Floating Salmon: Gwen, Jasmine, Zoey, Cameron, Justin, Sam
Confused Bears: Alejandro, Beardo, Leonard, Tyler, Bridgette, Sugar
Episode 03: Balloon Bonanza
"Last time, on Total Drama Pahkitew Island!" Chris said, launching straight into the recap montage with a clip of Leonard and Gwen at the starting line of the previous challenge, the LARPer quickly losing hold of his boar and chasing after it. "The teams ran a super-slippery race," Gwen was shown slipping and falling as she tried to climb up the greased logs, then Sugar holding up their team's boar as she ran past Zoey and Justin, "while holding some very rare pork!"
"Beardo is an animal talker, sort of," the host said as the human soundboard was shown hugging their pig. "And Bridgette won it for the Confused Bears, and they also found a place to call home," the end of the challenge was shown, and the cave they were residing in was featured. "And the Floating Salmon had to say later to Dakota the Fame Monger," he finished over Chef carrying Dakota to the Cannon.
The montage ended there, the scene flashing to the smiling host standing by a TV that showed the final shot of Dakota. "Today's challenge is treacherous, deadly," Chris told the camera, "and unless you're doing it, hilarious!" He laughed. "Who will survive to play another day? And who will be sent home via Giant Cannon Airlines?" He pointed at the television, still displaying the Cannon of Shame. "Find out right here, right now, on Total! Drama! Paaaaaahkitew Island!"

The episode opened with a lifting tune as the scene faded into a close-up of Sam picking a blueberry out of a bush and putting it in his pouch.
"Have you checked if the blueberries are poisonous?" Cameron asked as he entered the scene with a pouch of his own.
"They're not white, yellow, or green, so I think they're safe to eat," Sam responded.
"I just wanted to make sure," Cameron said. "If we eat anything poisonous, we could suffer through diarrhea, blurred vision, and difficulty in breathing."
"That wouldn't be good," Sam said nervously. "How do you know so much about living without civilization?"
"Having been a bubble boy ever since birth, my mom took the liberty of homeschooling me and making me educationally-adept so I won't miss out on my studies," Cameron explained.
"Your mother sounds like a pretty nice woman," Sam complimented.
"She is, but her tendency to keep me overprotected and safe from danger has kept me in the house until now," Cameron added. "I signed up for the show to show her that I can do anything without getting killed."
"That's a great motivation for you to have. I don't usually get out that much since I'm more of an indoors person and prefer playing video games than playing outside," Sam admitted.
"So you're here because you want to branch out more?" Cameron wondered.
"My parents told me to be more productive and not focus on video games 24/7, so I came here for the opportunity to expand my friend group," Sam confessed.
Confessional: Sam
"My parents also said that they'd buy me the new gaming console if I make it to the merge," Sam added. "The Superstar Series S!"

The static cut to Alejandro and Beardo walking through the woods with goodies in their hands. "I appreciate your help in finding food for the team," Alejandro told Beardo.
Beardo responded by making an "Aww!" sound from an audience.
Alejandro raised an eyebrow at this, but carried on. "You don't have to constantly make noises and sound effects. What's stopping you from speaking, amigo?"
"Sorry. I just don't wanna say the wrong thing around everyone," Beardo finally spoke up to apologize.
"As long as it isn't sexist or racist, what you say won't bother us," Alejandro said.
"I'm not misogynistic," Beardo replied. "I just have trouble talking to people without making sound effects."
"Allow me to assist you with that, and in return, you'll do something for me as well," Alejandro suggested.
"I'm down with that," Beardo accepted. "Thanks."
Alejandro nodded in sympathy, but turned around so the human soundboard couldn't see his evil smile.
Confessional: Beardo
"It's really nice of Alejandro to help me. He seems like a really standup guy," Beardo considered deeply.
Confessional: Alejandro
"Beardo will be very useful in the future. If it comes to a vote, I will already have a solid voting bloc with one extra vote with me," Alejandro finished.
Confessionals End
A slower, more plodding tune began as the scene flashed to the cave. Leonard was sweeping the floor with a broom while Sugar and Tyler watched him seated.
"Amigos! Who's hungry?" the voice of Alejandro said as the scene panned over to him and Beardo holding up bags of food.
