AN: About to get dramatic for another couple

Courtney's POV

8:00 AM

1 week Later

Tuesday

Duncan just left for work and it was going to be another hot summer day.

Serenity was eating her breakfast quietly while I washed a few dishes, " Mommy can we go to the park today? " she asks before eating another spoonful of cereal.

Glancing at the balcony door for a moment to see the sun, it would be nice to go out. " That's a good idea but when it starts getting too hot we're gonna leave so we don't overheat okay " I explain looking back at Serenity "Okay" she answers continuing to finish her cereal.

I better dress her up in light airy clothing.

Just as I was turning the faucet off my phone started ringing, "Mommy your phone " points out Serenity.

Looking at the table I walk over to answer...

" I wonder who could be calling this early? " I asked picking it up, when I looked at the screen I'm surprised to see whose name is on the screen as I answer...

Me: Good morning...Heather?

For a few seconds, I hear deep inhales and heavy swallowing...

Me: Heather? Are you okay?

Heather: Um...I'm sorry to call you so early but I figure you're up...and maybe I could talk to you

Me: Uh yeah...is everything okay? You don't sound good?

Heather: * Sniff * I'll admit I've been up all night...I'm just really angry...

My eyes open up hearing the last part...

Me: What's going on?...

Heather: I'm currently waiting for that idiot husband of mine to arrive with his father and brothers because last night I was sent a picture that could very well make me kill him...

Me: Oh my god??!!

Heather: Maybe I'll tell you about it another day...I wanted to ask you for a favour if it's okay

Me: Sure what do you need?

Heather: I don't want Miguel to be here for whatever is going to happen...especially when his dad arrives, can he spend the day with you and your daughter, please

Woah, it must be something really bad for Heather to not want her son to be around. But I understand she's protecting him.

Me: Yeah, no problem. We're going to the park today

Heather: Perfect, I'll be sending him over shortly and thank you

Me: Alright we'll be waiting

After hanging up I felt like the wind got knocked out of me for some reason, whatever was going on between Heather and Alejandro it must be serious.

Looking at my engagement and wedding rings, I caress them in hopes that Duncan and I don't go through any more issues that will test us. After finally dealing with my parents together I just want us to be happy.

" Mommy, I finish," says Serenity making me turn to look up seeing her bowl empty " alright " I replied picking up her bowl and spoon " Who call? " she asks "It was Miguel's mommy he's gonna be with us today okay " I explain going over to the sink.

" Why is Miguel coming? " Serenity asks, " his mommy asked if he could come by and since we're going to the park you both can play together " I explain finding this too difficult to explain what was going on between Heather and Alejandro, "So today please be nice to him okay " I add.

8:45 AM

I got us ready and dressed in light clothing. I wore a light blue sundress with flip flops and Serenity in a one-piece yellow romper with sandals along with her hair in a ponytail.

I also packed a bag taking sunscreen, a water bottle and a few snacks for the kids.

We walk outside to the front of the building, and just arriving is a fancy-looking Benz Royce car, " I think this is him " I said holding Serenity's hand " Where's Miguel mommy? " she asks looking up at me, before I could answer the driver comes out then opens the back door " we've arrived young sir " says the driver and sitting in his seat was Miguel who looked a bit sad.

" Hello Miguel " I greet him smiling followed by him looking at us then taking the seat belt off and coming out of the car " Hola Señorita and Serenity " he greets me.

" Your backpack and soccer ball," said the driver assisting him " Thank you, Ben," says Miguel holding the ball then standing by us " Mrs.Stone this is from his mother," says Ben handing me an envelope "Thank you " I answer accepting the letter.

After the driver left I smile at Miguel but all he does is stare with a down expression or roll his soccer ball in his hands.

Opening the envelope inside was a letter which I take out to read its contents...

" Thank you for watching Miguel, I appreciate it. I'll call you to let you know if anything changes, I hope he has fun with Serenity at the park and I've included something in case the kids want a cool treat,

This is probably the sincerest I've ever seen Heather be, looking inside the envelope my eyes open up to see a 100-dollar bill.

This was too much but I guess to her lots of things start at high prices, putting the envelope away in my bag I look at the kids "Alright let's go have fun guys " I announce as we start walking to the park.

