It was a warm, peaceful evening in the countryside, and Goku and Chichi were cuddled close together, their faces inching ever closer despite the pleasant summer air. The sun set and with it, another day of training to prepare for the upcoming Cell Games drew to a close.
Goku hadn't said it out loud, but he knew that this could very well be his last night with Chichi. He smiled as he saw the stars come out, and the moonlight highlighting her gorgeous figure as she leaned in and kissed him. Chichi could feel his unspoken words, like there was something he wanted to stay but couldn't express it.
'What is it, Goku?' She gently inquired, her voice soft and filled with love.
Goku was silent for a few moments before finally speaking up. 'I just couldn't help but think how beautiful this moment was, and that things may never be this way again. I am leaving tomorrow and I don't know if I'll come back."
A tear came down Chichi's face. 'I know, Goku. That's why I wanted to spend this night with you, so that we could have memories of peace, before the storm hits.'
Goku could see in her eyes that she was scared, she was scared of losing him, scared of the inevitable. Without a word, he embraced her, the two intertwining their arms together in one motion, as their hearts beat together in perfect harmony.
Soon they were both lying in bed, their faces so close, yet still so far away from each other. Chichi was the first to break the silence. 'Let's make the most of the time we have,' she whispered.
Goku didn't hesitate. He leaned in as their lips met passionately. His calloused, tan hands roamed all over her body, exploring every curve, every inch of her skin. His touch was like fire against her, his lips covering hers hungry for more.
He rolled over, still kissing her, and laid her down on the bed. His skills with his hands increased as he removed her clothes, piece by piece. His lips followed his hands, traveling up and down her bare skin, and leaving a trail of warmth and bliss behind him.
Chichi was lost in the moment, no longer scared but instead filled with a fiery passion. She pushed past his limits as their bodies moved in harmony with each other, re-enacting millennia-old rituals, as if trying to recreate the stars in the night sky.
The night much too quickly disappeared into the gentle light of morning. As the sun shined through the window, Goku and Chichi lay entwined in each other's arms. Goku smiled as he realized they had made a memory they would remember as long as they lived.
Brushing a lock of hair away from her face, he kissed her forehead. 'Let's make a promise.' he said. 'No matter what happens today, I will come back for you. I will come back and this will be our starting point.'
'Promise.' Chichi replied, finally allowing the tears in her eyes to two of them dressed and made the sad goodbyes to each other, knowing that they had just shared one of their most precious moments together, and who knows what adventures today would bring.
Goku and Gohan left the house, ready for the Cell Games, and Chichi stayed behind, lending her hope and strength for Goku, sending her prayerful wishes for his safe return.