"Yee-haw!" Sugar celebrated and tackled Alejandro to the ground, making him grunt and glare at Sugar rampaging through the bag and pulling out a pear. "I can eat the legs off a table, and we ain't even got one."
"It appears you got more food than just berries," Leonard observed as he walked up to Beardo.
Tyler grabbed the bag and found bananas and cherries. "Bananas and cherries? Major potassium and strength boost!" he cheered.
Just as the jock bit off a piece of his banana, the hand of Sugar slapped him. "What was that for, Sugar?!" he asked in an upset tone.
"Don't be goin' about shovin' this into yer mouth just yet," Sugar said. "We gotta make sure we share the food first."
Bridgette arrived with a bucket in hand, earning the attention of her teammates. "I got freshwater from the stream!" she announced as the shot moved in closer to her. "I don't want us to get dehydrated during the challenge!"
"Awesome!" Tyler said, getting in-between her and Alejandro. "That is so epic. Here's a banana for you!" he told her with a smile, holding out the banana he took a bite out of.
"Thanks Tyler," Bridgette told him awkwardly at the sight of the banana, but still smiled.
Confessional: Tyler
"Ever since the last challenge, I can't get Bridgette out of my mind," Tyler said in the confessional. "I also can't get out sports, headbands, and Japanese game shows. They're just so entertaining like Bridgette."
Confessional Ends
"I can guarantee that this water will be refreshing," Alejandro said while looking at a flustered Bridgette.
"I tasted a bit of the freshwater, so what you're saying is correct," Bridgette said back.
"Not only did you find this cave, but you've provided for us as well," Alejandro continued. "I didn't want you to break your back all the time, so Beardo and I went foraging earlier just to help."
"That's so thoughtful of you two!" Bridgette complimented. "Hey, if you want help foraging tomorrow-"
"I'll forage! Tomorrow! With both of you two!" Tyler cut in suddenly and wrapped his arms around his teammates. "We're basically like a powerhouse team!"
"That would be great," Alejandro smiled, though this time, it was forced.
Confessional: Alejandro
"If I didn't know any better, I'd say Tyler's interested in Bridgette and is jealous of me being able to charm everyone around here," Alejandro realized. "He can start his own relationship however he wants. He, Bridgette, and everyone here will all fall in the end!" the arch villain claimed.

The scene cut to Justin sleeping on his bed. The eye candy was wearing a cucumber face mask and had a mini fan pointed at his hands.
Confessional: Justin
"I am on day five of my manicure," Justin explained. "To risk any more cuticle damage would be madness."
Confessional Ends
"Justin! Are you awake!" Zoey asked as she walked up to his bed.
Justin sighed in frustration at his manicure being interrupted. "I am now."
"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to interrupt you. I just wanted you to know that Cameron and Sam brought breakfast for us," Zoey said.
"Cool, but can you bring them up for me?" Justin asked. "My hands are in the middle of a manicure." He batted his eyelashes seductively at her in order to make it more effective.
"Of course. I wouldn't want to mess up your hands," Zoey giggled and left the treehouse.
Confessional: Zoey
"The guys back home are gorgeous, but Justin is hot and sweet," Zoey gushed. "Hot guys aren't a fantasy after all."
Confessional: Justin
"Before you call me lazy, just know that I never get to do most things because people will offer to do them for me first," Justin explained defensively.
Confessionals End
"Iiiiiit's challenge time!" Chris suddenly announced over the island's loudspeakers, the Salmons listening outside while eating. "All butts to the meeting area in five!"
The shot cut to Justin standing at the front of the team. "Let's go before we get penalized!" he told his teammates before running off. Cameron, Sam, and Jasmine quickly followed suit, but as Zoey prepared to do the same, the camera cut in close to show her pausing and looking back.
"Are you coming?" Zoey asked, the camera shifting to show Gwen writing in her diary.
"Huh?" Gwen turned to her teammate. "The challenge is going to start? We should meet up with Chris." With that, she left, leaving Zoey to follow along.
\
The music turned slightly tense as the scene flashed to Chris standing next to a large crate filled with what looked like brightly-colored water balloons. He was making marks on a clipboard, but looked up and back when Justin ran up to him.
