Chapter 4 – Chaos At The Baxter

Baxter Building – Manhattan, New York

A team of four superpowered people were the only thing keeping the growing horde of Genma soldiers from storming the Baxter Building and killing everyone inside.

Two of the four superpowered people were women with the ability to flight, which they used to their advantage.

The other two superpowered people were men, incredibly strong and incredibly durable, who weren't fazed at the puny attacks from the Genma soldiers. Colossus, a man of literal steel, stood guard at the front entrance, keeping the Genma soldiers at bay.

Four Genma soldiers repeatedly swung their katanas at Colossus only for the attacks to bounce off of his body.

"Your strikes do not faze me." Colossus said to the four Genma soldiers. He grabbed and lifted one Genma soldier with his right hand, then threw it at the other three Genma soldiers, dispatching them with ease. The four Genma hit the ground with a thud, dying (again).

Benjamin Grimm, known by the public as 'The Thing' of the Fantastic Four, stood in the middle of the street, directing civilians to the Baxter Building, where they would be safe from harm. Like Colossus, Thing did not look like a regular human. The powerhouse and tank of the Fantastic Four had a body that looked like it was made of solid rock.

"It's CLOBBERIN' TIME TWENTY-FOUR SEVEN!" exclaimed the Thing as he knocked down seven Genma soldiers with a running double clothesline.

"Crystal, is Black Bolt all right with you helping us here?" asked one of the two flying women, Sue Storm, a blonde-haired woman. She had on a blue and black skintight uniform that had a logo on the chest which was a circle with a "4" inside.

The other woman, also flying, known as "Crystal," nodded. She wore a gold-colored outfit and had long reddish-brunette hair. Crystal wore a unique hairpiece was split three ways like a "T."

"Yeah, he and my sister are holding the fort at New Attilian. So far, these freaks haven't tried invading it yet." Crystal answered, then forming flames in her hands, and hurling them at random Genma on the street. "Is Johnny okay?" Crystal asked, genuinely concerned for his well-being.

"He's good. Johnny and Pepper are taking their new friend, Soki, to the Sanctum Sanctorum." Sue answered, creating darts of solid force field energy, and throwing them at other Genma.

"How come?" Crystal asked.

"These things come from Soki's time and they're called Genma." Sue answered.

"Those Genma only have one thing on their minds, bloodshed." Crystal said, creating more fireballs, and throwing them at more Genma.

"They're mindless drones bent on killing and destroying, I have no hard feelings doing the same to them." Sue responded.

"Any word from Fury? You would think S.T.R.I.K.E would be deployed by now." Crystal asked Sue, then commenting on Nick Fury. She then created more fireballs which were thrown at a couple more Genma soldiers who were approaching the Baxter Building.

The four of them haven't broken a sweat, yet.

"Fury's trying to get here ASAP. There are so many incursions happening left and right, it's getting to hard for anyone to keep up with." Sue said.

Thing paused as they felt the ground vibrating, knowing that another incursion was coming.

"Great..." Thing sarcastically grumbled.

Colossus grabbed a random Genma soldier, then powerbombed it on the ground. "What's going on? Is this an earthquake?"

"I wish..." Thing said.

"Incursion incoming!" Sue exclaimed.

Crystal eyed a floating glowing blue energy orb that formed 300 meters to her left that hovered a couple of feet off the ground, then flew in its direction.

"Ben, Colossus, hold the down fort while Crystal and I deal with the incursion!" Sue requested.

Thing looked up at Sue and gave the two-finger salute with his right hand, acknowledging that he and Colossus can handle things on their end.

Colossus grabbed another Genma soldier and threw it into a small group of other Genma soldiers. He ran at the Genma soldiers, who were still grounded and disoriented, and stomped on them to death, effectively killing them (again).

"Stay down!" Colossus commanded.

"Any weird stuff going on at your place?" Thing asked.

Colossus went silent, then he remembered something. "Now that you mention it, Thing... Three continents magically appeared in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. Krakoa and Wakanda have established relations with one of the countries in the largest of the three continents called the Jura Tempest Federation."

"Oh wait, I remember seeing that on the news. Reed wanted to investigate those land masses but we're so busy dealing with the incursions here." Thing added.

Colossus nodded, he understood. "You'd have to see it to believe it. I was surprised to learn that its leader knows a lot about this world and its ways."

Thing expressed shock at what Colossus just told him.

"You think the leader is from our world?" Thing asked.

Colossus shrugged. "Your guess is as good as mine, Thing. I don't want to spoil it for you because this is a place you need to visit for yourself."

