Floating Salmon: Jasmine, Zoey, Cameron, Justin, Sam
Confused Bears: Alejandro, Leonard, Tyler, Bridgette
Episode 06: Mo Monkey Mo Problems
"Last time, on Total Drama Pahkitew Island!" Chris said, the opening shot of the sunlit island giving way to a clip of Bridgette and Justin's first round against each other, ending with Bridgette sweeping the model off his feet with a dueling stick. "The teams battled in a Smash, Splash," the next clip of the recap montage showed Alejandro jamming his dueling stick into Jasmine's legs, and was followed by Zoey completing the second X for her team, "and 1-2-3 X Dash."
"Got to meet Scuba Bear," Chris continued over a clip of the bear jumping out of the water and swatting Tyler into it. "That's right," the bear was then shown interrupting Gwen and Bridgette's stand-off, "Scuba Bear."
"Justin realized that Alejandro has him outmatched in hotness," the host continued as Justin glared at Alejandro while greeting him, "and while he managed to get the upper hand on him," the model was shown tricking Alejandro into thinking that Scuba Bear was behind him, "he could not do much else," Chris added with a laugh over clips of Justin being knocked into the water by the other team.
"Gwen confessed to Zoey about being bisexual just like her," Chris continued over a clip of Gwen talking to Zoey, "and then the Floating Salmon lost the challenge." Alejandro was shown placing the final dueling stick on the Bears' board. "And thanks to Justin feeling ignored by her," Justin was shown failing to get Gwen to agree with him, "Gwen was shot out the cannon next," Chris said as the loner was shown being shot out of the Cannon of Shame.
"We're down to nine, which is great," Chris told the camera as it cut to him. "And it's soon to be eight! Who'll go kaput? And who'll stay put? Let's find out, on Total! Drama! Paaaaaaahkitew Island!"

A grand tune started off the musical score as the episode opened on the Confused Bears' cave. The scene soon cut inside to Alejandro and Leonard lounging about on the rocks.
"Leonard, I'd like to ask you a question, and I want you to be honest with me," Alejandro spoke first.
"Uh, sure," Leonard allowed.
"Why did you put on a facade of being a wizard if you knew you weren't actually one?" Alejandro asked. "Honestly, it made you look delusional and out of touch with reality."
"I felt like if I acted like some normal guy, I would just get booted out early. Total Drama has a bunch of eccentric personalities so I figured if I acted that way, I'd be able to slip under the radar," Leonard explained.
"I understand that, but you made yourself too blatant that if you lost us a challenge, you'd be voted off," Alejandro replied.
"I'll admit, I did go too far, but I love LARPing to the point that I get lost in my own characters," Leonard admitted.
"That'll just keep causing you to get embarrassed," Alejandro said. "Tell you what, I'll help you become more normal, but we'd have to be in an alliance in order to do so."
"Okay," Leonard nodded in acceptance. "With Tyler and Bridgette eyeing each other, we're almost outsiders."
Confessional: Leonard
"Alejandro's right. My habits are extremely unhealthy to my health," Leonard confessed. "I'm still a LARPer fan, but that doesn't mean I have to believe I'm a knight or a pirate."
Confessional Ends
"And that's how I wiped out during the biggest wave of the summer," Bridgette said as the static cut away to a frontal shot of her and Tyler picking berries off a bush. "Now, I've made it my top priority to always shine my surfboards." The viewpoint moved behind them as they put their haul into the satchels slung over their shoulders messenger bag-style, then continued on to the left.
"So surfing has been a part of your life ever since you were young?" Tyler wondered.
"My parents run a surf shack at my local beach," Bridgette smiled. "At first, I wasn't into the idea of surfing, but as my parents taught me more and more, I grooved into riding the waves and I got my own surfboard."
"That's epic!" Tyler complimented the surfer girl. "My dad's a sportscaster, and with all the money he makes for us, he hooked me up with all my sports gear."
"Good to know that you guys live in a higher class home," Bridgette said.
Confessional: Tyler
"My dad figured sports would be a good hobby for me once he realized my unnatural strength," Tyler told the viewers. "My first piano lesson, I broke the piano, so that kinda set the bar for me."