"Chris," Justin began. "Nice to see you here in your usual glory."
"Oh, good. I can't tell you how little that means to me," Chris replied sarcastically.
"You know, Chris, I was thinking. Super hot guys like you and me have to stick together," Justin said as he walked closer to the host. "So why don't you tell me what the next challenges will be? And then we can talk about guy stuff and I'll give you a card to visit my back massager."
"Do you have a card on you?" Chris asked the eye candy as Sugar was the second to arrive.
"Iiiii…left it at home," Justin slowly realized and admitted.
"Then compete like everybody else and stop looking for advantages, Justin," Chris remarked.
Confessional: Sugar
"That Justin's as wily as a hog with a library card. I wouldn't trust him any farther than I can throw a tractor, and that ain't more than a couple of feet!" Sugar said.
Confessional Ends
The static cut away to reveal that all twelve campers had arrived, their backs to the camera as they faced Chris, Chef, and the crate of balloons.
"Gather 'round, victims!" Chris began. "Today's game is called...'Doom Balloons'!" he announced dramatically, holding up a sloshing blue balloon.
"Doom balloons?" Sam repeated as the camera cut behind Chris's head. "That doesn't sound too bad..."
"That's cause I haven't finished yet," Chris told him with a quick chuckle, the shot moving back in front of him as he tossed his balloon back onto the pile. "You'll have ten seconds to collect a bunch of balloons that are filled with...who knows what," he explained as the camera began to slowly zoom into the pile. "Talc, paint, itching powder," the camera switched to a faster pan across the increasingly worried and/or horrified faces of the campers, "bees, spiders, bird poop...it's always a surprise!" he finished with a laugh as the shot stopped once more on the Bears.
"This is a travesty," Leonard said sadly.
"That's what I was going for," Chris said with a proud smile as the focus cut back to him. "If you're hit with any balloon contents, you're out," he continued sternly. "It doesn't matter if the balloons are thrown, dropped, launched, kicked, or sent by courier. Last player standing," he smirked and took out a whistle, "wins it for their team."
He blew the whistle. "Get your balloons, people!" he yelled, blowing the whistle a few more times in quick succession as the shot cut to the campers rushing into action. The sounds of pushing and arguing filled the air as Chris kept track of the time on his watch, and when he and the camera looked back to the crate Zoey, Sam, and Cameron were picking up the last few balloons.
They soon ran off into the woods, and the camera followed them as they passed Chris and Chef. "The hunting doesn't start until you hear the airhorn!" he announced, pulling out his airhorn.
Confessional: Leonard
"This kind of challenge has captured my interest!" Leonard confessed. "It'll be similar to me and my team fighting against-"
He was cut off by the sound of an airhorn. "I should get out to the battlefield!" he told the camera.
Confessional Ends
A low yet ominous melody began to play as the scene moved to Leonard, now walking through the woods with a few balloons cradled in his arms. He looked at the nearest large tree, and after looking around, he decided to take cover behind it.
Confessional: Leonard
"It doesn't matter how I take out the other team. They just have to be splattered by whatever's contained in the balloons," Leonard stated and pulled out a blow dart. "I made this blow dart during my free time using vine material, and it'll definitely come in handy if I want to conquer the Salmon!"
Confessional Ends
The static took the focus to Leonard as he his, only to perk up when he heard Bridgette call out "Hey Leonard!"
Leonard got out of his hiding spot to face Bridgette. "Speak silently or nevermore!" he hissed.
"Hmm?" Bridgette muttered before the LARPer grabbed her into the back of the bushes.
"My plan is to stay here and wait for one of the Floating Salmon to come here. That way, I can use my blow dart to take them out," Leonard whispered.
"But what if the darts hurt them in any way?" Bridgette questioned.
"I'll make sure that doesn't happen," Leonard promised the surfer girl. "A wizard is supposed to defeat their foes, not cause them pain or deliberately kill them."
Bridgette was confused by his entire speech, but shook it off. "As long as they aren't getting hurt, I'm okay with your plan."
"Excellent. As for now, we must keep quiet so they won't suspect us," Leonard said.
Confessional: Leonard
"In a fighting environment, the best course of action is to prepare and plan out what you are going to do," Leonard told the camera. "No one ever wins a wizard tournament by blindly going in and thinking they can do whatever. They'd be killed in an instant."
