On Luke's anniversary, Lucy came in with his anniversary breakfast. "Happy 12th Anniversary, Luke." Lucy says. Luke wasn't smiling much.
"Thanks." Luke says. He sees the breakfast and begins to eat.
Lucy smiled.
After breakfast, Luke was still feeling disheartened and discouraged. He didn't feel like a star and he felt like he didn't want to perform anymore.
"It's your choice." Lisa says. "We all know you're a star. In order to feel like one, you must believe in yourself and look deep within yourself."
"I'm doing all that…but I still feel used and washed-up." Luke says sadly.
Lisa thinks for a minute or two.
"That is true." Lisa says. "You were used, but that doesn't mean you're washed-up."
"I'll never go on stage again!" Luke cries.
Lisa holds him as Lucy feels bad for him.
Meanwhile, Luna was with Savannah and Tina, wondering what they could do for the next show.
"We're going to win for sure!" Savannah says as Tina was unsure.
Luna couldn't help but think about what happened to Luke. She felt really bad for him.
Tina was shaking, nervous about the next show.
"It's okay." Savannah says.
Luna just kept thinking of Luke.
Lynn comforts Luke. Luke wondered about whether he would even go back to performing after what he had to deal with.
"It's your choice." Lisa says.
Luke decided he would go back to performing. He still felt discouraged, however. Would he get an opportunity to perform again?
Lori later took Luke out for his anniversary. He didn't make eye contact. His mind wandered. She felt bad for him as they arrived at the local Chuck E. Cheese's. Luke walked in with Lori, his face covered with his hands.
"Hey, it's okay." Lori says.
"Will I ever perform again?" Luke asked sadly.
"Yeah!" Lori says.
"When will that be?" Luke asked. "Never?"
"Be positive." Lori says.
"I'll try." Luke says.
Later, Luke comes home. He goes upstairs to his room and says nothing. He stares at the posters on his wall. He tears up and just looks down.
The siblings decorate.
"Do you think he's in a party mood?" Luan asked.
"This is his anniversary." Lucy says.
"That doesn't answer my question." Luan says.
"No." Lucy says.
Luna came home to see Luke.
"Hey, Luke, how are you doing right now?" She asked him.
He sniffed and hugged Luna.
"Has your anniversary been good, Lukey?" Luna asked.
He nods. "But I don't want to celebrate at home." Luke says.
"You won't. But why do you feel sad?" Luna asked.
"You know why." Lucy says.
"This is between me and Luke, Luce-Change. Go somewhere else, please." Luna says. "Otherwise, I'm going to tell Mom about all the overprotective behavior you exhibited a week before Luke's 'tour'..."
Lucy sighed and left the room.
An hour later, Leni gets Luke.
"Luke, are you ready? Because I have a surprise for you!" Leni says
They arrive at Lush Rooftop.
"Ta-da! Happy 12th anniversary, Luke!" Everyone says.
"Wow! Is all this for me?!" Luke asked, surprised.
"Yes, my sweet treasure. You deserve this wonderful celebration of your 12 glorious years of performance!" Charity says and hugs Luke.
"I am so touched…this is just amazing!" Luke says.
"Tonight, we celebrate our favorite star! You!" Luna says to Luke.
Gifts were piled in front of Luke. Luke opens Luna's gift first.
It was a book about Luke and his twelve years of acting and a new guitar. He grinned.
He then opens his mom's gift, which was a sapphire necklace with blue topaz Walk Of Fame star charms.
"I love it!" Luke says and puts the necklace on.
Lucy reads him an anniversary poem. He smiles at this.
After this, Lucy reveals an anniversary parade float. Luke was unsure about this.
"Do you want it?" Lucy asked.
"Sure." Luke says.
Lucy puts his sash on him, and he smiles. He climbs onto his 12th anniversary float and allows it to make its journey across town as he smiles and waves to the crowd.
After the parade came the entertainment. First, Lola put on a show for him, which he thoroughly enjoyed. After that, Luan showed off her latest mime act, which made Luke giggle.
Luna then played some music and sang a song dedicated to Luke. He smiled at this.
After all that, Luke helped himself to the buffet that was set up. It had all of his favorite foods.
He smiled at this and ate some of everything. Luan brought out the piñata that looked like a movie camera as Luke hissed at it.
"What's wrong?" Luan asked as Luke cried.
Luna told Luan everything.
Luan holds him. "Do you want to break the piñata?" Luan asked.
Luke gave the nine-iron to Lucy, and they broke it open together, sending the candy spilling onto the floor. Luke took his share of it and sat at a table alone. Lucy smiled at him.
He later went to have a break as he grabbed a mojito and drank it slowly.
Lucy looks worried about Luke. Luke had been happy for a lot of the party, but knows his happiness won't last much longer.
Lucy does a piano performance as Luke watches. He smiles a little.
Soon the lights went out. Luke looked around as it lit up to reveal a nice 12 layer cake, every layer a different flavor and a different theme based on Luke's many acting achievements. He smiled at this, even if it was forced. He saw 12 candles on the very top layer of the cake and wondered how he was going to reach them.
Lucy has a magical ladder. "Here." Lucy says.
Luke climbed it as everyone sang his anniversary song to him. He took in this moment.
He sees his family and friends smiling at him as he thinks of a wish. He is still thinking 5 minutes later.
He wishes to perform again. He blew the candles out as everyone cheered. He cuts himself four slices of cake and goes outside.
After the party, Luke just sat on the roof at home until he got tired. It was a great anniversary. But all he wanted now was an opportunity to perform and wanted more than just his movie.
He wanted to be a star again.
