It was Skylia's birthday as Angry Luigi and Alem tuber were decorating.
Luke just stares at the wall in his hotel room.
The siblings pitied him.
"Poor Luke…" Leni says.
"Okay, any idea to get the fans' attention? And why is Luke so famous?" Alem tuber says.
"Because of his career?" Alex asked.
"I got it! Tonight, we're heading off to find Begmax and turn him in and get it on camera.'' Alem tuber says.
The siblings took him to the mall as Oliver walks with him. He could see Luke was upset. He knows he will lose.
"You won't lose." Lucy says.
"Luke, you're going to win." Garrett says.
"Yeah, we have faith in you! Even if the Chipmunks and Chipettes are back, you can still win." Leni says.
Luke feels like quitting. He knows everyone else is better than him and they want him out of the picture.
"You can't quit, Luke…Please, Chalice needs you." Luna says.
Meanwhile, Angry Luigi was charging up lightning. "Okay, time for an elemental hurricane!" Angry Luigi says as he shocked himself.
"Ow!" he says.
"Only Luke can do that." Bill says.
"Yeah, but if I have the same cube energy as Luke, then I may just have a chance." Angry Luigi says.
"You think you, Luke and Chalice can win?" Savannah asked.
"No, I'm just a burden and like usual, everyone is out to get me." Angry Luigi says.
Amber came. "Guys, Drella just kidnapped Aunt Skylia." She says.
"What?!" Angry Luigi says, panicking.
"I'll save her!" Alem tuber says.
"Drella took her to the witches' realm." Amber says.
"The witches' realm? Dang it! I can't even get there." Alem tuber says.
"How am I supposed to beat Drella without my Elemental Storm or Elemental Hurricane? Luke never taught me." Angry Luigi says.
"Well, sometimes you need motivation." Amber says and took Angry Luigi to find Emila.
"Delta, Emila, we need to save my aunt from Drella" Amber says
"Okay." Emila says as Delta teleports them.
Meanwhile, Garrett comforts Luke as they sit at the lunch table.
"I'm not popular anymore!" Luke sobbed.
"Of course you are." Lucy says.
"Who said that?" Luna asked him.
"Look, you are popular. You have a mega fandom." Lori says.
"It's Brandy. People don't like the Cosmic buddies too much." Lisa says.
Meanwhile, Drella was relaxing with the chain of immortality as Delta came in and tries kicking Drella, who dodged.
"Nice to meet you." Drella says.
"Yeah, we've met." Delta says and tries using energy knives. Drella used magic on her.
"Time for an Elemental Hurricane!" Angry Luigi says, having never used it.
His body lit up with sparks, but it exploded on himself.
"Ha, fool, you're weak!" Drella says as Delta kicks her, but no damage is done.
Angry Luigi runs off, scared.
Delta tries hitting Drella, who dodges.
Emila and Amber shot flames and magic as Drella dodged.
"Brandy, save me!" Skylia says.
Angry Luigi began using a spin jump and headed towards Drella as she dodged. The spin jump became electric with small flames as the necklace was cut off. Drella was sent down as Angry Luigi was dizzy and tired.
"You do have his DNA, but how? No matter." Drella says as Emila freed Skylia.
"Oh, right. I'm leaving." Drella says and retreats.
Later, the party began, but Luke was at home.
"Awww, thanks, kids." Skylia says.
"You actually have elemental powers?" Bill asked as Angry Luigi shrugged.
"I'll stick to what I know." Angry Luigi says, but sighed, thinking he'll lose.
Luke just looked at the scoreboard. He was in first, but he questioned this, like how long would he be in first place? Why are so many people better than I am? Are they going to mock my autism? He had all these questions swirling around in his mind.
Luna could see Luke was feeling unconfident and knew he was lost in his thoughts.
"Hey, it's okay." Luna says.
"I just…I just…" Luke sniffed.
Luna holds him.
Meanwhile, Skylia was tired during the party and sat down. "Parenting can be hard." she admitted.
Soon, Angry Luigi shows Skylia funny moments in the family as Skylia smiled.
The next day everyone packed ready for the next stop in the tour, which would be in Miami. Luke was excited. Angry Luigi sighed as they were heading there.
"You gotta be more confident, Munchkin." Luna says.
Luke hissed and looked away.
"Honey…" Charity says to Luke worried
Luke hissed and laid on Charity's shoulder.
"Luke, are you okay?" Lucy asked, worried.
Luke shook his head. "Poor Luke…" Leni says.
They soon arrive.
"Tonight we gotta get in 1st…" Alex says.
