The siblings squealed when The Elemental Strike's acapella album came out. They even listened to it.
Lucy planned something special for Luke, Oliver, and the cups.
The five of them are at a photo shoot and an interview at Melody Mania magazine.
"Congratulations on your 1st acapella album!" The magazine editor says to Luke, Oliver, and the cup trio. "What did you name it?"
Luke thinks. "We Got Your Attention- The Elemental Acapella Album." He says.
"That's quite the name!" The editor says. "So, what's next for the Elemental Strike?"
They shrugged. "We're not sure yet. Luke and I plan on winning America's Next Hitmaker." Chalice says.
They arrived at a nice restaurant as confetti rained down on them.
"Golly! What's this?" Chalice says.
"Congratulations, Elemental Strike!" Everyone says to Luke, Oliver, and the cup trio.
The five of them were very surprised to see a party in honor of them and their first acapella album.
"It's not too big. I'm sorry. I was planning Luke's bigger events." Lucy says. The group frowned a little.
"But, I did plan activities." Lucy says and reveals a parade float. They were intrigued by this. She got them sashes as the group looked at them.
"I don't know what to say." Mugman says. Luke hissed at his sash and so did Oliver. Cuphead and Chalice exchanged looks.
"Go enjoy your parade, this is your day." Lucy says.
The 5 of them nod, smiling as they go on the parade float. This was on TV.
People took pictures of them and cheered.
After that, they come back in. There were balloons, and there were banners and streamers. There were even some gifts from their fans. They looked surprised by this.
"Oh, you are too kind!" Mugman says.
"Awesome!" Oliver says.
"I'll say!" Luke says.
Chalice opened her gift from Charity. It was a golden Versace dress for the semifinals.
Luke opens Charity's gift for him, which was a silver Tiffany men's watch. He beamed at this.
"Thank you!" Luke says.
"Only the best for you, my sweet, sweet treasure." Charity says, smiling.
Oliver opened Gabriel's gift. He held the emerald green music note charm necklace from the Pandora store in his hands and smiled at it before wearing it.
The cup brothers feel left out. Margo and Lucy had gifts for them.
Lucy read Cuphead a poem. He smiled and clapped for Lucy.
Mugman opens the gift and sees classical music songbooks. "For your new piano." Margo says, smiling. Mugman kisses Margo.
Lucy read Luke a poem and Luke smiled.
After the gifts, Luan was telling jokes for the five of them. Then she told a joke about Dirk Dangerous and Cuphead stared at her for a long time.
"No. Just no. Only I tell his jokes." Cuphead says.
Then Lola does her performance as they smile. After that, they played with Stephen, Lonnie, and Jason.
They play tag as Jason was it.
Then it was piñata time. There were 5 piñatas that looked like music notes.
The Elemental Strike was given their nine-irons and they struck away. Candy fell out of them as Lucy smiled.
The boys took their shares and the cup trio ate half of their shares.
Luke shows the band's highlight reel as everyone smiles.
Cuphead and Mugman did some tricks on stage.
"Can you perform again?" Garrett asked.
"Perform what?" Oliver asked.
"Songs from your album." Garrett says.
Luke smiled. "Cuppy, Mugsy, Ollie, Chally! Let's get our performance outfits on!" He says.
They go to get changed. Minutes later, they came out dressed up and ready to perform. They begin to sing "Come Go With Me" from their album.
Everyone cheered as they sang. Then they sang "For The Longest Time". Girls went wild.
They finished to wild cheers.
"I wonder what's next." Luke says.
The Soda Challenge begins as Luke smiles while drinking 4 L of soda.
Cuphead drank his in 2 seconds.
After a while, they used the bathroom and then played board games when the lights turned off.
Luke looked around as the lights lit up revealing 5 cakes.
"Whoa! No way!" Cuphead says as they say "Congratulations Elemental Strike On Your First Acapella Album!"