"You think S.H.I.E.L.D knows of the place?" Thing asked.

"They're probably thinking if the country's a friend or foe. I wonder if New Attilan is already establishing diplomatic ties with the Jura Tempest Federation." Colossus pondered.

"How are the folks there?" Thing asked, getting more curious about the country.

"Very friendly people from what I was told. The place is full of beings that you would only hear about in the fairy tales, but they break every stereotype. They're well-manned, well-educated, well-articulated..." Colossus said, speaking highly of the Jura Tempest Federation.

While the two conversed and fought off the Genma, Sue and Crystal flew towards the orb. They both got into a defensive stance while they waited for whatever or whoever was going to come out of the orb.

"How common are these incursions?" Crystal asked.

"Getting pretty common, like a few every few days." Sue answered, before descending and landing on the ground. She held out her hands at the orb and enveloped it with an virtually impenetrable force field, ensuring that whatever came out would stay trapped.

A silhouette slowly formed in the orb, it was a person that seemed to have good upper-body strength. The person's arms were muscular, like they worked out a lot. The orb disappeared, revealing the person that was brought into this world via the latest incursion.

"What in the..." Crystal said, shocked and stunned.

Sue, who still had the force field in place, balled her hands into fists, and used them to rub her eyes. She gave another look at whatever came out of the orb and then rubbed her eyes again.

"Um... Crystal, are you seeing what I'm seeing?" Sue asked, unsure of herself.

Crystal slowly descended before landing on the ground and walking up to Sue, getting a better look at whatever just came out of that orb.

"This is NEW, even for me..." Crystal said, perplexed, before scratching her head. Neither she nor Sue knew what to make of the newest incursion.

Still trapped in Sue's force field was an anthropomorphic Shiba Inu that very jacked up arms. The anthropomorphic Shiba Inu looked cute and intimidating at the same time.

The Shiba Inu whimpered, clueless about where he was, then slowly walked to the edge of the force field. He wore some sort of dark colored outfit that was reminiscent to what the Buddhist monks of Thailand commonly wore. His fists and forearms were wrapped in bandages which established that he was some sort of brawler.

"Yeah, you're telling me." Sue replied, still cautious.

The Shiba Inu looked at Sue and Crystal, not knowing what to make of his human captors. He then angrily growled in their direction.

"Whoa, he looks pretty pissed." Crystal said.

"Look, we mean you no harm. I'll let you free as long as you don't attack us." Sue said, hoping that the anthropomorphic Shiba Inu brawler could understand human language, let alone the English language.

The Shiba Inu continued growling, then angrily barked.

"Great, now you pissed him off even more!" Crystal commented.

Sue turned to Crystal and squinted at her. "I don't see you coming up with a better idea."

"If I knew some dog warrior was going to show up, I would've brought Lockjaw with me." Crystal fired back, sarcastically, then taking a deep sigh.

"SUE, INCOMING!" Thing shouted, getting Sue's attention.

Sue and Crystal turned the other way and saw a company of Genma foot soldiers (swordsmen, axemen, and archers) marching in their direction. Thing and Colossus ran after the foot soldiers to keep them from reaching the others.

The anthropomorphic Shiba Inu looked at the Genma soldiers and angrily barked, sensing the presence of danger coming his way. He angrily banged his fists on the force field, hoping to break through with sheer force and brute strength.

Unfortunately, no dice...

Crystal turned around to look at the Shiba Inu who wasn't looking at either herself or Sue but at the incoming Genma soldiers.

"Sue, free him now! That's why he was barking! He wasn't barking at us, he was barking at THEM!" Crystal requested, then pointing at the Genma.

The Shiba Inu snarled as the Genma soldiers got closer.

"Fine." sighed Sue, who dissipated the force field and released the anthropomorphic Shiba Inu.

The anthropomorphic Shiba Inu happily barked at Sue, then turned his attention towards the large group of Genma marching in their direction. He angrily and fiercely snarled at the Genma, then rushed at them, ready to throw down.

"WAIT!" Sue pleaded with the Shiba Inu, then flying after him.

The Shiba Inu continued to angrily bark at the Genma foot soldiers who turned their attention towards him, then marching in his direction.

"Get ready for Power Hook Dog!" the Shiba Inu (literally) barked. Nobody knew how to speak dog, P.H.D's speaking literally sounded like a dog barking.

"Hey Colossus, get a load of this..." Thing said, calling Colossus over to where he was. He completely stopped what he was doing and watched the P.H.D do his thing, not even fazed that the Genma foot soldiers even attacked him.

