The Riverian: Zoey's my second favorite and all but she had the potential to be a much better character in canon if she wasn't so focused on Mike or looked Unintentionally Unsympathetic in some areas when it came to the love triangle. Not that Anne Maria was any better.
acosta perez jose ramiro: That's Al for you.
Floating Salmon: Gwen, Jasmine, Zoey, Cameron, Justin, Sam
Confused Bears: Alejandro, Beardo, Leonard, Tyler, Bridgette
Episode 04: I Love You, I Love You Knots
"Last time, on Total Drama!" Chris opened over a clip of Tyler hitting Zoey with a balloon full of itching powder. "The teams went wild with balloon animals," Beardo was shown hitting Justin with a balloon full of fish guts, "and not the kind ya think." The next clip showed Alejandro hitting Gwen with a glitter balloon.
"But in the end," Sam was shown fleeing in terror as his own balloons burst to reveal a swarm of angry bees, "the Confused Bears went bust," Jasmine tripped on a rock in the ground causing her own green jelly filled balloon to hit her, and Sugar and Alejandro and Beardo fought over their last balloon, causing it to burst and cover them in fish guts.
"So for the second time, they had to send a member home." Tyler was shown getting hit with a balloon of pink paint, followed by Leonard and Bridgette getting blasted with powder and slime. "And thanks to Sugar's unwillingness to cooperate," a clip of her using the snake to wipe her face was played, "it was her who was left without a marshmallow." The montage ended with Sugar wailing on the ground, then getting shot into the night by a cannon.
"Seems our pageant queen didn't win this here pageant," Chris said to the camera as it cut to him standing in an open field with a hand behind his back. "Now, let's start the game. It's time for Total! Drama! Paaaaahkitew Island!"
XXXXX
A deep tune began as the episode opened on the morning sun, the camera soon panning down onto the Salmons' treehouse and cutting inside. Gwen was in the process of sitting on her bed and writing something in her diary.
Confessional: Gwen
"I brought my diary to the island in case I get bored and need something to talk to," Gwen said. "I know I should be mingling with my teammates, but I don't want to get too attached to them. We're only going to see each other for a few weeks, and after that, we'll be going back home."
Confessional Ends
Gwen's attention was caught by Justin's voice calling out "Are you ready to go foraging? It's our turn to go get food today!"
"I'll be there in a second!" Gwen said back. She got off her bed, placed her diary inside her pillow case, and made her way out of the treehouse.
Confessional: Gwen
"I'm not stupid. I know if I leave my diary out in the open, someone can find it and steal it from me just to blackmail or humiliate me," Gwen confessed.
Confessional Ends
"My skin has been feeling old since those fish guts got on me, so I need all the blueberries I can get," Justin said, the static cutting to him and Gwen kneeling next to the bushes. They were picking out blueberries and putting them in their buckets.
"I don't want your skin to get all wrinkly," Gwen replied nonchalantly.
The scene panned to the right to show Tyler and Leonard walking to the right. Both boys were holding buckets, although Leonard was carrying a staff as well.
"I just don't get why you're bringing along your staff," Tyler spoke to the wizard. "We're only gathering food."
"I brought this for a reason," Leonard claimed. He saw an apple bush up on a tree, and he used his staff to hit the bush, knocking some apples off and landing into his bucket.
Tyler was awed and stunned by his trick. "Now I get it. I was going to climb the tree and grab the apples, but that works," the jock smiled.
"Do not take my staff for granted," Leonard grinned.
Confessional: Tyler
"I won't, but I still don't think Leonard's a real wizard," Tyler said to the camera. "If he was, he'd be flying around the island."
Confessional Ends
The footage skipped ahead to show all six Salmons gathered around and sitting on stone rocks in front of their treehouse, eating berries from the buckets.
"Excellent collection, you guys," Zoey told Justin and Gwen. "These blueberries are even more tasty than before."
"How did you even manage to find so many blueberries?" Jasmine asked.
"We wandered into this bush filled with tons of these berries," Justin said. "The more of these I eat, the sooner my skin can be unwrinkled."
"Okay, but I've never seen a bush like that when I was foraging last time," Cameron remembered.
Gwen looked over at Sam, who was slowly eating his blueberries. "Are you feeling okay?" the loner asked.