Confessional Ends
A few deep notes played as the scene moved to Sam, Justin, and Cameron, the camera directly in front of them as they were walking around the beach.
"I don't know if my mind is playing tricks on me," Cameron said as he noticed a rock in front of him, "but I seem to remember there not being a rock placed here."
"I don't see what the big deal is," Justin said. "I've never been to this part of the beach until now."
"But I have," Cameron replied and pulled out his notebook. "During our free time, I went for a walk around the island to freshen up my mind, and not once did I see a rock like this lying on the ground."
"Maybe you missed a spot when you were wandering around," Justin shrugged.
"Even so, this isn't possible," Cameron replied. "Rocks don't just show up like they've been a part of the island."
"You stop stop worrying for now. It causes wrinkles," Justin advised before he saw Sam feeling drained out and without his usual energy. "Uh, Sam, is something the matter?"
Sam, who had been looking at the ground, stared up when he was called. "Why do you guys look like pixels?" he asked the boys as his perspective changed to show Cameron and Justin in a block style similar to Minecraft.
"Look like what?" Justin widened his eyes in surprise.
"Pixels," Cameron explained. "They are a small basic unit of programmable color on a computer display or in a computer image."
Sam shook his eyes before looking at the two again, and they were back to normal in his view. "Never mind."
Confessional: Sam
"So maybe that wasn't the best way to act in public, but can you blame me?" Sam told the camera. "Chris confiscated my last handheld yesterday. I haven't played a video game in fourteen hours, five minutes, and twenty-two seconds!"
The nice-guy gamer yelled out hastily. "Can someone please send me a game console?"

The background music became low and tense as the scene cut back to Tyler and Bridgette walking together through the forest with satchels of fruit and lines of fish. "Hey, teens!" Chris suddenly announced over the camp loudspeakers.
"What now?" Tyler promptly asked as the two stopped and looked up.
"Proceed to the meeting area," Chris continued, the shot cutting to the booming loudspeaker. "It's time for me to laugh at your pain! There'll also be a challenge."
As he spoke, the camera moved back to the two as Bridgette smiled. "We should get there, but we have to leave our food in the cave first," she suggested.
\
The scene flashed ahead to the meeting area, the team logos appearing over their respective sides. All the campers save for Tyler, Bridgette, and Sam were present; Chris and Chef were there as well in the back center, the assistant standing behind some sort of box on a pedestal and the host standing next to a vending machine of all things. The machine seemed almost ordinary, a faded salmon color and with a large circular signboard sticking out of the top – which bore the image of a familiar salmon-colored bag of snacks with a fish tail for a logo...
"Hey. Something's weird with this island. Those trees were closer yesterday and that mountain wasn't there before!" Jasmine called out.
"And I am a hundred percent sure you are a few koalas short of a swarm," Chris retorted.
"A swarm of koalas?" Jasmine looked confused. "But really. Something's not right here."
"I can stand with Jasmine here," Cameron spoke up. "I've spotted more rocks on the beach when I went for a walk, and the trees keep moving in different spots when I'm not looking."
Jasmine sent a smile and an impressed nod Cameron's way.
Confessional: Jasmine
"I gotta say, Cameron is one smart battler," Jasmine commented on the bubble boy. "Not because he sees eye-to-eye with me about the island. Being homeschooled as an ankle biter helped him very much."
Confessional Ends
"I'm giving the others one more minute," Chris said irritably, checking his wristwatch as the camera cut in closer to him. "Then they're cannon food."
Leonard turned to face Alejandro. "You think Bridgette and Tyler are almost finished with finding food for us?'
"I trust them to not disregard the rules," Alejandro said.
The shot cut to Bridgette running up. "Sorry I'm late!" she said. "Collecting food was a big hassle today."
"I'm willing to forgive you," Leonard said. "Some delicacies are too high to reach up to."
As Bridgette sat down, Alejandro looked around. "And where's Tyler? He was also collecting food too."
"He wanted me to catch up to you guys while he left our food at the cave," Bridgette answered.
Confessional: Alejandro
"Leonard was correct about Bridgette and Tyler spending too much time together," Alejandro said. "The next time we're up for elimination, I can get either Bridgette or Tyler voted off in a majority vote. I'll just have to convince one of them to vote for Leonard and the other for me."
