So here is the 3rd chapter I wrote recently. I am working on the 4th chapter, so expect one soon. I hope this time I don't go homeless again so this story should be updated regularly. Have a great day!
Naruto sighed for what seemed like the thousand time as he looked down at the city before him. No matter how many times he saw this view it always left him amazed. Nowhere in the Land of Fire, no, nowhere in the Elemental Nations did a city like this exist. The sheer size and scale of it always left him impressed.
"And all of this built by people without Chakra." Naruto muttered to himself. Truly what marvels people could build if they focused on peace, not war. He was broken out of his thoughts when he heard police sirens across the city. Frowning, he turned towards the direction of the disturbance.
"Let's go put some punks behind bars." He said as he left off the building and effortlessly landing onto the next one before he took off, vanishing towards the crime in progress.
Bank robbers:
They had done it! This was their biggest heist yet and they had almost gotten away with it.
"We gotta shake off the cops!" One of the masked robbers shouted to the driver, who cursed as he took a sharp right turn, allowing the incoming cop cruiser to crash into the one chasing them.
"Eat shit assholes!" The driver shouted out the window with a grin. Cops these days were lazy idiots, having become too reliant on the Sups. If they could shake off the cops, they could easily slip away before the Sups' arrived.
"Can't wait to be done after this! This is gonna set us up for life!" One of the robbers shouted as he checked the money.
"Yh, if the Sup's don't show up!" His conspirators shouted at him, tempering the man's expectations. Said man just rolled his eyes.
"You're being overly cautious Brad! Sups' too busy with that meeting that's happening tonight!" The robber stated as the man named Brad frowned at his friend.
"Michael, you're forgetting about the Fox!" Brad countered as Michael shrugged his shoulders, he could only hope the Fox didn't show.
"Who the fuck cares if Fox show up! I'll skin him like a fucking rabbit!" The driver shouted as he dodged traffic at top speed.
"Trevor! Watch your goddamn driving!" Michael shouted at him, but Trevor just went faster.
"Oh, shut your mouth! I'm getting us out of here, and like I said, I don't give a fuck about Fox!" Trevor shouted as he focused on driving. After this, they were finished, done, set for life! And no one was gonna stop them! Not the cops, not the Sups' and certainly not Fox!
"Well, that's a shame. I was hoping you care." A voice broke Trevor out of his concentration as he looked to his right to find the subject of their conversation sitting in the passenger seat, Fox.
"What the fuck!" Trevor shouted as he reached for his sidearm, but Naruto was faster. He quickly pulled out a Kunai and shoved it into Trevor's right shoulder, making sure he missed all the vital points. The man screamed out to the heavens as he lost control of the truck.
"What the hells going on up there?!" Michael shouted as the truck was going out of control. Naruto shrugged as he grabbed the steering wheel and turned it to the left, causing the truck to take a sharp left turn, right into a wall and avoiding a pair of teenagers. By the time the truck collided with the build wall Naruto had already left the truck.
The trucks collusion was violent as it came to an immediate stop, but Naruto wasn't worried. These trucks were heavily armored, and the driver and its occupants would live, with some injuries, nothing too major. The two other robbers that were in the back, Michael, and Brad, stumbled out of the back of the truck as they coughed.
"Now then, will it be the easy way or the hard way?" Naruto questioned as he crossed his arms, waiting their choice, though he knew how this always ended.
"Eat lead!" Michael shouted as he raised his weapon to fire, but Naruto didn't give him the chance as he quickly threw two Kunai's, disarming the two quickly and easily. Naruto sighed as he approached the two would be robbers as they stood, frozen in shock. They knew how fast the Fox was, but to see him in action was a whole other thing.
"Just give up will yh. Don't make this any more difficult than it already is." Naruto stated plainly. Michael complied and raised his hand behind his head and got on his knees. No way in hell they could take on the likes of Fox, but Brad wasn't having it.
"Nah, fuck this shit!" Brad shouted as he turned and ran. Naruto shook his head as he reached for his Kunai but narrowed his eyes as Brad's body began to fall forward thanks to two laser beams. The man was dead before he hit the ground.
"That was unnecessary." Naruto commented as he looked up to find one Homelander, looking down at him with that smug smile of his.
"He's a criminal. Why should it matter if he's alive or dead?" Homelander spoke frankly, with that twisted smile of his.
"That isn't for to you decide. His crime was robbing a bank, not murder." Naruto countered as Homelander descended and stood next to Michael, who was sweating bullets, with his arms behind his back.
"Oh please. They're criminals! They waste police and prison resources when you can just do away with them?" Homelander questioned as he made to lay his hand on Michael's shoulder, but before he could, he found his hand pierced courteous of Naruto's Kunai's. Naruto just stood there, looking at him unimpressed.
"Lay a hand on him and I'll do more than just stab you in the hand." Naruto stated as Homelander looked his hand in shock.
"Y-You got me to bleed." Homelander said out in shock, but Naruto simply huffed.
"You might think your top shit, but you are nowhere near my level." Naruto said casually. Naruto might not be actively going out of his way to pick a fight with Vought and their Sups', but he would put them in their place if they tried to test him. Homelander shook his head as he pulled out Naruto's Kunai and threw it at him with as much speed as possible, but Naruto effortlessly caught it.