"I'm fine. I just wish Dakota was here to eat with us," Sam admitted.
He was cut off by the sudden whine of the camp's broadcasting system switching on. The Salmons promptly covered their ears and cringed, and shot dirty looks towards the side.
"Morning, campers!" Chris announced, the camera cutting to the booming loudspeaker. "It's time to start today's fun activity!" The shot moved to the Bears' cave as Alejandro, Bridgette, and Beardo went outside to listen. "So, get your butts over to the meeting area, tout de suite!" He finished with a laugh as Leonard and Tyler stopped picking food to listen to the loudspeaker.
\
The scene immediately flashed to the meeting area as the two teams filed onto the angled logs set up as benches. Chris stood between them, under a large television monitor that had been affixed to two tall, thick posts. Above the monitor was an electronic scoreboard that read 0-0, each in the color of the logo it was under.
"Step right up, players," Chris said. "Floating Salmon to the right, Confused Bears to the left."
The shot cut in close to the Bears' bench as Beardo and Tyler filed in at the right end. "Hey Beardo. I saved you a seat next to me," Tyler pointed at his right.
"Oh, thanks," Beardo accepted the gesture and sat down.
Confessional: Beardo
"My teammates have been making me feel welcome here," Beardo informed the audience. "I thought they'd vote me off in the last challenge, but I was wrong about that. I'll repay them by winning us this challenge."
Confessional Ends
"Glad you're all here," Chris said as he smiled for the camera. "It's time we separated the brave from the liars," he announced as a light but tense theme began to play. "The game is Truth, or Scare!"
"That sounds pretty nasty," Justin winced.
"Every round a player is chosen at random," Chris explained, pointing up to the monitor above him. Its screen was divided in half, with each side spinning like the reels of a slot machine – the left showing the faces of the campers, the right alternating between a halo and a flame. The left side suddenly stopped on Zoey, and the shot briefly cut to her frowning and looking around as the host continued. "It also chooses whether you'll do a truth, or a scare. Halo means truth," the right side of the screen was forcibly stopped on a halo, "flames mean scare," and then to flames.
"Get a scare," Chris explained as the shot cut back to him, "and you'll have to perform a terrifying challenge!" he said with a dark and vicious grin, provoking a gasp from the Salmons and an ominous musical riff. "Don't worry. Not all the scares will be scary. Some, will be disgusting."
The shot cut back to the reels, the left still on Zoey as the right resumed spinning before stopping on a halo. "But in this case, Zoey has gotten a truth." A cut to the girl in question showed her sitting in between Gwen and Cameron, gulping nervously as she stared up at the monitor. "This means she just has to answer a question honestly! But the answer," he leaned over towards the girl, startling her, "will be revealing! It will expose a dark secret that could destroy her in the eyes of her newly found friends!" The music trilled ominously as Zoey's eyes darted around in rising panic. "Or not," the host said with renewed nonchalance, "whatevs."
"How will you know if we're lying?" Zoey asked.
"For that," Chris grinned as he took his spot back in the center, "we spared no expense. Meet Clucky," he motioned down and to the left, the camera quick-panning over to show a normal-looking brown chicken walking over, "the truth-seeking chicken! No lie gets past this bird." Clucky looked around calmly as she was introduced. "She's former CIA and runs her own law firm: Buck, Buck, & B'gawk. If you have a secret," he gleefully told the campers as the shot cut back to him, "this poultry polygraph will pluck it out." With a flutter and a squawk, Clucky flew up onto Chris's well-coiffed head.
"Completing a challenge or telling a truth gets your team a point," he continued. "But, if you fail a challenge, or tell a lie, your whole team gets a shock."
A metallic clinking was heard as the shot cut to a close-up of Bridgette. "Um, what do you mean by 'shock'?" As she spoke, Chef walked up behind her and put a metallic collar around her neck, the same clinking sound heard as it locked and crackled with electricity. "Also," Bridgette added warily as the camera pulled back to show her full team, herself sitting in the middle between Alejandro and Tyler, "what are these metal collars Chef's putting on us?"
"You just answered your question," Chris said with a happy smile and a chicken still on his head. "But let me make it even clearer..." He held up a pair of single-button remote controls, a red one in his right hand and a green one in his left. With a squinting grin he pressed the buttons, and a dramatic note played as the two teams were electrocuted – first the Bears, then the Salmons.