Confessional Ends
The scene cut to Tyler running up to his team from the left. "I'm here," he announced. "Now who's ready to rock today's challenge?"
"I am!" Leonard said enthusiastically, high-fiving Tyler as he ran past to sit down at the end of the log.
"Your enthusiasm is enjoyable to have on this team. Never lose that," Alejandro winked at the jock, who smiled bashfully at the arch villain.
"We just need Sam here, or else he'll be disqualified," Zoey said to her team.
"I'm here!" Sam said, the camera following his teammates' gazes to the left to show him walking up and taking the spot next to Justin. "Sorry for taking so long. I just kept bumping into things and tripping on the floor."
"What's with Sam today?" Jasmine whispered to Cameron.
"He's suffering from video game withdrawal, it would seem," Cameron claimed. "He saw me and Justin as pixels!"
"Well, let's just hope it doesn't interfere with the challenge today," Jasmine said.
"Today's challenge is called 'Snack Attack'," Chris began, the usual exposition theme playing as the logos once more reappeared above their respective teams. "This vending machine only takes gold coins," he explained with a motion to the machine as the shot cut in closer. "The first team to get their gold coin into the machine wins, and gets something to eat."
"That sounds easy enough," Zoey said with a smile.
"I was hoping one of you would say something like that," Chris replied. "Chef?" he said, motioning to his assistant. The large man opened the lid of the wooden box, the closer shot revealing that it had two holes punched into it before two small wide-eyed forms were revealed to be within it. "I'm giving the coins to Alphonse and Betty here," Chris said as a pair of monkeys hopped out onto the side of the box, identical in shape, color, and curiosity save for the necklaces they wore – pink on the left, blue on the right. Chris flipped two gold coins at them, and which they happily caught before jumping down and scampering off. "Who are now going to run away."
"They're getting away!" Bridgette exclaimed as the two monkeys ran past her team.
"Let's go!" Jasmine stood and shouted for her team.
"STOP!" Chris exclaimed, holding out his hands for the two teams to stop. "Nobody move! The monkeys get a head start. The Bears' monkey has a blue necklace," he explained with his usual smile. "Salmons' monkey is in the pink one."
Confessional: Zoey
"I have experience raising my hamster Ms. Puffy Cheeks and she's a handful," Zoey explained. "She actually punched a cat once. Hopefully this will help with the monkey this challenge."
Confessional Ends
The shot cut to the Floating Salmon as they huddled together slightly. "Me and Jasmine found this while we were foraging," Zoey grinned at her teammates and pulled a banana from the pocket of her pants.
"Nice job thinking ahead!" Sam said brightly. "We can't lose for sure."
"Why are bananas even growing on an artificial island?" Cameron wondered. "It doesn't make any sense."
"Okay," Chris said, drawing the focus back to him as he pulled out his airhorn. "You can go after your monkeys, riiiiiiiiight...nnnNOW!" A close-up showed the horn being blown, and the campers all ran off.
\
"Alright team," Alejandro said, a hectic tune playing as the scene flashed to him leading his teammates into the woods then abruptly stopped, "I say we should split up to cover more ground. Any agreements?"
"I'm okay with that!" Leonard agreed and went his own way.
"That works well for me," Bridgette said coolly as she ran off into the woods.
"Excellent idea, Al," Tyler said eagerly before running past Alejandro.
"It's Alejandro, not Al!" Alejandro called out angrily, but retained his cool. "Keep it together. I'm going to need every advantage I can get in the game." Smirking, he started to run off.
\
The scene cut to Dakota in the woods. She was in the middle of trying to roll a giant, green metal ball, but strained every now and then.
"Dakota, hey!" Sam called out while he came running up behind her. After he panted, he resumed speaking. "What's with the big ball?"
"Chris just said it's for the next challenge, and he wants me to push it," Dakota huffed.
"I'll help you if it's not any trouble," Sam offered.
"Aww, you're such a gentleman!" Dakota smiled.
Sam went up beside the fame monger and helped push the ball along, their combined strength making the roll easier.
"Do you have any idea on where I can find my team's monkey?" Sam asked. "They have a specific location."
"Sorry, but the interns can't give out information about ongoing challenges," Dakota apologized. "I'd love to help you, but I don't want to get fired."
