Luke woke up in the morning on the day before Thanksgiving. Today was his wedding day.
"I'm getting married today…." Luke says
He woke up as he was in the castle. There would be a big breakfast and everyone would attend, minus the Cosmic buddies.
Bowser was back at it and captured some Toads, so Mario and Peach needed their help. If there was time, they'd come to the wedding.
Luke giggled as Luna wrapped him in a bear hug. Luke then smiled up at her.
"I missed you a lot…" Luna says.
Luke goes to breakfast. There was a big breakfast, all of Luke's favorite breakfast foods.
Everyone was there. "Happy wedding day, Luke!" They all say.
Luke couldn't believe his eyes. He saw everyone sitting around the table as they smiled at him.
He joined them as everyone began to eat.
The cups saw Chalice was still snoring away in her golden yellow canopy bed.
"Wakey-wakey, Chalice!" Cuphead says.
"Come on, bride-to-be….time to greet your adoring public!" Mugman says.
Chalice groans and gets up.
(Don't worry, we're not turning Chalice into a female version of Luke.)
"What do ya ding-dongs want?" Chalice asked.
"It's your wedding day!" Cuphead says.
"Yeah, yeah…but why are you in my room?" Chalice asked.
"To wake you up." Cuphead says.
"I'm awake now. Let me get ready, all right?" Chalice soon goes off to get ready.
In the castle, Luke was hissing at the RSVP's for the wedding ceremony.
"I can't believe it! No one loves Luke!" Luke sobbed as Luna came into his room.
"Luke….why are tears staining your handsome face?" Luna asked.
"Maybe I should just call it off, Luna…." Luke says sadly.
"It doesn't matter about the guests, Lukey. What matters is that you and Chalice are both there." Luna says.
"I thought this was a happy day!" Luke cried.
"Of course it is." Luna says.
Meanwhile, Chalice was getting ready for the wedding. She had her white dress with the gold edges on it and her gold-colored shoes. She even had her four things. Something old, one of Kettle's war medals, which was on her bouquet holder. Something new, a pearl necklace and diamond earrings from Luke. Something borrowed, Charity's Pandora charm bracelet from her wedding. And something blue, a blue bow from Mugman, which was on the front of her dress.
"You look wonderful." Charity tells Chalice.
"Absolutely stunning!" Cuphead says.
"Luke will be awestruck by you." Mugman says.
"Thanks…" Chalice says.
"So, who's gonna walk you down the aisle?" Charity asked.
She thinks about it for a minute. Then she realizes who it should be. She chose Luna.
"Why her?" Charity says. "She's part of my family. And she's already Luke's groom's woman. He chose her to be at his side of the wedding party this summer. She said she would and was already on Luke's side from the beginning."
Chalice realized that and almost forgot about it until now.
"Guess you'll have to pick someone else." Cuphead says.
She chose Elder Kettle, who entered the room, smiling.
"You look like an angel, Chalice." He says with a smile.
"Thank you." Chalice says.
Soon, the ceremony began and Luke was smiling the whole time. This was indeed one happy day for him.
"You may now kiss the bride." The priest says as Luke and Chalice kiss. Everyone cheered.
Soon they arrived at the reception area as there were decorations and food with drinks and gifts with a nice cake.
Luke smiled and soon danced with his new wife.
People cheer as they dance like pros. They then share their first dance as husband and wife, dancing to "Your Song Saved My Life" by U2.
Leni records this.
Luke is soon sitting by himself for a bit, just to get some alone time. Chalice was spending time with the cup brothers, so she didn't mind Luke going off to be alone.
Cuphead was telling jokes as Chalice was laughing.
Luke was thinking about some stuff like his 19th birthday next month and tomorrow's parade. He and Chalice wouldn't go on their honeymoon until after Thanksgiving.
"I want everything to be perfect this year." he says. "Turning 19 is a big deal…"
Soon it was gift time. Cuphead gave Chalice his gift, which was a revealing French maid outfit. Chalice giggled at this.
Lucy goes outside. There was no way she could give Luke a perfect birthday; he never even had faith in her plus something always made her feel horrible. She remembers his past birthdays and frowned.
Lucy just leaves, crying as she goes to plan his two birthdays.
Lori got Luke a new microphone and Lisa built Luke a stage.
Chalice puts on her new shoes.
Lucy sighed as she looked depressed while planning.
Later they watched a highlight wheel as everyone laughed. Then Luan told jokes as people smiled and laughed.
Soon, They bring out two pinatas.
Luke and Chalice smiled and hit the pinatas, breaking them both.
Kettle smiled, happy for his daughter.
Soon, they had the soda challenge as everyone cheered for Chalice. After that, the lights turn off.
Luke was crying as he was thinking everyone ditched. When the lights came on, it revealed an epic 7-tiered cake that said "Congratulations to our new wedded couple, Luke Huntington and Mrs. Chalice!" and everyone was there.
"Awww…." Chalice says as everyone begins to sing to the happy couple. Cuphead had lit sparklers on the cake, much to Chalice's delight.
She wished for Luke to have a perfect 19th birthday, while Luke wished to win next season and for a happy marriage.
Luke and Chalice danced after eating some of their cake.
