Saying this Pankaj rushed out to call the doctor after informing the staff nurse attending an OP patient to look at Abhijeet till his arrival...
Abhijeet didn't respond again...he didn't even notice Pankaj's departure...
He was trying a lot to figure out the dream...but he couldn't remember anything...
Instead he started to feel the rise in the headache with the same blurring out of vision...
He closed his eyes tightly for once and then opened it...
Yes...now his vision is a little better...but the headache was the same...
Even the pain he was feeling in the abdomen and the back of the head was still the same...
Abhijeet while trying to cope up with the pain and irregular breath started to look around...
His eyes fell on the medium sized visitor window sealed with transparent glass in front of him through which he could see the lobby of the hospital...
Even though it has a curtain it was only partially covered...so he could see some extent of the lobby...
Suddenly He noticed the TV which was hanging in the lobby of the hospital outside the ICU while a NEWS was playing in it...
Yes...it was fixed in such an area which was clearly visible inside the ICU too...but the person inside the ICU could only see it...they couldn't hear the sound of it...
Abhijeet was about to shift his gaze to the other side but stopped noticing something on the TV...
He refixed his gaze towards the TV to reassure what he saw...
Yes...he saw Vikram's photograph...
Wait...wait...wait...he could see his own photograph too...
Abhijeet frowned a bit in tension seeing the photographs...
He could even see some words moving below their photographs which he couldn't see clearly because of the blurring of vision...
He closed and opened his eyes alternatively in frustration to gain better vision...
After lots of struggle he gained a better vision...
He relocated the vision towards TV and tried to read the content moving below their photograph...
But upon reading the content his eyes widened in shock...
It was given as...
" Famous Scientist Vikram kumar was brutally murdered...Senior Inspector Abhijeet was found in the crime spot severely injured...CID was investigating the case furiously..."
Abhijeet felt like his breath stopped for a second reading that...
He got up as a reflex ignoring the immense pain and started to read the content again and again while jerking his head to gain better vision...
All the time he could read the same...
Abhijeet became frozen in shock for a second...
Vikram...their best friend...was dead...
No...Never...it couldn't be...

He also started to get some unclear flashes of something dreadful...but he couldn't see anything clearly...
He held his head more and more tight as the flashes were cluttering his brain hard...
He started to jerk his head hard as he couldn't tolerate the pain...
He felt like his head burst out of pain seeing the unclear flashes...

Suddenly he remembered some words of the NEWS he read a few seconds before...
Abhijeet (in realizing tone): Bu..rea...u...Ha..an...muj...he...Bu..re...au..jaa..ke...de..kh...naa...ho...ga..
Saying this he first removed the oxygen mask ignoring his breathing difficulties because of which he has to take a deep painful breath...
He felt a sharp pain in the abdomen with that...
He closed his eyes in pain and held his abdomen as a reflex...
But soon while trying to manage his irregular breaths...he removed the drip needle attached to his hand harshly as he was not in the mood to listen to his body now...
He then tried to get down from the bed but he couldn't...
He felt unbearable pain in his abdomen and head...
He couldn't breathe properly...his breath turned so irregular...
He could also feel increasing dizziness and blurring of vision...
He jerked his head harshly and got down from the bed forcefully while holding his abdomen...
He somehow stood up while still struggling to breathe...
He tried to take one step...but he couldn't do that...
His legs were trembling badly because of the weakness and injury in the abdomen and head...
Due to the sudden movements...his stitches too get affected and because of which the injuries started to bleed again...
Abhijeet's vision blanked out for a second and he was about to fall backward but he held the nearby table and somehow balanced himself...
His body already started to give up but his mind was not in the mood to give up...
It was only filled with the news he read about Vikram...
He has to know whether it is true or not...
He while ignoring everything happening with him took a step forward in determination...
Yes...the determination...to know about Vikram...it gave him an unknown strength all of sudden...
He started to move out of the ICU with shaggy steps while holding the wall with one hand and abdomen with another...
The staff nurse to whom Pankaj asked to look at Abhijeet noticed him coming out of the ICU in shaggy steps while holding his abdomen...
She became shocked seeing his condition and rushed towards him with...
The nurse (in tension): my god...sir yeh aap kya kar rahe hai...kahan jaa rahe hai iss halat mai..
Abhijeet (while breathing heavily): mu..jhe...jaa...ne...di..ji..ye...pl..ea...se...I...ha...ve...to...go...
The nurse (in tension): lekin sir...aap ke tabiyat bahot jyada kharab hai...aap please...andar aayiye...mai aapke saathi ko bula tha hu...
Saying this she tried to grab Abhijeet's hand but he jerked her hand with...
Abhijeet (while breathing heavily): let...me...go...pl..ea..se...
The nurse tried a lot to stop Abhijeet but he stubbornly started to move out of the hospital...
The nurse held her head in helplessness with...
The nurse (in tension): hey bhagwan...ab kya karu...ek kaam kar tha hu innke saathi ko bula thi hu...
Saying this she rushed in search of Pankaj...