He released the buttons, and the shot cut to the smoldering members of the Salmons. "You tested these, right?" Jasmine asked.
"Yup, I just did!" Chris answered with a bright smile. "And, you're still alive. Congrats."
A sudden cry rang out, and everybody looked up to see Dakota diving towards them on a hang glider while wearing a pink helmet. She crashed straight into Sam, knocking him off the log bench.
Sitting on Sam's belly, Dakota took off her helmet and smiled at the gamer lying on the floor. "Hey, Sam!" the heiress greeted.
"Oh, hi Dakota!" Sam greeted back with a smile of his own.
"Dakota?" Chris spoke up. "You're no longer competing. Remember?"
"I don't care about the money. Like I need it," Dakota said as she unhooked her hang gliding harness. "I just want, um, close up please." The camera zoomed in on her. "Thank you. I just want camera time. People need to see more of my sparkly adorableness if I'm gonna get my spin-off reality series." She suddenly winced as she was pulled out of the camera frame.
"You know how you flew off into the sky two episodes ago?" Chris reminded her as Chef pulled her to the host by the arm. "That means you're done. Forever!"
"No, please! I'll do anything," Dakota pleaded after Chef let go of her.
"Listen, princess. This is my show," Chris retorted until his cell phone rang. He answered it and after listening for a moment, he smiled at the girl. "It's your daddy." Dakota smiled as Chris listened to her father on the other end of the call. "Hello, Mr. Milton. How much money?" the host's attitude skyrocketed. Ending the call, he gave his attention to Dakota. "You're back!"
"Yes! Thanks, Daddy!" Dakota looked at the camera.
"As an intern," Chris finished.
"An intern?" Dakota whined, and Chef grabbed her by the arm again and pulled her away from the challenge area. "Noooo!"
"With that taken care of, let's start the game!" Chris said, turning to the other side. "Zoey?"
Zoey gulped again as Clucky fluttered over onto her lap, stared her in the eye, and clucked at her in suspicion.
Confessional: Zoey
"I have some things I don't want anybody to know," Zoey said nervously. "But with a lie detector chicken around, what choice do I have?"
Confessional Ends
"Zoey," Chris continued, "what is your true sexuality?"
Zoey looked to her side and saw her teammates looking at her and Clucky clucked demandingly. "Okay! I'll tell you..." she told her.
She took a deep breath and closed her eyes. "The truth is," she began along with a drumroll, "I'm…" The Bears were shown looking interested, then the shot cut to Jasmine doing the same. "...bisexual," Zoey admitted as the drumroll concluded.
The others gasped. Clucky clucked at her in suspicion, staring deeply into her eyes as a tense tune played...only for it to level off as she clucked in confirmation.
"Clucky says, that was a truth!" Chris announced as the scoreboard was shown dinging up to 0-1.
"You're into girls?" Sam asked, more out of curiosity than actual surprise.
"And boys as well," Cameron added. "That's what bisexual means."
"Yeah, I'm into both. I'm so sorry if this weirds any of you out, but it's who I am," Zoey stated boldly but nervousness creeped in her tone.
"If you think this weirds us out, then you're completely wrong," Jasmine said.
"I don't mind it," Justin shrugged. "Straight, gay, bi, it's who you are."
"So you're fine with me loving whoever I want?" Zoey's face lit up. "I thought you'd reject me for that."
"Only a homophobe would do that, and thankfully, that's not in our blood," Gwen comforted Zoey by patting her on the back, making the social seeker smile tenderly.
"And next," Chris said before looking back up at the monitor which promptly began to spin again, "we'll have Leonard," he announced, the left reel landing on the Bears' LARPer, "doing another truth. And the question is...," he began as the shot cut to him holding a stack of note cards, "What is your most crowning achievement?"
Leonard's eyes widened, and Clucky landed on his lap with a demanding cluck.
"Could I get a scare instead?" Leonard asked. "I'd be more suitable with that."
"You're running out of time, Leonard," Chris said sternly.
Leonard's eyes darted from the right to the left in a panic.
Confessional: Leonard
"I have to say something," Leonard declared. "I can't let my team get electrocuted!"
Confessional Ends
The static cut away to Leonard facing the host. "My biggest achievement is vanquishing a cloud dragon causing havoc in the skies," Leonard told the host.
