Beach is Better
The warm sand at Lillie Beach makes any spirit feel cozy. The ocean breeze entices the senses as the saltwater air adds a touch of tranquillity to the mood. The water Pokemon enjoy the area because the beach is calm, and the people leave them alone, except toddlers. Lakeshore Academy seniors arrive at the beach for part one of their senior trip. Dean Kathin brought some of the fountain water to bless the area. As he sprinkles the water, a blue mist surrounds the resort. A woman's voice could be heard by Apin and Rosé, "I am coming for my children!" "Maybe we should have left the fountain water," Apin said. "There is nothing to worry about," Dean Kathin said. "The fountain water is safe. Now please stop with this jumbie nonsense!" Ash shakes his head as he sees a shadow. He turns around and sees no one. "Are you okay?" Allison asks. "I thought someone was behind me," Ash said. Allison hugs him. "I think we'll be okay," Allison said to reassure Ash, although it didn't work. Odd looks around and sees the faculty with the tape. "They are going to tape our doors at curfew." "The jumbie in the fountain is the issue, not teenage sex," Alexis said. "Speaking of it, did the book say how to address the situation?" "No. But if we can remove the cotton ball and purify the water, I think we'll be okay." "Good, because we need a supernatural-free spring semester," Dexter said. Dean Kathin gave the students their room assignments. "Please remember, stay at the resort and have fun. NO SEX! WE HAVE EYES!" The students nodded and went off as the blue mist followed them.
The students enjoy windsurfing, sky dancing, cloud chasing, and snorkeling throughout the day. Some students decide to relax on the beach, like Allison. She begins to read the book that the Royal Library gave her. "Wow, she looks like me," Allison says to herself. She looks around and sees Ash, Sajin, and Brock windsurfing with their Pokemon. "I hope they didn't place any bets because Sajin is a pro." Rosé wiggles herself next to Allison and sighs. "Too bad we can't go to school by the beach," she said. Allison has her Beats on and cannot hear her. "Hello?" Rosé says as she taps Allison on the shoulder. "Huh? Rosé, what are you doing here?" Allison asks. "I was talking to you about the beach." "What about it?" "The fact that we should have school by the beach." Allison nods. Rosé is taken aback by Allison's nonchalant's tone. "Right. I'm sorry for the whole flirting with your boyfriend and framing you and shit. It was partly Sangharsh's plan, but I was about clout chasing. It was wrong and rude. I should have never done that," Rosé bows as she apologizes to Allison. "All is forgiven," Allison said. "Really?" "Yeah. Also, my sister goes to a university by the beach on Earth. She said you must put your head in the books between the guys and the sun, or you'll get lost.' Rosé chuckles. "Guys like smart women, so studying by the beach gets you a tan and a man!" Allison chuckles.
Jeremy, Aelita, Dexter, and Hiroshima are building a sand Snorlox. "I wonder if the real one will approve," Dexter said. "I think so," Hiroshima said. Aelita uses a sand shaper to make the curve edges of the Snorlox. "Almost done. I wish Odd were here to help," she said. "He is windsurfing with Ulrich and Yumi," Jeremy said. "Ulrich?" Aelita asks. "Yeah, he is enjoying the breeze." Cressila arrives with two buckets of water. "Here you go. Two more for moldable sand," Cressila said. "Thanks," Dexter said. Dexter scoops some water and sees blue mist around the water. "What is this?" Jeremy walks over and takes out his mini laptop. "It came from Aatma Phavvaara." "What? That can't be good." "No way," Jeremy mumbles. "More news?" "The cotton ball that planted itself in the fountain is causing the blue mist because Dean Kathin brought some of the water here," Jeremy explains. "What does the blue mist mean?" Before Jeremy could answer, an arm reached out of the bucket and tried to grab Jeremy. "Aah!" Dexter takes out his wand and casts a spell. "Daanav Avarodhak!" The attack works, and Jeremy falls to the ground. Aelita, Hiroshima, and Cressila run to his aid. "Are you okay?" Aelita asks. "Yeah, but we must tell Dean Kathin about the blue mist. When they do, he scolds them. "I had the water check, plus I said no more jumbie talk," Dean Kathin said. "With all due respect, sir, we know what we saw, and we need to stay guarded," Jeremy said. "I will not be told what to do by an heir. Now, drop this or be confined to your rooms," Dean Kathin said. The group was taken aback by that demand. At the same time, the blue mist makes its way to the hotel. "I am coming for you all," a creepy female says.