The swords and axes bounded off of Thing's rock-like body.

Colossus ran over to where Ben was and was stunned at what was happening in front of him, an anthropmorphic Shiba Inu was fighting the Genma.

"Is that an actual dog?" Colossus asked, then giving the side-eye to P.H.D.

"I think so." Thing answered.

P.H.D dashed at one of the Genma soldiers, one holding an axe, and executed his "One Two Punch" special move. He threw out a quick left jab and followed up with a right cross. The speed of the punches combined with the size and mass of P.H.D's arms were enough to drop the Genma footsoldier on the ground.

The anthropomorphic Shiba Inu wasn't done yet, he crouched down and punched the Genma's face repeatedly and killing it.

"This is a good incursion, no?" Colossus asked, though he knew the answer.

"I'm trying to wrap around my head on how this scene is cute and adorable YET freaky as hell..." Thing commented. "I'm glad Johnny's not here to witness it."

P.H.D turned his attention to another Genma footsoldier, one who was armed with a katana, and threw an uppercut to its gut.

The force of the uppercut forced the Genma footsoldier to drop its katana.

"That dog's clobberin' them good." Thing said, impressed at P.H.D's fighting skills.

"I wish I had something to record this." Colossus said.

"Hey, don't let the poor doggy do all of the fighting!" Crystal exclaimed, annoyed that Thing and Colossus were just staring at P.H.D.

"Oh, sorry." Colossus said, then running to the aid of P.H.D. He intercepted a Genma footsoldier and killed it with a bell clap to the head.

The headless Genma fell to the ground, dead (again).

Colossus turned to another group of Genma footsoldiers, ran at them, and executed his "Power Tackle" special attack.

**WHAM**

Colossus effortlessly knocked the Genma footsoldiers back a couple of feet with his special attack, then he rushed them, and pummeled them to death with his punches.

P.H.D turned to face Colossus and happily barked.

"Hey, I think he likes you!" Thing commented.

Crystal took to the air again, circling the remaining Genma footsoldiers and hurling fireballs at them.

P.H.D turned to a cluster of four Genma footsolders, ran at them, and literally enlarged his right arm.

"Whoa, did you see that!?" Ben questioned and exclaimed, pointing at P.H.D.

Sue was silent but she found P.H.D intriguing and entertaining.

P.H.D executed his "Power Hook" super attack by using that same enlarged right arm to hit the four Genma footsoldiers with a vicious right hook.

"It's back to clobberin' time..." Thing said to himself, stretching his fingers out, and running back into the fray. He dispatched three Genma footsoldiers with a running double clothesline. He turned his direction at a group of seven Genma footsoldiers, archers, who were aiming at P.H.D. "Nah uh, nobody hurts the dog!" Thing threatened as he executed his "Hand Clap" special attack, clapping his hands together with thunderous might, sending a concussive shockwave.

The shockwave hit the stunned the Genma in front of him.

"Have some more!" Thing shouted, executing his "Earthclobber" special attack, smashing the ground with both fists, creating ripples on the ground, killing the Genma with the destructive force.

P.H.D turned to Thing and barked happily, knowing that Thing attacked the Genma soldiers for his sake.

A Genma footsoldier, brandishing an axe, approached P.H.D from behind, but was quickly spotted by Crystal, who flew at him, and attacked with a flying punch.

**WHAM!**

The Genma footsoldier dropped his axe while being flung far away.

P.H.D turned to Crystal and happily barked.

"With the five of us, I think we're doing a good job clobberin' these freaks." Thing commented, as he soccer punted a random Genma footsoldier.

"Come in, Sue, Ben." said a voice on an incoming transmission.

Sue pressed a button on a high-tech bracelet that was worn on her left arm. "Reed, what's the situation now?" she asked the man on the other end of the transmission.

"I received a call from Fury, S.H.I.E.L.D is sending reinforcements. E.T.A is approximately twenty-three minutes, I'm coming down from the building to join you guys." Reed explained.

"Are you sure? We're good right now. We even got a new ally." Sue replied.

"New ally?" Reed asked, curious about this new "ally."

"You'll have to see for yourself, Reed. Um, but you should relay to Fury that this ally is not to be attacked." Thing interjected.

"I'll be down there in three minutes." Reed responded.

"Hey, take your time. I'm not joking. These chumps are nothing." Thing replied.