Clucky flew from his lap and grabbed the red remote from Chris. Setting it on the ground, she pressed the button with her beak, and the Bears were all shocked.
"Liar, liar, Leonard's on fire!" Chris singsonged. "And by fire, I mean electrocuted." He finished with a laugh.
"Of course you're not actually a wizard," Alejandro spoke up. "You're just acting like one."
"Even I could tell whether you're bluffing or not," Beardo said.
To these words, Leonard sighed miserably in his seat.
Confessional: Leonard
"Everybody was right. I was just roleplaying as a wizard this whole time," Leonard swallowed his pride. "I just wanted to feel special and impress my team, but I may have just sealed my fate here."
Confessional Ends
"You guys can work out your issues later," Chris told the Bears. "Up next..." He looked back up to the monitor, and the first reel quickly stopped on the surfer girl, and the second on a flame shortly after. "Bridgette! Doing a scare."
"Bridgette," he said as the shot cut to the wary girl and the music became slow and tense, "to earn a point," the camera moved behind her shoulder as Chris walked in front of her, "you will have to drink. An entire jug." The shot switched from zooming in on Bridgette to zooming in on Chris. "Of mineral water!" He produced a clear glass jug about two-thirds full of sloshing water.
"That's not so bad." Bridgette smiled, taking the jug.
Chris took out a stopwatch. "You've got thirty seconds," he said, pushing its button. The background score immediately sped up, the clock ticking over it.
Bridgette put the jug to her lips...and took a small sip. And another small sip. And another. And another.
"What are you...," Tyler asked in disbelief, the camera cutting outward to show her teammates watching her. "Really?"
"Are you sure that's the best way to do that?" Leonard added.
"You have to chug, not sip!" Alejandro chimed in.
Bridgette gave them an anxious look, then gasped for air. "Fifteen seconds," Chris told her with a smile, the stopwatch still ticking in his hand.
Most of the Bears groaned. "I can't drink any faster," Bridgette told them in a pleading tone.
Beardo replied by grabbing the jug, and vigorously shaking it about so the water began to fizz and hiss ominously.
Bridgette gave him a blank and wary look. "Beardo, what are you doing?"
"Trust me when I say that this is gonna work," Beardo said. The human soundboard removed his hand from the jug's mouth, and the water shot at Bridgette, knocking her onto her back with her legs sticking up in the air.
Confessional: Beardo
"I've seen people at parties that I DJ do this trick whenever they're having soda chugging competitions," Beardo explained. "I figured it'd come in handy here."
Confessional Ends
"Half of it went up her nose," Chris said as the shot cut back to him and his stopwatch. "But that still counts as drinking. Confused Bears gets a point with ten seconds left." He looked up to the scoreboard, which updated with a ding to show the score at 1-1. "Well done Bridgette," he said to the girl, who was still on her back. "Bridgette?" he asked as she reached up and grabbed onto the log.
Confessional: Bridgette
"I don't know what will happen next," Bridgette told the outhouse camera, painfully holding her bloated stomach, "but I'm certain a volcano will go off in my belly." Her stomach gurgled ominously. "Brace for impact..."
Confessional Ends
Now sitting back on the log among her teammates, Bridgette's stomach gurgled loudly again and the other nervously scooted away from her.
"It's a 1-1 tie," Chris told the camera as it moved back to him and the capstone theme began to play. "But, it looks like a contestant might get blasted off the island early, and we won't even need the cannon! Stay tuned to find out, on Total! Drama! Paaaaaahkitew Island!"
Bridgette's stomach growled again as the shot hung on the full view of the island.

(Commercial Break)
\
The episode resumed on a close-up of Bridgette's rumbling stomach, the background music quickly building up into an intense peak as her hands shot up to cover her mouth and her cheeks bulged…only for her to burp lightly.
"Huh? I thought you'd get at least ten feet of air," Jasmine commented.
"On a positive note, I didn't get blown away," Cameron added.
The music became tense as the camera cut back to the monitor, the first reel stopping on Justin. "Justin!" Chris said impishly just before the second reel stopped on a halo. "It is, truth time!"
"Um...," Justin said, looking at Clucky warily as the chicken walked over. "I won't get chicken disease from Clucky, right?"
