AN: who's ready for this former camper to make their appearance?

Chapter 11

Normal POV

June

9:00 AM

It was only the first week of June and the weather forecast was already saying that temperatures would be as high as 40 degrees.

Staying cool anywhere was going to be tricky for everyone, but if air conditioning was provided anywhere then people would be staying in.

" CODY!!! CODY!!!! " calls someone currently looking around the parking lot of a media office building " Cody you left before I could hug you, " says the overly obsessed person continuing her search.

Meanwhile, Cody was crouched down in his work clothes hiding from this crazy chick he met years ago while interning at a social media company in Vancouver along with going to college.

" How the fuck did Sierra even find me? " he whispered looking to see where she was " I'm already late for the meeting too " Cody breathes only imagining how pissed his boss will be that he misses the mandatory meeting that everyone needed to be there for.

" CODY!!! " Sierra calls "Maybe we can get some coffee if you just say something " she adds.

Taking a breath Cody has no choice but to quietly and carefully escape the parking lot in hopes, he doesn't get spotted.

Slowly walking to the nearest exit "Oh please let me get out of here alive " he whispers currently walking behind a row of cars just then his phone started ringing.

" THERE YOU ARE CODY!!!! " calls Sierra running towards the sound of his ringing phone. Cody comes out of hiding and starts running out of the parking lot while screaming...

" AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!! "

Making a sprint to the exit and down the street...

" CODY!!! " screams Sierra running after him " I MISSED YOU SO MUCH!!!! " she calls from the distance.

Cody's POV

WHAT IN THE HELL!!!

I can't believe she followed me to Toronto, I thought moving here after college I was sure I would never see her again.

That internship was hard enough to get through without her on me or stalking me. This chick was crazy.

Turning my head back to see how close Sierra was I gasped seeing her not far away " PLEASE JUST LEAVE ME ALONE!!!! " I shout picking up my speed as I turned a corner.

" But our fans wanna know what our future plans are??? " she asks only to make my eyes open up " She's crazy " I breathe turning to go down an alley in hopes I lose her this time...

" CODY CAREFUL YOU'LL GET HURT " calls Sierra following me but at this point I didn't care I just needed to get away from her.

I managed to come out of the alley first then I turn left to see it busy and just as I was running a tow truck was picking up a car with a flat just about to leave.

" It's better than nothing " I breathed rushing to the truck, opening the door quickly I hop in and close the door then slide down...

" CODY WHERE DID YOU GO? " shouts Sierra running down the street, seeing her gone I sigh in relief " At last, " I said practically melting in the seat...

" Can I help you? "

Sitting up quickly I see the driver and he looked like he was about to kill me "Listen dude I'll give you 100 bucks if I can ride with you to wherever it is you are going " I said looking out the window " alright...off to New Life Auto Shop " he says hoping into the driver seat.

I couldn't have been more relieved than to hear his answer, I needed to get out of here.

As the truck started " Your seriously saving me right now man " I said finally relaxing as we started moving "You look like hell dude " He laughs looking at my current state " Yeah but also I'm probably gonna get into big trouble with my boss for not showing this morning " I explain knowing I'm in for it tomorrow or rather if I even have a job tomorrow.

" Well shit happens...my name is Tye by the way," he says introducing himself " Cody " I replied smiling at Tye as he drove...

Duncan's POV

10:30 AM

Oh man was it burning hot in the shop, I knew it was going to be a hot day but this was like walking in a dry dessert hot.

We were all practically working in our undershirts and we were all sweating like crazy, if I were to arrive home like this Courtney would no doubt be grossed out and I wouldn't blame her.

Today was also her first day of extra classes, after we dropped off Serenity at school I then took Courtney she's only taking 2-morning classes so that we can still have some summer fun.

Speaking of summer fun Geoff called me a few days ago saying he's planning a day at the lake with everyone, both Courtney and myself were in. And what better way to cool off from this heat than to go swimming in cool water?

Wiping the sweat from my forehead I already felt tired and the day wasn't even halfway done.

" What the hell!!! " exclaims Tony walking over to where I was working on a tire change " What? " I ask trying to breathe but the heat in the garage was insane, how in the hell could it get so hot?

" I've sweated before but not like this," says Marco wailing his forehead with a rag " Is it too early to drink a cold beer right now? " asks Joey rolling out from under the car next to us.

" Uh yeah it kinda is and are you asking your boss to drink at work " I reply raising an eyebrow and hearing the most ridiculous question with an obvious answer "Okay this heat is getting to us," says Tony leaning against a car.

* Honk * * Honk *

Sighing heavily I look at the back where of the shop where I see at the gate our tow truck was wanting entry, only pain in the ass thing is that one of us had to go pull the gate open under the hot sun.

" Sure along me to go open the gate " I grunt walking to the back "Thanks" they all answer together not wanting to even move from their spots. Shaking my head I brace for the hot rays that are about to hit.

* Honk * * Honk *

" Ah shut up Tye," I said unlocking the gate " And what took you so long to pick up a car with a flat? " I ask as I open the gate.

