The Next Morning after the end of term feast, Harry woke up and walked over to his trunk to pack it for the Hogwarts Express as did Neville and the other Gryffindors. As Harry brought his trunk down to the common room, Katie Bell walked over to him and bumped her bum into his.
"Katie, what was that for?" Harry asked.
"Just wanted to thank you for saving the school a few nights ago." Katie said as she kissed his cheek.
"you know, you could just walk with me and talk." Harry said.
"Don't mind if i do. besides we need to hang out sometime." Katie said.
"well, maybe we can discuss Quidditch strategies on the train." Harry suggested.
"What do you have in mind?" Katie asked.
"you need to work on your chasing skills, I noticed that you were having trouble with the Quaffle during the match last week." Harry said.
"That's why i'd like to get to know you." Katie said as they got to the Front door of the castle to go back to Hogsmead Station.
"Hey love, what's up?" Susan asked.
"Nothing really, just ready for the summer to begin so i can concentrate on my homework." Harry said.
"Oh come on Harry, you need to drop by Bones Manor this summer. maybe i'll make it worth your while." Susan said.
"i'd love to drop by Bones Manor to see you Susie." Harry said.
"Let's get together this summer." Susan said.
"okay see you later Susan, anyway what did you want to talk about?" Harry asked.
"I thought we could be friends Harry." Katie said.
"We're going to be great friends." Harry said.
"Good, now I've got to get to Angelina." Katie said.
"Okay, see you later." Harry said as he boarded the Hogwarts Express.
"Hey Harry, we can sit together if you want." Neville said walking with him.
"Sure nev, it's fine with me." Harry said as they found a compartment.
As they sat down, they hear a knock on the glass. they look up to see Ron trying to open the door, but the door won't budge.
"What do you want Weasley?" Neville asked.
"I'm trying to get to Harry, Longbottom." Ron sneered.
"I'd suggest that you back off Ron, looks like Harry is in the middle of a conversation with Neville." Hermione said.
"But Dumbledore said." Ron started to argue.
"Are you that stupid Ron, are you that stupid not to realize that Neville and Harry have the most powerful seats on the Wizengamont?" Hannah asked.
"Why thank you for pointing that out for him Hannah. now Weasley, you should realise that House Longbottom and House Potter have had an Alliance since the first war." Neville said.
Ron stood there looked at Neville in shock like a deer in head lights knowing that he just insulted the Heir of House Longbottom.
"Fool, we told you not to antagonize Neville. Idiot!" Fred and George said.
"what did Ron just do?" Hermione asked.
"He just insulted the Heir of the House of Longbottom." Hannah said as Susan and Daphne walked over.
"You did what?!" Susan and Daphne shouted pointing their wands at Ron.
"Yeah, i insulted Neville. So what?" Ron said.
"You shouldn't have done that Ron, Neville's family are important in our world. especially after what happened to his parents." Fred said.
"Whoa! what happened to Neville's parents?" Hermione asked.
"They've been in St. Mungos for ten years." Hannah said.
"oh my, Nev i'm sorry to hear that." Hermione said.
"I don't like talking about it, the only reason why it's being brought up is because my mum is a friend of Harry's mum." Neville said.
After the brief conversation with Neville and Harry, Susan decided to send off a letter to Amelia to let her know that the Hogwarts Express will be at Kings Cross Station soon. After the owl left for the Ministry of Magic, Susan sat down with Harry to discuss some wizarding etiquette like formally introducing themselves among other things. Neville never understood why Harry didn't know these things, but was determined to help him in anyway he could.
"Harry, why didn't you tell me that you weren't aware of Wizarding etiquette?" Neville asked.
"Well nev, i was raised by muggles." Harry said.
"that explains why you haven't received any of my letters." Susan said.
"What letters? i didn't receive any letters." Harry said.
"what do you mean you didn't receive any letters?" Neville asked.
"My aunt and uncle burn anything addressed to me, that's why i've not received any of the letters. maybe you could send the letters through Hedwig." Harry said pointing to his owl.
"Good idea. that should give us privacy." Susan thought.
"anyway, when are you and Ginny going to start dating?" Harry asked.
"when she turns fourteen probably." Neville said
"Really? we assumed that you were already dating." Susan said taking Harry's hand.
"well, I'm tired of trying to tell Ron that I'm Betrothed to his sister." Neville said.
"Don't let him get to you nev, besides he's an arse." Harry said.
"I had heard about him blaming professor snape this year. he needs to realize that the Wizarding world doesn't revolve around Chess and Quidditch." Daphne said.
"anyway let's change into our muggle clothing. we'll be arriving at Kings Cross Station in a few moments." Susan said.
Harry had already seen her change in front of him in September, so he'd decided to take her to the loo for a private conversation alone. he gestured for her to follow him at which she did. as they got into the loo, she started kissing him long and hard.
"Susan, if you want to snog then let's get it out first." Harry said as they kept kissing.
"mmm, Harry, let's keep going." Susan said going down on her knees.
"Let's keep it Quiet, we don't know why we're acting like horny teenagers." Harry said.