"Completely understand," Sam said. "I know how to capture the monkey though."
"You should stick with your team so that you guys can find the monkey together," Dakota suggested. "However you want to bring the coin back is up to your skills."
"Up to my skills…" Sam went off in thought before an idea brightened up. "I know what to do, but I should get back to my team." He jogged away. "Thanks Dakota. You're an angel!"
Dakota waved goodbye to him, a blush forming on her face.
\
The scene moved to Betty, the monkey in the pink necklace, as she sat on a rock by a stream as she admired her coin, then looked around with a few wary 'ook's. A slow, tense tune began to play as the camera pulled back to reveal the five members of the Floating Salmon creeping up to it, Jasmine, Zoey, and Cameron in front with their hands raised expectantly, Justin just behind them looking at his reflection with his mirror, and Sam catching up with them.
"Remember," Zoey whispered as Cameron handed her the banana, "no sudden movements." The rest of her team nodded, and Zoey locked eyes with the monkey that was watching them. "Hey Betty," she told it, "let's make a deal. Give us that coin you got there and we'll give you this nice banana."
The shot cut in for a close-up of it, and a tinkling sound played as Zoey wiggled it. Betty looked at it for a moment...then gave it a few dismissive 'ook's and turned away to focus on her coin again.
"Don't worry," Zoey said as the camera cut back outward. "It's nice and fresh! See, look!" he said, peeling the banana and waving it at the monkey again. Betty briefly looked at it, but quickly looked back to the coin in her hands.
The camera moved back onto the five Salmons as they huddled together. "This isn't working," Justin said in annoyance.
"Usually, monkeys like bananas," Cameron said, "but these ones won't eat them."
"We gotta go with Plan B then," Jasmine told them.
They turned back to face Betty, the shot cutting back outward to show the three crouched down again. "Now!" Jasmine shouted, the music spiking as she pounced.
Betty simply turned and ducked, causing Jasmine to sail over her and land with a splash in the river. She jumped onto and off of Cameron, Sam, and Zoey as they pounced as well. She laughed all the way past a startled Justin, then the shot cut to her climbing the trunk of a pine tree. She paused to look down, then ate the coin.
The four Bears gasped. "NOOOOOO!" they cried out as one as Betty climbed away.
\
A flash took the scene to Chris walking calmly through the forest whistling to himself, unaware of Alejandro running towards him with a smirk. They soon collided, knocking the host onto his butt and the latino back a step. "Chris, do forgive me," Alejandro said, putting on an apologetic smile as he offered his hand to Chris. The host, glaring in annoyance, accepted it. "I was so busy chasing the monkey, I did not see you," he explained while Chris dusted himself off. "I'll get going."
As Alejandro ran off, Chris still squinted his eyes at him. "Note to self: start team swap next episode," he declared.
Confessional: Alejandro
Alejandro was standing upfront with a device in his right hand. "I managed to take Chris's cell phone. I'll need it if I want to give my team an advantage over the opposing team."
Confessional Ends
The scene moved to another part of the woods, a few light notes playing as a bush began to rustle. The camera cut in closer to it just as Alphonse, the monkey in the blue necklace, leaped out of it with a happy chitter. He was soon followed by Tyler, who looked around in suspicion before spotting something and smirking.
"Booyah! Nice plan," he said as the shot cut to a blue necklace lying on the ground and dramatic music began to build up, "but you're not going to be able to fool me." He picked up the necklace, and the camera panned up to him as he looked up and his eyes went wide. He screamed and the music spiked as the camera moved behind him, panning up to show the massive pine tree standing before her and all the countless monkeys sitting in it.
\
A flash took the scene to Leonard walking through the woods. "All this walking and I still can't find our monkey," he spoke glumly. "If I actually had magical powers, I'd poof our monkey here."
"I have the same trouble like you," Bridgette said as she entered the scene. "Usually, animals would come towards me."
"I can see why. You're extremely compassionate," Leonard claimed.
"Thank you," Bridgette smiled. "So what's up with the cloak? Do you wear it with you all the time? I've been wondering."
"Truthfully, I do," Leonard admitted. "I wanted to make myself feel interesting and unique."
