Few hours later
Harry and Ginny woke up after 2 hours of sleep. After waking up, they ate some of the chocolate they had brought in Honeydukes. They were still feeling a bit tired. But they decided to go to the Gryffindor Tower and get Teddy from the second years who had asked if they could look after him. Harry and Ginny both were very happy that they hadn't taken Teddy to Hogsmeade. They dreaded even thinking what could have happened otherwise.
On their way to the tower, Ginny asked Harry, "That wand you used in Hogsmeade, it was the Elder wand, wasn't it?" Harry nodded. Ginny then said, "If that is the elder wand, then what about the wand you kept inside Dumbledore's tomb?" Harry said, "That was a copy that Ollivander made after I asked him to make one. I replaced the real wand with that fake copy and have since then kept the real wand with me. I tried breaking it but it didn't break. Ollivander told me that it couldn't be broken because it was made out of several woods, with elder wood being used the most. That's why it is so powerful and said to be undefeatable." Ginny asked, "Does anyone else know about this?" Harry said, "No one else knows about it. The wand's allegiance can be changed very easily. Losing control and mastery over this wand is very easy. Dumbledore later agreed with me that keeping the wand with me, always hidden in the pouch was the best option we had. We hope that once I die, it will die with me." Ginny said, "That's a good plan."
They both reached Gryffindor Tower and found Teddy in the common room, playing with some of the first and second years. Teddy saw them coming and smiled at them, waving his arms towards them. Ginny picked him up and Teddy immediately grabbed her hair in his small hands, playing with it. Ginny laughed at that and said to Harry, "Just like his godfather. Obsessed with playing with my hair." Harry laughed and took him from her and lightly ticked him, making Teddy laugh. They then thanked the students for looking after Teddy. The students' said Teddy was fun and asked them if they could play with him later. Harry and Ginny said they will see when it could happen and then left the tower.
Half an hour later, they went to the great hall for dinner. After entering the great hall and sitting at the head table, Harry and Ginny looked towards the students. Everyone above 3rd year looked shaken, tired and weary. Remus looked dead tired, like he was about to collapse at any moment. The new moon was near and that was making things worse for him. Sirius and Marlene were sitting beside each other. Sirius's arm was wrapped around Marlene, whose head was on his shoulder. Lily and James were sitting beside each other as well, muttering something to each other. Peter looked as if he was deeply thinking something. Both Harry and Ginny didn't like that look on Peter's face, because they believed Peter was thinking of how to betray them.
They heard Dumbledore say, "I know all of you are very tired. What happened in Hogsmeade today was something none of us expected. Despite that, every single one of you showed bravery, courage and strength. The seventh years, you all used the Patronus charm wonderfully and helped them. But, none of it would have been possible if not for professor William and Taylors quick thinking and actions." A small applause started, which eventually turn into a huge ovation. A small blush came on both Harrys and Ginny's faces due to the ovation they got from students and professors alike. After it ended, Dumbledore said, "I have already talked with the Minister of Magic. These were rogue dementors, not the one under Ministry's control. Aurors have been tasked to look into this. But all professors agree that you all need to learn some basic defence charm and spells. Professor Williams and Taylor will teach you these spells." He looked towards them, silently asking them whether they agreed with it. Harry and Ginny nodded their approval. Dumbledore then said, "Tomorrow there are no classes. Take rest and eat chocolate. Madam Pomfrey will look after those who were severely affected."
Once the students left, the professors drew plans on what spells would be taught to the students and what extra defensive measures should be taken. In the end, it was decided that basic defensive charms like the disarming charm, stunning charm, tickling charm and other such charms would be taught to everyone. 5th and 6th years would be taught some offensive charms while 7th years would be taught as many charms and spells as they could.