Chris shrugged. "Who knows?" he said before raising his next note card. "Justin, for a point: Who do you think is the most attractive person on the island?"
"That's simple," Justin said calmly. "It's me."
The music became deep and dramatic enough as Clucky was shown giving him a one-eyed inspection, then fluttering over to the smiling host and knocking the remotes he was holding to the ground. She pressed the button on the Salmons' with her beak, and the team was electrocuted.
"Justin's the one who lied," Sam said after the shock passed. "Why are all of us getting shocked?"
"Sorry, you're a package deal," Chris told him. "Remember: if one of you tells a lie, you all pay the price." A tense tune played as the camera cut first to Jasmine and Cameron, then Zoey, Gwen, and Sam, then Justin's face falling upon seeing his teammate's glares.
Justin just gulped.
The shot cut back to the spinning reels. "And next up, we have..." Chris said before the first reel stopped, "Tyler."
"Okay," Tyler said optimistically, "I ain't got anything to hide."
"Doing, a scare!" Chris finished as the second reel was shown stopping on a flame. Tyler gulped, and Chris walked over to him with a mischievous grin. "Alright Tyler," he said, "there are scary scares. Then, there are scarier scares," he hunched himself over. "And then," Leonard and Alejandro were shown sharing a confused look, "there's this." He took out a note card.
"For a point," Chris said as the music built up ominously again, "you must...kiss a person next to you."
Tyler's eyes widened in fear, and he looked to his left at Beardo, who looked shocked. "Thanks, but I'm not really the best kisser," Beardo said.
Confessional: Beardo
"Besides, I'm sure there's someone else he'd rather be kissing right now," Beardo added on.
Confessional Ends
Tyler let out a breath of relief. "It's cool," he said, giving his teammate an awkward smile. Then, as he turned his head to the right, a touching tune began to play as he locked eyes with Bridgette. "Well...if it's this or a shock," he said as she briefly looked away bashfully, "I guess we may as well...I mean, if we have to."
Confessional: Tyler
"I'm gonna get to smooch a girl!!!" Tyler whooped about in the confessional. "ALRIGHT!!"
Confessional Ends
"Of course!" Bridgette said happily as the touching tune resumed. "We have to do it to win the challenge."
"Right," Tyler chimed in. "It's not like..."
"I mean," Bridgette said with a light shrug, "it's just two people."
Chris walked over to them. "Hey, chitty-chat chatters. Clock is ticking," he pointed at his stopwatch.
"It's best if you two just hurry up and kiss," Alejandro added.
Bridgette and Tyler shared a look at one another and the music became tense, the camera zooming in as they puckered up and moved slowly towards each other.
"Time's up!" Chris announced just before they kissed, a sharp note playing as the shot cut outward to show the full and shocked line-up of the Confused Bears. "And since your lips never actually touched..." The camera panned down to Clucky as she stepped on their team's button, and another sharp note played as the five were electrocuted.
"Sorry," Bridgette said dejectedly.
Confessional: Bridgette
"I almost had my first kiss with him, and I blew it," Bridgette facepalmed.
Confessional Ends
"Next up," Chris said over another close-up of the spinning reels, "Cameron! Doing...a scare," he announced as the reels stopped on the bubble boy and the flame respectively.
"Cameron," he said as tense music began to build, "for the point, you must... let an animal crawl on you for 30 seconds."
Cameron smiled. "Strange, but I'll do it," he said confidently.
The shot cut to Chef bringing a spider to Cameron as the boy's eyes widened in shock.
The camera cut to a close-up of the bubble boy trembling with fear, then to a close-up of the spider.
Confessional: Cameron
"I have a severe case of arachnophobia. Spiders are just so creepy. Literally. Anything with that many legs must be evil!" Cameron shuddered.
Confessional Ends
A deep, dramatic note was struck as the challenge footage resumed on the close-up of Cameron with his eyes clenched shut and the spider crawling on his head.
"You've got this, Cameron," Sam told him as the shot cut outward to show the campers next to him.
"You only have a few seconds left," Zoey added.
After sitting still for a few seconds, Cameron opened his eyes and shouted "GET THIS SPIDER AWAY FROM ME!" and threw the spider away from the challenge area.
"You stuck it out," Chris commented as the shot cut to him, "but had you lasted longer, you could've avoided this."