Later that day, the group tells the others about the blue mist. "We saw it, too," Dawn said. "We were swimming near the Crosola Cove when we saw it; all of the Crosola turned white and ran away," Ash J said. "I can't believe Dean Kathin is ignoring the problem," Moxie said. "He is not," Alexis said. "He wants to be the hero in the story so he can keep his job." "What do you mean?" Odd asks. "Alicinda will be Queen in a few years, and she can replace Dean Kathin as the Royal Advisor if she wants to, but he wants a leg to stand on." "Where did you hear that from?" Ash asks. "The book that I got from the Royal Library." "Well, please fire him for the good of me!" Rocky said. "What can we do? Dean Cranky has us on his radar?" Ulrich asks. "Wait," Brock said. "Wait? For what? For the jumbie lady to attack us?" Yumi asks. "Yes, she will, and we can defend ourselves." "I am not trying to deal with Dean Kathin," Sajin said. "Well, we will get the brunt of the force if that helps," Jeremy said. "No. It makes it worse." Daah walks by and sees the commotion. "What is going on?" "The jumbie followed us to the beach because of the blessed water that Dean Kathin brought. We are going to deal with it if she strikes. Wanna help?" Sajin asks. Daah nods. "Sure. Why not?"
A few nights later, Sajin woke up and heard a sound. He notices blue foam on his window. He wakes up Ash J, Rocky, and Jeremy. "Blue foam?" Jeremy asks. "From the blue mist," Rocky adds in. They call the others, and they arrive in the lobby. "What is the plan?" Alexis asks. The lights go out. Nurse Joy, wearing a coral dress with a white apron and hair in a heart shape bun, takes out her flashlight. "What is going on?" She looks around and sees a blue figurine in front of her, and it blows a kiss at her. She faints, and Brock catches her. The blue figure laughs and tries to grab the children. "Run," Brock screams. The group splits up in the lobby. "What do we do now?" Rocky asks. "The blue figurine is not the jumbie from the Aatma Phavvaara. It is a servant, so any holistic spell should work," Ash J said. Rocky nods and gulps. Alexis takes out her wand and casts a spell. "Pavitr Shaant!" The blue figurine freezes but strikes Alexis. "Ouch, my stomach," she sees a burn. "Let me try," Dawn said. She uses her sword. "Maanavata ka Pyaar." The figurine freezes long enough for Dawn to heal Alexis. "Watch out," Alexis shouts as the figure tries to hit Dawn. Odd flies in with his sword. "Shaanti Paath!" The blue figurine breaks into enough pieces to grab everyone. Yumi and Ulrich used their swords, but the flames made the parts grow. The Knights were corned by the elements and were guarding Nurse Joy. Jeremy and Aelita cut through the pieces but noticed that Rocky and Hiroshima were trapped in a dome. "I want to study a piece after this," Jeremy said, but an arm grabbed him and tried to squeeze his heart. "Aah!" Brock makes vines to hold the arm, but his heart is getting crowded. "My heart!" Dexter and Aelita combined their magic to break the components, and Moxie added a touch of holy magic, but more arms came and grabbed everyone. "Hold on!" Allison shouts as she uses her headband and breaks an arm off. She takes out her Princess sword. "Wombmate! Point your sword to the sky!" Ash J nods, and the two blades make a heart in the sky. "Thandar Kraisis," the twins shout, and the blue mist and figurine disappear. "It worked! How did you know?" Hiroshima asks. "I told her," Rosé says as she appears from the front desk. "We were chatting, and I told her my grandmother said that twins have this phenomenal, magical bond." "And it works because?" Cressila asks. "She is a priest, and she knows her shit. Also, Alicinda and I cleared the air." "We did," Allison said. Nurse Joy wakes up, and Blissey gives her water. "Blissey, you woke up," Nurse Joy said. The group smiles.
After the trip, Jeremy begins studying the blue foam from the monster. "The fountain water powers it, and it had a big drink," Jeremy said. "How can we get the cotton ball out?" Dexter asks. "Right now, we can't," Aelita said. "It grew roots and will damage the Aatma Phavvaara, which will harm the school." "We can't live like this. Soon it is spirit week, and I want to have fun and not deal with a jumbie," Alexis said. "I know, but for now, we have to leave the cotton ball until we talk to Lady Thanda," Allison said. "Who is that?" Dexter asks. "Nurse Joy told us," Hiroshima said. "She specializes in silk cotton tree curses." "Now we're cursed!" Rocky explained. "Having been in the fountain, I want it gone!" Rocky paces. "Relax, Hiroshima, Allison, and I are going to meet her in two days," Jeremy said. "Please!" Rocky begs. "I like that you're begging!" Jeremy teases.
Later that night, Ash goes home to help his mother with a catering job. "Thank you, Ash," Delia says as she kisses him in front of the guest. "Mom!" Ash blushes. "Sweet, the Leader of the Knight still helps his mommy," a guest said. As Ash goes to sleep, he dreams about Allison. "I love you," Allison said. "I love you, too," Ash said as he kissed her. Pikachu arrives and shocks him, but he doesn't feel anything. Then he hears a noise. "You dream about her?" Sangharsh asks. Ash wakes up and starts to sweat. He looks up and sees Sangharsh staring at him. "Boo," Sangharsh said. "Aah!" Ash screams.