Confessional Ends
A hollow noise played as the scene moved to Sam walking alone through the forest, the camera cutting in close as he heard a twig snap behind him. He raised an eyebrow and a balloon, and a sharp note played as the shot moved back, revealing Zoey standing behind him. She cried, raising her arms and leg defensively.
"Oh, hi Zoey," Sam smiled, lowering his balloon.
"Hey, Sam," Zoey said, "Could we team up for this challenge and watch out for each other?" The camera moved from behind the gamer to behind his teammate.
Confessional: Sam
"Zoey's a nice girl, and while she may not be my love interest, she's someone I wouldn't hurt on purpose," Sam spoke to the audience. "But I don't want to get distracted during the challenge, especially when it involves throwing balloons."
Confessional Ends
"I'm sorry, but I'll go it alone," Sam told Zoey. "It's not because I don't like you. it's just easier to be silent when you're by yourself."
"Sorry. I didn't know I'd be a bother to you," Zoey apologized.
"You never were, and you never will be," Sam smiled comfortably.
Confessional: Zoey
"I want to make friends, and usually when I see someone talking to someone else, they'd hit it off quick," Zoey said. "I did talk to Jasmine and Sam, but that was only because of circumstances. Still, I don't want to be in their space all the time."
Confessional Ends
"Now that you say it, working by ourselves does sound good," Zoey said as the scene returned to her and Sam.
A deep and ominous tune began as Sam tensed up, then shushed Zoey. He quickly looked from side to side as the music built up, and the shot cut to Bridgette and Leonard peering through a bush with smirks on their faces. The wizard raised up his blow dart and took a deep breath, then the camera cut to Sam shoving Zoey to the ground. "Get down!" he warned in a whisper.
He raised one of his balloons and looked around again, then the shot cut to Leonard blowing a few small darts out of the blow dart one after the other. Each hit one of Sam's balloons, which promptly burst to reveal a swarm of bees within.
"Beeeees!" Sam cried out, running away from the buzzing swarm.
"Sam! Wait up!" Zoey exclaimed, popping back up into view after he'd ran off. She promptly gave chase.
The shot cut to Leonard and Bridgette standing up out of the bushes. "We just claimed our first Salmon out of the game!" Leonard celebrated.
\
A beep sounded as the scene cut to Chris, paused footage of the two Bears teammates on the widescreen next to him. "Leonard is really enjoying the game," the host told the camera as the capstone theme began to play. "Obviously, he doesn't know what surprises are waiting in the rest of those balloons," he added with a laugh, putting away his remote. "Stay tuned for more mayhem when we return. To Total! Drama! Paaaaahkitew Island!"
\
(Commercial Break)
\
The episode resumed with the opening of a tense tune, the camera following a rustling behind some shrubs until Jasmine crept out into the open. She looked around until the sound of hissing caught the outback girl's attention. She turned around to see a snake in front of her.
The shot cut to Tyler coming up and hiding behind some bushes. He saw Jasmine holding on to the snake, but he did not have the full knowledge about that.
"You should hide better next time, Jasmine!" Tyler held up his balloon and stood up in order to throw it, and the camera zoomed in to Jasmine turning around with the snake in a knot.
"That's the last time you'll be hissing at me anytime soon, scaly!" Jasmine told the knotted snake before throwing it away, causing Tyler to run away since the snake was being thrown at him.
Confessional: Tyler
"We're supposed to be throwing balloons, not snakes," Tyler complained. "If the snakes were made of balloons, that'd be okay."
Confessional Ends
The scene moved to a close-up of Sam's arm as he used a seashell to scrape away the stingers that riddled it.
"Sam!" Zoey said, the shot cutting outward as she ran past the tree Sam was sitting against with her balloons in her arms. She stopped as she saw him, first smiling and then cringing. "I hope the bees didn't do much damage to you," she said over a close-up of the gamer removing his final few stingers.
"It's not like it could have been worse-" the sound of someone standing up came from off-screen as she stammered in shock.
"It was," Sam said as the camera cut back to him, turned around and pointed at the large amount of stingers still stuck in his back.
