dot on the screen.
"Holy shit" Naruto said in awe "our baby" he said holding Tsume's hand.
"And look over here" Shizune said pointing at another dot.
"Oh my god" Tsume said getting teary eyed "I'm having twins" she said as joy began to rush through her.
"Uhhh" Shizune said getting a little nervous "there is another one here" she said pointing and both Naruto and Tsume went wide eyed.
"Triplets" Tsume said horrified "triplets" she said now scared.
"And look here" Shizune said and both Naruto and Tsume paled.
"Oh god" Naruto said a it hit him like a ton of bricks.
"No wait my bad it was the first baby" she said and both Naruto and Tsume calmed down "so yeah looks like Tsume has 3 buns in the oven" she said and Tsume spoke up.
"How is this possible" Tsume said "not that I'm complaining just a little concerned" she said as she held Naruto's hand tighter.
"Well, Tsume you have to understand this is common" Shizune said "You are a woman in her late 30's; you release more eggs than younger women" she said and Tsume nodded. "But do not worry" Shizune said "you are still young and healthy and with medical staff like Tsunade, Tsubaki, Me and Hinata around you will be fine" she said.
"Well, I think this is awesome" Naruto said hugging Tsume "and hey if you think about it; we can use the kids to help train the other girls for when they want to have kids" he said and Tsume then got an evil smirk on her face.
"Yes, yes they can" she said rubbing her hands together "oh those poor girls don't know what's in store for them" she said chuckling evilly.
'Oh god' Naruto thought 'I should've kept my big mouth shut' he thought.
2 months later: Hidden rain village
"It is time for us to commence our mission" Pein said to his remaining Akatsuki members "Sasori and Deidera; go to Suna and collect the 1 tail" he said and both Sasori and Deidera nodded.
"Very well" Sasori said.
"We'll get it; mark our words" Deidera said as the 2 left the meeting.
"Hidan, Kakuzu; go to Kumo and collect the 2 tails" Pein said and the zombie duo nodded.
"Very well" Kakuzu said "maybe I can collect a few bounties on the way back" he said.
"Hey, hey" Hidan shouted "I also need to make some sacrifices to Jashin; I'm sure he'd be most displeased if I did not make a few sacrifices" he said as the 2 walked out bickering.
"Itachi, Aoi" Pein said looking at Itachi Uchiha and his new partner Aoi Rokusho wielder of the Raijin no ken sword "head to the Iwa and obtain the 4 tails" he said and both nodded.
"It will be done" Itachi said as he turned around "let's head out Aoi" he said and Aoi began to follow him.
"Huh; been partners for over 6 months and I think this is the first time you spoken more than 3 words to me in single sentence" Aoi said and Itachi did not respond. "Prick" he said as he walked out with Itachi.
As the others left leaving only Pein, Konan and Madara in the room; Madara looked over to Pein and spoke.
"We are behind schedule" Madara said "we should have started a year ago" he said and Pein responded.
"We lost Kisame and Zetsu" Pein said "we lost one of our strongest members and our spy; it took a little while longer to find the rest of the vessels but we are making progress" he said and Madara nodded.
"Very well" Madara said "just see that we do not get disrupted again" he said before vanishing in a vortex.
"I do not trust him Nagato" Konan said "he is a serpent" she said and Pein nodded.
"He is quite untrust worthy" Pein said "but rest assured; he is nothing compared to the power of the rinnegan" Pein said as he and Konan left.
However unknown to anyone there was a crow hiding in the shadows of the room; as soon as Pein and Konan left it took flight heading off to Konoha.
In Konoha
"And done" Moro said as she put her paint brush down "one fully painted baby room" she said as she looked around at the colorful room with pictures of animals and trees painted on the walls.
"Damn this place looks nice" Tsubaki said wiping off her forehead "can't believe it took us a week to do all this" she said. "Although it was mostly due to the brainiac here" she said pointing to Sarada.
"Hey what can I say" Sarada said rolling up her blue prints "I find DIY stuff fun" she said. "Although Naruto and Ichigo seem to be having fun as well" she said as all 3 girls looked out the window.
"I think they're all master pieces" Naruto said looking down.