"Are your parents on board with this, because I'm pretty sure they'd want you to dress more appropriately like any parent would," Bridgette said.
"You are correct on that," Leonard nodded. "They feel I could get my cloak destroyed and I could be ridiculed for it, and though I have my fair share of being stuffed into lockers and being teased, I don't want to get rid of it. It cost me thirty to buy."
"I don't want to change who you are, but maybe you can try leaving your cloak back at the cave," Bridgette suggested. "That way, you can try and feel normal, but still be you."
Bridgette walked away from Leonard, who paused to consider what he was told to do.
\
Another flash took the scene back to Betty, who was now sitting on a larger rock and scratching her armpit.
"I know how to get the coin," Justin said before taking off his shirt. The shot cut outward to show him walking slowly towards the monkey as his leitmotif played while his team watched from the sidelines.
"That's it," Justin said slowly as he approached the monkey, who was starting to swoon over him. "Just give me the coin and we'll be on our way."
The camera pulled back as a bear suddenly rose up from behind the rock formation Betty was sitting on, roared, and swiped the monkey into its mouth as Justin screamed. The bear swallowed.
Confessional: Justin
"Why do bears come out at the most inappropriate of times?" Justin facepalmed heavily.
Confessional Ends
"Spit that monkey out right now!" Jasmine ordered the bear.
The bear looked at Jasmine, blinked, then roared. The Salmon screamed as a dramatic riff played, and the viewpoint changed to the live feed on television. The camera promptly pulled back to show Chris and Chef watching back at the meeting area.
"If that's how it ends for Team Salmon," Chris commented with fake worry, the footage promptly pausing, "I don't think I could bear it!" he joked, cracking a smile and looking at Chef.
Chef just rolled his eyes while the host laughed.
"What?" Chris asked. "Too hilarious?"
Chef walked away.
The capstone theme started playing as Chris turned to face the camera. "Wanna see how angry a bear can get?" he asked. "Me too! So, stay tuned to Total! Drama! Paaaaahkitew Island!"
\
(Commercial Break)
\
"How am I going to sort this out?" Tyler wondered aloud, the episode returning to a view of him from the branches of the tree he was looking at, several curious monkeys on and in the branches looking back at him.
"Hold on," Bridgette said, the shot cutting to her and Alejandro arriving on the scene, "are you saying that any of those could be our monkey?" she asked Tyler.
"Yep, so it's going to take us a long time to guess," Tyler answered, looking from his teammates to the tree, the camera moving behind the three Bears to show the monkey-filled pine again.
\
A flash took the scene back to the bear as it burped, then started cleaning its teeth with a toothpick. The shot zoomed out to show the five Floating Salmon watching it from a safe distance.
"I don't know what we're going to do now," Zoey said as the camera moved back in front of them. "Not only is our coin stuck in our monkey, but our monkey is trapped in a bear!"
Justin scoffed. "I had it all planned out until that bear ruined everything."
"All you did was take off your shirt and show your abs," Sam said. "Did you expect the monkey to give us our coin?"
"My abs are chiseled. Nobody can resist them," Justin defended himself.
"We're not going to waste time talking about abs," Jasmine interrupted. "We need a new plan."
"How about this?" Cameron declared, taking a step to the side. "If the coin's in there," the shot cut to the bear, "then let's just bring Chris the bear!"
The team gasped in shock. "Bring him the bear?" Justin repeated. "How do we do that?! It's a bear!"
Confessional: Sam
"Yes, bringing the bear towards Chris is not only a bad idea, but it'll get us killed before we even get there," Sam panicked.
Confessional Ends
The music became slightly hectic as the scene flashed back to the Bears, Leonard walking up to his team. Alejandro, Bridgette, and Tyler widened their eyes at what they were seeing; Leonard was without his trademark green cloak. He had brown curly hair, a green T-shirt with gray sleeves and a gold star symbol on the chest area, tanned shorts, long white socks, and blue sneakers.
"So as you can see, I've left my cloak in the cave," Leonard explained. "I'd tell you more, but I'd like to put this on hold just to wonder what you guys are looking at."
"Nice clothes, and we're looking at the monkeys," Bridgette answered, pointing towards the camera which promptly cut behind the group as the new arrivals turned and noticed the tree full of monkeys they were facing.