"Yikes," Zoey said. "I didn't mean to get you knocked out of the game, Sam!" she told him as he pulled a stinger out with his fingers. "Is there anything I can do to help you?"
"You just have to warn our team that the Bears are using our own balloons against us!" Sam suggested. "We lost last time and if we do it again, we'd be outnumbered."
"I don't want us to lose again," Zoey sighed.
"And I don't want to lose out on my Superstar Series S," Sam followed up.
"I'll ask you about that later, but I'll go warn our team!" Zoey ran off to the left with a smile on her face.
Sam turned to watch her leave, before calling out a warning. "Watch out for that tree!"
The sound of a collision and a pained groan from Zoey immediately followed.
\
A flash took the scene to Sugar, walking by herself through the forest carrying a load of balloons. The camera cut in closer as she began to talk. "I haven't seen one Salmon since the challenge started!" she huffed. "Borin'!"
Confessional: Sugar
"I wish we were doin' a talent show today," Sugar confessed to the audience. "I've got this rap planned out, and it could start my rappin' career as "Sugar Silo"!" she said.
"Granted, they never let us rap in pageants, so it'll have to be on hold for now. But my music genre is a combination of country and rap. I call it 'Craptry,' or if you want to shorten it, 'Cap.'
Confessional Ends
Sugar stopped walking once she saw the snake Jasmine tied up lying on the floor. "What in tarnation? Who would leave a snake on the floor like this?"
The pageant queen picked up the snake and untied it. Once it was free, the snake hissed, but Sugar shrugged and stuffed its mouth onto her face for a while. It made a licking sound, and stopped when Sugar pulled it out.
"Thanks for washing my face, hefty worm. I feel cleaner than a sink made of soap. Now beat it!" she thanked the snake and threw it in the bushes before looking forward again and resuming her walk.
\
Another flash moved the focus to Alejandro as he crept silently along a patch of underbrush with a balloon raised and ready to throw. He suddenly spotted a bush rustling off to the right.
The arch villain charged forward, the camera following alongside him as the music spiked dramatically. As he reached the bush, Gwen rose out of it, ready to throw a balloon as well.
Alejandro threw his balloon at the goth girl and her chest was splattered with glitter.
"Glitter!?" Gwen asked in frustration. "Of all the balloons you're holding, you had to throw me that?" she told her opponent.
"My apologies," Alejandro said. "I had no idea you held a distaste for vibrant and colorful things like this."
"To be fair, you didn't know what was in that balloon. Sorry," Gwen said and started to head off. "But I don't have to play anymore now that I'm out of the game. Later, Al."
Unbeknownst to the goth girl, Alejandro shivered at the nickname.
Confessional: Alejandro
"I have no problem being called 'Al'," Alejandro boldly claimed, only to shiver once again.
Confessional Ends
The scene cut to Zoey running through the woods. She stopped near a tree, then looked up to see Cameron walking up to her. "Did you find anyone from the Floating Salmon?"
"Technically, I did," Zoey answered, "but they popped Sam's balloons, and we had to run since they were filled with bees."
"So Sam was the first one to get taken out?" Cameron asked.
"He was," Zoey sighed. "I still feel like it's my fault for getting him eliminated. If I didn't snap that stick, we wouldn't have gotten into a conversation and we would've been able to hide without any problems."
"It's not your fault. The other team just managed to pop his balloons without giving you two enough time to dodge or make a plan," Cameron comforted the redhead. "Don't let it get to you."
"I'll try," Zoey agreed softly. "So what are you doing anyway?"
"Me and Justin have just finished this contraption," Cameron replied as the camera panned to the side to show Justin pulling back a huge rubber band stretched across two trees like a giant slingshot.
"It's guaranteed to blast the other team away!" Justin bragged and noticed something off screen. "Oh, here they come!"
The camera cut to Bridgette and Leonard approaching just before the balloons that Justin was holding flew at them and hit them, covering the surfer in green slime and Leonard in a white powder. Bridgette cringed in disgust and Leonard just sneezed.
The shot panned back to the right to show Cameron and Zoey smiling admirably at their teammate. "Nice shot, Justin," Cameron told the eye candy.
"Watch out!!" Justin instantly shouted and pushed Zoey and Cameron into a nearby bush. A second later, Beardo appeared and threw a balloon at him, hitting Justin in the head with fish guts.