"Maybe auntie knows why. i'll ask her at Kings Cross Station. anyway, let's change our clothes." Susan said taking off her school uniform in front of him.
"Nice breasts." Harry thought.
"Thank you Harry." Susan said blushing.
"you're welcome susie." Harry said.
"hmm, I'm beginning to wonder why we're reading each others minds." Susan said.
"I've been reading about Phoenix's in the library at school, maybe we're connected to each other somehow." Harry said.
"Let's find out, but what do we do?" Susan asked.
"well, it's a Phoenix connection. We'll just have to figure it out." Harry said as he pulled on his T-Shirt.
"By the way Harry, you should get some different clothes instead of those oversized ones that you wear." Susan said as she kissed his lips before taking his hand to walk back to their compartment.
As they got to their compartment, they see Neville waiting for them.
"What took you so long?" Neville asked.
"We were talking about our relationship." Susan said as she sat down with Harry holding his hand.
"You two finally bond together?" Hannah asked.
"Not yet, we're still researching it out first." Harry said feeling their hands glow.
"do you know that your hands are glowing?" Neville asked.
"Oh yeah, they've been doing that since the Quidditch match back in October." Harry said.
"which means that the Heir of the Phoenix could be..." Neville said.
"Woah, what are you talking about nev?" Susan asked.
Harry and Susan looked at Neville in confusion not knowing what he meant by Heir of the Phoenix.
"Well, Susan's uncle Edgar Bones was part of the group that went after you know who." Neville said.
"What do you know about the first war Neville?" Daphne asked.
"i've been in the library reading up on my mum's notes from 1979-1981, apparently they were working with Edgar Bones to stop him." Neville said.
"Let's keep this conversation between the five of us." Harry said.
"Harry, our parents were good friends to each other, my dad was an Auror like yours." Neville said.
"Really? when did you find this out?" Harry asked.
"Auntie brought it up a year ago during one of the parties at Longbottom Hall." Susan said.
"Wait for moment Susan, your aunt knew my parents?" Harry asked.
"As a matter of fact she did, she was a junior Auror during the first war. after your parents were killed she was the one leading the investigation until someone stopped it." Susan said.
"i'll keep this to myself for awhile." Harry said.
"Anyway, the train is slowing down at Kings Cross." Neville said.
"Susan, can you have your aunt write a letter to me during the summer?" Harry asked as they got off the Hogwarts Express.
"Of course Harry, Besides Neville needs to go see his Betrothed anyway." Susan said.
While walking over to Amelia, Harry and Susan looked over at the Weasley's and walked toward Arthur and Molly for a few moments.
"Mr and Mrs Weasley, how are you two doing today?" Susan asked.
"We're just fine dears, we're just waiting for Fred, George, Ron and Percy to get off the train." Molly said.
"Well Neville asked me to hand this to Ginny if i spot her before he gets off the train." Harry said spotting Ginny standing behind Arthur.
"Hey Harry, what's that you're holding?" Ginny asked walking over to him.
"it's addressed to you ginny. thought I'd give it to you." Harry said handing her the letter.
The envelope had the words Open in Private written on it. After placing it in her pocket, she hugged Harry and left after Ron and the others got there.
"Susan, I'm over here!" Amelia called out.
Harry and Susan walked over to her and they left platform 9 and 3/4 to see the Dursley's waiting for Harry. Amelia walked over to them and talked to Petunia.
"Sorry to interrupt but, you're in front of my car." Amelia said.
"and you are?" Vernon asked.
"I'm Amelia Bones. if you don't move away from my car, i'll have you arrested." Amelia said sternly.
"Oh pardon us madam, we were waiting for our nephew." Petunia said politely.
"Quite, your nephew goes to school with my niece. and yes i knew your sister Lily, she was a wonderful woman." Amelia said.
"How do you know Lily? she never mentioned working for the Ministry." Petunia said.
"Her department was kept secret from the others." Amelia said.
"Anyway, we'd better get going home. Don't want you falling asleep in the car Harry." Petunia said while Harry was placing his trunk and Hedwigs cage in the back of the car.
"Of course, it's not like you want Vernon here to torture him in front of my niece or myself Petunia." Amelia said sternly.
"what are you talking about?" Vernon asked.
"you think that we wouldn't find out that the Heir of House Potter was being treated like dirt after he was dropped on your doorstep?" Amelia asked.
"Whoever told you that was lying." Vernon said.
"Funny, how people in my department also work with children in Surrey. Especially Privet Drive." Amelia said knowing that she's got them red handed.
"Edgar Bones worked with James Potter in that same department." Petunia said shaking now knowing who Amelia really was.
"Yes, my brother Edgar lost his life to the same person who killed James and Lily. i tried to get a hold of you about this case and give you the details about it, but you wouldn't give me a call to tell you everything that happened that night." Amelia said.
"well we were told not to contact you." Vernon said.
"hmm, do you mind if my niece and i follow your car?" Amelia asked.
"Of course not, Harry can ride with you." Petunia said.