"Unbelievable," Leonard gaped in surprise.
"Now you've caught up with us," Alejandro said.
"I'll handle this," Leonard walked forward as his teammates watched. "Greetings, monkeys!" the LARPer shouted at the monkeys. "If you would be so kind as to give us our coin, we'll reward you with fish from our cave!"
Leonard suddenly gasped and jumped back, narrowly dodging the clumps of something thick and brown and somewhat goopy that were flung at him.
"Yeah, that was no deal," Tyler pointed out.
"So what are we supposed to do?" Leonard asked.
The shot cut to a close-up of Alejandro thinking. "We won't be able to bribe or force them to give us the coin. We'll just have to trick them."
"And how?" Bridgette asked.
"It's elementary," Alejandro replied. "We play Monkey See, Monkey Do."
A few dull notes played as the camera jumped outward, showing the other three Bears looking at Alejandro blankly.
"Well, it's worth a shot," Tyler said.
Confessional: Alejandro
"This is why I'm the team's leader rather than them," Alejandro explained.
Confessional Ends
"And that will be our plan," Cameron said to the Salmons.
"So to get this straight," Justin said, "you think we should get that bear mad and pray we can outrun it long enough to lead it to Chris."
"Not to mention that we'd possibly get mauled if this fails," Jasmine continued.
"Maybe," Cameron said as the shot cut to him, "but we won't know for sure unless we try. And if we just leave the monkey to the bear, we'll be up for elimination."
"And I know who I'll be voting for," Justin muttered.
"Well, we have to do it fast," Zoey spoke up. "The bear's walking away!"
The others gasped, and a dramatic riff played as the shot cut to the bear standing up with a satisfied grunt and wading into the river. The shot then cut back to Sam as he watched the bear float on the river, his perspective changing to the pixelated fashion from earlier. The bear was in the center of the screen on the river, and on the top right were three hearts.
"Whoa. Video game world. My ultimate gamer dream come true," Sam marveled.
\
The footage cut to the monkeys in the tree watching the Bears and growling viciously. The music thrilled tensely as the shot cut to the campers themselves as they broke a huddle and lined up, mischievous smiles on their faces.
"Alright monkeys, wave your arms in the air!" Bridgette called out, leading her teammates in raising their arms and waving them around. The shot cut to the monkeys as they enthusiastically followed suit, every last one of them waving their arms and ooking excitedly.
"Kneel on one leg!" Tyler said next, the camera cutting to him as he kneeled with his left leg with his right leg in a sitting position – his three teammates quickly following suit. Once again, the shot cut back to the monkeys as they excitedly mimicked what they were shown, those on the branches and those clinging to the trunk kneeling.
"And...flip a coin in the air!" Alejandro followed, pulling a silver coin from his pocket. Once the others had followed suit, they all flipped them into the air, then smiled expectantly up at the tree as the most became tenser.
The shot cut to a close-up of some of the monkeys, most looking down at the humans with renewed suspicion and irritation – except for one, who smiled excitedly. It pulled out a gold coin and flipped it into the air to the surprise of its comrades, and the camera followed the coin as it spun right into the waiting hand of Leonard. "Excelsior!" he grinned, the camera cutting back to the monkeys as Alphonse palmed his face and the others glared at him.
"With our object achieved!" Leonard said in relief as the shot quick-panned back to the Bears, "we can get back to the meeting area!" He turned and ran off back to the right, and his teammates followed alongside him.
\
The scene flashed back to Sam. "It's on me now. Let's do this!" he cried out determinedly, and the camera pulled back to show him getting strange looks from the rest of his team.
The gamer ran past his teammates and into the river. A quick-pan to the left showed the bear pausing at the far bank to look back at him, and the camera cut back to show Sam picking up six small stones.
Sam ran back to the front of his team, and he threw his first three stones at the bear. The bear managed to dodge all three stones, and Sam's hearts decreased from three to one and a half.
"I thought bears were super inactive," Justin said.
"Keep throwing the stones, Sam!" Cameron encouraged.
"I won't fall when I have one and a half lives left!" Sam drew back, then threw his remaining stones with all his might. The music blared dramatically as the stones struck the bear on the muzzle and bounced off.
The music died off as the bear blinked and grunted in displeasure.