"I agree man" Ichigo said as he looked down at the 3 handmade bassinets "who knew taking that wood shop class would pay off this much" he said and Naruto nodded.
"I wanted to make it by hand; so, it's more personal" Naruto said and Ichigo nodded "besides I only have 7 months to get everything ready; shit Hinata, Yakumo and Karin are already acting like Tsume's doula's" he said. "Shit I wouldn't be surprised if they want to have kids soon as well" Naruto said and Ichigo chuckled.
"Yeah, that's why me and Ino are careful" he said "no kids until the Akatsuki are dealt with" he said. "But I'm sure you'll do fine; you're the best guy I know" Ichigo said and Naruto smiled.
"Thanks man I appreciate it" he said.
"Kiss, kiss, kiss" Tsubaki shouted from the window before Sarada bonked her on the head.
"Way to ruin our guy bonding moment babe" Naruto said; Moro then looked at him.
"You guys bonded enough when you swapped girlfriends" Moro said and both boys crossed their arms.
"It's not our faults Ino and Karui are perverts" Naruto said with a huff.
"And it didn't help when they propositioned it when they were already naked and we were drinking earlier" Ichigo said "if anything we are the victims of their 'vagina voodoo'" he said making the other girls sweat drop.
Just then Jiraya appeared in a swirl of leaves breaking up the conversation; Naruto could tell by the look on his face it was serious.
"I just got word from Itachi" Jiraya said making Naruto and Sarada focus "the Akatsuki are on the move; all of you be at the Hokage tower in 30 minutes" he said. "Bring Hinata, Karin, Fu, Anko, Kushina and Tayuya as well" Jiraya said as he disappeared in a swirl of leaves once again.
Naruto took in a deep breath and then let it out "ok" he said looking around "lets do this" he said as he went back inside to get his gear.
30 Minutes later: Hokage tower
Naruto, Sarada, Moro, Tsubaki, Ichigo, Hinata, Karin, Fu, Anko and Tayuya were all standing in front of Tsunade, Jiraya and Hiruzen.
"The Akatsuki are on the move people; so, we have to act now" Tsunade said; Tsunade then looked over to Anko "Anko; you take Karin, Tayuya and Moro with you to Kumo" she said. "Yugito is one of their first targets; so, you better get there to protect her" Tsunade said.
Anko nodded "copy that" Anko said "you heard her let's move out" Anko said as she ran out with her the 3 girls. 'Hold on Yugito; I'm coming' she thought as she began her mission to save her lover.
"Kushina" Tsunade said getting her attention "take Naruto, Sarada and Hinata with you to Suna to stop them from getting the 1 tail" she said and Kushina nodded.
"Copy" Kushina said before turning to her team "gather up enough gear and get ready to go" Kushina said and she left with her team.
"Lastly Ichigo" Tsunade said looking at him "you take Tsubaki and Fu with you and meet up with Itachi; and also take out his partner if need be" she said and Ichigo nodded.
"Yes, lady Tsunade" Ichigo said "I'll say goodbye to Ino and then head out" he said and Tsunade nodded.
As they left Tsunade looked over to Jiraya "Once we are done with the grunts, we just have to take out the last 3" she said and Jiraya sighed.
"Of course," Jiraya said "Me, Naruto, Tsubaki, Ichigo, Fu, Gaara and Yugito" he said. "Lets just hope that it will be enough to stop Nagato and Konan" he said "Kushina, Itachi and Sarada will be handling 'Madara'" he said and Tsunade nodded.
Hiruzen sighed "if I was only 20 years younger, I'd be joining you" he said "I was past my prime 3 years ago during the invasion; but I'm glad those kids came back. It bought me more time with Konohamaru and Naruto" he said. "Now let's see if they can buy the world a little more time as well" he said as he continued to smoke his pipe.
Inuzuka compound
Tsume, Hana and Haku were going through the boxes of old baby cloths that she had saved from when Hana and Kiba were both young; she was looking to see what was still good and reusable. As she continued, she found a little blue onesie that had the words 'momma's boy' on it.
Tsume held it and let out a single tear 'damn it Kiba' Tsume thought as she held it close to her chest; she was then brought out of her thoughts by a knock at the door.