"IT'S IN MY HAIR! SOMEONE! ANYONE! TELL ME HOW TO GET FISH GUTS OUT OF HAIR!" the model shrieked out loud.
Beardo laughed to himself for a few seconds before darting away Road Runner style.
Confessional: Justin
"If you need me," a fish gut covered Justin sighed, "I'll be at the beach washing off these fish guts."
Confessional: Beardo
Beardo was imitating a driving car as he positioned himself driving one. He made a screeching sound and when the car crash effect came, he jumped out of his seat.
Confessionals End
An exciting challenge theme began to play as the shot flashed to show Jasmine running through the woods with a balloon at the ready.
"If you want to make this easier for the both of us," she said intensely, "just hold still and let me hit you!"
The camera panned ahead to show that she was chasing Sugar and quickly catching up. "Not if there's a bucket full of chicken!" the farm girl retorted.
The camera cut to a rock in the path the girls were running through, and a shoe tripped on it. The shot cut outward to show Jasmine screaming as she fell forward, the balloon she'd readied to shoot at Sugar flying up into the air and then back down onto her.
The outback girl groaned, and the camera moved above her to show her lying on her belly, her face covered with spiders. She opened her eyes, and immediately shook her head to get rid of the spiders. "Quit crawling on me!"
"Don't let that spider touch me!" Sugar dropped her balloons and jumped out of the way to avoid being hit by the spiders.
\
"I only have one balloon left," Zoey whispered to herself as the scene cut back to a close-up of her creeping through the woods, clutching her last weapon and looking around.
A branch snapped, Zoey shook up, and the camera pulled back. "Who's there?" she asked, and the intense challenge music resumed.
"It's Tyler, baby!" Tyler declared, standing up out of a bush and pelting Zoey with a balloon. It burst into a cloud of pale gray powder, causing Zoey to cough.
Zoey was about to say something before confusion gave way to frantic scratching on her body.
Confessional: Zoey
"Itching powder?!" Zoey asked the outhouse camera in a mild panic, still covered with the stuff and scratching her body. "I'm allergic to this stuff!"
"Everyone is allergic to it!" Chris informed her over the camp loudspeaker. "It's itching powder!"
Confessional Ends
"Alright!" Tyler cheered in celebration as Zoey ran away scratching herself. "Only one person left!"
The camera panned to the right as the music became ominous, and Cameron rose out of the bushes with a sly smile on his face. "That may be true, but I'll be the one to stop you," the short boy declared, hitting him in the face with a balloon just as he turned around.
"Darn it," Tyler said, drooping in disappointment as pink paint ran down his face.
Confessional: Tyler
"Can you not show this to my hockey team when you get the chance to?" Tyler asked the camera with the paint still dripping down his face.
Confessional Ends
The static moved the focus to Beardo as he was walking around and being observant about his surroundings.
"It's down to three of us and one of them," Beardo said to himself. "That shouldn't be difficult."
As he reached a bush, Sugar rose out of it, yelling and ready to throw a balloon. She stopped when she saw Beardo standing there.
"Oh," Sugar said in relief. "It's just you."
Before Beardo could respond, Alejandro walked on screen. "Greetings," he said smoothly. "Is everything okay?"
"Everything's fine, Alejandro," Sugar said with a smile. "I thought someone from the other team was her, but it just turned out to be Hairdo."
"It's Beardo," Beardo corrected.
"Good to know!" Alejandro said. "I have an idea on where Cameron is hiding. To get the drop on him, we must join forces."
\
The footage immediately skipped ahead to a shot of Cameron hiding inside a green bush that was just next to a giant rock.
The camera panned up the fall to the three Bears watching overhead.
"Alright, team," Alejandro said as the three leaned over the edge. "He's right down there. Just drop it on him and we'll win."
"You should take the shot," Beardo held the balloon up to the latin boy. "I don't have as much of a good aim as you do."
"He's got a point there," Sugar agreed nonchalantly.
"It's your balloon. You should do the honors of throwing it at Cameron," Alejandro said.
"Give me that," Sugar said, grabbing the balloon. "You'll obviously miss for us."