" Yay I can't wait " exclaims Serenity happily smiling "Yeah I guess it will be fun," said Miguel in a dull voice, getting concerned I hope being with us will cheer him up a bit.

Heathers POV

9:15 AM

I currently supervised all the staff pack up all of Alejandro's crap!

All his clothes, shoes, his sports memorabilia, his office, gym equipment, movies, awards, photos of himself with celebrities and his cars pulled out of the garage. He could live in them for all I cared.

" I want everything of his packed and put outside in the driveway and if he shows up don't stop " I ordered walking to another room "Even if you throw it out the windows I don't care how it all goes outside " I added checking my phone to see Courtney sent a message...

9:05 AM

Courtney: Hey just wanted to let you know Miguel is with us and we're headed to the park, talk to you later

Smiling at the message I couldn't be more than thankful to Courtney, I know it's last minute but I didn't want my son to be here to watch his two-timing piece of shit of a father get kicked out of the house.

For the past couple of months, Alejandro was working on a movie getting filmed in the Mediterranean, so he's gone now and then. I even suggested that me and Miguel flying out to be with him on his days off, but he said that it wouldn't be a good idea and that he would come home.

I had my suspicions for a while but I decided to do a little investigation for myself, and surprisingly everything was okay.

But then I get an email from my father-in-law's receptionist explaining that there's been a situation but that it's under control. As I read it more it ended with a photo that destroyed me.

My so-called faithful husband was photographed kissing another woman in broad daylight on the beach.

As soon as I saw it I immediately dialled that asshole and yelled at him, no matter what he said I didn't buy it one bit. Then he explained that he, his father and brothers were coming home immediately.

Then lastly I let him know that all his belongings will be outside when he arrives not letting him speak I hung up the call.

I went and sat in the living room for the time being...

1 Hour Later

" WHAT!!!! WHAT'S ALL MY STUFF DOING OUTSIDE!!! "

Slowly smiling hearing his reaction I was satisfied, I hope he has fun collecting it all by himself because I also told the staff to not help him...

" HEATHER!!! " he calls from down the hall but I didn't answer I just sat ignoring him...

" Hermano she's in here," says Carlos walking into the living room "Oh girl your evil " he chuckles "Only when it's necessary " I answered turning my head to the entrance and seeing Alejandro walk in not too happy.

"All my belongings are outside," he says walking into the living room, " I thought I'd take out the unwanted garbage and junk in this house, " I said smiling at him " I tried to tell you that I wanted to explain the photo, " says Alejandro standing in front of me.

" Hahahaha...well Al looks like your how they say in the dog house " laughs Jose walking into the room with his father Pedro "All right enough we're all here to discuss the matter at hand, " he says walking up to me.

" My dear daughter-in-law I understand that you have anger toward my son along with feeling the humiliation you are currently enduring, " says Pedro holding my hand.

Taking a deep breath I shake my head "Where's Miguel? " asks Alejandro taking a seat beside me "Move your ass away from me " I hissed very angry " I refuse to...where is my son, " he asks as I cross my arms " he's on a playdate right " I answer quickly " or would you prefer he sees his lying unfaithful father " I add.

God I just wanted him out of this house and contact my lawyer so that I could divorce Alejandro immediately.

Alejandro's POV

I tried explaining what happened but Heather won't listen to me.

While walking on the beach my female co-star who was the main female actress in the movie, said that our chemistry during filming feels so intense and real. And that she was developing feelings for me, but as flattered as I was I told her I was a married man with a son.

And as if that wasn't enough for her to understand that I was not available, she replied by saying " I don't mind being a stepmother or if you wanted a secret relationship".

Hearing that response shocked me and as politely as I could I let her down.

Then as I was about to leave she kissed me by force and without knowing, paparazzi were close by and took multiple pictures. When I heard about the photos I immediately contacted my agents to let them know of the situation and to be sure the photos were never published.

Thankfully they were capable of fixing it all then I informed my father about what occurred. Shortly after my brothers messaged me giving me a hard time. But I also needed to talk to my wife.

" Heather mi amor...I know you're angry about this but I never have been unfaithful to you " I said looking at her " I could never leave you and our son alone...have I not proven so much to you and I love you you're the only woman I want " I add reaching for her hand but the second I touched her she pulls away.