Tatsumi's Textiles, Knowhere – Jupiter's Orbit

A new fixture of Knowhere has been around for at least two months and it has become the talk of the outer space colony known as "Knowhere." The inhabitants of Knowhere made a long line in front of the entrance to the newest addition to Knowhere called "Tatsumi's Textiles."

Three of the people sharing a spot in line were members of one of Knowhere's most important groups, the Guardians of the Galaxy. The first of the three was a short anthropomorphic raccoon who went by "Rocket Racoon," the second was a sentient towering anthropmorphic being of wood & vines named "Groot," and the third was a tall muscular bald man with green skins & markings named "Drax."

Rocket climbed on Groot's body, standing on his partner's right shoulder, and observed the ever-growing line of people waiting to meet the proprietor of Tatsumi's Textiles.

"That Kanji's full of surprises..." Rocket said in awe.

"I..am..Groot..." Groot responded.

"Yeah, I hope he has my uniform patched up." Rocket said back to Groot.

"I'm surprised he didn't freak out when he instantly appeared on our ship." Drax commented.

"I was surprised, too. That kid obviously seen a lot of weird stuff and looked at us like we didn't even faze him..." Rocket added.

"I..am..Groot." Groot added.

A couple and their daughter left the building, satisfied with the work that this "Kanji" did for them. The daughter happily held a handmade knitted doll in her hands.

"Those dolls are insanely popular." Drax said, looking at the girl's doll.

"Gamora and Nebula won't admit it but they would die to get their hands on some of those dolls." Rocket commented.

"Where are they?" Drax asked.

"Nebula's doing diagnostic work on the ship and Gamora's training with our other new friend, Masataka." Rocket answered.

"I..am..Groot..." Groot added.

"Yeah, that Masataka's surprisingely a bonafide badass. Kanji, too..." Rocket said. He stretched out his arms, yawned, and a popped a few joints back in place. "I thought those two were going to piss or shit themselves the moment they realized they weren't in Kansas anymore."

"NEXT!" shouted a voice that came from inside the building.

The next customer, a member of the Kree race, entered the building. Groot and Drax quickly moved up a spot, anxious to enter the building as soon as possible.

"I..am..Groot."

"I wouldn't want to piss either of those guys off, either." Rocket said, laughing.

"How does Kanji even summon that big giant?" Drax asked.

"I..am..Groot."

"Yeah, what Groot said. Kanji called it his "Persona," which is like his special power." Rocket added.

The next batch of customers left the shop satisfied.

"NEXT!" shouted the same voice.

"Groot, c'mon, it's our turn!" Rocket said, anxious to get inside Tatsumi's Textiles.

"I..am..Groot."

The trio stepped through the front entrance to Tatsumi's Textiles and the interior looked like something out of modern day rural Japan. Sheets of fabric adored the walls of Tatsumi's Textiles showing the many designs that customers could choose from.

In the middle of the shop was a tall and skinny, but athletically built, teenage Asian boy. He wore a pair of black slacks that were part of a Japanese school uniform, a gray tanktop, a pair of sunglasses over his eyes that had rectangular frames with purple lenses, and a folded yellow bandana that was tied around his head.

The teenage boy sat on a normal looking wooden stool, sewing up a pair of blue suede pants.

"Groot, go in the back and try these on." the boy said, looking up at Groot. He finished sewing up the pants and handed the pair to Groot.

"I..am..Groot..." Groot responded, taking the pants from the boy, and walking toward a door in the back.

Rocket jumped off of Groot's shoulder and gently landed on the floor, then took a good look around the interior of Tatsumi's Textiles.

"I never expected you to fit in with us so well." Rocket said.

"What's good, Kanji?" Drax asked.

"Heh, just keeping busy. Y'know, when we're not doing Guardian-related stuff." Kanji said. "Never in a thousand years I'd think I'd be sent to an alternate universe, throw my lot in with a bunch of space heroes, and set up my own shop." he added.

"I'm surprised you weren't surprised at all." Rocket replied to Kanji.

Kanji stood up from his seat, yawned, and stretched out. "Tch... If this happened to me last year, I'd go apeshit bonkers."

"So, out of curiosity, not your first time saving the world?" Rocket inquired, feeling that there was more to Kanji.

"Yeah, this mystical world-domination schtick isn't new to me." Kanji said, walking over to an elongated cabinet, opening it up, and taking out a navy blue denim jacket.

"Whoa, is that for me?" Rocket asked with enthusiasm.

Kanji smiled and handed the jacket to Rocket who quickly wore the jacket, then looked at himself at the mirror.

"Holy shit..." Rocket said, impressed. "How much do I owe you?"