"Thanks for retrieving my weapon." Naruto said with a chuckle as he swiped his Kunai down, clearing it of blood as he pocketed it. Homelander was growling at this point as he prepared himself to fight, but before he could another figure landed between the two.
"Ok, let's not get violent." Naruto raised his eyebrow at the figure, Queen Maeve. The only female member of the Seven, or rather then Six currently. Naruto shrugged his shoulder as he turned to leave seeing the police arriving.
"You should tell your friend over their to be less violent." Naruto stated, pointing at Homelander, who growled as his eyes glowed red. Queen Maeve only moved to stand in-front of Homelander to defuse the situation.
"Please don't antagonize him anymore then you already have" Maeve requested to which Naruto shrugged once more, showing his indifference. He had fought in a war, fought opponents that were well above Homelander's level. He turned to leave but Queen Maeve stopped him.
"Wait! Can we talk?" Maeve questioned as Naruto stopped at looked at her.
"About what?" Naruto questioned as Maeve sized him up. Despite his outfit covering much of his body, she could tell he was built better then Homelander, and almost as tall as him either.
"Look, it's clearly to me that you are very powerful. The fact that you were able to hurt Homelander tells me everything I need to know. So, with that said, why don't you join us, the Seven?" Maeve questioned/offered. Naruto let out a snort at that while Homelander had a look of range on his face. How dare she offer him a position in the Seven?! That decision was his to make!
"Because I refuse to fight for a cause I do not believe in. I despise what Vought and the Seven stand for." Naruto answered simply as Maeve looked at him in surprise.
"But we help people." She responded.
"And there are countless more that go undefended and countless still that die because of you Sups', like that girl on the TV last night." Naruto countered honestly. Maeve looked at him in surprise once more as Naruto turned to leave.
"I defend those that cannot defend themselves and that is enough for me. I don't want to be a tool, a product or whatever you are to Vought. I don't want to beholden to shareholders or to some higher authority that tells me who I can or cannot protect. Vought is everything I stand against." Naruto answered. Vought was just another greedy company that sought to gain more power, and they weren't shy about how they obtained it. It reminded him of Gato and Danzo to some extent. Gato wanted all the power and wealth, and he was willing to bleed Wave dry for it. And Danzo raised his own personal army of brainwashed Shinobi to protect his sick version of the Leaf. Naturally Naruto distrusted people and organizations with such ambitions. With that, he let go of a smoke bomb and when the white smoke disappeared, he was gone with it.
"What the fuck Maeve!" Homelander shouted at Maeve who turned to him with a frown on her face, but Homelander wasn't having it, thought he'd have to temper his anger given that the crowed was growing and the police was here.
"We will talk of this later." Homelander whispered to her as she sighed. He had always sought to dominate her and others through intimidation, given that he was the strongest of all Sups'. For now, however, he'd keep his cool as the media started to converge on them. She was sure that they would have a conversation about this later.
With Naruto a few hours later:
The day was over as the sun had set and the moon now took its place, but the city never sleeps, but Naruto was finished for the day. He had helped a few more people, prevented some accidents here and there so he was turning in for the night and was relacing by watching the news.
"And when he arrived at the scene, he attacked me for no reason. Clearly this Fox individual is a very dangerous person that must be brought to justice." Homelander spoke on the TV, giving his report to the news.
"The bastard is taking credit for your work and also framing you!" Kurama growled within the seal as Naruto sighed. Despite how much good he had done Vought and the Sups could always turn public opinion against him. And with how they had been trying to frame him as a dangerous rouge villain, he had no doubt that they had no intentions of stopping.
"It doesn't matter. They can use all the money they want to change the truth, but it changes nothing. A majority of the people actually have a positive view of my doings." Naruto stated as he almost inhaled ramen at frighting speed. After all these years this was still his favorite dish.
"You should crash their shareholder meeting! I heard they are getting a new Sup' for the Seven and you and I both know who it's gonna be." Kurama stated as Naruto finished his ramen.
"Starlight. Yh. I figured that out easily. After our first encounter, I looked her up. I had to after how she introduced herself as a bigshot hero and only one reason she would be here, she's going to be inducted into the Seven." Naruto reasoned as he thought about tonight's big event.
"Did you use your little 'spies' or did you come on that conclusion on your own?" Kurama questioned as Naruto hummed. Jiraiya might have been the biggest pervert in the Elemental nation, but he was a great spy master, a skill Naruto learned and was now using to great effect. He might not have had the chance to run Jiraiya spy network, he managed to build his own network, using a collection of Shadow Clones and spies, he knew where to get information.
"And you gonna let her become part of that cesspool of an organization? She's way too naïve to realize just how messed up Vought and it's Sup are." Kurama stated as Naruto nodded, agreeing with him. Naruto had thought much on this, and he had made his decision. It was time he started to undermine Vought and he'd start with creating his own little organization and for that he'd need members.
"I think it's time I go out and get our first recruit." Naruto stood up as he grabbed his mask. It was time to crash a party.
