Yo! Back here with another chapter for you guys! It's small, but it's a start lol. Now, let me say a few things about Naruto in this story. He is more of a jokester at times, despite his powerful abilities, but as the story goes on, you'll see why he acts the way he does, and that primarily has to do with the war. For example, Kakashi took up reading smut and being late as a coping mechanism for his experience in the war. Naruto is similar. I'll explore that in later chapters.

I'll let you guys stew on that for now, see you next chapter.

"How about we call ourselves 'The Justice League!'" Annie rolled her eyes at that name as she looked down from the roof of the building they were on, all the while Naruto sat on the ledge and swung his legs. It was currently nighttime, and the buildings lit up the whole city.

"It's literally just the two of us…" Annie pointed out, causing him to take a thinking pose before he snapped his fingers.

"Oh! How about 'The Avengers!'" He asked her excitedly to which she gave him a blank look.

"What exactly are we 'avenging'? Sounds too villainous." She countered as Naruto sighed before he hummed.

"What about 'The Guardians of the Gal – No, that sounds cheesy." Naruto stopped himself, who knew coming up with a team name was hard?

"We'll think of something," Annie stated, of that she had no doubt.

"I mean, we can always call ourselves ANBU." Naruto pointed out as Annie scoffed. That was the first name he had suggested and when she asked him what it meant she initially shot it down.

"We are NOT naming our team Special Assassination and Tactical Squad." Annie was firm on that. They were supposed to be heroes for justice, not a bunch of assassins! Naruto sighed before he stiffened. Being an almost godlike super-powered human had blessed him with man powers, one of which was superb hearing.

"Car crash nearby." He spoke as he turned to look right and narrowed his eyes. Annie raised an eyebrow at that.

"Can you fly?" Naruto questioned her as she blinked at that. Fly? No, she was sure that she couldn't.

"My powers utilize electricity before condensing it and firing it in a focused blast." She explained as Naruto looked at her as he outstretched his arms.

"There is electricity all around you in the atmosphere. It might not be much, but you should be able to focus on it and use it to fly." Naruto reasoned as she blinked at that. That… actually sounded doable.

"But atmospheric electricity isn't that strong, nor is it in large quantities for me to absorb. Unless there's a thunderstorm." She countered as Naruto raised a finger and shook it left and right.

"My dear, I once knew a man who could pull water straight from the atmosphere, in massive quantities no less! And that is harder to do than pulling electricity. The key is to focus." Naruto informed her with a chuckle before he took a step back, well, more like a massive leap backward as he gracefully landed on the next building.

"Come on! We gotta go save some people!" He shouted at her as he turned and began to run, jumping from building to building. Annie shook her head. She'd have to try her hand at trying to fly like he suggested.

"Maybe I can absorb it, and fire the energy from my hands and feet in small continuous blasts…" She said to herself before she began to run after the blond man with the Fox mask. Many people didn't know that her powers also included super strength, durability, and other physical attributes; thus, running and jumping over buildings was a cakewalk.

"But he could easily outrun me." She thought to herself. Naruto was fast, very fast. No, he was THE fastest man in the world. The speed at which he could cover distances was almost instant. No, it WAS instant.

At the scene a few minutes later:

Translucent didn't know what hit him. His day had started out as usual. Some paperwork, talking with some paper pushers, saving some folks here and there. You know, the usual. And then he was enjoying his time, nude, in the bathroom peeking at the women that came and went, until some skinny boy came in and planted some sort of device.

"What the fuck…" He groaned as he came back to his senses. Ah yes, he was about to beat the shit out of that kid, Hughie, with a TV before something violently slammed into him. Now, with his skin being so tough, he could easily tank a car or a train. He'd live, with no permanent damage.

"Hughie, run!" He heard someone call out as his eyes focused on the newcomer.

"What the fuck, you just rammed me with a car!" Translucent shouted as the bearded man with a crowbar grinned.

"Oh, I'm gonna do a lot more than ram you with a car, you invisible shit." The man as he readied the crowbar. However, he received a punch to the face, but he stood his ground as he and instead spat some blood onto Translucent.

"Oh, fuck you!" Translucent shouted as the man smirked. Translucent threw another punch, but this time the man was ready. He grabbed the incoming punch and spat blood on it, but in turn, received another punch to the face. He caught another punch and spat blood on the other hand.

"Well, not so invisible are you now?" The man smirked, his mouth bloodied, but his eyes showed barely contained rage.

"Butcher!" Hughie shouted at the man as he tried to help, temporarily causing the man's attention to turn to him.

"I told you to fucking run dammit!" Butcher shouted at the boy, however, Translucent took the chance and headbutted the man, causing Butcher to stumble backward.

"Fucking ballocks." Butcher gritted through the pain as he held his head in pain. He was seeing stars at how hard he had been hit in the head. He shouted in pain as a felt Translucent delivered a strong kick to his gut.

"Did you honestly think that you could take on me? My skin is diamond hard! Nothing can get through my skin! Let alone your fucking hands." Translucent boasted as he sent another kick to Butcher. Hughie for his part had frozen up, hyperventilating as he saw Translucent delivery kick after kick to the downed man.

"Nothing you say. How about this." Translucent blinked before he felt something pierce through his right shoulder, sending him launching backward the wall with the force behind the throw.

"AHHAAA!" He let out an ear-shattering yell as he was pinned to the wall, his invisibility ability falling, leaving his butt naked for the world to see. Looking to his right shoulder, he saw a black rod of some sort lodged into his shoulder.

"Jeez, cover yourself up, you pervert." He looked forward and his eyes widened. Standing before him was Fox, his mask and all, as he stood there, arms crossed.

"F-Fox." Translucent stuttered out as the man looked around him.