Kanji shook his head. "For you guys, on the house. It's the least I can do since you guys saved my ass back there, whatever the hell that place was, taking me in, and helping me set up shop here."

Rocket shook his head. "We should be thanking you. That "Persona" power saved us from a bunch of pissed off Kree warriors."

"I..am..Groot..." Groot said, exiting from the back room, wearing his new pair of pants. He was obviously happy and satisfied with Kanji's work.

Kanji then grabbed something else from the cabinet, a leather belt with blade holsters, and handed it to Drax.

"Is that for me?" Drax asked.

"Yeah, hope you like it." Kanji said.

Drax took the leather belt from Kanji and quickly wore it around his waist, then looked at himself in the mirror.

"I LOVE IT!" Drax shouted at the top of his lungs.

Rocket winced and closed his ears. "Hey, not so loud! You'll bring the entire roof down and ruin Kanji's business."

An athletically built man, human, with short blond hair quickly entered through the front entrance. He was a white man that looked to be between his late-20s and early-30s. The man obviously hasn't shaven for a few days and it showed on his face.

"Pete, y'know you can't just cut in line like that..." Rocket added, turning his face in the direction of the man known as "Pete."

"Well, it's not that kind of appointment." the man known as "Pete" replied back.

Kanji looked at what "Pete" was wearing, it was a full-body dark blue uniform with a specific logo on the chest, opened his mouth, and nodded. "Ooooh... Someone calling the Guardians for help?"

"Yeah, we're launching in thirty minutes." said "Pete."

"Who the hell needs us right now?" Rocket questioned, obviously not in the mood to go out at the moment.

"We're going to Europa. Nova Corps asked us to do a favor and investigate some activity on icy moon, a scout may have seen an Ultron bot." said Pete.

"Robots, frickin' robots..." Rocket groaned.

"We're going to the moon to fight robots? Count me the hell in!" Kanji exclaimed, fired up, before throwing his right fist in the air. "I could use a bit of action!"

"Hahahahahahahahahahahaha, I love him even more!" Drax exclaimed.

"Nebula's getting the Duran Duran ready. See you guys there in 20." Pete said, then walking off to exit Tatsumi's Textiles.

"Yeah, yeah..." Rocket said, making his way to the exit, but stopped dead in his tracks as he saw a display of hand-knitted anthropmorphic plush toys. "Kanji, did you make these yourself?"

"Yeah. All of them sewn up by yours truly." Kanji proudly said. "I can let you look at the rest of the stuff when we get back from Europa."

Rocket nodded. "Yeah, sure." There were a couple of plush toys that caught his attention with one of them being an anthropmorphic otter and another being an anthropmorphic walrus.

"You see something you like, Rocket?" Kanji asked.

"Just browsing a bit, that's all." Rocket answered back, keeping composed while trying to hold back a bunch of emotions. He could feel memories being triggered just by looking at those handcrafted plush toys that were sitting right in front of him. "Don't suppose you got anything warm we can wear..."

Kanji shook his head. "Nope, sorry. I can only do simple Earth stuff. I'm still learning how to use otherwordly materials."

"You'd own the whole galaxy with your sewing skills." Drax commented.

"Welp, time to close shop for the day." Kanji said, walking to the front entrance. He looked at the growing line of customers anxious for his wares and services. "Sorry folks, I gotta close up shop early. Guardians of the Galaxy-related business, you know how it is."

The customers groaned, nodded, and walked off.

"I'll open shop the minute we get back, okay?" Kanji asked.

The customers cheered, anxious for Kanji to get back from his upcoming mission.

Rocket took another look at Kanji's handcrafted plush toys and saw an anthropmorphic rabbit, in which he struggled to keep himself from being emotional. He took a deep breath, regained his composure, turned to Kanji, and said "I'll see you on the ship. I gotta check my weapons."

Kanji nodded, "yeah, I'll see you on the ship."

Starlin's Bar, Knowhere – Jupiter's Orbit

Gamora, one of the Guardians, sat in front of the bar counter at Starlin's Bar which was the one place in Knowhere that had the best drinks. She was an athletically built and attractive humanoid-like alien being with lime green skin and shoulder-length green hair. It was unknown how old Gamora was but she looked like a woman in her mid to late-20s.

Even while seated, Gamora's height couldn't be ignored. She towered over some of the other people who also sat at the bar.

Sitting next to Gamora is a teenage Asian boy, shorter than her in height, who would be 5'6 and a half when standing. He was of Japanese heritage and had short hair with spiky bangs. Contrast to what Gamora was wearing, some sort of sexy black-leather combat uniform that was rather revealing, the teenage boy wore a Japanese school uniform.