"Coming hold up" Hana said as she got up and went over to the door; she opened it and saw Naruto stranding there in full gear "Naruto; what are you doing here" she said.
"Hana, I told you; you can call me dad, daddy, or father" Naruto said and Hana crossed her arms.
"No; I won't" Hana said "you are six years younger than me; it's too weird" she said and Naruto chuckled.
"I know I just like to make it awkward for you" Naruto said and Hana huffed; Naruto then walked over to Tsume and knelt down "hey babe" Naruto said giving her a kiss.
"Hey honey; what's going on" Tsume asked.
"The Akasuki are on the move" Naruto said and Tsume nodded "I'm going out with mom and the others to stop them" he said.
"Well, I'll see you when you get back" Tsume said with a smile and Naruto smiled back.
"Not worried about your hubby" Naruto said and Tsume shook her head.
"I know you'll come back to me" Tsume said before rubbing her stomach "for all of us" she said and Naruto nodded. "Besides if you die, I'll just resurrect you and kill you again" Tsume said and Naruto chuckled.
"I expect nothing less" Naruto said before giving her a kiss "see you later Tsume" Naruto said getting up and walking out. "Bye princess" Naruto said before giving Hana a kiss on the forehead making her blush and push him off.
"Knock it off dad" Hana said before she realized what she said "shit, no, I didn't mean it like that" Hana said but it was too late as Naruto, Tsume and Haku all began to laugh. "Screw you guys" Hana said as she went back to organizing the baby cloths.
Suna
Gaara was currently with both Temari and Samui in the Kazekage office; Temari was back from Konoha to sign some documents for her upcoming marriage to Naruto. Dual citizenship was a tricky process and she wanted everything prepared for when she gets married and has kids with Naruto.
Samui was there as an envoy from Kumo; since the joint operation of Konoha, Suna and Kumo to fight against Orochimaru, Danzo and the corrupted elements of Konoha all 3 nations have been building relations steadily. Samui volunteered to be the envoy to Suna due to her relationship with Gaara; and so far the 2 monotone shinobi have been dating steadily for the past 3 years.
"And this should do it" Temari said as she finished signing her contract "now both me and any kids I have will have both Suna and Konoha citizenships" she said with a smile.
"Very good Temari" Gaara said with a small smile "so when do you intend to give me some nieces or nephews to spoil" he said and Temari blushed.
"For your information me and Naruto are waiting" Temari said crossing her arms "Tsume is only pregnant because she wants to have kids before her time is up" she said.
"Well make sure you practice a lot" Samui said making Temari blush "after all a healthy sex life will help with- "she began until Temari stopped her.
"Stop, stop; don't talk about that stuff in front of my brother" Temari whined and both looked confused.
"What is wrong with it" Samui said cocking her head to the side "talking about sexual intercourse isn't a big deal" she said and Gaara nodded.
"It is true" Gaara said "me and Samui have made love on countless occasions for both health and emotional reasons; there is no need to- "he began until Temari covered her ears.
"Stop you emotionally stunted dolts" Temari said "I swear you 2 are made for each other" she said.
"Thank you" they both said simultaneously.
"That was not a compliment" Temari shouted; just then a small toad appeared in a puff of smoke.
"Lady Temari; I have a message to you from Jiraya" the toad said handing the girl a scroll before disappearing. Temari then opened the scroll and a scowl grew across her face.
"What is it" Gaara asked and Temari looked at him.
"The Akatsuki are coming here to capture you" Temari said and both Gaara and Samui got scowls on their faces as well "Jiraya instructed that both Deidera and Sasori are coming here; and that you and me are to sit out the battle" she said and Gaara stood up.
"And why is that" Gaara asked and Temari spoke up.
"They were specifically picked because they are the best suited to countering us; Deidera is a long-range explosive fighter and Sasori has more experience fighting Suna shinobi like me" Temari said before looking at Samui. "They wish for you to help as Deidera's jutsu are all earth based and you have a lightning affinity" she said and Samui nodded.
"Very well I will help" Samui said and turned to a worried looking Gaara "I will be fine" she said. "Who is coming to assist us" Samui asked and Temari read the scroll.