The camera immediately cut back to the Salmon as electricity once more coursed through their bodies. All six of them groaned as it ended. "I just couldn't take it," Cameron said in shame.
The shot moved back to the monitor as the reels began to spin again – and soon landed on Sam and a halo. "A truth? Bring it on!" the gamer said as the focus moved to him and Clucky jumped up onto his lap. She clucked at him suspiciously and looked him in the eye. "Hey there, Clucky."
"Sam," Chris began to read from his card, "you only went on one date with a girl. Why so?"
"I drank a lot of water and it caused me to burp heavily," Sam answered.
A cluck drew the camera back to Sam and Clucky as the chicken got face-to-face with the startled curly-haired boy, staring him right in the eyes. After a moment, she clucked in disdain, fluttered away, and landed next to the two remotes that were still on the ground. She stared back towards the Salmons as she pressed their button, and the shot promptly cut to them getting shocked again.
"Sorry Sam," Chris said from off-screen as the camera focused on the smoldering gamer boy, "but Clucky says you're lying."
"Aww, really?" Justin said in disappointment as the shot zoomed back out.
"You should've just told the truth," Jasmine added, and Sam groaned.
"From here on in, I'm gonna suggest better team play," Chris said as the focus moved back to him. "Maybe then the score will get higher than 1-1!" he added, the shot quickly cutting away to the scoreboard. "Remember what's at stake. The losing team will be sending someone home! And while I don't know who that could be, there's already a couple good candidates on each team." The shot cut first to the Salmons as Cameron, Justin and Sam looked around in a defiant sort of sheepishness, then to the Bears to show Tyler and Leonard looking nervous. "But hey!" Chris said brightly. "Anything can happen! It's on to the Lightning Round!"
\
A fast-paced an intense challenge theme began to play as the reels resumed spinning, quickly stopping on Alejandro and the flame. "Put piercings on a raccoon!" Chris announced. The footage immediately cut to a slow pan onto the forest with plenty of furious howls and snarls coming from off-screen. The camera finished its pan to show Alejandro, bruised and scratched and smiling proudly, holding an angry raccoon with piercings like his.
The shot cut to the scoreboard as it became 2-1, then panned down to show the reels landing on Beardo and a halo again. "Who is your least favorite teammate?" Chris asked with great enthusiasm, causing the beatboxer to gulp nervously. The camera panned across his curious team as he darted his eyes around nervously. Clucky was shown moving over to their remote, and the seated Bears were soon shocked once more.
The reels began to spin once again, this time landing on Gwen and another flame. "Beautify a bear!" Chris called out and the footage moved to the loner kneeling beside a bear lying on its back. She frantically applied dark eye shadow, black lipstick, and a bit of powder to it, and it soon sat up, looked at its reflection in a hand mirror, and grunted happily. The scoreboard promptly changed to 2-2.
A pan down to the monitors showed the reels landing on Jasmine and a flame. "Feed an iguana with your mouth," Chris declared, and the camera cut to Jasmine holding a cockroach. She held onto it with her teeth, and then walked over to an iguana sitting on a log. The iguana wrapped its tongue around Jasmine's mouth, causing the Australian Outback girl to run around with the animal in disgust.
The shot cut to the scoreboard updating to 2-3 in the Salmons' favor.
Then the reels landed on Sam and a halo again, and the shot cut to the boy in question as he facepalmed.
The footage skipped over the question and inevitable failure, and the shot immediately cut to him and his teammates being shocked.
A cut back to the reels showed them landing on Beardo and a flame. "Okay Beardo, to get a point," Chris said as the scene moved to Chef bringing an insect to the Bears, "you must take this live insect and-"
Beardo shrugged and grabbed the insect, then shoved it in his mouth and swallowed it.
"Whoa! Whoa!" Chris exclaimed in shock, barely able to stop himself from vomiting. "All you had to do was pet it!"
"Oh," Beardo said blankly, but rubbed his belly. "Does this count?"
The shot cut to Chris, doubled over and trying to avoid puking. He took a deep breath, then resumed his usual posture and cleared his throat. "Y-Yeah... Close enough. Confused Bears get a point!" he announced, a light triumphant tune playing as the scoreboard updated 3-3.