Just then I hear laughing from Jose who is getting me very upset "What's so funny...you think I enjoy having this friction between my wife and me " I said approaching him "Yes I do because face facts hermanito what made you think your marriage would last " answers Jose grinning.

" ¡¡¡¡Eso es suficiente para los dos!!! ( that's enough the both of you!!!! ) " says Father glaring at us both "Now your marriage are you both able to salvage it " he adds looking at Heather.

" Heather please you have to believe when I say - "

" I want a divorce, Alejandro...Not only because my trust in you is gone but I never wanted to get married in the first place...- " breathes Heather standing from the couch as I stare at her stunned "We only got married because I got pregnant and so that your families reputation wasn't dishonoured but now I'm done and I no longer have to suffer " she says taking her rings off and throwing them at me.

Hearing the rings fall felt as if my soul left my body. She couldn't have meant what she said.

" Excuse me but I need to be alone " breathed Heather before leaving the room but just as I was about to follow she turns around to face me "Don't follow me " she adds quickly walking out.

" Damn that was harsh I'm sorry hermanito," says Carlos placing a hand on my shoulder " Did you not know? " he asks as I look on the ground to look where the rings landed.

As I walk over to pick up the rings Father begins talking again...

" Hijo, sé que no estás satisfecho con lo que dijo, pero este divorcio no puede ir, sabes bien que nuestra familia no mide... ( Son, I know that your not pleased with what she said, but this divorce cannot go you know well our family doesn't belie- ) " I growl loud enough to make him stop talking.

Facing father I finally say what I've wanted to say for a long time...

" He tenido suficiente padre... ¡Estoy harto de que nuestro apellido sea tu principal prioridad! ¡Todo este Tiempo no tenía ni idea de que el amor de mi vida estaba sufriendo en Silencio debido a nuestra familia! ( I have had enough father…I'm sick and tired of our family name being your main priority!!! All this time I had no idea the love of my life was suffering in silence because of our family!!!! ) " I exclaimed getting more angry by the minute...

" Mierda, mi hermanito finalmente habló ( Shit, my little brother finally spoke ) " laughs Jose but he just made my anger rise even more " And you..." I said rushing over to him and giving him the punch in the face that he so rightfully deserved even if it meant breaking the family code.

" ¡BASTA DETENEROS A LOS DOS! ( ENOUGH STOP IT THE BOTH OF YOU!!!!) " shouted Father angrily.

Jose held his cheek as I held my hand " That's for stabbing holes in my condoms " I growled at my brother " And even if she didn't get pregnant I still would have loved her no matter what " I add walking out of the living room so that I could get ice for my hand.

I wasn't going to give up on my marriage...someway I need to talk to Heather.

Courtney's POV

3:00 PM

The time spent at the park did Miguel some good, at first he sat with me for a bit while Serenity played but eventually, she convinced him to join her on the jungle gym which made him smile a little.

They played on the swings, and enjoyed a few snacks (crackers & cheese, carrots and apples ) then Miguel showed Serenity how to play soccer. It was a cute little play date they had.

Just before 12 a clock I felt it was getting hotter and decided that it would be best we leave, as we walked towards the entrance the ice cream truck arrived so I got them each a popsicle to enjoy while walking back.

It was a good thing we got back because the temperature rise more.

While Serenity and Miguel played in the living room I started preparing dinner which was going to be roasted chicken with Cesar salad and herb-fused rice.

" I hope Heather is okay. " I whispered to myself and as though on cue my phone buzzed "Well that was coincidental," I said picking up my phone to see a message from Heather...

Heather: Hey I hope everything is going okay. Is Miguel okay? Listen it's getting difficult here and I hate to ask for another favour but is it alright if Miguel spends the night? It just wouldn't be the best place for him to be, right now

I felt a lump in my throat, things must be bad if she's asking for this...

Me: Miguel is doing fine. He and Serenity had fun at the park and are currently playing together. And of course, it's no problem for him to spend the night.

Heather: Thank you very much, I'll send an overnight bag shortly with his things

Me: Perfect, let me know when they're close by so I could ring them up

Heather: Thank you once again, also congratulations on you and Duncan getting married. I wish you both happiness.

Lightly smiling at the last message, I put my phone on the countertop. I do hope things are okay.
