The guardians were gathered at the pillars. Cruise and the scouts had returned with word of the human's whereabouts. It didn't sound good. Cruise stepped forward to Chief Zephyr, who stood perched over the ledge.

"Cruise, did you find the humans?" He asked.

Cruise nodded his head.

"Yeah, chief," he said.

"We spotted them near the the pass. They're heading for the city."

The other guardians gasped upon hearing his report. Some of them stood up and gazed in shock.

"Are you certain?" Zephyr asked, curiously.

Cruised nodded his head. Causing chatter to erupt among the Guardians.

Elena, Skylar, Migs, Luna, And Neko flew down from their nest, landing behind the Guardians. Elena slid off her brothers back. She then glanced up to the council meeting.

"Their probably after the city's artifacts!" One of them said.

A guardian turned and looked up at Chief Zephyr.

"Chief, we knew this would happen!" He said.

"The humans are going to steal from the city!"

"We should drive them out!" Another proclaimed.

"Yes, I second that!"

Elena gasped.

"Oh, no," Skylar said, glancing up to his sister.

Elena shook her head. She couldn't just stand by and let this happened. She walked into the council circle and came up before Chief Zephyr.

"Chief, Zephyr." she said.

Chief Zephyr glanced down at the princess.

"Princess Elena." he greeted her.

"Please, Chief Zephyr," she pleaded with him.

"There must be another way."

"I wished there was, your majesty," he said.

"But I'm afraid we can't afford to take any chances."

"But we can't just attack them!" Elena insisted.

Cruise glanced sternly back at the princess.

"Just who's side are you on, princess?" He asked, turning to her.

Zephyr glanced down at Cruise.

"Cruise," he said.

"I'm not choosing sides," Elena insisted to Cruise.

"I'm only looking out for the everyone's well being. As Princess of Vallestrella, I have a responsibility to protect all Jaquins."

"And as Guardians of the valley, we have a duty to protect the Maruvian's city!" Cruise argued, bluntly.

"You humans have been stealing from the valley for years. All you ever care about is greedy hands on."

Elena was taken back at those words.

"Enough!" Zephyr roared as she stood up over the ledge.

Cruise glanced back at the chief. He the narrowed his head, glancing away sternly. Zephyr looked up to the other Guardians.

"The council will now decide on the matter," He announced.

"All those in favor of driving out the humans."

Much to her dismay, Elena saw the Guardians hold up their paws in favor of attacking. Cruise and his sister both raised their paws.

"I'm sorry, your Majesty." Zephyr said, turning to the princess.

Elena narrowed her head.

Elena was laying over the edge of nest. She stared sullenly over the jungle at the sunset in the distance. She thought about what cruise said. About all humans being greedy and only caring about anything they could take.

But that couldn't be true. Not all humans were like that.

Elena suddenly heard the sound of wings flapping in the wind. She looked back and saw Migs fly in and land in the middle of the nest. Elena turned to him.

"Well?" She asked.

Migs sighed.

"I'm sorry, Elena," he said.

"I tried."

Princess Elena frowned and narrowed her head.

"Zephyr is preparing the war party." Migs said, glancing back at Skylar, Migs and Luna.

"They're attacking at nightfall."

Neko, Skylar and Luna stood up in awe.

"What?" Skylar said.

"Say what now?" Luna asked, curiously.

"They can't do this." Neko exclaimed.

"There's nothing we can do, Neko," Migs reminded them.

"The council has decided."

Skylar narrowed his head.

"There must be another way." Skylar said.

Elena turned and walked to the edge of the nest. She narrowed her eyes as she thought to herself. What would father and mother do?

Elena had always been by her parents side. She had grew up, watching them rule Vellestrella. Verogo had taught her how to be a good ruler. All the while, Mariana had taught how to be a graceful queen. To show affection and love to all one's subjects.

It was then she remembered something. She widened her eyes in realization.

"Maybe there is!" she said, glancing back at Migs, Skylar, Luna and Neko.

"What do you mean?" Migs asked curiously.

"You remember when that Butterfrog and those Flaringos were having that dispute?" Elena asked.

Neko chuckled.

"Oh, yeah, I remember," he insisted.

"Man, he was pestering dad for weeks about it."

"Papa managed to use a diplomatic means to get them to come to an understanding," She explained.

"Maybe if we tried talking to the humans, we can come to one as well."

The four jaquins glanced anxiously at each other. The very idea of talking to the humans sounded absurd. Let along dangerous. Not only that, but the humans would never listen to them.

"With all due respect, princess," Migs said, turning back to her.

"But that will never work. Humans will never listen to us."

"They might if you had a human with you." she insisted.

"Hey, yeah," Neko said, looking back at everyone.

Migs shook his head.

"I don't know." he said.

"We have to at least try." Elena proclaimed.

Migs the sighed and shook his head.

"fine," he said.

Elena gasped with excitement.

"Thank you." She said.

Migs rolled his eyes, knowing what they were getting themselves into.

"I hope you know what your doing." he said.

"Trust me, I know." Elena insisted.

Migs came up next to her as she then climbed onto his back.

"Wings up, amigo's," Skylar said, glancing back at Migs, Luna and Neko.

The four jaquins spread their wings. They then leaped into the air and flew off to the Maruvian city.

Grimmel's men hacked through the foliage before they came out into clearing. Abraham turned back to the truck, gesturing for them to follow. Grimmel drove forward as the others followed. He came out into the clearing and pulled the truck over to a nearby pillar laying over the ground.

Fishlegs stood up, gazing up at the Maruvian temple.

"I can't believe it!" he said, squalling in excitement.

"We're here, we're here!"

"Yes, Fislegs," Hiccup said as he stood up.

"We know."

"Come on," Fishlegs said.

"We gotta check it out."

Fishlegs then leaped over the side of the truck. He fell flat over his stomach. only to get back up and head into the ruins.

"Fishlegs wait!" he said.

"Shouldn't we wait for..."

Astrid glanced, to Hiccup, smirking.

"There he goes." she said.

"What else is new?" Hiccup asked.

"Come on."

Hiccup and Astrid leaped over the side of the truck and followed Fishlegs into the ruins. Dr. DeLisle got out of the truck and saw Hiccup, Astrid and Fishlegs make their way into the ruins.

"Hiccup, where are going?" She called out to them.

Grimmel got out of the truck and walked around to her.

"Let them go, Dr." He said.

"This is a big moment for them."

He then glanced up to Hiccup and his friends.

"So why don't we let them have this moment?" He asked.