"Yeah, and by that, you mean showing everyone a highlight reel of some of our heroic moments when we were 3?" Alem tuber asked as Alex nodded.
"Yeah, that's what I'm talking about." Reilly says.
With the triplets.
"Okay, good job, guys. Those cosmic buddies are in 4th. Good riddance." Trey says.
"But Oliver, Luke, and the cups are ahead!" Tristan says.
"Time to double our efforts." Troy says.
"What we need is new tricks." Cuphead says.
Oliver nodded.
Angry Luigi hears everyone talking and grows paranoid. Was he good enough? Would he cause his team to fail? His body began to glitch.
Luke began to scream. The siblings and Chalice came in. "Luke, what's wrong?" Chalice asked worriedly.
Luke explained as everyone felt sad for him.
"Bro, someone is out to get us…." Angry Luigi says nervously.
"Nice, I've been looking for a fight." Alem tuber says. Angry Luigi glitched again.
"Oh, no…Brandy, calm down." Skylia says as she looks for Luke.
"Hi, Luke, how are you feeling?" Skylia asked. Luke sniffed.
"He's upset." Lucy says.
"I'm SCARED! They'll laugh and tease and poke fun at me because of my autism!" Luke cried.
"No one is out to get you or laugh at you…your autism is special." Skylia says.
"People say I'm not capable or confident or anything!" Luke says, sniffing. "I'm scared. I'm afraid. I'm very upset…."
"They were talking about my son, not you." Skylia says. "They think you're some grand legend."
Luke shivers as he repeated the hurtful words in his head.
"I don't think he actually listened. He's still saying the hurtful words. This is Luan's fault." Lisa says, using teleplay.
"Not capable. Not good enough. Moron. Stupid. Can't sing or dance. A guy like you will never win." Luke repeats in his mind.
"Luke, you can do this." Lisa says.
"You're good!" Luna says.
"You can sing and dance!" Leni says.
Luke looked up and sniffed.
"We have faith in you. You're better than everyone." Lucy says.
"We love you, honey. You have something the others don't." Charity says.
"What does he have?" Leni asked, curious.
"He has a unique brand of star power that only he can bring to the table." Charity says.
"So, you're saying he's basically the best at what he does best?" Leni asked.
"Yes. Luke is the brightest star on the stage and shines brighter than anyone else there." Charity says.
"You heard that, Luke. You're better than all those losers." Stephen says.
Luke smiles at this and group hugs his siblings and friends.
"Get this through your tiny head, Alem tuber, the cosmic buddies are a joke. Luke's good, really good, but you? Not so much." Trey says.
"Wanna bet?" Alem tuber says as Mike gives Angry Luigi a wedgie and leaves.
Soon the show was beginning. April and Gemma came on stage as April smiled.
"Welcome to the Miami Beach Bandshell, the site for our second episode of season 9! Tonight, our teams have put together a show full of passion and full of expression!" April says.
"That's because tonight's theme is A Flair For The Dramatic. All of our teams were asked to put together a song-and-dance performance to a song worth acting out to. Tonight is also our first TRIPLE ELIMINATION show of Season 9, to announce our top 35 teams." Gemma says.
"Coming up first is the legendary Chipmunks!" Gemma says.
The Chipmunks came on stage as people cheered. They soon began to perform their version of "Bad Day" as the crowd was in awe.
When they finished, the crowd cheered.
Oliver and the cups had an interview.
"Oliver, Cuphead, Mugman, how are you feeling?" April asked.
"Confident. We're going to win." Cuphead says.
"That's nice. Oliver, what are your plans after this?" April asked.
"Focusing on university and other stuff." Oliver says.
"Coming up next is the Chipettes!" Gemma says. Fans cheered as they came on.
They did a performance of "Survivor" on a deserted island-themed set.
Everyone cheered and clapped. They smirked as they soon finished.
"Okay, you're going to be next, we believe in you!" Savannah says to Luke and Brandy.
Jason had a smile with his arms crossed.
"Coming up next, the moment you've all waited for! The main reason you're all here! Presenting the true stars of the show, Luke and Mrs. Chalice!" Gemma said as the whole crowd cheered wildly.
The group came up, Luke and Chalice grinning wildly and dressed as chefs. Brandy was close behind them.
Everyone watched this. They performed a "someone's in the kitchen"-themed skit with the "Best Served Cold" song by JT Music.
Angry Luigi imitated JT Music's voice perfectly. Luke and Chalice stay in sync through their entire skit performance.
The crowd was going wild for this and gave the entire group a standing ovation when it ended. The judges gave this performance the platinum button.