"Fox? I don't see any foxes here. Oh, you mean me!" Fox stated as he pointed at himself as the three looked at him like he was crazy. Naruto for his part looked toward the downed man.

"Butcher, right?" Fox asked as he walked over to the man and extended a handout. But the said man spat some blood onto the ground and glared at him.

"Fuck you supe," Butcher responded as he stood up on his own, leaving Fox to sigh. Annie soon arrived, a bit out of breath.

"C-Can you please…slow down?" She huffed out as she leaned forward, her hands on her knees taking in deep breaths. Naruto chuckled as he looked at her.

"Well, either work out more or learn how to fly." He advised as she sent him a light glare before she turned her attention to the damaged store. A young man was hyperventilating, a bearded man was bleeding from his mouth and barely standing, and Translucent was pinned to the wall, nude. And standing in the middle of the store was Naruto, arms crossed. She couldn't see his face on account of his mask, but she knew that he was grinning.

"I'm not even going to ask…" She said with a sweat drop as Naruto began to laugh. While the two engaged in their conversation, Butcher hobbled over to the pinned Translucent, who was still in a state of shock at actually being pierced.

"What the fuck is this thing made out of?" Butcher questioned himself as he lifted one of his hands up and attempted to take hold of it. However, before he could, the black rod retracted from Translucent's flesh, causing him to scream at the sudden pain and the blood leaking out of his injury. The rod flew back and into Naruto's arm and up his sleeve.

"That is for me to know and you to never find out," Naruto answered for him, having heard him. Butcher sent him a glare.

"Oh, just cause you fancy yourself a hero think you can keep your little skeletons in your closet?" Butcher questioned him, his hatred for supe's showing. Naruto raised an eyebrow behind his mask at that.

"Fancy myself a hero? No, I think I am a hero." Naruto responded with another set of chuckle before he turned his attention to the young man. Walking over to him, he kneeled down and tilted his head.

"You ok, kid?" Naruto questioned as Hughie blinked his eyes rapidly before realizing that he was looking at the vigilante Fox.

"H-Holy shit. Fox. It's Fox! Oh, thank god." Hughie let out a sigh of relief. He didn't trust Vought or their supes a lot right now, but Fox was a whole different story. The said vigilante nodded his head as he patted Hughie on the shoulder before he stood up and walked over to Translucent, who was trying to back himself up to the wall in order to save himself. Any man that could make Homelander bulk and bleed was someone he did NOT want to fuck with!

"You know, you quite possibly have the lamest superpower I have ever heard of," Naruto said casually as Translucent found himself in a corner and fell down with Naruto squatting right in front of him.

"I mean, your skin is made out of some kind of carbon that makes you hard as diamond. Beyond your other abilities such as super-human durability, you know, the generic stuff that most superhumans have, you're not all that tough. Anyone with sensing abilities can see you coming. Add to the fact that you have to be nude to utilize your abilities even fully; you're just a one-trick pony." Naruto explained as Translucent looked at him bewildered.

"W-What?" Was all he could say as Naruto chuckled and stood up and looked towards Butcher.

"So, why exactly did you ram a car into the store and fight Mr. Transnaked over there?" Naruto questioned Butcher who frowned as he walked over to Translucent and delivered a brutal kick to the man's face, knocking him out cold.

"Well, I guess big shots like you aren't very aware of the shit that sick fucks like these assholes are up to. So, we'll be on our merry way to deal with him." Butcher answered as Naruto just gave him a flat look. Annie frowned as she walked over and stood next to Naruto.

"Hey, he just saved your life. No need to be such an ass." She came to Naruto's defense with a glare of hers directed at the breaded man, who rolled his eyes.

"Oh, I'm sorry, did I offend your supped-up boyfriend over here? Well fuck you too." Butcher responded as he tied up Translucent before dragging his body over the car's trunk.

"A little help over here Hughie!" He shouted at Hughie, who quickly scurried to his feet and walked over to the man before helping him load up Translucent into the trunk.

"W-What are we going to do with him?" Hughie questioned him hesitantly. Butcher looked towards him before he sent a glance towards the two other supes in the store. Hughie followed his glance before he scoffed and smiled a little.

"Well, I mean, Fox isn't a supe, he's a vigilante," Hughie said, defending the masked man. Butcher gave him a glare that told him to shut up, which he promptly did.

"You know, we are still here!" Annie shouted at the two. Hughie nervously chuckled while Butcher didn't bother as the two entered the car before it backed out of the store and off they went, leaving behind the two vigilantes. The two stood there before Naruto brought his fist into his open palm.

"I got it! We'll call ourselves…the X-Men!" He exclaimed as Annie's eyes twitched before she brought a fist of her own up and shacked him in the back of his head.

"How can you think about team names in a situation like this?" She questioned him as Naruto massaged his head.

"You didn't have to hit me!" He whined as she shook her head and looked around.

"What now?" She questioned him as Naruto shrugged.

"I don't know." He joked as her eye twitched again at that. Naruto saw her frown before he raised his hands in defense.

"Kidding, just kidding. I got a Shadow Clone of mine tailing them. Once they get to their location, we'll know. For now, let's get out of here before the cops show up." He stated as Annie nodded and the two-left scene. Whatever had happened here was something the two were very much invested in.

"So, did you learn how to fly yet?" She rolled her eyes at that.

And so, Naruto and Annie finally meet Billy and Hughie. Now, I want you guys to give me good ideas for the name of Naruto's team. Because I can totally be generic and give them a simple name, but I want a kickass one. So, review away!

And yes, I know, Billys is an ass, but that's literally his nature lol. He doesn't like supes, another that's a supe is a potential enemy to him. And in the show, it took him a long time before he even trusted Annie or any of the other supes that were helping him. So, with Naruto in the mix, Billy will have to open up to some degree and trust the masked man.