It was the same for each, but Cuphead had red velvet Mugman and Luke had Blue velvet. Oliver had chocolate and Chalice had golden vanilla.
There was 19 candles for Luke and Oliver and 20 candles for Chalice then there was 17 for Cuphead and Mugman.
Leni lit them as everyone sang a song. No
Luke wished he could win this year.
The cups and Oliver wished for Luke to be happier; he really needed this win.
The next day, Lola was heading for a pageant. Luke didn't feel up to going. Lola heads out.
Once she was gone, Luke got a call on his phone.
Luke answered it. "Hello?" Luke asked.
"Is this Luke Huntington of The Elemental Strike?" A voice on the other end asked.
"Yes, it is. How can I help you?" Luke says.
"This is Maxwell Davenport of Davenport's Department Store in Brighton, Indiana. And I was wondering, do you perform at parties?" Maxwell asked.
"Yes, we do." Luke says.
"My daughter's Sweet 16 is in a few weeks and I saw the video of your performance from the Fairway University Spring Talent Show. You are all just wonderful! Would you be interested in performing at my daughter's party?" Maxwell asked. "I would pay you handsomely and even in advance, if that's okay."
"Yes!" Luke says. "What is your daughter's name?"
"Andrea. She is a huge fan of your work. And I want this to be a surprise for her. So, you know how to surprise your fans, right?" Maxwell asked.
"Sure do!" Luke says. "We've done that lots of times."
Luke tells his Bandmates.
"We're performing for the Andrea Davenport?!" Chalice says.
Luke nods. "More time away from my siblings is a win for me." he says.
Lola was dressing up for her pageant performance. "Lola, we need to go, Luke's got a big opportunity and we need to celebrate with him." Lucy says.
"Honey….it's just a high-paying gig. Nothing to be super excited over." Charity says.
"It's important to Luke." Lucy says.
"You're doing it again…" Lola says.
"Sweetheart, let him celebrate that with his bandmates." Charity says.
Lucy walked away.
Soon, Lola won her 900th pageant.
"This is a big milestone." Lola says.
"It sure is! And we're celebrating at your favorite restaurant!" Charity says.
They soon head over. Lola texted Luke so he doesn't feel left out.
Luke arrived with Oliver and Chalice.
"Hey, Luke we heard you have a epic grand gig." Lola says
"Yep. In Brighton, Indiana. For Andrea Davenport's Sweet 16." Luke says.
"We should celebrate it." Lucy says.
"Lucy, not everything's a cause for an epic and grand celebration." Chalice says.
"Luke deserves an epic party." Lucy says.
"I think your obsession over Luke's celebrations is a bit much. You're going to creep Luke out." Oliver says. Luke runs away to a corner and hyperventilates, on the verge of a meltdown.
"Luke, Luke!" Lucy says and gives him his polar bear plushie to calm him down. Luke rocks as he holds it.
"It's okay, Luke. It's just me." Lucy says, rubbing his back and starting to feel guilty.
Luke holds his polar bear and hisses calmly.
"Hey, that girl just hurt Luke!" a guy says as Lucy froze.
"I-I didn't mean to." Lucy stammered as people tossed food at Lucy, who ran out. Luke was having a meltdown among all the chaos.
Charity holds Luke. Luke was holding his ears with his polar bear.
"Lola, I'm sorry, but we have to go." Charity says, taking them home. Lola pouted, but knew Luke's autism was a serious thing that the family needed to learn to live with.
Lucy ran past Lori and Leni and slammed her door.
"Lucy?" Leni asked.
Later, when Luke tried to check on her, Lucy accidentally slammed the door on his hand. Luke wailed like a siren.
"Lucy!" Lola yelled as Lucy was shivering in fear. She wanted to go to Haiku's house. or anywhere.
"Luke's hand hurts!" Luke sobbed as he told Leni. Leni healed his hand and hugged Luke, who whimpered.
Lucy slipped by unnoticed and went to Haiku's house.
"I screwed up. The family hates me for what I did." Lucy says.