"Naruto, his mom, Sarada and Hinata as a medic" Temari said and Samui nodded.
"It will most likely be me and Naruto vs Deidera and Kushina and Sarada fighting Sasori with Hinata staying back as back up for any casualties" Samui said and Gaara nodded.
"It is the most logical" Gaara said "very well me and Temari will stay out of the fight; but if it starts to turn in the Akatsuki's favor we will jump in along with Kankuro" he said and both girls nodded. "How long do we have" he asked.
"The Akasuki arrive in 6 days; Naruto and the team will be here in 3" Temari said "I think it would be best to find a spot to fight; no need to turn the village into a battlefield again after the last war" she said and Gaara nodded.
"Very well" Gaara said pulling out a map and opening it on his desk "lets see where the most advantageous spot will be" he said.
7 days later
"Holy shit" Deidera whined "why the hell did this asshole have to take vacation now of all times" he said. "I mean seriously what kind of Kage takes vacation" he said and Sasori looked at Deidera with a glare.
"My spy's information is accurate Deidera" Sasori said annoyed "he left 3 days ago and is staying at the location described; we already wasted a day walking here, so stop your damn whining and focus on the job" he said and Deidera flipped him off.
"Fuck off Sasori" Deidera said "damn heat, damn desert, damn country" he grumbled; after a few more minutes of walking both Sasori and Deidera arrived at their destination. "Well at least he had sense to pick this place" Deidera said.
There was an Oasis the size of a medium size lake with some vegetation around it; there was also a large number of small abandoned shacks on the northern point of the oasis.
"He must be staying there; why was this place abandoned again" Deidera said and Sasori answered.
"This is the original Sunagakure" Sasori said "this place was where all residents of Suna lived until a larger oasis was found; the new Sunagakure is more advantageous as the Oasis there is 5 times as large and there are natural cliffs surrounding it for defense" he said. "This place is only used now for vacations and wary travelers; this is the last stop before you reach the Iwa border 60 miles away" Sasori said as he began to walk down "now hurry up; lets capture the vessel and leave" he said and Deidera nodded.
As they walked towards the abandoned village Deidera began to have a bad feeling 'something isn't right here' Deidera thought 'why would a kage choose this location; if he wanted to stay somewhere, why would he- "Deidera began until he stopped.
Sasori stopped and looked at him "What is it now" Sasori asked.
"It's a trap" Deidera shouted; just then chakra chains sprouted out of the ground and went towards both Akatsuki members splitting them up. Kushina then came out of the sand and took out her sword.
"Now" she shouted and everyone came out of their hiding spots; Naruto and Samui jumped out of the water and began to attack Deidera with shuriken and kunai.
"Fuck" Deidera shouted as he retreated throwing several clay bug bombs at the 2 pursuing blondes.
"Samui would you kindly" Naruto said and Samui nodded.
"With pleasure" Samui said as she took out her tanto and charged it with lightning chakra; she then sliced up the bug bombs deactivating them.
"You are so cool" Naruto said and Samui smiled.
"Thank you" Samui said flattered "now let's end this mad bomber" she said with a scowl on her face. "No one threatens my Gaara and lives" she said and Naruto chuckled.
'Just like Tsume' Naruto thought as both he and Samui charged Deidera.
With Kushina and Sarada
Kushina and Sarada both standing side by side stared down Sasori.
"How interesting" Sasori said operating his giant puppet "you knew we were coming; how did you know" he said and received no response from the 2 women. "Hmmm a spy from within probably… Itachi" he said and Sarada activated her sharingan "look like I hit the mark" he said.
"Doesn't matter dude" Kushina said cracking her neck "you will die here; and I'll make sure I smash everyone of your puppets" she said and Sasori laughed as he threw of the Akatsuki cloak covering his puppet.
"I expect nothing less from you; Kushina Uzumaki" Sasori said "I don't know how you are alive, but I will love adding you to my collection" he said and Sarada smirked.
"So not all of your puppets are for battle huh" Sarada said and Sasori chuckled.
"And I'll enjoy taking those cursed eyes out of your skull" Sasori said as he got ready for battle.