"After all this pain and anguish," Chris continued, the shot cutting outward to show him and Chef and Clucky standing between the two teams, "you're still tied. Makes it seem like it was all for nothing," he added thoughtfully as the camera slowly zoomed in on the depressed-looking Bears. "And while I could do this all day," the shot panned across the similarly-downtrodden Salmon before cutting to the grinning host, the remotes now in his hands, "seriously, I mean these are awesome!" he said excitedly, looking from one remote to the other before stowing them away behind his back. He took a breath. "It's time for the game to end," he announced, earning a sigh of relief from the Bears. "Right after the Sudden Death Round!" he added with dramatic excitement, earning a gasp from the Salmon.
"A player from each team will go head-to-head in a duel challenge," he explained. "Winner's team gets immunity. Loser's team gets shocked, and, sends someone home," he said with a sly smirk.
The shot cut to the monitor, now showing only one reel containing the faces of the Salmons and nothing else. After a couple seconds it landed on Sam.
"Not again!" Justin complained.
Jasmine turned towards him. "Hey, this is for the game. Let's show some support!"
Justin smiled forcefully. "Good luck, even though you didn't tell the truth twice."
"Will it be a scare this time?" Sam asked.
"Sam," Chris said as he walked over to the team. "In the sudden death round, there are no truths. Only scares."
"Finally! We have a shot to win this!" Zoey said, prompting the team to cheer.
"Well that depends on if he can beat..." Chris said as the shot cut back to the reels, now showing only the faces of the Confused Bears, "Beardo!"
A deep note played as the shot cut to Beardo's smile. "Cool," he said as he zipped over to the host and Beardo. "Bring on the scares!"
"Whatever it is, I can take it," Sam crossed his arms.
Chris held up two cloth sacks – one in each hand, both tied shut. "The game is simple," he explained with his usual smile. "In each of these bags, you'll find the opposing team's shock remote. First to untie the tightly-knotted string, get the remote, and shock the opposition, wins the day."
The shot cut outward as he handed the bags to Beardo and Sam. "Go!" he declared, and a deep and tense challenge theme began to play.
A close-up showed Beardo trying to untie his knot, a determined look on his face. It was followed by a close-up of Sam doing the same, pursing his lips as his fingers tried to get a good grip on the string.
"Do it, Sam!" Justin called out, drawing the camera to the Salmon. "Don't let us get shocked!" hee added as the team cheered.
The shot then cut to the Bears all cheering Beardo on enthusiastically. "That's it," Alejandro added. "Keep pulling!"
"Oh no," Cameron cried as Sam was shown still fumbling to get a hold of the string. "His fingers are too flabby!"
"If you can't undo the string," Zoey called out from off-screen, prompting Sam to turn his head and the camera to cut back to him, "then find another way!"
The shot cut back to Sam as he smirked confidently, then renewed his efforts by attacking the knotted string with his teeth. The camera panned over to Beardo, who had loosened his knot but not untied it. "If I can master turntables, then why is this so trucky?" he griped in frustration as he kept pulling at the string.
The screen split in two, each side focusing in on one of the bags, and just as Beardo finished untying his knot with his fingers, Sam simply pulled the entire string off the bag with his teeth. Both bags were opened, but the right side slid away and the camera pulled back as Beardo tried to dump out his remote.
"No no no!" Beardo cried as he fumbled and dropped it.
The shot cut to Sam holding up his remote with a grin. He slowly raised a finger to push the button, then the camera moved to Beardo half-bent over and gasping at his opponent, then back to Sam - his eyes closed in triumph - finally pressing his remote.
Beardo was shocked, as were the rest of the Bears.

A deep note played as the scene skipped ahead a little ways, the campers all seated. "What an interesting day," he said in a calm voice as a faintly victorious tune played. "Floating Salmon," he motioned to the winners, "as winners of Truth or Scare, you gain immunity," he said as he walked over to them.
"What a relief," Cameron sighed.
"You also get this week's fast food delivery," Chris took out a greasy paper bag, "courtesy of Humpty Dumpty's Meat Shack!" An elevator music tune began to play as the shot cut to the open bag lying on its side on an orange table; on the side of the bag was an image of an egg-shaped character sitting in a horseshoe despite the nursery rhyme never mentioning eggs. "At Humpty's, all the king's horses feed all the king's men," Chris said as a few horses ran into the open bag, which then tipped upright.