"What did you do?" Haiku asked.
"I scared Luke, then slammed the door on his hand." Lucy says.
"Why did you scare him?" Haiku asked.
"I just got obsessed with his events. It's the only thing Luke needs me for." Lucy says.
"Maybe you could try to be his sibling." Haiku says. "He doesn't have to celebrate everything he does."
Lucy looked down. "It's too late. I'm going to be executed!" Lucy sobbed.
"Not if you study autism and know how he works." Haiku says.
"Sniff." Lucy sniffed, looking down.
The next week was Andrea Davenport's Sweet 16. Maxwell comes into her room.
"Wake up, Andrea, dear. Today is your birthday! And it's a big birthday!" He says cheerfully.
Andrea smiled.
"Thanks, dad." she says.
"You're welcome." He says.
Andrea eats her birthday breakfast and got birthday texts from Molly and Libby. She smiled and replied to them. She couldn't wait for her birthday party later.
With Luke, Oliver, and the cups, they were doing a final practice before heading to Indiana.
"Can you believe we're the only thing people talk about these days? Among other things, of course." Cuphead says.
"I believe it." Mugman says.
"Same here." Luke, Oliver, and Chalice say.
"So, are we gonna do a concert in Inkwell soon?" Cuphead asked. "Other than the ANH semifinals?"
"Of course." Luke says.
Luke and the others arrive a few hours later.
Andrea gasped seeing them as the party started earlier.
"Luke?" Molly and Libby asked.
"Molly! Libby! Hi!" Luke says. "How have you two been?"
"Good! Phew, I thought he'd be mad." Molly thought in her head.
"What brings you here?" Libby asked.
"They're here to perform for me…I hope." Andrea says.
"Oh, don't worry. We just have to set up." Luke says. "We'll be ready in 5 minutes. It doesn't take us long to get ready."
They set up as Amber helped them.
Soon, The Elemental Strike takes the stage.
"Before we begin, we'd like to wish Miss Andrea Davenport a very happy 16th birthday!" Luke says as the rest of the group cheers for her. Andrea smiles as the group soon begins their performance.
They perform several songs off of their acapella album, then they go into "Don't Walk Away" and then they perform their new song "Parents Don't Understand".
Molly and Libby smile at Luke as he performs with his brother, wife, and friends.
Andrea was blown away.
Luke and Oliver winked at her, smiling as they then performed "Let's Go Crazy", getting Andrea and the party guests excited. They were literally getting a preview of a new song that was getting a video made for it in a few weeks' time.
Luna was thinking of her band and started writing a song for the Moon Goats.
Soon, they finished as Andrea and everyone clapped.
Soon it was pinata time as Molly brought out a pastel unicorn piñata. Andrea smiled at this.
"Here." Libby says, giving Andrea a piñata stick.
Andrea smirked and hit the piñata, breaking it and watching all the candy fall out of it.
After that, everyone was eating and catching up, talking about different things like university life, ANH, and Mugman's wedding that would take place in the spring.
After a while, Savannah came with the pastel purple, pink, and blue cake with Andrea's name on it in purple icing and it had 16 pastel blue candles on it. Andrea gasped at the sight of it and smiled as The Elemental Strike led off the birthday song.
Andrea smiled and wished for Luke to win, as she knew he really needed it. She then blew out all the candles and gave the group of five the first few pieces of her cake with some lime sherbet on the side.
Molly couldn't help but smile when she saw her crush looking at her from the corner.
"Go talk to him." Libby says. Molly walked over to Oliver Chen, who was getting himself some cake.
"Uh….hi, Ollie…." Molly blushed and looked down.
"Oh, hi." He says.
"I thought vegans didn't eat cake…." Molly says.
Everyone watched this play out.
"Okay, tomorrow we record our new song." Mazzy said.
Luke, Oliver, and Chalice sat away from the cup brothers, talking about their anniversary that would take place on Halloween. Chalice grinned as she had quite the idea.