And then the camera pulled back and the music blared again as the bear stood up, raised its forelegs, and roared angrily. It charged back through the water on all fours, a fast and dangerous tune playing as the five campers scattered. They screamed as they ran while Sam turned and ran to the right, the bear chasing right after him.
"After that bear!" Jasmine called out as she chased after Sam and the bear, the others taking up the rear.
\
The music turned hectic as the scene moved back to the Bears running through the woods. "And with that, we win again!" Leonard declared.
"Don't jump to conclusions," Bridgette said. "We don't know what the Salmons are doing."
"If they were to finish, Chris would have announced it by now," Alejandro spoke up.
"But still," Tyler replied, "we have to move fast."
\
The music became fast and hectic as the static cut to Sam running away from the snarling bear, the camera soon pulling back to show them chasing around the meeting area. The rest of the Floating Salmon were standing near Chris, and all four of them were watching Sam and the bear.
"Not that this isn't funny," Chris spoke up, the shot focusing on him as he turned his head to the left and looked over his shoulder to watch Sam run by in the background, "but why did you guys bring me a bear instead of the coin like I asked for?"
"We did bring you the coin," Zoey told him.
"Rrrrrright...," Chris said, skeptically as the bear roared and continued chasing Sam. "You say the coin's inside the monkey, which is inside that bear. That's the story?"
"It may be crazy, but it's true," Cameron told him.
"We would not want to tick off the bear willingly," Justin chimed in.
"I see...," Chris said, still looking skeptical. "Unless you guys can get the coin back out of the bear and into the vending machine, you're going to lose."
The Salmons were shown sighing or groaning. Then Sam ran past them, earning their attention. "We have to help Sam!" Zoey cried out before the nice-guy gamer disappeared to the left, the bear still running after him.
Jasmine steeled herself. "I've had enough of that wily bear!" she declared as a dangerous tune played.
The shot cut to the bear as the outback girl jumped on its back. "Alright Mr. Growl, stop right there!" she told the bear, grabbing it around the neck and pulling tight – the bear, startled, quickly skidded to a stop.
Sam skidded to a stop and sighed in relief. "That wasn't my worst near death experience."
The shot cut to the other three. "Allow me to handle this," Justin said.
The shot cut to the eye candy jogging toward the stopped bear. Just before he reached the bear, Jasmine hopped off its back, allowing Justin to come up behind it, pick it up around the waist, and squeeze.
The camera moved in for a close-up as the bear's eyes and mouth bulged, and with another mighty grunt from Justin, it coughed up several things all at once. The shot cut to the ground as a rather stunned-looking monkey landed with the magazine it looked to be reading, as well as a license plate, a shoe, and an apple core. A pair of tanned hands soon scooped the fluid-covered monkey up, and the camera panned upward to show Justin wincing at it.
"That is so gross," Zoey said, the shot quickly cutting aside to her cringing in disgust.
"Someone get the coin out!" Justin threw the monkey at Sam, disgusted by the fluid.
With the monkey in his hands, Sam squeezed the monkey's belly, causing its mouth and eyes to bulge.
The tense music that had been playing rose up as the team were shown wincing as they watched Sam. "Don't hurt it too badly!" Zoey cried out.
"Just do it enough to win!" Jasmine added.
Just then the camera quick-panned to the left as Leonard ran out of the woods, a gold coin in his hand and a smile on his face. "I'm almost there!" he cheered.
The shot cut back to Cameron as he turned his head back to Sam. "Keep going!" he encouraged, "and try not to hurt it!"
"I hurt evil video game animals, not real life ones," Sam told them as the shot cut to him continuing to squeeze the monkey's belly, now holding it against his chest. "Got it!" he added with a cheer and a victorious riff as one more strong push caused the monkey to spit out the coin, and Sam promptly dropped the monkey on the floor.
The shot cut to the coin on the ground as Justin quickly picked it up. "Much cleaner than the monkey!" he said as he flipped the coin forward.
"Pardon me, Salmon!" Leonard interrupted as he ran past the team, causing them to gasp.
"Don't worry!" Justin said as he ran forward. "I'll just throw the coin!"
"I don't think that's a good idea!" Cameron tried to warn the model.