"Luke and Chalice!" People chant as the crowd goes wild.
The group soon appeared backstage.
"You killed it out there!" Cuphead says.
"You are the best, truly!" Leni says. Luke was practically beaming.
"You're number 1 for life!" Garrett says.
"You all did great!" Charity says.
"Even me?" Brandy asked his mother.
"No, bro, Luke and Chalice did great. You are just there. Heck, they don't even know your name. Come on, guys, we're main eventing tonight. Oh, after this, there's a Mamai food contest." Alem tuber says as Brandy looked down, seeing Luke get approval from his siblings, but he never got that love.
"Coming up next is The Trillion Triplets!" Gemma says as they come out as people cheer for them.
They do their performance of "The Other Side" from The Greatest Showman.
People cheered for them as they performed.
Oliver looked annoyed.
When they finished, they headed backstage.
"Luke's good, but this is our year and it's an honor to compete with great performers like Luke and Chalice." Trey says.
"Coming up next is the trio of Cuphead, Mugman, and Oliver Fox!" Gemma says.
They came up as people cheered. They soon perform their version of "Old Town Road" by Lil Nas X ft. Billy Ray Cyrus on a Wild West-themed set.
People cheer as Cuphead even used his finger gun as the crowd cheered.
The fans cheered when they finish.
"Nice job, Oliver." Leni says.
"Thanks." Oliver says.
"Coming up next is the self proclaimed future champions, the heroic team of the Cosmic buddies!" Gemma says as fireworks shot up as the screen show Cosmic buddies with flames.
Alem tuber, Alex and Jack use a surfboard entrance. People cheered as Jack flipped his board up.
Angry luigi looked down, feeling inferior like always, but stayed and watched.
"Hello, Miami, how's it going tonight is going to be a blast so peel your eyes!" Alem tuber says as they begin to perform their beach-themed skit to "Miami" by Will Smith.
At the end, Jack gave out free toys to the crowd.
"Vote for your champions and get a toy! Thank you and thank you!" Jack says.
"I think people are appreciating us again. Oh, everyone, one last thing." Alem tuber says and shows everyone a clip.
A 3 year old Alem tuber looked down with his pals as they poured oil on the road as the robbers slipped on the oil and tripped.
"That was our very first heroic act." Alem tuber says
"Nice job!" Lynn says.
"Luke, you're a star!" One fan says.
"Can I get your autograph?" Meli asked.
Luke nodded and signed autographs before walking off.
"Luke, you wanna get hot chocolate?" Lincoln asked.
Luke walked to the local Baskin Robbins and got his usual order. He then ate as he looked down at the counter.
Oliver and the cups was in 1st. The cosmic buddies was in 2nd.
"You can still catch up… remember, you have that unique thing." Garrett says.
Luke just left the ice cream shop, discouraged.
"Nice, we're in the lead!" Cuphead bragged as Alem tuber was fuming in anger.
Luke just started to feel more and more discouraged as he walked off. He felt like he would never be good enough for the stage, no matter what he did.
The siblings tried to comfort him.
"I should just quit trying." Luke says sadly. "I'm always going to be outdone."
"But, Luke, you've been in this situation before and you always win in the end." Lori says.
"It's different this time." Luke says.
"How is it different?" Lori asked.
"Oliver's probably bragging and Luan's supporting him." Lucy says.
"Luke can do anything, plus he has Munchkin on his side." Luna says.
"Gemma doesn't even know Brandy's name. He's a joke. Luke's better off without him." Lynn says.
Luke just covers his face with his hands. "I'll never win. Let those braggarts win. I'm just gonna set fire to my chef costume, because apparently it wasn't good enough!" Luke says, taking the costume and storming off.
Lisa used telekinesis, stopping him. "It was good enough, Luke. You can't just expect everyone to just always choose you. It's harsh, but that's how life goes. Everyone deserves an opinion. We want you to win, but sometimes, people are jerks." Lisa says.
Luke tunes it out and breaks free. He just wanted to be alone.
Lisa tells Charity.
Charity finds Luke on the beach with his chef costume. Luke started to tear it apart.
"Luke, no, honey…" Charity says, stopping him.
"I WILL NEVER BE GOOD ENOUGH!" Luke shouted. He takes the costume back from Charity.
Lucy watched from afar. She knew Luke would not listen to them at all and called Chalice over.
Chalice gasped at the sight of Luke. He was a mess. Luke burned the chef costume and sobbed angrily.
Chalice tried to comfort him, but Luke would not listen to anyone right now.