"Alejandro was right about it being my balloon," Beardo said, grabbing the balloon from his teammate. "I'll do it."
"Keep yer hands off if you know what's good for you," Sugar growled as she pulled the balloon back.
"Both of you stop," Alejandro demanded, grabbing hold of the weapon himself. As the three tugged it in a separate direction each, the balloon finally burst and covered them all in motor oil.
The camera jumped outward to a full shot of the island as Sugar's shrieks filled the air, startling a flock of birds into flight. "NNNNNNOOOOOOOOOO!"
At the end of it, Chris announced "Game over! The Floating Salmon wins the challenge!"
Confessional: Sugar
"This is all Beardo and Alejandro's fault," a motor oiled Sugar protested. "If they had let me throw that balloon, we wouldn't be covered in this motor oil. I'd vote for both of them, but I can only choose one."
Confessional Ends
A sharp, jarring note played as the footage resumed with Chris and Chef standing before the campers, all but Cameron covered in whatever they'd been hit with.
"Tonight's winners get to enjoy dinner from Mary's Lamb-Burger," Chris announced, holding out a bag of fast food. A trendy tune began to play as a close-up of the greasy thing spun into the foreground against a pink-and purple back, showing off the image of a smiling blonde white girl with a big pink bonnet holding up what looked like a burger with a lamb's leg sticking out of it. "That's Mary's Lamb-Burger and Barbecue Emporium," the host repeated. "Mary had a little lamb," he recited as the camera zoomed in to several sheep falling into the bag. A burst of fire flared up out of it, prompting Chris to laugh. "Had."
Chef snickered.
\
The scene cut to the outside of the Bears' cave, where Leonard was reading his spell book while sitting on a rock.
"And that's it for wings on page 318," Leonard concluded and closed his book. "I'll touch up on this later on."
He saw Sugar exiting from the mouth of the cave. "Mr. Wizard, I want you to vote for Alejandro while I vote for Beardo," the pageant queen said.
Leonard raised an eyebrow at her. "But why would you want them gone?"
"They blew up the balloon and got me covered in oil," Sugar answered. "This'll serve them right."
Confessional: Sugar
"And also, nobody steals my pig away from me!" Sugar added.
Confessional Ends
The scene cut forward to night, the opening bars of the elimination music playing over the usual long-distance shot of the island.
"Alright, players!" Chris said as the shot cut to the firepit, the Confused Bears seated and several already holding marshmallows. "Those of you holding marshmallows," the camera zoomed in and panned across Leonard, Tyler, and Bridgette, "are safe. For now," he added with a laugh as the shot landed on Alejandro, Beardo, and Sugar, the three of them empty-handed.
"Sugar, Beardo, Alejandro, one of you is going home tonight," the host continued as the music began to trill. "Beardo, you didn't drop your own balloon when you had the chance to. Alejandro, you didn't step in when the balloon was given to you. And Sugar, you tried to snatch the balloon away just so you can get all the glory. In short, all of you are to blame here, but in the end, Sugar is the one who's leaving today."
Beardo and Alejandro smiled and caught the marshmallows coming their way.
"No! NO! NOOOOOOOOOO!" Sugar wailed, the camera panning out to show her on her knees.
\
The scene skipped ahead to show Sugar loaded into the Cannon of Shame as she continued to blubber and cry loudly. "I personally believe competition shouldn't be based on points, but instead on your general awesomeness. Which means, I should not be in this cannon!"
"We'll see about that," Chris smiled as he pressed the button on his remote, firing Sugar into the night.
Confessional: Alejandro
"Thank goodness Sugar is gone," Alejandro let out a breath of relief. "She was extremely obnoxious and impolite, and that personality traits were able to strengthen my arguments on why she had to be voted off to my teammates."
Confessional Ends
"Eleven players remain," Chris told the camera as it cut to him near the sheer rock wall leading up to the elimination area and the capstone theme began to play, "but only one goes home with a million dollars. Find out who lasts, and who blasts, on the next, Total! Drama! Paaaaaaahkitew Island!"

Author's Note: Oh my, it appears I eliminated Sugar over Leonard and Beardo. Yeah, that was intentional. I have plans for both of the canon first boots while Sugar was an empty canvas. She only got this far because I wanted her to have more screentime.