"Just run!" Zoey shouted.
Justin didn't listen as he skidded to a stop. "I got it!" he said, the camera pulling back to show him throwing. The camera followed the coin through the air as tense music played.
The shot cut back to Leonard running, a smile on his face. The viewpoint shifted to his own to show the vending machine getting closer and closer, then returned to Leonard's side.
The shot cut to a close-up of a coin entering the slot, then panned back to show Leonard smiling at the machine a split second before the Salmons' coin landed in.
"Whoa!" Chris exclaimed in shock as the shot cut to him. "Game over!" he turned and told the camera. "The Confused Bears win the challenge!" he announced, and the Salmons groaned. A pained groan cut them off, and the shot followed their gazes to the ground to show the bear crawling off on its belly.
"Today's snack food is from our Japanese affiliate," Chris told the camera in a suave voice as it cut back to him. He turned to the side and motioned to the vending machine, a familiar fast-paced electronic jingle playing as the machine was shown against the usual orange-and-gold radiant background. "Iiiiiit's Chef Hatchet's Total Drama Yum-Yum Happy Go-Time Candy Fishtails!" he announced as several of the disgusting treats flew out of the vending machine, wiggled in the air a bit, then came together in front of the machine's signboard and disappeared.
"Okay," Chris said in a more serious tone, both teams now assembled before him, "Floating Salmon, it's time for you to vote to determine who's going into the cannon," he told them sternly. The shot cut in front of the five of them, Sam, Jasmine, and Cameron sending glares to a nervous Justin and Zoey hanging her head in shame.
Confessional: Justin
"Okay…that one was on me," Justin gulped. "But I can shake things up and get the votes off me with my patented, all-time lady-killing mega flip." He slowly shook his head from one direction to the other, and his hair moved about even slower before falling back into its normal perfectly well-coiffed position.
Confessional Ends
A deep, sharp note opened the ceremonial music as the scene cut to the usual moonlit shot of the island. "The Floating Salmon has voted," Chris said, the Floating Salmons' icon appearing in the corner of the screen as the scene moved to the fire pit. "The following players are safe," he continued as the shot cut in close and he picked up the first of four marshmallows from the tray that Chef was holding. "Sam, Jasmine, and Zoey," the camera quick-panned over to the back row to show the three happily catching their prize.
"You two were the only ones to get votes," Chris told Cameron and Justin, who were both seated in the front row and grew weary. "But the final marshmallow goes to...," Chris said, the music reaching its tensest part. The host closed his eyes and picked up the marshmallow, and the music peaked. "Cameron." He opened his eyes, and tossed the marshmallow away.
Cameron beamed, catching his marshmallow with both hands.
"Justin, you're out," Chris said from off-screen, the camera panning to the model as he stood up and gasped in shock.
"It can't be," Justin stammered. "I'm the hottest guy on the team! I even used my mega flip!"
"That wasn't enough to make us change our mind to vote you off," Jasmine said. "You should try harder next time, mate."
"Definitely," Chris said gleefully, drawing the attention back to him. "The cannon awaits."

The screen flipped around, transitioning the scene to the Cannon of Shame with Justin already loaded in. "Just so you know," he said as the somber farewell theme played, "with me gone, this competition just got eighty percent less handsome!"
"Make that seventy percent," Chris said simply as the shot cut to him pressing the button on his remote. Justin was fired off into the night, and the shot cut to his former teammates watching him leave from the edge of the elimination area.
"Well, that's another one gone and already forgotten," Chris said smugly as the shot cut back to him, shrugging as the opening beats of the capstone theme played. "As tempting as it is to see how many kids I can stuff into the cannon, eight remain. Who's next to show us their cannon-do spirit? Find out next time, on Total! Drama! Paaaaaaaahkitew Island!"

Floating Salmon: Jasmine, Zoey, Cameron, Sam
Confused Bears: Alejandro, Leonard, Tyler, Bridgette
Author's Note: Look guys, let's be real here. If Justin's looks can wear off on such desperate saps like Lindsay and Beth, then Jasmine and Zoey are bound to lose the appeal of Justin's looks even faster. Especially since one of them already has a crush. So yeah, Justin was fun and I enjoyed writing for him but in the end, he was doomed to be eliminated.