The shot cut to the team in question as everyone gurgled in disgust and covered their mouths.
"Huh," Chris told them as he stowed the bag with his own look of disgust. "Or if you want, Chef's making chicken. Confused Bears," he turned to the other team, "time to vote one of you off the island."
The five members of the Confused Bears sighed and sagged in disappointment.

A flash took the scene to Dakota walking through the woods by herself. She was now clothed in the same outfit worn by the other three interns.
Sam ran up alongside her. "Hi, Dakota. How's being an intern going?" he asked.
"So not good," Dakota sighed. "I've had to clean his entire trailer, especially the bathroom," she cringed in disgust. "Does he make his own trailer dirty on purpose just to bug the interns?"
Sam put a hand on her shoulder. "I'm sorry for what you have to go through, but hopefully things will get better for you as you work."
"I hope so," Dakota muttered.

Another flash took the scene to just outside of the Bears' cave, the camera focused on Leonard. He was reading his book, then looked up as Alejandro walked in his direction.
"Hey Leonard," Alejandro said. "Can we talk?"
"Sure," Leonard accepted.
"It's about tonight's vote. I know you think you'll be the one leaving, but I can prevent that from happening since I believe in giving people second chances," Alejandro said.
"Really?" Leonard raised an eyebrow. "How can you save me?"
"By getting Bridgette to help us vote off Beardo," Alejandro said. "He did lose the tiebreaker for us, and we can't get Tyler's vote as he's friends with Beardo."
"I'd hate to lose an ally, but I'll help you," Leonard smiled and went back into the cave. "Thanks for giving me a fair chance."
"Anytime," Alejandro replied, and he walked away with a clever grin.

The footage cut ahead to nighttime, the moon high above the island. The opening of the elimination theme was cut short as the camera cut to the campfire area, the Bears' logo appearing in the corner.
"The following Confused Bears members are safe," Chris opened. "Alejandro, Tyler," the shot cut to the pair sitting on a log together and happily catching the marshmallows tossed their way, "and Bridgette." The shot cut next to Bridgette and Leonard sitting together on another log, the surfer accepting her prize. The boy smiled at her, then froze and frowned in sudden realization as the dramatic music began to build.
"Leonard, you could be going home because you've been acting like someone you're not just for clout," the host explained from off-screen.
"Beardo," the shot cut to the beatboxer as he raised an eyebrow, "you could be going home for getting your team shocked by failing to untie the remote."
"And tonight's human cannonball is...," Chris said with a bright smile, "Beardo!" The shot cut back to the wizard, who caught his marshmallow in surprise.
Beardo made a noise that sounded like Pac-Man when dying. He looked to the side, and Alejandro smirked and winked at him as he held his final marshmallow, making him gasp.

The scene rotated to the Cannon of Shame, the camera focused on Beardo in the barrel, the somber farewell tune playing in the background. "I can see why I'm going home," he said. "I blew the tiebreaker for us."
A dull note played as the shot cut to his former teammates, Leonard, Tyler, and Bridgette feeling bad and Alejandro smirking in victory.
"But you should all watch your backs around Alejandro," Beardo warned as the shot cut back to him. "He's not who he seems!"
"So you say," Chris told him as he took out his remote and pressed the button.
"IT WAS REALLY NICE TO MEET ALL OF YOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUUUU!" Beardo quickly said goodbye as he was promptly shot into the night.
The shot moved back to Chris watching with binoculars, and the capstone theme started up in the background. "I think I just sunk someone's battleship. Ten players left," he told the camera with his usual smile. "Find out which nine get to hang, while one, goes bang. Next time, on Total! Drama! Paaaaahkitew Island!"
(Roll the Credits)
Floating Salmon: Gwen, Jasmine, Zoey, Cameron, Justin, Sam
Confused Bears: Alejandro, Leonard, Tyler, Bridgette
Author's Note: And so we bid goodbye to Beardo. His arc was short and simple and in the end, he achieved his goal, especially if Alejandro was viewing him as a threat.
So big bombshell here, Zoey is bisexual. This may seem like a silly little thing to make her look sympathetic but like a certain gay character in the reboot, we will be using her sexuality to our advantage much later. Trust me.
14th: Staci
13th: Dakota