Once Tye pulled in he goes in and goes park the car, once inside I close the gate but just as I'm about to go up to the truck, the door opens and Tye comes out with a large slurpee.

" It's hot," he says before taking a sip and now I was feeling pissed "You had better have brought one for each of us or your ass is fired, " I said getting hotter by the second.

" No worries there's plenty for everyone," says another voice from inside the truck...

" Oh yeah he bought everyone big slurpees, " said Tye "And he gave me 100 to drive him anywhere " he adds making my eyes open...

11:00 AM

" Man if I hadn't gotten out of there I would not be able to get away from her " explains Cody before taking a sip of his Slurpee.

While sitting at my desk cooling off with a Slurpee, hearing the whole story of his morning about running away from his crazy admirer who has followed him.

" She sounds insane man...you didn't sleep with her, did you? " I asked trying to picture it, back on TDI Cody wasn't exactly a lady's man. He tried so hard to be smooth with all the girls, especially Gwen who practically would kick his ass whenever he would try to make a move on her.

" What no way she was too intense and literally way into me she's scarey" explains Cody leaning back on my couch "She's a reporter for a show called Celebrity Manhunt and she's got a blog " he explains nervously.

Looking up at Cody I frown " I'm warning you now if she ends up here I'm gonna give you one hell of a beat down " I said in a serious tone "Don't forget some of us have kids that we don't want to be exposed " I add looking stern.

" Trust me I lost her there's no way I'd ever let your kids be exposed to that " answers Cody nervously "Good last thing either of us want is Chris learning about them " I replied shaking my head.

Sighing heavily Cody looks up at the ceiling of my office " I just hope now that I still have a job to go to tomorrow I had to make up a convincing excuse for missing both the meeting and work today " he sighs shaking his head " damn Sierra " he adds frowning.

" Anyway, I got work to do, " I said before finishing the rest of my Slurpee " Duncan thanks for letting me lay low here...if there's anything I can help with just ask " offers Cody which was pure gold to my ears...

" Well there is something you could do, " I said smiling evilly at him which made him a bit nervous...

Courtney's POV

3:35 PM

Wow, this heat is something. Even today I'm wearing a sundress and I still felt hot.

After I finished my classes I picked up Serenity from school, and we made our way home.

I seriously hope this heat would go down a bit, with it being so hot out I worried that it would be too much for me and Serenity to walk in.

" Mommy can we get a popsicle please, " asks Serenity looking up at me as we stood at the crosswalk "You know that sounds like a good idea " I answer smiling at her plus enjoying something cold would be nice "Yay " she cheered "Can daddy come too? ".

Thinking for a moment I think to myself that I think Duncan would like something cool "Let's go ask if Daddy wants to come " I said as the signal for crossing started blinking.

As we got to the other side a familiar-looking car pulls up "Hey Courtney " greets Gwen smiling at us while Louis was sitting in the back " Hi Gwen, were just heading to Duncans " I clarify " do you guys wanna ride... it's a bit hot " offers Gwen while feeling the cool " thank you we would appreciate it " I answer as we got into the van.

10 Minutes Later

As soon as we arrived at the auto shop both Gwen and Louis came with us.

It looks like it's a very busy day for them today "Wow this is something " says Gwen looking at the shop as we walked toward Duncan's office " I know he's really working hard " I said glancing at everyone working.

Just then we heard a familiar shriek-like scream coming from the back...

" Dude we said to not let go of the hose " says someone...

Both Gwen and I look at each other momentarily before we all walk to where the commotion was coming from "What are they doing? " asks Gwen curiously "No clue " I answered turning the corner but when we did were all surprised to see Duncan, Tony and Joey dripping wet.

I bite my bottom lip to prevent myself from laughing " Hi daddy " greets Serenity waving at Duncan " hi everyone " breathed Gwen just as I was about to say something I see Cody holding a hose " Hi Courtney Hi Gwen " he greets us...

While Louis and Serenity are entertained watching the cars get washed, Cody explains to us why he's been hiding at the shop along with him by accident letting go of the hose while they were washing some cars, both Gwen and I couldn't help but think of the same thing...

" What the hell Cody? " said Gwen rolling her eyes " I agree " I add crossing my arms " I know I just needed to hide from her " he says but then smiles looking at Gwen like when he use to back on the island.

" So what brings you both and the kids here? " asks Duncan looking at me " Serenity wanted to know if you could come get a popsicle with us " I answered smiling at him " I definitely would " answered Duncan smiling.

Just then we hear something...

" CODY!!! HELLO HAS ANYONE SEEN MY CODY-KINS "

All our eyes open up hearing a voice...

" Oh no " breathes Cody about to go hide but Duncan quickly grabs him " you aren't going anywhere " he says holding him by his shirt...

" Hello...OH MY GOODNESS!!! NO WAY!!! "

Looking nervously at the door standing there was this very tanned purple hair chick with a look of over excitement.

" I can't believe it Courtney, Duncan and Gwen " she says smiling more " this is so exciting...oh Cody " she adds running into the office to grab him in a tight hug.

" Oh where are my manners I'm Sierra " she introduces herself...