The uniform at an arm band around the upper left sleeve with the Guardians' logo.

Gamora was drinking some exotic liquid of unknown origin and the teenage boy was drinking a bottle of carbonated apple juice.

"I will never get USED to sparring you, Masataka Takayanagi..." Gamora said, wincing a bit. It was obvious that the boy, who Gamora referred to as "Masataka," did a number on her. "I might have a chance if me and Nebula attacked you at the same time."

"Heh, I'll take the compliment." Masataka said, remaining humble.

"How old are you again, boy?" Gamora inquired.

"Um, last time I told, which was a couple of weeks ago, I'm 16." Masataka answered, then taking another sip of his carbonated apple juice.

"During my many trips to Earth, I have never met a child who had immense power and equally lethal fighting skills. I know of many young heroes that you would easily put to shame." Gamora complimented.

"I have my older brother, Mitsoumi, to "thank" for him kicking my ass regularly. If you thought I was that skilled and powerful, wait until you meet him, if he gets transported to this universe." Masataka replied.

"If possible, I'd want to visit your reality." Gamora inquired, curious about the reality that Masataka hailed from.

Masataka laughed. "You'd literally have everyone in school trying to fight you and literally every dude wanting to go out with you."

Gamora arched her brow, puzzled. "Why are you laughing, Masataka Takayanagi, is this a bad thing, everyone wanting to challenge me?"

Masataka shook his head. "It's not bad, it's just that the thought is amusing. Extraterristrial beings don't exist in my reality or no discoveries , yet."

"Kanji said the same thing about his reality." Gamora replied, injecting Kanji into the conversation.

Masataka took another sip of his sparkling apple juice. "Man, Kanji's reality is intense as mine. He has the 'Inaba Investigation Team' in his reality and I have the 'Juken Club' in mine."

"You and Kanji WILL see your friends again, I'm sure of it." Gamora assured.

"Yeah, I hope so." Masataka said, slightly smiling. He continued, "right now, I'm going to make the best of this reality. I never thought I'd be teaming up with a bunch of superheroes."

Pete casually entered the front entrance of Starlin's Bar, scanned the room, and saw his fellow Guardians at the bar counter, having a drink. "Gamora, Masataka, finish your drinks quickly, we're leaving for Europa in a couple of minutes."

Gamora turned her seat and faced Pete, who stood at the front entrance. "What's on Europa, Quill?"

"Nova Corps requested we do a recon mission. They have reason to suspect that Ultron set up a base and is rebuilding an army." Pete explained.

Gamora sighed, then finished her drink. "If it's Ultron, we need to eliminate him."

"Who's Ultron?" Masataka asked.

"Someone you better hope you never come across." Gamora warned.

Masataka's face changed from relaxed to nervous and concerned, concluding that this 'Ultron' that Pete Quill mentioned is a bigger threat than anyone he has faced back in his own reality. He chugged down what was left of his sparkling apple juice, then turned to the bartender. "Can I get just one more and put a little booze in it?"

Pete turned to Masataka and laughed a bit. "Yeah... I wouldn't want to take on Ultron while completely sober, either."

Sauchihall Street – Glasgow, Scotland

It was pure chaos and pandemonium tonight in Glasgow's Sauchihall Street, one of the city's main shopping streets, which stretches over a mile and a half. Civilians screamed in panick and horror, trying to flee Sauchihall Street, while being followed by a horde of shambling, freshly turned, zombies. Glasgow was experiencing its own "Hell on Earth," similar to what New York City was experiencing.

Military transport helicopters hovered over random buildings on Sauchihall Street.

The helicopters had a logo that said "B.S.A.A" painted on opposite sides which meant that the "Bioterrorism Security Assessment Alliance."

The ropes descended from B.S.A.A transport helicopters and fully-armed B.S.A.A Operatives descended from the individual ropes. After they descended onto the rooftops, squads of B.S.A.A Operatives took defensive formations along the edges of the roof.

They were armed with assault rilfes, grenade launchers, and sniper rifles.

One B.S.A.A Operative, Parker Luciani, was the last B.S.A.A Operative to descend down from one of the random helicopters. After he descended, he looked up at the transport helicopter and signaled the pilot to fly offf.

"Okay, I want snipers to remain on the roof. Pick off as many of the infected as you can." Parker instructed the B.S.A.A Operatives in front of him. "Everyone else, split up into smaller fire teams and take up defensive formation in the lower floors. Barricade the windows and entrances to keep them from getting inside." he further instructed.

