Chalice came in with Luke's birthday breakfast. Luke was topless and just had his pants on. He was also barefoot. Chalice didn't mind at all. She just smiled at her husband.
"You're still getting ready, I see." Chalice says with a smile.
Luke nods. He then sees the cinnamon rolls Chalice made, which were formed into a mold that looked like Luke holding the number 20. He grinned at this.
Emila was in a bad mood. "How come Luke gets all the best mentors? First, Oliver stops me from winning. Now it's Luke! Ugh!" She shouted. She heads over.
The siblings and Luke's friends were all going to support Luke.
"Luke's going to win!" Lola says.
"Luke's the best at everything!" Lana says.
Lucy was nervous because part of her thought this day would go wrong.
They soon arrive at the competition.
Emila looks at Luke. "I should have known." Emila says and looked annoyed, knowing she had no chance. This was Luke, who was perfect.
"Hey, I trained you, you'll be fine." Drell says.
The 1st round was a magical showcase act. Emila sees the magic club cheering Luke on, then she sees Alem tuber, Jack, Reilly, and Alex on Luke's side.
Emila looked sad. "Even my friends like Luke." Emila says.
Emila had her turn. Emila smirked and chanted a spell, opening portals as birds flew out of the portals and turned into rainbows. The judges clapped.
Luke smiled, coming on stage. He conjured up a snowstorm and built a magical igloo. He then goes inside it. He comes out with a group of penguins and they begin dancing to "I Don't Feel Like Dancing" by The Scissor Sisters. Luke flashed a charming grin as the penguins did the same. He finished by dancing on the back of a magical polar bear.
Everyone screamed and cheered for Luke.
Round 2 was a magical race. Everyone got on their brooms and took off as Emila took the lead.
Emila smirked before Luke took the lead. They race around avoiding traps.
Soon, Luke won as Emila was not pleased.
The third round was a game of hide and seek. Emila and Luke won with a few others.
Round 4 was a magic fight. One kid shot spells at Emila. Emila dodged them all and smirked as she tossed magic stars at the kid as they blew up.
Crush tried punching Emila with a giant magic fist as Emila dodged and smirked. He shot a bunch of power magic fists as Emila moved left and right before using a stun spell.
Luke and Cassandra smirked at each other as Cassandra unleashed magic poison ivy as Luke dodged. Her two lackeys shot magic spells as Luke blasted them with flames, causing explosions as Emila took notice.
Cassandra blew a whistle as she then created magic stone monsters to take out Emila, so she and Luke would be the final 2.
Emila leaped and kicked them down.
"Go, Emila!" Sabrina says.
"Please, Emila doesn't stand a chance. You're always going to be in second place." Cassandra says and blasts Emila with magic.
Emila got up. "No. Drell trained me ever since I was 5. I can do this. He's the best mentor anyone can ask for." Emila says. She shoots magic ropes and makes Cassandra fall.
Round 5 was a magical music competition.
"Okay, every TV show is just using a music gimmick now." Emila says.
"I am the best!" Luke says as people cheered.
"He isn't wrong. You suck, Emila." Lola says.
Emila got an interview.
"So are the Cosmic buddies going on any adventures?" A reporter asked
"I guess." Emila says. "But we are going to be in a video game."
Luke was interviewed about his new movie, his birthday, and his tour. Luke smiled.
Round 5 soon began as Emila came out.
"Boo!" Lola booed.
Emila looked annoyed at this and used a spell to mute Lola. Emila began to perform "I Put A Spell On You". She used magic sparks and magic constructs of witches dancing.
Some people cheer. But most wanted Luke. Emila soon finished.
"Coming up next is the biggest star in the world, Luke Huntington!" The host says.
Luke comes out as fans cheer.
Luke performed "Let's Go Crazy" as girls fainted.
Luke was soon awarded with the victory. Emila sighed. Luke smiled as the siblings lifted him up.
They head to Lush Rooftop, a rooftop club in San Antonio.
"Happy Birthday, Luke!" Luke's friends and family say.
"Aw, thanks, guys!" Luke says.
"My grandson is 20!" Amelia says.
Luke smiled as she got him an old family photo from years ago.
"Awww, thanks…" Luke says and hugs Amelia.
Savannah got him a pass to Candy City. Luke was excited about this gift for sure as he loved candy.
After receiving gifts from his loved ones, Luke indulged in a series of enjoyable birthday activities. He then took to the dance floor with his stunning wife, gracefully moving to the rhythm. The atmosphere was filled with cheers and applause as Lynn emerged victorious in several party games. Luke couldn't help but smile as he was showered with confetti, adding to the festive and lively ambiance.
Luan told funny jokes as Luke laughed.
Lola smirked as she did a performance for him. Luke clapped.
Lucy was nervous as she read her poem; she was still not mentally stable.
The DJ goes back to playing music as Luke gets a mojito and sips it. The mojito is his club drink of choice as he loves the minty flavor. He looks around at everyone having a good time.
"This is the best birthday celebration ever!" Luke says.
Lola and Lana were dancing around.
"So, what's your 21st birthday looking like?" Garrett asked.
"I have a whole week of celebrations planned. A club party like this one, a 'War Games' party where there will be lots of team games, a party where we get to see my favorite Broadway musical and we get to celebrate at the theater after the show, a party at the trampoline park, and a party at the winter park." Luke says. "I really thought of everything for my 21st birthday next year!"
"Wow! It all sounds amazing!" Lonnie says.
"I can't wait for the War Games party!" Stephen says.
"And the Broadway party sounds delightful!" Remy says.
"I love trampoline parks!" Colleen says.
Soon, Chalice pulled Luke to the dance floor. "Let's have some fun!" Chalice says.
"What kind of fun?" Luke asked.
She began to dance with him. Luke danced awkwardly, just trying to do as she said.
After that they watched Luke's highlight reel. Luke smiled.
Soon, the lights turned off. Lucy helped Luke to his throne.
The lights turned on as it revealed a chocolate fountain themed cake. Luke just looked at it. He didn't know what to think.
"I-I-I wanted to try something new for once." Lucy says as she fiddled with her hair.
It said "Happy 20th Birthday, Luke! We love you so, so much!"
Lucy also made a death by chocolate cake just in case. It said the same thing. Everyone smiled as Lucy lit the candles and Luna started the singing. Luke smiled for once as his birthday celebration was going perfectly.
Luke loved the cake as he ate 4 slices of it.
As the party was winding down, Lucy was starting to mentally heal and calm down.
"I feel better now." Lucy says.
"We're glad, sis." Lynn says.
Luke had headed back to Fairway University with a gas can in one hand and a bag of cards in the other. Lisa yawned.
Luke was far enough away from the dorms as he poured the entire can of gas over the birthday cards his classmates didn't bother to sign for him over the course of a year, and especially this year.
Lisa hears his thoughts, but says nothing. If Lucy hears about this, well, who knows? Lisa smiled, getting ready for bed.
Luke was burning the unsigned cards in the woods, hissing and throwing another bag of the same type of cards into the fire.