The other B.S.A.A helicopters flew off, leaving the grounded B.S.A.A Operatives to do their thing and deal with the latest biohazardous threat.

"If there are survivors trapped outside, evacuate them to the rooftops and wait until the helicopters come back."

"Yes, sir!" the B.S.A.A Operatives responded, in unison.

40 Minutes Later...

The ground level of Souchihall Street was devastated... It was littered with ammunition casings, totalled vehicles, burning debris, and dead bodies.

The zombies kept coming...

Most of Souchihall Street was barricaded on both ends, trapping the B.S.A.A Operatives with the horde of hungry zombies that kept coming out of every nook and cranny. Parker was on the ground level with a squad of B.S.A.A Operatives who were maintaining a defensive position behind a bunch of parked vehicles in the center of the street.

**RATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATAT!**

"Fire in the hole!" yelled B.S.A.A Operative #1 who pulled the pin off a grenade, then threw the grenade thirty feet away into the crowd of incoming zombies.

**KABOOM!**

The grenade exploded, destroying all zombies within a 25-meter radius.

"Eat this!" yelled B.S.A.A Operative #2, who was armed with a grenade launcher, which was aimed at another section of the incoming horde. The trigger was pulled and a grenade flew from the barrel of the grenade launcher and into the crowd of zombies.

**KABOOM!**

The grenade exploded, creating a plume of acid mist, melting anybody or anything unfortunate enough to be within the mist's radius.

"Have another one!" yelled B.S.A.A Operative #2, who fired another acid round from his grenade launcher.

**KABOOM!**

The grenade exploded, creating another plume of acid mist.

"Keep up the pressure!" Parker commanded.

**KAPOW!**

**KAPOW!**

**KAPOW!**

**KAPOW!**

The B.S.A.A Snipers did all they could to keep the zombies from attacking the B.S.A.A Operatives, including Parker, who remained on the street level. The zombies were faster than the B.S.A.A Snipers could reload, though...

"Commander, we're low on ammo!" exclaimed B.S.A.A Operative #3 who just emptied out their assault rifle.

"Here!" Parker said, grabbing a magazine from his vest and tossing it to B.S.A.A Operative #3.

"Thanks, boss!" B.S.A.A Operative #3 said, grateful, loading the magazine into their assault rifle.

"You B.S.A.A blokes could use an assist," said a woman's voice on the radio. The woman had an English accent, too.

Parker pressed the button on his radio, which was attached to his combat vest. "This is a private channel, who are you?"

"My name is Captain Peggy Carter, I've been asked to assist the B.S.A.A on this assignment." the woman answered.

"I see. Hope you can get here soon, we're low on ammo and supplies. If we go down, then there was no point in rescuing the civilians." Parker responded, while firing his assault rifle at the incoming zombies.

"I'm here now, on your six!" the woman, known as Captain Carter, responded.

Parker heard the faint sound of a fast-moving vehicle coming from behind. He turned around and saw a motorcycle with a sidecar fly off a makeshift ramp. The motorcycle flew over Parker and his group toward the approaching zombies.

"Make a clearing, now!" Parker commanded.

"Got it!" exclaimed B.S.A.A Operative #4 who aimed a grenade launcher at a random section of the horde of zombies, then pulled the trigger three times. Three grenades flew from the grenade launcher and into the crowd of zombies.

**KABOOM!**

**KABOOM!**

**KABOOM!**

"Take this!" yelled B.S.A.A Operative #1, who threw another grenade into the crowd of zombies.

**KABOOM!**

The motorcycle landed in the newly made landing zone. There were two people on the motorcycle with the driver being a tall & muscular athletically-built woman with brunette hair and a leaner built man who wore a mask over his head.

The woman, who was the driver, had on a skin-tight dark blue outfit with the design of the Union Jack. She was armed with a European style longsword and a circular shield that also had the Union Jack logo.

The learner built man's outfit was of a lighter shade of blue and also had the design of the Union Jack.

The woman stepped off of the motorcycle and turned in the direction of Parker's group. "Which one of you is Captain Luciani?"

Parker politely waved to the woman who was obviously "Captain Carter."

"That's me, are you Captain Carter?" Parker asked.

"Yes, in the flesh. If you have extra grenades, can you use them to make another opening? I have backup with me." Captain Carter said.

Parker looked at the B.S.A.A Operatives. "You heard the lady!"

B.S.A.A Operative #1 didn't hesitate, took out another grenade from his vest, pulled the pin, and threw the grenade into the crowd of zombies.

**KABOOM!**

B.S.A.A Operative #2 fired another grenade round into the crowd of zombies.

**KABOOM!**

Carter pressed a button on an earpiece she had in her left ear. "Takayanagi, you're up!"

**WHOOSH!**

Another motorcycle flew over Parker's group and landed by where Captain Carter landed. A muscular and athletically-built young man, Asian, stepped off of his modern-looking motorcycle. He had short hair with wavy bangs and it was a surprisingly natural shade of lime green.

He wore a skin-tight black leather jacket over his chest, a pair of black leather motorcycle pants over his legs, a pair of black motorcycle boots over his feet, and a pair of black fingerless gloves over his hands. Both of ears were pierced.

This person, "Takayanagi," casually walked over to Carter.

"Time for you to pull your weight, Takayanagi." Carter directed at Takayanagi.

"Pfft... That's all I have to do?" the young man asked, eyeing the zombies.

"Don't take these things lightly just because they don't exist in your world." Carter warned.

"One zombie did exist, a person named Fu Chi'en, but he wasn't like those shambling sacks of flesh." Takayanagi countered. He casually strolled past Captain Carter and Union Jack, leaving them speechless.

"What? He can't take those out by himself! He has no weapons!" Parker interjected, watching this Takayanagi walk toward the zombies.

Once Takayanagi got close enough, he quickly assumed the horse stance (a common stance in the martial arts), and threw a straight punch with his right hand. Takayanagi unleashed a burst if glowing energy upon impact that violently tore through a couple of zombies.

He quickly stepped forward, assumed a front stance (another combat stance in the martial arts), and executed a thrusting double-fist strike. Takayanagi unleashed a burst off energy on impact that tore through even more zombies in the process.

Parker and the rest of the B.S.A.A Operatives watched in shock and awe.

"Stay dead..." Takayanagi coldly directed at the approaching zombies. He ran toward the zombies and executed a jumping double kick with the force knocking several zombies high into the air. The zombies fell hard on the ground with their heads splattering into chucks and pieces, killing them (again).

Three zombies approached Takayanagi from the right.

**WHOOSH!**

Captain Carter grabbed her shield and threw it at the three zombies, slicing their heads over, and destroying their brains.

The three zombies dropped to the ground, dead (again).

"Watch your threes, sixes, and nines, kid!" Union Jack exclaimed, then drawing his Webley .455 revolver, aiming at one zombie, and pulling the trigger.

The shield flew back at Captain Carter, who grabbed the shield, and threw it back at the zombies again.

"Don't lecture me, old man." Takayanagi warned.

"Mitsoumi Takayanagi, I suggest you show Lord Falsworth your respect. I don't know how things are done in your world, you keep up this attitude and you'll find yourself all alone." Carter reprimanded. The shield flew back at Carter, who caught it again, then again threw it at the zombies, killing several more in the process.

"Tch, fine..." Takayanagi, now known as Mitsoumi Takayanagi, said, reluctantly complying.

Union Jack quickly aimed and fired his pistol at another zombie, sending a round through its head.

"Fire teams, advance!" Parker commanded. He vaulted over one vehicle in the makeshift barricade with other B.S.A.A Operatives following suit.

**RATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATAT!**

**KAPOW!**

**KABOOM!**

**RATATATATATATATATATATATATATATATAT!**

"Everyone, stay back! I'm going to clear most of them!" Mitsoumi commanded. Carter and Union Jack nodded, then turning to Parker and his group.

"Listen to the young man, he is going to clear most of them." Carter advised.

Parker stopped in his tracks and held out his hand which signalled the rest of the fire team to hold position.

Mitsoumi walked toward the zombies to get close enough for a devastating attack. He fearlessly eyed the mindless and ravenous zombies that eyed him as their next meal. Mitsoumi took one stance, into a deeper version of his front stance, and thrusted both palms at the zombies.

He unleashed his "Ryukei Qigong Tashikou Shinden: Gao Soryu Enrensho" attack, which fired a huge blast of chi energy form his palms, and into the zombies. The blast of energy, combined with Mitsoumi's superhuman strength, violently tore through the mass of zombies.

Mitsoumi dealt with most of the zombies.

"Time for us to clean up then." Carter said, running past Mitsoumi, drawing her sword, and dispatching any zombie that came her way.

"Not bad, young man." Union Jack complimented as he followed Carter.

"Heh." Mitsoumi said.

"Whatever they're feeding you at home, I want." Parker said.
